Chatgptye gece ile ilgili parfüm önerisi sorduğumda ilk birinci sırada bu parfüm vardı. biraz reklam olarak düşündüm. ve araştırmaya başladım. Aşırı tatlı iğrenç bir çikolata temalı bir parfümdür ya dedim. bu şekilde düşündüm ve o zaman hiç koklamadım ve üzerine hiç düşünmedim. olay hiçbir şekilde böyle kalmamalıydı. Ve gelelim asıl konuya. Bakalım burnum bu parfüm için size neler anlatacak. İlk püskürtme ile direkt anında kokusu burnuma geldi. Anında bu ne demeye başladım. Kirli, vahşi, acı , pütürlü bir yapısı var olan bir sıvı ile karşılaştım. .Çikolata parfümlerine karşı tabularımı yıktı. Mükemmel bir şaheser ile karşı karşıyaydım. Hikayesi olan , bize bizlere izah etmek istediği konuları var olan bir parfüm. Genel beğeniye çok açık, tam bir niche parfüm ve oldukça ilginç bir taban arayüzü var. Genel olarak düşüncelerimide ifade ettiğime göre asıl gelelim hikayeye. 27 yaşında hafif kirli sakallı uzun boylu esmer bir beyefendisiniz. Dedenizden kalma bir yalınız var. Bu dedeniz vefat etmiş ve yalı sizin üzerinize kalmış. Bu genç adam bu yalıya ziyaret etmeye gidiyor. Bütün evi geziyor, gizli bir geçişin var olduğunu görüp , alt kata iniyor. Tozlu ve karanlık bir oda. Savaştan Sığınma odası gibi bir yer. Burada tozlanmış bir ceket kirli bir ceket var. Deri değil, merak etmeyin. Ama kesinlikle kış ile alakalı bir palto. Bu kokuya bürünmelisiniz. Gece vakti karanlık bir çikolata kokusudur. Kirli, rende gibi keskin . parçalı parçalı , ayrı ayrı hissettiriyor. Fakat hepsi bir bütün. Mükemmel akıcılık. (Bu parfümü yapan en önemli unsur ''bitter acılığı'' hissini burna güzel bir şekilde sunuyor. Bu bir şaheser fakat kendime yakıştırdığım bir koku değil. 10/9.4

WOW, this a dark fragrance that's still very much gourmand, it's so dark that it's kind of... unsettling? If that makes sense, the dark chocolate, coffee and Rum in this are so unapologetically dark and foreboding, it's quite an enigma in my opinion, definitely an acquired taste as people seem to either really love this or Really hate it, it took me a few wearings to come around and fully understand the notes, and I can definitely say this is a love, but by all means I can see why/how someone would really dislike this The sweetness doesn't particularly come off as the "designer" kind of sweetness, it's more like something to contrast at how pitch black this fragrance is, its definitely there, but it's very subtle and only really becomes a mainstay really far into the drydown, it stays dark for like 80% of the fragrances lifetime. Longevity on my skin is quite good with it still being pretty detectable 7 hours later, albeit a lot more of a skin-scent, on my skin it has medium-strong projection for the first 4ish hours, with it slowly dying down over the next hour into a medium-light projecting skin scent, this is definitely a formal leaning fragrance but I guess it could be dressed down too, just be warned this the epitome of a polarising scent, it wont be mass appealing at all for a large crowd of people, you have been warned, that goes without saying that this is probably the riskiest blind buy (which i don't recommend, especially give prices of By Kilian frags), from the brand you could do due to its polarising nature. Final Verdict is a 9/10, i definitely warmed up to it, definitely worth a try, even if you dislike it due to how unique of a purely dark fragrance it is.

Still, my favorite By Kilian, tied with STH Extreme. Smells like vengeance — served in a crystal glass, on fire.

I don’t think people know what this scent is supposed to be. The name is “Black Phantom”, it’s supposed to be this very dark and mysterious scent. It’s known for having a “cyanide” accord which is the heliotrope and almond, since cyanide is known to smell like bitter almond. The hate for this, I’ve seen, comes from a LOT of misinformation from recommendations or what people have said. Someone talked about tobacco? Someone talked about reheated coffee? This is a pure gourmand, nothing more, nothing less. The best I can describe it is an almond covered in chocolate and caramel, soaked in rum spiked coffee. The main players here are chocolate, rum, and almond. The rest are in the background. If you go into this wanting a coffee dominant scent, you’re gonna be disappointed. If you’re going into this wanting a purely wood based scent, you’re gonna be disappointed. Go into this wanting a VERY sweet, VERY boozy, and VERY dense scent. If those 3 are what you’re looking for, then it’s a home run. It’s very sweet, cloyingly sweet, but in the best way possible. It envelopes you in a warm yet mysterious darkness of rum and chocolate with a creaminess of almond and caramel. The rum gives it a semi-masculine touch alongside e sandalwood. The almond gives a nice sharpness and oily vibe in the background. I have no idea how people say this smells like “an old man”, like “tobacco”, or like “a moldy house”. To me this smells like caramel and rum filled chocolate truffles. You can literally buy them at like Aldi. Eat one, breathe out, and that’s exactly what Black Phantom smells like. The epitome of a gourmand.

I love love how this smells, it starts of with a strong almond "cyanide" for me, it slowly fades & turns into the coffee-dark chocolate scent which sticks all the way until the end. It gets creamier & sweeter as it goes on and loses the bitterness over time, gaining powdery notes & ending with a sweeter smell that I'd describe as "marshmallows on a dark hot chocolate". I'd say a bit masculine-leaning unisex. UPDATE: Now after nearly a month with this perfume, I've picked up that on fabric it projects this amazing masculine scent from a distance that is rather "cool"-scented oddly enough, in contrast with the intended warm gourmand scent of it on skin. I get wafts of it from the coat rack, and it adds a new dimension to this. The downside seems to be the projection. When I got mine I was given 1.5ml samples of Smoking Hot & Angels' Share, and gave the latter to my friend. He wore it the next day and he was trailing like crazy, meanwhile I barely get any sillage. I don't know whether that's a good or bad thing considering how hit-or-miss this scent is, but if I'm paying for a $300 perfume I'd expect better. On the other hand longevity is decent, 6hrs-ish on skin. The anthropomorphized I have in my head for this is a well-dressed person in all black, bitter and polarizing at first but mellows out once you get to know them. The more I wear this the more I love it.
