New Bond St.

This is so beautiful. When you first put it on you may feel this leans a bit feminine. However, give it about 10-15mins and this is when the fragrance will reveal it's true unisex profile. In fact, I believe this works even better for men than women. Not that it leans more masculine, but in the sense of someone smelling this on a woman may short shrift it as just another woman wearing a pretty perfume. Whereas, the person smelling this on a guy may double back, analyzing the smell more and instantly become intoxicated by the juxtaposition of the scent and the wearer. Especially if you're a sharp dressing gent. Altho this is a fun scent, it's very versatile. You can wear it out for dinner, date night, upscale clubbing, Winter, Fall, Spring, daytime, evenings...I just wouldn't wear it to work and I wouldn't wear it in the Summer. That's just me. This scent is suppose evoke intrigue. Make people inhale as it hits their nose; DRAW them in as they find out it's you. BUT, a little goes a long way. If you drench yourself in this, safe for going clubbing, you will noticably see people trying to scout out the person to move AWAY from. And it LASTS! The house of Bond have really beautiful scents that's not always going to be obvious loves from the beginning because your nose may not have a reference for what it is you're smelling. Like, if you smell a blue scent the reference is clear (e.g. shower gel, soap, axe body spray, etc..) and whether it's generic or not, it's going to "smell good" to the majority from the first whiff. But in the case of unique scents, it takes time for you to resolve if it's good or bad because you have no reference. Reference is everything. If that makes sense. Until the next inspiration!

I FOUND BOND NO 9 NEW BOND ST. AT TJ MAXX YESTERDAY!!! Sorry for the caps, but it's pretty exciting! I had never seen a high end niche fragrance like that at a rack store, but I had never been to that TJ Maxx yet. I went to Ulta before that, and then to TJ Maxx, and back to Ulta to ask the people working there if they had tried that Bond No 9 fragrance, and they hadn't even heard of Bond No 9. I already had their sample pack, so it wasn't a complete blind buy. I looked it up online, and it seemed like a good scent. I love gourmands. I was wary, because it wasn't one of the samples that I had tried, and also they had it in the feminine fragrance case. I ran back over to TJ Maxx and pressed the button to call someone to help me, and I bought it. I opened it right after I got out the doors, and the only complaint I have is that the cap is busted. But the box has the paperwork to sign up for their special club or whatever, so it's not a tester bottle or anything. It feels like it's full. I like the scent. It's sweet, but subtle, with a strong initial milk chocolate scent, that dries down to vanilla and some floral aromas too. I'm happy with this purchase so far.

THIS IS SO GOOD! New Bond St is definitely slept on. Im a big fan of Nomad and NY Nights and this one is right up there with them. Cozy, warm, cocoa-y, nutty & toasty. Freshly baked bread & cookies. Smells like you work at a bakery and that scent is just clinging to your clothes. Its savory & sweet but not "cupcake sweet" - its an airy, unisex sweet. PERFECT scent for fall or winter. Absolutely delicious. Hot cocoa by a crackling fireplace. I dont get Cocopuffs reference AT ALL - Cocopuffs are a sticky, artificial & fake chocolate smell. New Bond is definitely not that. I am an absolute SUCKER for a good lactonic or nutty gourmand and this just checks allll my boxes. It smells like a big warm hug. I got a 2ml sample and used her up in 2 days flat. Full bottle ordered immediately! I spray it before bed and wake up to my whole bed smelling like a fresh bakery. It lasts FOREVER and really clings to clothes and fabric. Although she is eternal, shes not quite *beast mode* because the scent itself is meant to be airy and ethereal. This would be very office safe. Run dont walk for New Bond St! So underrated! One of the best frags Ive ever smelled!

This is like wearing cookies and milk...reminds me of Comptoir Sud Pacifique's Amour de Cacao..I really like this perfume, although the sillage isn't there, it sits n stays close to the skin and requires reapplication every few hours. At first I was disappointed, as this was a very expensive blind buy. But, went back to it yesterday and was really enjoying it. Would I buy this again? I'm on the fence about it, but am liking it for right now. NOTE- like I said, this is a perfume you will have to reapply, and the sillage is not really there. Great to wear for yourself or in a situation where you will be up close and personal with someone, as you won't overpower them with your scent, you will just smell good enough to eat. It has a nice lingering on clothes...smelled it the next morning. EDIT- I may buy this again after all. 🙂First time I wore this out, I was complimented and asked what perfume I was wearing because it smelled so good..like a warm Nutella sandwich or a chocolate chip cookie. By a man, no less.

I absolutely love it. The first thing that came to mind when I smelled this perfume was that it was like I was wrapping myself up in some sort of cardamom ice cream or something. Unlike a lot of the perfumes that delve into the realm of sweet things, though, New Bond is neither a sugar cookie nor a toasty caramel-- it's rather a spicy flavor that is grounded by earthy and nutty flavors like chocolate and vanilla. The cardamom is perhaps just something I'm perceiving because of the similarity in the various terpenes that overlap between the different spices and scents. Bergamot and lily of the valley, though, are the only two notes that are more purely floral rather than earthy, and these add some brightness and depth. It's got a powerful sillage, even though it isn't super long-lived.

Absolutely beautiful!! Definitely in my top five fragrances & is borderline about to become my signature scent! I was very very sad when Bond No9 ILNY for All was discontinued. But then they released this which smells just like it!!! All hope in humanity was restored haha. After reading comparison reviews here, I bought a few bottles. I am enamored by that gourmand, confection blend with that beautiful hint of nuttiness! The marriage between these notes make for a creamy, loving & memorable scent. I agree with the reviewers that it kinda smells like CoCo Puff Cereal. ❤️ All the better for me. I like smelling like desserts. Long lasting, brilliant projection, & a magnet for compliments! I wear this all year round lol. Definitely recommend.

I see this divides opinion. On me it's wonderful - a milky cardamom and chocolate drink, as sweet as honey and anchored by an earthy patchouli. The chestnut note reads as cardamom on my skin, and that's fine with me. Whilst it's sweet, the pepper is very apparent too. To me it's reminiscent of two fragrances - Cadjmere by Pierre Guillaume and a long lost love of parfumistas everywhere, Le feu d'issey. On the latter, the bottle being red makes more sense with the that noughties' perfume in mind, though I can't say I feel strongly the design suits the scent. It deserves a gold bottle, or maybe cream and gold. Absolutely spellbinding.

It kind of smells like replica by the fireplace but this one is more exciting to wear. I like replica especially in winter, but after smelling this one, replica smells so flat. I do not know if it just my nose because nobody mentions, but it got boozy feel like rum or something. It is creamy, nutty, sweet in the opening but calms down in the mid. It is a gourmand fragrance. It is not my top choice fragrance but it could be top choice for the right occasion. I will test drive it during skiing vacation and see how it does. I get like 8-10 hours longevity but it projects heavy in the first 2 hours and sileage is also very good.

I loved this the first time I spritzed it at the counter. My Significant Other did not. But I kept thinking about it and a bottle came to my attention and I had to have it. I still love this. The chestnut and cacao make a lactic sort of scent that lingers like vanilla milk. It doesn’t remind me of other Bond No 9 but I don’t have the I <3 NY for Everyone so I can’t compare to that. I see why people compare it to New Haarlem and I love that scent but the coffee is totally different in that to me. So happy to have this!

This scent makes me feel so cozy, Like I’m next to a fireplace drinking hot coco with my loved one. It is definitely a fragrance that I would only wear in colder months. It’s warm, a little spicy, nutty gourmand. I’d say anyone over 25 could rock this. This is either a love or hate fragrance. My husband and I adore this fragrance BUT if sprayed too much it can be cloying. I’m wearing this while there’s a snow storm here and it fits so perfectly. I wouldn’t wear it in fall, only winter ❄️

I dont get why people hate on this. Smelling it out the cap, and the first minute of spraying it on does smell overly synthetic I will give it to them, but it does not smell like “vomit” or “BO” at all. After it starts to settle, it becomes this amazing gourmand cocoa covered chestnut combo with a hint of sweet vanilla. Performance is good, lasts a solid 8 hours with average projection. Overhated and underrated. 8.5/10

OMG..... THIS IS SO SEXY. It's sweet but a scent that is truly unisex to me, similar to the unisex sweetness that's in Kilian's Angel's share, and it is better than Angel's share. I'm a woman and I would wear this! And sorry to be vulgar but this make me want to take my lovers underpants off with my teeth! Never tried anything like it. All the notes are exactly what I smell. So so sexy.

Imagine sitting by the fireplace on a cold day sipping on hot cocoa with marsh mellows in a cozy sweater. This the feeling I get when I spray this on. It makes me feel cozy and reminds me of comfortable days at home when it's cold outside. The cacao and chestnut are definitely very prominent notes. I think the blend of notes work together perfectly.

Great gourmand. Gives me cozy but sexy vibes. Lily of the valley saves this from being cloyingly sweet. Sweet and creamy, sexy & delectable. Go easy because the sillage and longevity are 💥💥. A little does go a long way. I have ILNYFA and they smell almost identical. So getting both would be redundant.

Tried this one today and love it. This is very gourmand for sure. I think it is similar to Jo Malone Honey Crocus on paper but need to do a skin test. I do think the price is a little high but that is Bond. I get chestnut creamy and chocolate with a milky vibe.

I have to add more. This is my all time favorite cool weather fragrance! I’ve worn all of my others within a few weeks just to decide for certain how much I love it and the verdict is just that. I’ve fallen in love.

I absolutely love this one. To me, it's like a spicier version of By The Fireplace and lasts a lot longer. I smell so delicious right now!

After I have worn this a few times I don’t get the Jo Malone but do smell that pepper milk thing in Le Feu d’Issey..... good call.

Bought 4x1.7ml samples for $10. VERY milky, in a good way. Great chestnut note. Spicy on the warm down. 7/10

Full Disclaimer -- I am not a huge fan of Bond No 9 & a majority of their fragrances, but I actually like this one. Personally, I don't get all the negative reviews. New Bond St is slightly lactonic, nutty, & chocolatey goodness. Probably not as loud as their other rich gourmands such as Tribeca, NY Nights, & Chelsea Nights, but louder doesn't necessarily mean better. I really like the lily in this fragrance because it gives a touch of white florals without going in a heady direction. I totally get the comparison to Trussardi Passegiata, but I like this much much more. Trussardi's was too screechy for me. New Bond St is more well-rounded overall. I think it's FB worthy for me; I also love the loud bottle design lol, something Bond seems to excel at.

The reviews on this one crack me up. It's definitely not for everyone. I tried it last year and it gave me serious milk vibes, like when a bit of milk dries on a baby's face (weird, I know, but that was my immediate impression). I came back to it this year and now I get the cozy chestnut more than anything but it does sit right on the edge of being too much. It's nutty and warm but just a millimeter from being sourish. A firm like for me! Edit to add: the longevity on this is excellent. I'm at about 12 hours and I'm still getting wafts. And I'm also still getting milk, along with the cheerios others have mentioned. This is cheerio milk in the deep dry down and I'm still here for it!

This reminds me of something Serge Lutens would create. I get vibes of SL Arabie "type" scent...to my nose. This one has to develop on your skin...with your chemistry. Patience...was required. It starts off with a tad of "sourness" on me....then that changes....and the dry down is when it reminds me of Arabie with a little Chergui thrown in.....???...Still trying to figure this one out..lol. This is not for everyone....IMO. But, I find this a more "unique" fragrance....and one you have to understand. Unisex,but leans masculine. So far, this is a "like".....with further exploration needed.

Wow what a scent this is, straight away it reminds of a bowl of Cocoa Puffs and ice cold milk. It begins with dark and heavy cocoa notes with slight nuttiness with a sweet vanilla and floral note that smooths things out. After that the powdery and lactonic parts show a little. Then finally I get some subtle “dirty” and cannabis hints which I assume is the patchouli but in a good way. This seems like a mature and niche version of axe dark temptation. Super longevity and staying power perfect for winter and cold weather. I don’t get much pepper or bergamot though. I like it.

This one reminds me of I love New York, but without the heavy~ish leather note. I like them both, ILNY being discontinued makes this one a keeper for me. I'm not a super fan of chocolate in perfumes but it doesn't go overboard here. It is sweet, not sure why they didn't list it in the accords, but it can definitely be worn by anyone. It's not a scent I'll reach for often, but it scratches an itch when your in the mood. Kind of like Dior's Feve. I like Guerlains Tonka Imperiale better, but sometimes you want a little less class and more pomp.

I found a good deal and ordered from Marshalls as a blind buy. But I always trust Fragrantica reviews so I was sure it’s gonna be my love. I was expecting really woody and heavy perfume but when I first spray it gives me balsamic vibes only. It reminds me of Dior Addict. It’s been 15 min to spray and it’s getting more and more like Addict. But this one is more fresh. Nothing woody for me.

This is much sweeter and more cloying chocolate than I ❤️ NY for All. The chestnut is more prominent with this one, and ILNFA for All is more dusty/powdery. But they're very close, as this was inspired by it. I prefer I prefer ILNFA as it's much less sweet imo. New Bond Street is a chocolate bomb on my skin. Easy on the trigger with this one. Scent 6/10 Performance 7/10

By the Fireplace + Patchouli-lots of patchouli. Dries down to shay & blue's Salt Caramel. It's a bit of a mish-mash and I like it well enough, but it's overpriced for what it is. Could be a bit of a headache for some too.

Sweet and spicy, mildly bitter. Leans more earthy than gourmand, especially in warmer temperatures. Heavy dose of patchouli, true soil vibes. Hippy coffee shop delight.

Smells like Whoppers candies on my skin. Malted milk with some chocolate. Not super sweet. Very interesting. Somewhat unique.

Editing my original review: I'm looking to expand my vanilla-centric, vanilla-heavy gourmand favorites. I've tried a few "gourmand" fragrances with almond, toffee, hazelnuts, etc. I LOVE Xerjoff Italica. I had Nicolai Parfumeur Saint Honore, which became overwhelming to me after some time. I've tried other "nuttier" gourmand options (hazelnut, almond, sesame, caramel, coffee, cacao, etc) but these prove too sweet and cloying to my nose. I originally felt New Bond Street was a nice perfume. Definitely more suitable for men versus women. I "think" I'd almost rather smell this on a man. But, after living with and wearing this perfume for a while, I've concluded the perfume is just not my style. On my skin, there is a persistent sour note that I cannot get past. I think the sour note is the combination of roasted (burnt) chestnut, black pepper and leatherwood. So, I suppose this is a gourmand fragrance. However, the blending of notes like pepper, lily-of-the-valley, leatherwood and patchouli pull this fragrance in a semi-gourmand direction, IMHO. The opening is full-on, floral, citrus and LOTS of spicy, black pepper. However, within minutes a slightly roasted chestnut note rises, along with back-notes of black coffee, sandalwood and patchouli. The base and dry down emerge with the continuation of sandalwood and patchouli plus vanilla. New Bond Street is a thick, dense, full-bodied, extremely dry fragrance with exceptionally well-balanced and well-blended notes. As the perfume wears, I detect ALL the notes as each one plays off the other. And the application feels real, like the perfume will linger around on my body and on my clothing for a bit. I'd say silage is low-to-moderate. But after wearing this fragrance for several days and trying a few different "chestnut" based perfumes, I've concluded roasted chestnut is just not a note I enjoy in perfumes. Sadly, this perfume is going on the back shelf.

I must admit, when I first received my bottle and sprayed it i was confused. I was expecting a sweeter scent due to the presence of cacao, coffee and hazelnut. There is barely any sweetness, but there is the white floral and chestnut that adds creaminess and prevents it from being "dry". I hate patchouli but it is non detectable here. I dont mind it when paired with other earthy notes anyways. Bottom line is, my nose was not prepared and i had written a bad review bashing this that i have deleted but i actually really love this now. Amazing how that works!

This smells like Loubirouge, Minuit et Demi, and Changing Constance. Spicy Vanilla but this one has a hint of chestnut but not in a sweet way. I thought I would love this but I actually not in love with it as I am with NY Nights, Tribeca, and Greenwich. This does not smell like Montal Chocolate Greedy at all. I realized that I do not gravitate towards spicy fragrances so I have to stop buying them. If you enjoy the three fragrances I mentioned above you will enjoy this one. And yes, reviews here are right, this does not remind me of New York.

Smells like an earthy, woody bowl of Cocoa Pebbles with the sweetness dialed back a little bit. Seriously, these other people saying it smells like cereal are spot on. Never really gave it much of a chance to test longevity/sillage because I never really want to smell like a walking bowl of chocolate cereal with wooden legs covered in dirt. I love gourmand elements in fragrances (coffee, red apple, vanilla) but I don't find the smell of literal food the most appealing thing to wear as fragrance.

I get a sweetened biscuit. There is something bread-like about it and it is different and interesting and kind of like a dry woody-gourmand, but only minimal sweetness.. So that's why I say biscuit instead of cake. The sweetness is tamed way down but it remains that kind of biscuit food quality. It's addicting in a weird way to me and I want to buy a full-size bottle.

It is really not for me. It’s definitely feminine leaning for a unisex fragrance. Reminds me of the milk that’s left over in a bowl of cocoa pebbles but not in an overly gourmand way. I wish there was a bit more spice to go along with the cocoa and coffee

The review that said this smells like Cheerios is spot on, except I’d rather smell Cheerios instead of this. I went off the notes on this fragrance and blind bought it. Sold it after a week.

Started off as chestnut and cocoa, nice albeit weak scent. Ended with plasticky scent that wasn’t too pleasant.

This is a bold winter beast mode fragrance. It's a spicy complex fragrance. It's ok. I will not purchase again.

Tried a few bond 9s i was never been impressed by this house to begin with, plus most of the releases are very overpriced, and this is no exception. I tried this today first impression was milky, chocolatey, foody. I didn’t detect any coffee??. A gourmand scent for sure that is leaning towards the female side. That milky vibe is very much prominent from start to finish (chestnut maybe??). Overall nothing special in my opinion, if you want chocolate there are more better alternatives than this, reason being is the price more than 400 for this thing count me out.

There’s something strange about this that I can’t quite put my finger on. Is it a balsamic note? Is it the strange presentation of pepper, leading to this perfume being classified as warm spicy? I can kind of see the cocopops resemblance. I can also see a slight resemblance to Trussardi’s Passeggiata (which is fantastic by the way, and New Bond St pales in comparison). If I squint when I sniff, I can almost smell the residue left on your fingers after taking certain vitamin tablets. B-vitamins perhaps. Aha, smells slightly like Berocca! Overall, smells crappy.

I sprayed this on my wrist and and oh boy is it unique, which is partially the reason why some people are rating this higher than it should be. The first whiff I took of this i felt like throwing up, not cuz it smells bad but it literally made me nauseous. super gourmand and sweet smelling like a bunch of desserts that I can’t put my finger on. An Unbelievably nauseating scent I don’t understand why someone would want to smell like this but that’s just my opinion, gourmand fragrances aren’t my first choice anyways.

Criminally overpriced is right. While the bottle looks nice in the picture, in real life the quality of the bottle is not up to my expectations. Especially not for a brand that costs as much. I'm not personally impressed by the generic blend of the juice either. There is nothing "new" about the New Bond, for sure. Not a nose curler, but not worthy of distinction either.

As supporter of the brand, I really wanted to love this one, but the blind buy was a disaster on my nose/skin. An awful feeling of spoiled milk/ vomit that is still haunting me. Not of the same idea a friend that loved so much (mystery of perfumery and chemistry!) and I promptly suggested a swap!!! My final suggestion: not a blind buy

Sprayed this on my wrist in the Bond store during a NYC Fragrance Store Hopping trip last February. Its too strong. Very nice at first but it just persists...I ended up leaving the store as nothing in Bond No.9 was my style. Beware, if you spray this you will be smelling it Until 2 showers later.

There is something about this scent that fills the back of my throat in a NOT so good way. I don’t get the chocolate cereal at all. Instead I get an earthy coco with pepper. Not for me.

I tried this last night and didn't like it at all. I caught a whiff of chocolate and the whole was rather dry and sweet. Not for me.

If they made a fragrance for Flintstone vitamins, this would be it. Smells like the inside of the orange medicine bottles
