Angir is a quietly stunning fragrance—something familiar yet wholly unique. Its listed notes (ginger beer, fig, leather) only scratch the surface of a composition that evolves beautifully on skin. What opens as a mineral, slightly fruity breeze quickly unfolds into a musky white or green tea-like accord, lightly sweetened by fig and grounded by soft, slightly animalic leather. The leather here isn’t plush or suede—it’s more like bonded hide, subtle and textural, sitting beneath the brisk top layer like lining in a designer coat. There’s also a distinct zing, likely from the ginger, that gives it an energetic lift without ever becoming sharp. Over time, what rises is a salty, ambergris-like nuance that contributes to a dry, slightly tart marine impression, evoking the sea without ever becoming aquatic in the traditional sense. It shares some DNA with YSL Tuxedo, but trades its sweet patchouli-amber warmth for something lighter, airier, and more eccentric. Angir feels like a high-art reinterpretation of a designer profile, more conceptual but still deeply wearable. Performance is moderate, with soft projection and lasting presence. For those who like their elegance with a little texture—and their tea with a little leather—Angir is worth your time.

Angir is difficult to describe. It opens both sweet and bitter at the same time, almost like sour ginger blended with leather, yet there is an underlying sweetness that keeps it balanced. The first impression is unusual and slightly challenging, but as it develops, it transforms into something truly unique. With time, the fragrance becomes incredibly rich, addictive, and refined. It turns fruity-sweet yet remarkably clean, which is rare. Sweet and clean notes rarely coexist so seamlessly; most fragrances choose one direction or the other. Here, they somehow work together in a way that feels effortless. What impresses me most is its longevity in terms of interest. Even fragrances I enjoy usually reveal flaws over time, or become boring once the opening fades and there is nothing substantial underneath. Angir may appear simple on paper, but in reality it has depth, cohesion, and character from start to finish. This has become my favorite fragrance to date. It feels unapologetically niche, as if it was never intended for mass appeal but instead for a very specific audience. That may sound exaggerated, but that exclusivity is exactly what makes it special to me.

Angir brings in its opening the density and effervescence that comes from ginger beer. This may honestly feel prickly to certain noses, but gosh, it is so quenching and invigorating to my own olfactory receptors. This crispness is like popping off a cap of Fentiman's and inhaling the fizzy, botanical spiciness out of the bottle. I even perceive facets of juniper berries. It is the evolution of Angir, however, which is most remarkable. A subtly sweet fig accord and something reminiscent of green tea leads to an attractive dry leather that feels quite "tan" to my nose. It is just a bit animalic and raw, but mostly impressionistic. Something about the dry down feels somewhat saline but also arid at the same time. It is truly unique and a pleasure to wear.

A bold, statement fragrance for summer evenings. Leather provides a deep, warm undertone, while ginger and subtle hints of beer add a crisp, refreshing edge. Suitable for both men and women, it stands out without overwhelming, creating a confident yet approachable presence.

I fear I went nose blind to this scent almost immediately, which is sad because I think it’s nice and very unique. It’s kind of zingy and almost effervescent from the ginger and the leather is maybe one of the least synthetic smelling leathers ever. It’s like a real earthy dry leather scent but after about 30min I really had to stick my nose hard into my wrist to smell anything. My boyfriend said he could still smell it and that he liked it but I want to be able to smell my own perfume. The fig is lost on me.

weird and super strange, repulsive even but something keeps drawing me in. The ginger here is sharp and medicinal, gross even, the beer reminiscent of a drunkards breath late at night, but the leather and fig....such a weirdly sensual and rich composition that entices my nose. It’s disgusting...but equally alluring

This notes list should be amended; there is no "beer note," but ginger beer, which is just a type of ginger soda.
