Angels' Powder

It smells a bit like SoraDora Mallow, sans the violets. This blend of raspberry, heliotrope, a "nail polish" accord (which IS point blank like nail polish for the first minute or two on skin!), and sweet aromachemicals is so doll like & beautiful... I honestly love it. It's as if I dusted myself in finely crushed, super-concentrated sweet tarts candy powder. It brings me joy to smell so sweet, feminine, toy-like. I don't find it cloying at all, and I do find it prettier than even Mallow, which I love too for the powdery violet. My personal favorite out of the Dirty & Sticky discovery set! When I think something "niche" Angel's Powder is INCREDIBLY niche... A prime example of what niche is supposed to be, an APEX niche for the girl, or bottom, who grew up in the 90s & 00s; and the smell is addictive as all get out. Let the haters hate, for they simply do not understand. Smartie loves 💕 Editing a year later because after going through a few 5mls from scent split I couldn't bear to part with this scent memory and went ahead and got myself a full bottle. I always want this smell on the ready for the nostalgia and sugar cravings! I'll never be without a bottle of this oddly beautiful and addicting fragrance. Love. Love. L💕VEEE.

I have wanted to try this one since hearing the notes - and glad I did. It does not smell as I expected it to - but this scent is so interesting - different from any gourmand I've smelled. Don't be put off by the nail polish note - it presents more as an aldehyde note which fades within 5 minutes on the skin - but does seem to help carry its staying power. This smells so familiar to me from my childhood, but so so hard to place. I've finally landed on the mix of smells it gives. It smells like the Hubba Bubba cotton candy bubble tape mixed with those blackberry and raspberry candies - the ones that are gummy on the inside and crunchy sprinkles on the outside - and a spritz of the gummy bear body spray on top. May smell too strong on yourself when you first try and steer you away - but give it a go spraying on a t-shirt and putting it in a place you walk past in the house - the whif you'll get when you walk past is delicious.

this one is so personal to me...smells like littlest pet shop heads and the aisles at toys r us. also weirdly evokes images of girlsgogames.com and those my scene doll dress up games we played in the 2000s. but if anyone remembers club libby lu at the mall it reminds me of that THE MOST. specifically the potion bar. just a messy magical mix of nail polish, glitter, lip gloss and hairspray. i think i will wear this whenever i feel like reliving the most girliest part of my girlhood. she's carefree and joyous and obnoxious as hell but does not care one bit because she feels so cute. too bad the sweat tour already happened or i definitely would've worn this. surely this will not be for everyone but if ur into that go crazy...perfect for y2k babies and nostalgia freaks bought a full bottle because i'm insane

I adore this. The idea of a nail polish note drew me in, but the cotton candy/raspberry/musk combo is the real star of this. Reminds me a lot of the cotton candy note in Mugler Angel. The sugariness stays the whole way through, with a really lovely and surprisingly subtle fruity-musky drydown. Exactly as interesting and unusual as you would expect from a fragrance apparently inspired by nail polish and cocaine, but also completely wearable and easy on the nose. And much like its inspirations, it is absolutely addictive. I couldn't stop smelling myself and a friend I was with was also in love with it. I'm not known to wear super "girly" fragrances - which I agree with other commenters this is - but this is so pretty and I know I'll be wearing it a lot.

got a sample of this and i think im in love. ive only been able to find this in 50ml / 1.7 fl oz for ~$200 and its a bummer because if it came in a half size i could justify owning an actual bottle. its absolutely synthetic and chemical-ish on first sniff, definitely enough to turn most people away, but i like that about it. its nostalgic and fashion-forward at the same time. i adore it for how bold it is, but being so bold i cant see myself reaching for it very often. as i said, if this came in a smaller bottle to use for those certain occasions, id purchase it in a heartbeat. when the top note of nail polish mellows out, youre left with raspberry and cotton candy, still with that little sting to it. its strangely addictive.

fun spooky carnival fragrance with depth and a bit of eerieness. the notes that really stand out to me are nail polish (moreso a weird chemical scent.. in a good way!), raspberry, cotton candy, vanilla and musk. i like heliotrope perfumes, but it kinda fades in the background here. there's not the astronomical amount of sweetness which i was expecting, but rather a warm and powdery, saccharine feel. not nauseating, not exactly date vibes, smells actually like a day at a theme park or carnival or circus. powdered and drizzled as far as gourmands go. i'm definitely purchasing the full bottle and intrigued with btso fragrances now but my assumption is anything from this fragrance house should not be blind bought.

Quirky done right. Reminds me a lot in vibe of Toskovat’s Age of Innocence—it is a girly pop with cotton candy and sweet berries with some oud and a special sauce in the form of a highly synthetic note thrown into the mix deliberately. In Age of Innocence it is rubber and gasoline, in Angel’s Powder it is nail polish. It is sweet on the verge of being a little cloying, a nail polish note is harsh and realistic, cuts through the composition making it stand out from your average gourmands. Imagine a pastel pink doll with a scar that goes across her face and ends up being a unique feature. A very interesting bold wear with (as usual for BTSO) decent projection and longevity.

I have been looking for a super sugary, sweet fragrance that makes my teeth hurt. This may be the one. I immediately picked up on the cotton candy, with a little bit of nail polish. I think that the pink pepper does a good job of toning down the chemical smell of the nail polish. After drying down, it still smells like cotton candy, but a little creamier and a bit powdery. This fragrance knocked it out of the park for me. This reminds me of being a kid and painting my nails with my mom after she would spray herself with sugary sweet body spray. I am also really impressed with the silage, as I was able to smell it behind me after turning around a few times today.

she goes crazy. absolute insanity. this is how i imagine the colour pink to smell like. she's tacky, very synthetic and very sweet but it somehow just works and it's incredible. the chemical fumes of nail polish are there, but to me it comes off as more like hairspray. cloying, but is balanced out perfectly by the sugary notes. vaguely powdery. i get the raspberry, but it's faint. to me, the most prominent note is bubblegum. a very childlike scent, but very fun! would not recommend to anyone who dislikes powdery sweetness, because i feel like this scent can be too much for a Lot of people, even if you like sweet scents. definitely one of my faves

tried it out today at the local fragrance store and i fell in love! i’m REALLY into sweet powdery smells so this is a perfect match for me. kind of reminds me Prada Candy, but it lasts much longer and has a chemical note which is totally ok with me, but for some people it will cause headaches. it’s totally suitable for colder seasons, because I think in summer it can be suffocative. at first you feel sweet powder with a bit of chemical, nail polish smell, but after a while it wears off and you only feel very powdery sweetness. i would describe it as a gentle punch in the face, if it makes any sense

this perfume is what i longed for my childhood to be. its plasticky and sweet and powdery and reminds of having to pirate adventure time and ending up with a few viruses on my tablet when i was 9 i wish i had something poetic to say so i can make it onto that one instagram page that posts fragrantica reviews my goal of getting on there reminds me of how younger me would dream that i'll find a full episode of adventure time without getting my tablet hacked in short, buy this perfume if you wanna reminisce and smell really really good while doing it

i LOVEEEEE this. this feels so like . teenager trying to be trashy for the first time as a form of rebellion. i loveeee the sweetness combined with the pepper and the chemical smell in the nail polish!! i really do love the plasticky parts of it, again it feels so juvenile and fun, i like wearing this when i know im gonna get sloppy drunk. the heliotrope also adds some rlly beautiful depth and complexity to it, i love it i love it i LOVE ITTT.

This is SO girly and weird! Sweet, sugary and sharp from the nail polish note. It’s fun but also edgy. At first sniff, it’s sugar and raspberry and cotton candy. Then the acidic nail polish comes through and it’s like, “huh... there’s something different about this...” It’s NOT an edible cotton candy but that’s what I love about it! Projection and longevity are great as well. NEED a FB in my collection!

i get straight raspberry cotton candy though this is my first wear so i'll add more later. to my nose i don't detect nail polish at all it's vanilla sugar and raspberry cotton candy and pink pepper! it's quite loud from initial impressions i sprayed a tiny bit on my arm and it is radiating and wafting all around me and its so damn good!

The first perfume I’ve ever smelled from this brand and I think I’m in love. It’s so sweet and comforting. Smells quite nostalgic. It’s powdery but not sickly. Very surprised about the nail polish note, I would never have detected it, but it’s not off-putting at all. It’s wonderful and the longevity on these perfumes is fantastic.

@jmarie do buy at least a 50ml, you will not be disappointed! I got a great deal on an unsealed in box bottle for just over $100 off Lucky Scent 💕. This stuff never fails to put me in a happy place. Like Lisa Frank designs, cupcake sprinkles, and a fuschia pink tie dye explosion of happiness- all bottled up ☺️

I have to say this is my current favorite scent ever, and I don’t care if some seem to dislike it, for me it’s very original, a bit nostalgic and futuristic, but also not that sweet as everyone mentions. I want to have it forever, and hopefully it will be available forever

Smelling this reminded me of those rainbow sugar candy that came in tall straws. This is like fairy dust but not in the ethereal and whimsical sort, I mean if Kesha was a fae and painted my nails in exchange for my spleen or something.

Just try a sample of it. The first thing comes to my mind is the nail polish, but the smell is a little bit heavy for me. Then the cotton candy and musk work very well. It makes me sniff my hand a lot. Like it. Wanna cop a full bottle

smells like one of those icecreams you would get from an icecream truck, almost a snowcone. sweet and a really prominent raspberry and vanilla sugar note. though i do believe it can come off as nauseating
