Gold Street

Memo French Leather, BR540 and Bleecker Street came together and made this. It is satisfying and sultry. The notes on Fragrantica might scream this as feminine but it is unisex - in the way I find BR540s extrait (and not the EDP) to be. I find a man more apt to wear this over other similarly sweet fragrances like Greenwich or Tribeca. I agree with 'The Wolf's' review.. its not overdone in any one way, it is quite well blended. Not really a Gourmand but has the nuances of a gourmand fragrance and it is sweet but not in a sickly way. Interestingly and unfortunately on my skin, I have been unimpressed with the performance. Wearing something sprayed from Matiere Premiere on one and this Bond on the other, I needed to make a concious effort to smell Gold St after 3+ hours. Gold St is not worth the $490usd retail price given the slightly below average performance/longevity..but the scent is wonderful.

This here could very well be bond's best drop of all. I've gotten 2 holiday luxe packs from them from buying off their website (tribeca and New York Nights) and unfortunately only had one sample of this, but i've gotta say this here could very well be better than greenwich village. It blends so well on my skin, and it ends up smelling like this sort of sugar cookie or something, honestly there aren't many fragrances at all that smell this unique and amazing. You could genuinely smell this thing on you all day and never get tired of it. It's not cloying at all like new york nights. And honestly if i get the money i will commit to a full bottle

This is BEAUTIFUL. I’d say I have a pretty large collection and I’d buy this 100%. It’s such a nostalgic smell for me - the leather mixed with the gourmand aspects but it’s not an edible gourmand. It smells exactly like a department store I use to go to as a small child in Taiwan. I almost teared up bc the memory it brought back was so strong

This scent is amazing. It smells like a vanilla dessert. I don't know if it can be worn in warm weather but it is something sweet and sexy. A must buy!

Fist impression: Good scent with a nice looking bottle (I posted a photo above) I've been waiting for this one because they brought the note of blueberry back which was previously only utilized in Bleeker Street. 🫐 The blueberry note I'm happy to say smells great! It doesn't stand out or make it a blueberry fragrance per se, I'm just happy to see the note. Beyond that it's iris, leather, and musk, with a tastefully done, slightly saliferous caramel touch. It gives it a gourmand nuance without going all the way there, thanks to the musk and leather. Decent performance on my skin but not quite as good as some other niche I tried on skin over the weekend. I think this is a strong showing after the disappointment (to me) release of Bond Number One. Gold Street will appeal to both casual, and more experienced noses. Anyway, I like Gold Street, and everyone I spoke with at the release weekend (people who I know don't like Bond) though it was surprisingly good. -----------‐--‐------------------------‐--‐-------------- Scent 79/100 Performance 80/100

The opening is a sweet leather. A fragrance that reveals itself immediately. Towards the middle it softens and becomes salty vanilla. At this point, some noses may find this scent cloying because while it is hard to imagine a leather that is both sweet and salty, it is even harder to smell. After the challenging middle phase passes, the scent starts to smell of soft sweet leather and a slight powdery softness provided by iris and ambrette, but the sweet-salty note is still noticeable. The opening is reminiscent of sweet-leather fragrances (like Silky Woods) but drydown is unique. The diffusion of the scent in the air is very good, even a tiny puff fills the room. Overall, I like it. Suitable for cold weather.

ok so I managed to hustle a sample from the Bloomingdale's rep being that it isnt actually in stock at stores yet..on the initial blast the caramel is apparent, a nice airy caramel which contributes to this whimsical feel that this fragrance exudes..the suede & leather notes are also clearly detectable as well as the..blueberry YESSSS!! but I would have been struggling to put my finger on it prior to reading the note breakdown..unisex for sure but more masculine leaning..off my skin this is a real rebel Casanova love potion somebody better contact Commissioner Gordon, it's time to send up the bat signal.

I'm getting popcorn....or a buttery note when I first spray. Then it settles into what I'm assuming is the DNA of this house, because it smells very similar to Chinatown, the only Bond 9 I had smelled prior to this one. It's realllllllllly good. Complex, somewhat gourmand, somewhat spicy, somewhat musky.

This is a nice fragrance that starts off very sweet and vanilla with a waxy/leathery note to it and some subtle leather and floral vibes, Then it calms down into a caramel and vanilla gourmand vibe with subtle amber notes. It feels similar to Number One except this takes a more gourmand route and not so floral. Also not great longevity from what I could tell. A little overpriced I’d say. I’m a huge bond no 9 fan but there’s better similar frags for cheaper as well.

Had a chance to go by the boutique down on Bond St in NYC, and thanks to Stefen over there who gave me one heck of a sneak preview, I actually were able to walk away saying to myself this one actually catches me faster than the last 3 releases. Due to the French leather opening which I immediately thought of Memo Paris upon hearing the note, the fruit and fudge notes of the Blueberry and Jasmine vibes definitely took me down an memory instantly. Upon spraying on my the card, throughout the day, the Caramel/Iris type of vibe and by the next day when I realize I placed the card in my glasses case, I had to smell for a final time and said I were definitely sold by the final dry down. This is definitely worth checking out for a sample. Which now I will be returning there to get mines before my final thoughts on full bottle.

This is a nice release. Smelling it close is good, but can get played out upon further review. The notes can be a bit clashy when you try to wrap your head around what it is you’re smelling. In the air, it smells like a private party at Silicon Valley. It has that blue, gold button, blazer with white pants and the suede men’s version of espadrilles kind of vibe. I definitely think it’s more of a Spring and situational-Summer scent. Though, year round would work. Just not a signature; it would just come across as pretentious. Special occasions and weekends, only. Of course, my two cents...

Don’t smell like Babycat. Nothing like it. I have it & my good friend who works with me & goes to church with me owns it too. He put me on Babycat. He agrees it doesn’t smell like Babycat. It’s unique to me. Nothing in my collection smells like it. Longevity is good.

Up close it smells like Kettle corn + Sweaty feet + vanilla & smooth leather notes. In the air it smells like buttery caramel-vanilla, flowers and leather. Soft and elegant. I'd give it an 8/10
