Jasmine Freak

The opening of Jasmine Freak is to die for, no kidding! I don’t know how a scent could be so addictive, but I can’t stop sniffing my wrist, it’s so mesmerising... Sweet, warm, fruity, almost candied jasmine, tuberose and ylang ylang, what’s not to love about this?? The combination of tropical&white florals with mango, citrus and black currants smells so refreshing, juicy and delicious. I particularly like the blend of mango with ylang ylang, I feel like these notes are the stand out of this perfume. And some of my personal favourite for warm weather fragrances. After testing some of Room1015 newer releases, I didn’t believe that they could launch something better than Cherry Punk Extrait, until I smelled Jasmine Freak. For me, this perfume is spectacular. It’s divine! It’s different, while being a white floral! During spring and summer time this year, Jasmine Freak is all I want to wear! My next purchase will be this! Edit 10.03.25 I purchased a full bottle of this beauty.

I'll preface by stating: I'm not a fan of strong "fruity, fizzy" openings. The MANGO note in Jasmine Freak initially scared me off. And I am officially ADDICTED to this stuff. THIS perfume is really really nice. I'm surprised at how much I love this fragrance! So, citrus and mango notes are clearly notable in the opening, as is pepper. But characteristic of many fruity openings, the fruit notes quickly pass. Jasmine emerges, as does a bit of tuberose and ylang-ylang. This perfume definitely wears as a jasmine forward, mixed floral fragrance with a musky backbone. I do not find this fragrance particularly tropical (thankfully). I'm surprised at how much I love the way jasmine interplays with mango and other fruity notes. Just wish the duration was greater, as I find myself frequently reapplying throughout the day to maintain a level of fragrance I prefer. Not understanding how folks can say there is little, or zero detectable jasmine in this fragrance. Love it!

I like this fragrance but it isn’t what I expected it to be. Jasmine Freak opens with a very juicy tropical fruit mix, which remains throughout the life of the fragrance. I don’t really detect any florals. I was really expecting to have the juicy tropical fruits mixed with a warm, comforting and powerful jasmine note. I really can’t smell the jasmine or tuberose, which I’m a little disappointed at to be honest. Even in the dry down, I’m struggling to pick up any florals. It’s a strong like but not a love. It just isn't what I thought I was buying. It is a fun, uplifting, positive scent and I will still enjoy wearing this. If I’d tested this instead of blind buying it, I might not have bought it at all. I’ll give my bottle a week to settle and recover from the shock of shipping. and test it again. I’ll update my review if my opinion changes.

This is a beautiful jasmine-forward scent. Sweet and heady, but in a good way (and I'm not usually a fan of white florals). Feels like a tropical summer night and performs in heat and humidity. This is one I do overspray, so I have the 100ml. Projection is on the lower side of moderate and longevity could be a lot better. But when I catch a whiff of myself while I'm walking babyyyyyyy. This is a confidence booster, compliment magnet, head-turner. All the things I want from a summer fragrance. GORGEOUS. ETA: I agree with reviewer LotsofLisa76 that this will conjure up memories of a drink! First time I smelled this it brought me back to a rooftop bar I visited in Panama City. We had gorgeous views, not a cloud in the sky, and the bartender's full attention. It's a really lovely scent that brings me back to that day every time I wear it.

This is so addictive. Juicy blast of mango right at the top that lingers throughout, then comes the bubblegum tuberose - now I typically HATE bubblegum scents - however it’s very soft here and it is overpowered by the fruity tropical notes and the jasmine which knock that bubblegum note away as it drys down. This is beautiful, but beware you need to enjoy very sweet scents and that holiday/vacation inspired vibe. This is definitely signature scent worthy. Projection is good but not beastly, it leaves you in a gorgeous scent bubble, longevity is worldly. EDIT - Longevity not as good as I first thought. This is one you need to top up. Becomes a skin scent after 4hrs. However, its so juicy and addictive I don't care.
