The Scent Of Peace Natural

As a fan of The Scent of Peace for Him, I had to check this one out. So, I sampled it at the mall and I really do love this one. (I think it could be unisex, but I'd say it leans slightly feminine if anything... and as a man, this scent is incredible). Anyway, the scent is incredibly clean and fresh, the cedar comes off for sure, but it stays strong yet in the background (if that makes sense). It's blended with lemon which is more hidden, but you get the sense it's there. Up front mainly is the clean fresh scent you get- I SWORE there was tea in this fragrance, but it's not listed. There's also green notes that can be detected as well. The cedar doesn't make this a woody fragrance though. Something like Bond No 9 Governors Island is cedar forward and woody and that makes it a woody fragrance. Scent of Peace Natural also has cedar, but it I wouldn't call it a woody fragrance because this one gives off an "Imagination with cedar" vibe. (Again, I swore there was tea in this fragrance and I will maintain that assumption) If you like fresh, clean fragrances, and if you like green, cedar, and tea fragrances, you'll love this one. PS- don't buy these fragrances at department stores. Nearly $500 for a bottle of this at Bloomingdale's when I see them for roughly $200 on discounters and the gray market (AUTHENTIC bottles).

It's got a Greenley-esque clean, youthful vibe. Extremely fruity from top to bottom, with light background notes of citrus and ambroxan (a note I'm not ordinarily a fan of due to its synthetic harshness sometimes, but it works in this composition exceptionally well). It's almost nostalgic - it has a certain essence that reminds me of children's shampoo. I also definitely get the comparisons to fruit soda, as it can burst with a fizz. Overall, though, it reads smooth and straighforward on my skin, with little to no development from opening to drydown. It's one of my favorite fragrances to wear on rainy, stormy summer days, because both the atmosphere and the fragrance make me reminisce my childhood. I think this might just be my favorite Bond No. 9 fresh fragrance (though I have yet to try The Scent of Peace for Him), and also the only one that, in my opinion, is perfectly and equally applicable to all genders. It's clear Bond No. 9 had sustainability and progressiveness on their minds while designing this fragrance, and ultimately, the result is a success in my eyes.

I bought this for my husband’s birthday. He needed a good freshie for this summer and this hits the mark. I’d say it pretty unisex, but I have yet to try and wear it as it was a gift for him. The smell is amazing, very fresh non synthetic opening of a lemon peel and the petitgrain. The opening actually lasts longer than expected as lemon scents tend to vanish right after first spray. The heart is a beautiful fruity rose. Fresh and not cloying. I wouldn’t say I could particularly say I smelled raspberry, but definitely a berry. The dry down leaves a beautiful musk smell that is very light. And because of this, the scent does not have the longevity of more that about two hours, a tad more in clothes, and it radiates at arms length. A great office safe hot summer day perfume. You will have to re-apply. The price wasn’t an issue as they had it at Jomashop for a very cheap.

I bought this at the beginning of the month while I was in Boston on business. I was actually looking for a green scent at the time, but a whiff of this and I was slamming cash down on the counter. I've worn it every day since. The fruit notes feel a bit jammy, but still clean and fresh. This is sweet, but not overly so. I really get a lot of the lemon and raspberry up front, though again-- it's not overdone or childish. I'm thinking the greenish notes are what keeps it elevated. As mad as people appear to be about the ambroxan, it really plays well with the leafier notes of this perfume. This is very much a late spring/early summer scent. Longevity-wise, I usually can still smell it on me the following morning. I don't regret spending at this price point for this perfume, and will certainly finish it.

So nice. I'm surprised that no one has likened this one to Angel Dust Extrait. They are very similar. Very clean and fruity with a woody dry down. Unisex but slightly fem leaning. As a guy, this is still unisex enough for me to wear, and I most certainly will be wearing it. This isn't a like- it's a love.
