New York Chic

I have a few Bond No 9 fragrances and this is not only one of the most unique in my collection but also the most unique out of the many samples I was given with my purchase in NYC. Absolute banger of a fragrance. Projects quite well so go easy on the trigger but it completely unisex where no particular note is overpowering including the tobacco. I tried Quattro Pizzi just around the corner at a nearby store and I can say NY Chic not only projects way more but is imo a very different fragrance.

I have the sampler from this, this will be in my top 5 as soon as I purchase a full bottle. This is absolutely delectable and I have been told I smell delicious while wearing the sampler. Very good fall/winter fragrance, could see it in spring or summer but goes well with the holiday aesthetic I feel

opens with very creamy, sweet honey and white floral notes with plenty of vanilla, then after a few you get the green leafy notes and earthy tobacco vibes coming through. I get the boozy cognac ever so slightly wafting occasionally and maybe a hint of woodyness which is a great touch. Leans feminine and is blended nicely with good performance. Not necessarily my cup of tea but it is a great scent. Stays pretty sweet throughout the day. As far as Oud goes I’m not getting much and the tobacco is present however not a main player.

This is really unique one among the other no9 Bond perfumes. Made me remember Amouga Gold. Powdery but there is earthy green note present. I was impressed each time I sprayed until it drys down and curry like herbal spicy fenu greek notes kicks in. I am picking up on the most complex facet of this Davana and Immortel molecular profile. Herbal spicy dry-savory territory is entirely different than how it smells at the opening. After couple of trying I am sure that Chic is not for me.

This is a very unique perfume! Something I can’t compare with anything and hard to describe. I was very surprised when I first tried it on. It’s very different than any other Bond No. 9 perfumes. I find it unisex, leaning more feminine. I’m not sure I would like to purchase this perfume but I would wear it sometimes when I want to stand out of crowd and smell like NO ONE ELSE.

Extremely sweet and projects strong. Don't get nearly as much tobacco as I do vanilla. Definitely not for me.

Allergenic. Sniffed this is a dept. store today. Sneeze fest. Whatever they are using for their tobacco note, it's the same chemical that is in real cigarettes which I'm also allergic to. Maybe it's real tobacco.

Smells almost one for one of Quattro Pizzi. I smelled it, thought, smelled again, thought... It just smelled so familiar. Finally, 10mins before writing this, it hit me. I looked up Quattro Pizzi and, sure enough, they share a LOT of the same notes. If not all lol The only preliminary take i can offer is Quattro Pizzi smells better quality. I couldn’t get a sample of it due to them not having any in stock, but i have a sample of Quattro Pizzi and as soon as i get home i will be pulling it out.

I feel that this is beautiful fragrance. I enjoy the fresh opening .......and the tobacco note, however, It dissipated so quickly, that I had a reluctance to purchase. I already own minuet et demi and some other same genres, I loved the scent but was very disappointed with the silage.

If this had a dark, bitter, splash of a roasted coffee bean accord to mitigate that sweetness and to add denseness, this may have been VERY good. Alas, I’m no perfumer and what I’m suggesting may very well end up smelling bad...

i am hoping that my inability to add it to my "for test" is fragrantica muting all reviews and ratings before the actual release so that trolls stop down/upvoting fragrances before their actual date of release

This is probably the second bottle of bond to feature tobacco in it if im not mistaken. This looks great but im hoping the heliotrope doesn't ruin it
