Spring Fling

At first spritz I get a strong whiff of pencil shavings... yes, I get pencil shavings smell, even after my third day trying this out. But then... this is really delish and it reminds me a bit of Bond no 9 signature on the drydown, I really love Bond signature AND Shelter Island which smell exactly the same (with SI being more airy, aquatic shall I say? Signature is creamier if that makes sense!) Either way Spring Fling opens a bit obnoxious to my taste but not long after it develops into a beautiful floral scent that just makes me happy! The second time i tried it I think I oversprayed it and I smelled like a pencil/crayon case for a good while, had to scrub it off. Today I tried a small sprits on the back of my hand and it worked much better! I would buy a travel size bon bon of this but not a full bottle simply because Bond fragrances cost as much as my monthly car payments 😂 Update: this is my new favorite scent (for the moment!!) When Spring Fling’s woodsy note relaxes a bit, 20 or so minutes after first spritz, this smells so nice to me. i I actually think the dry down is a bit of a combination of smells... I sense Nolita and like I said above, Signature and Shelter island but not super prominent, this just reminds me a bit of those fragrances!

Quintessential springtime/daytime fragrance. 🌞😊Fantastic white floral bomb with tempering amber & musk. Love, love, love the woody notes which gives it a masculine/unisex twist I favor. A compliment getter. I don't see women under 30 gravitating to this. Like with all Bonds, a little goes a long way.

I looooooove this fragrance! It is gorgeous! A fresh floral that I find very uplifting. The body silk is incredible too. I smile when I smell this. It’s THAT good!

If D&G light blue added some white florals to the mix, it would be this and I love it. Def a mature woman scent :P

The first spray, I thought I perhaps got a bad bottle. However, within five minutes the notes came through so bright and fresh! It’s just like when the buds start popping opening in early spring! (Hence the name) The white florals are blended softly and I adore the warm woody base! This does remind me of another fragrance, however I can’t put my finger on it. This is perfect for spring or summer and I’d stick to daytime personally. It’s a really nice fragrance. I wouldn’t put it in my top 10, but I like it, especially for this time of year!

Bond No. 9 Spring Fling sports a nice name, a pleasant floral blend with some fresh touches like musk and tea and a sort of faint citrus vibe, but its intrigue is limited as it's not a terribly unique or innovating offering. I smelled it briefly in store before sampling it today and is today as it was then a nice, fresh, reasonably agreeable floral-dominant option. It's nice but unremarkable, perhaps even unnecessary, but still a good enough offering that it could be a signature scent for a lady and an occasional fresh offering. 7 out of 10

It’s an ok perfume not too bad great for summer

This scent is too strong and too masculine at the first spray, and it maintains it's masculinity after the dry down. It's more appropriate as a Bond No. 9 unisex scent. So far, this is one of my least favorite scents out of my Grand Bon Bon coffret.

I expected to like this one, because it’s a floral which is one of my favorite scent profiles, and supposedly spring-like, which is my favorite season. I’ve also tried one other fragrance from Bond No. 9, Jones Beach, which I adore. Spring Fling does have floral notes, but whatever musk was used here is the kind that I find so scratchy to my nose and unpleasant, and it overpowered the floral qualities, so unfortunately I didn’t enjoy this.

One of Bond #9’s most underrated hidden gems. It’s more on the masculine side. The florals are there but whatever notes added into the mix are blended and intertwined so well that it kinda mutes the florals with a nice masculine finish. Sillage and longevity are there. I’m not sure that it smells anything like cool water which was mentioned down below. I don’t think I’ve smelt something similar to spring fling. This does not remind me of spring. To me it’s a night scent, something you can pull off on a winter night of bar hopping and clubbing. If I smelled this on someone I would most likely ask what he/she is wearing. Smells deliciously sexy. Smells like money. And its Worth the money! definitely not a safe blind buy for those who love feminine scents. Wish Bond #9 was more creative with this one and marketed as unisex. Could of easily been a top seller. Wrong name and packaging for this gem.

4/11/2020 - Herbal floral cottony scent. Super clean smelling... shampoo and shower gel experience. This is what I’d reach for if I needed to dress in a satiny ballgown. Totally a bride’s frag. Very elegant and sophisticated. Definitely a day scent - love it! Almost feel as though it’s sacrilege to wear it to work - it feels too hoity-toity for everyday. A bottle you find a pretty, crisp, lacy doily for - or its own tiny mirrored vanity tray and only spritz when you’re worthy enough to be seen as a pious angel 👼🏼 It’s so beautiful. Just a wonderful experience 💕

A well blended and vibrant perfume, and I love the spring inspired fragrances quite a lot. Not only are the notes fascinating, the bottle is my all time favorite throughout my collection

(from a magazine sample) This has an aquatic, masculine note that reminds me of Cool Water for men. There is a floral scent on top of that, but the Cool Water feel is in the forefront.

Love the name, can't believe it has not been used before. Nice purple color, 2018 is the year of purple.
