The Scent Of Peace Natural

As a fan of The Scent of Peace for Him, I had to check this one out. So, I sampled it at the mall and I really do love this one. (I think it could be unisex, but I'd say it leans slightly feminine if anything... and as a man, this scent is incredible). Anyway, the scent is incredibly clean and fresh, the cedar comes off for sure, but it stays strong yet in the background (if that makes sense). It's blended with lemon which is more hidden, but you get the sense it's there. Up front mainly is the clean fresh scent you get- I SWORE there was tea in this fragrance, but it's not listed. There's also green notes that can be detected as well. The cedar doesn't make this a woody fragrance though. Something like Bond No 9 Governors Island is cedar forward and woody and that makes it a woody fragrance. Scent of Peace Natural also has cedar, but it I wouldn't call it a woody fragrance because this one gives off an "Imagination with cedar" vibe. (Again, I swore there was tea in this fragrance and I will maintain that assumption) If you like fresh, clean fragrances, and if you like green, cedar, and tea fragrances, you'll love this one. PS- don't buy these fragrances at department stores. Nearly $500 for a bottle of this at Bloomingdale's when I see them for roughly $200 on discounters and the gray market (AUTHENTIC bottles).

It's got a Greenley-esque clean, youthful vibe. Extremely fruity from top to bottom, with light background notes of citrus and ambroxan (a note I'm not ordinarily a fan of due to its synthetic harshness sometimes, but it works in this composition exceptionally well). It's almost nostalgic - it has a certain essence that reminds me of children's shampoo. I also definitely get the comparisons to fruit soda, as it can burst with a fizz. Overall, though, it reads smooth and straighforward on my skin, with little to no development from opening to drydown. It's one of my favorite fragrances to wear on rainy, stormy summer days, because both the atmosphere and the fragrance make me reminisce my childhood. I think this might just be my favorite Bond No. 9 fresh fragrance (though I have yet to try The Scent of Peace for Him), and also the only one that, in my opinion, is perfectly and equally applicable to all genders. It's clear Bond No. 9 had sustainability and progressiveness on their minds while designing this fragrance, and ultimately, the result is a success in my eyes.

I bought this for my husband’s birthday. He needed a good freshie for this summer and this hits the mark. I’d say it pretty unisex, but I have yet to try and wear it as it was a gift for him. The smell is amazing, very fresh non synthetic opening of a lemon peel and the petitgrain. The opening actually lasts longer than expected as lemon scents tend to vanish right after first spray. The heart is a beautiful fruity rose. Fresh and not cloying. I wouldn’t say I could particularly say I smelled raspberry, but definitely a berry. The dry down leaves a beautiful musk smell that is very light. And because of this, the scent does not have the longevity of more that about two hours, a tad more in clothes, and it radiates at arms length. A great office safe hot summer day perfume. You will have to re-apply. The price wasn’t an issue as they had it at Jomashop for a very cheap.

I bought this at the beginning of the month while I was in Boston on business. I was actually looking for a green scent at the time, but a whiff of this and I was slamming cash down on the counter. I've worn it every day since. The fruit notes feel a bit jammy, but still clean and fresh. This is sweet, but not overly so. I really get a lot of the lemon and raspberry up front, though again-- it's not overdone or childish. I'm thinking the greenish notes are what keeps it elevated. As mad as people appear to be about the ambroxan, it really plays well with the leafier notes of this perfume. This is very much a late spring/early summer scent. Longevity-wise, I usually can still smell it on me the following morning. I don't regret spending at this price point for this perfume, and will certainly finish it.

So nice. I'm surprised that no one has likened this one to Angel Dust Extrait. They are very similar. Very clean and fruity with a woody dry down. Unisex but slightly fem leaning. As a guy, this is still unisex enough for me to wear, and I most certainly will be wearing it. This isn't a like- it's a love.

Okay, Edit: I’ve revisited this one today, I’m not sure if it’s because the weather is different than last time but it smells different. There is still the cedar/iso e super but there’s also a bit of citrus, lemon or bergamot with the dry cedar, missing is the raspberry syrup note (thank goodness). I like it a lot more in this form. So, maybe this is the summer rendition. **************************************** Original Review: It’s interesting. Smells woody (iso e super), cedar-ish. Also smells like mild raspberry syrup with fig wood, not green fig or fruity fig but like a broken fig branch. I get a linear wear, not much of a change from beginning to end. The price tag is pretty alarming considering the fragrance only sticks around for a couple of hours. It’s nice but not amazing.

Light floral gourmand with aquatic touches. The scent which wears like raspberry lemonade on skin opens with notes of lemon, petitgrain and slight black currant. The heart is firmly raspberry with rose and slight cedar. The perfume settles on a watery bed of ambroxan and synthetic musk. The unisex scent has moderate projection and good longevity. Like drinking a cold summery drink and perfect for that weather. Easy to like but quite lightweight (and not fully natural) for the price being charged. Enjoy!

Don’t got many words for this one, pleasant and fresh with an ever-so-slight sweetness to it that keeps this from being a boring ass freshie wish I loved it a little more I think maybe it’s missing more of a floral touch, 55/45 feminine

Overall nice citrus green summer scent very fresh in classic fashion of bond no 9 not something I would say you should spend your money on definitely better citrus green scents for cheaper or atleast better performing for the same price

Not sure if the sample (I ordered an 8ml) was tampered with or watered down, but the opening has a strong alcohol note, which luckily goes away within a min or 2. Surprised that such a high priced fragrance would have that alcohol kick. After that I am left with a nice, unisex fragrance that reminds me of a fresh hermes type scent. Another surprise is just how weak it's projecting even in the opening. Maybe it's the ambroxin? Shame as this is a nice scent, but unfortunately for those two reasons it's a no from me. Edit: 20 mins after spray, it smells like molecule 01 far dry down; a faint skin scent. It must be a bust decant because no way a brand is selling this for this type of money.

I've owned this for a couple years. It's very much a summer fragrance. Citrus, green and fruity. In the winter I smell almost nothing, but it really comes alive in the heat. Citrus and fruit mostly burn off within an hour or so and its a subtle sweet musky woody smell. A skin scent after an hour and a half. This ranks in the top 10 of worst performers in my wardrobe. It's nice, but Acqua di parma does sweet citrus better.

This fragrance is a feminine scent to my nose. It's a little fruity, quite floral, and it has an aquatic smell. It's more sweet than I'd like even though I wouldn't wear this. This actually performs nicely. It has a good projection. To me this is a fragrance for a much younger person. I would say maybe in their high school and college day. I can't imagine a lady wearing this, unless she was extra girly.

I keep trying this and all I get from it is Sprite+pencil shavings. I was expecting something greener; I was hoping for more petitgrain. It is very fresh and unisex, just too cedar forward for me. It's a shame because based on the notes, this should be a fragrance I would love, but the cedar just drowns everything else out.

It smells okay. Too overpriced for it not to blow me away but i guess it might not be my scent profile. I actually initiated a return the moment i opened the package and smelt it. Note to self: Dont blind buy niche fragrances that cost an arm and a leg

The Scent Of Peace Natural is perfect for layering. You are going to get Ambroxan. Don't expect something else .I encourage anyone interested in purchasing this perfume to get a sample first I strongly discourage blind buying this.

It’s a spring/sunmer citrus blossom and ambroxan scent with fresh greeness. I have lemon trees currently in flower and this scent is exactly like this. Being natural, it’s great if anyone has allergies or for parrot owners.

Ok I lied, this smells like raid mixed with lemonade lol. Longevity is good, projection is on the softer side. Not for me...nice bottle though.

I 100 percent agree with the review that said to test before you buy. I tried it today and didn’t like it. I prefer the original lilac bottle

Just because natural is in the name does not mean this is a natural perfume. I would sure be careful with using any type of fragrance product around pet birds. *So on their website they are touting this as all natural. They list musk as a note. Well I guess it *could* be ambrette. Idk, but I really doubt their claims but I could be wrong.

It smells nice upon initial blast, like a grapefruit soda. The dry down comes within 30 minutes and it hit me. This smells exactly like Philosophy Falling In Love Flanker for a fraction of the price. Can be found @ any Marshalls on clearance.

I'm soooo surprised Michel Almairac is the master perfumer behind this, he really likes using citruses + roses to his advantage. Plus, he was behind many classic designer frags in the 2000s, I May need a double take on this one!

This Bond no 9 fragrance brings back memories of my mothers garden with the freshly grown rosemary bushes giving off a refreshing scent in the summer months. A satisfactory fragrance in my collection!

I love bond no 9. They have amazing fragrance and you may find your signature scent somewhere in their collection, but please smell this side by side of bleu de Chanel before you buy it.
