Choco Loco

This is definitely a date night scent: boozy with a powdery palatable chocolate with intimate sillage. I appreciate how much of a skin scent it is for what it is. I don't think this would be as pleasant if the booziness could be smelled at arm's length. Unfortunately I do not think this would be for me at the liquor is a little too much. I'd more rather have my chocolate greedy for a richer chocolate composition with a better price tag even if it has quite literally made me hungry from sniffing it... Very interesting scent profile however that I can appreciate. Edit: After the first few uses the scent profile seems to aerate enough that it has less of a liquor note in the beginning and really begins to smooth out. It's a nice powdery cocoa with some boozy faucets. I am starting to appreciate how this one is not too rich and gourmand enough to make it unbearable to wear on an empty stomach... Definitely a night scent but, oh my, am I going to become the type that needs two chocolate fragrances? Decisions, decisions. Edit 2: Bitch, I bought the bottle.

This fragrance feels wonderfully rich and multidimensional, yet remains airy and refined. It’s not that sticky- sugary gourmand often found in scents of this kind. I would call it a grown-up gourmand, sophisticated and elegant. The composition moves beautifully from the bitter depth of cocoa to the slightly sharp warmth of ginger liqueur, and then softens into a tender sweetness of marshmallow touched with cookie dough. It’s a scent full of contrasts, yet perfectly balanced- refined, graceful, and irresistibly comforting. In my opinion, it’s a perfect choice for cool weather 👌🏻

Like the reviewer said below, at first sniff I said this is EOS Cocoa Cashmere. 97.5% identical which is a great thing. Layering these together will be major win and you will smell so good. Now Cocoa Cashmere was also a limited holiday release so it is now gone, but they may bring it back this holiday season, but EOS usually does new scent releases every year. My other thought may be to buy EOS Vanilla Cashmere lotion and Brown Sugar Babe Hot Chocolate Body Oil and that would also work well.

sweet, but not too sweet - not overwhelming at all. a great winter scent, brings me joy sniffing my little sample. honestly it smells a little like those scented chocolate calculators too...

I was looking for the perfect chocolate perfume, not too powdery, not too lactonic, the perfect equilibrium. This is it. Absolutely in love!!!

Smells like Hershey’s chocolate syrup on first spray. The dry down is where it’s AT - s’mores over a campfire. Fire & all!

I didn’t realise this was limited edition, which made it too tempting not to add it to my collection! When I first got my sample of this, I really didn’t like the opening which I found quite harsh. I admit I didn’t let this sit and recover from shipping and wrote it off. Coming back to the sample, I’ve changed my mind about it. This isn’t a chocolate bar scent. It’s more of a chocolate milk and coco butter to me. I think layered on top of Palmers Coco Butter lotion, this would be gorgeous. It would probably layer really well with most scents. The longevity of this is pretty poor though. It’s also quite light wearing. I enjoy this bit I definitely feel this brand in general is way overpriced for what they offer. I’m going to test my sample out for a bit longer, but might end up returning my bottle. Absolutely no resemblance to Choco musk which although popular, is a cheap smelling scent I can’t stand.

Finally, I sampled this. I was expecting hot cocoa, something very warm, suitable for Christmas and all these basic things. the first 2 hours is very heavy on toned down, cheap cocoa powder. there is possibility that it came off cheap to my nose cause it’s not that ultrarealistic. and the butter, so much of it. I was getting whiffs of this fragrance so much that I grew up genuinely tired of it. Every time I slightly moved my hand!!!!! Long lasting, but comes off easily in the shower, for some reason just with water. then, after 2 hours, it smells exactly like I imagine By The Fireplace by Replica to smell like, and it is hilarious. Wasn’t expecting that. I assume it’s the burnt sugar note. For me its more like being at the campfire and drinking cocoa. Maybe not the most delicious one, but the vibe is here. it’s not boring, and im so glad for the expectations and experience this perfume gave me.

Literally chocolate in a bottle. I don’t think any other Perfume on this earth can come as close, as realistic, as surreal to the word chocolate as this perfume does. The opening is bright, intense, and full of everything that you can imagine that is chocolate. You do smell the cookie dough in there, but this is intense, intense, intense chocolate. The dry down brings out the mature liquors and marshmallow note. Literally like chocolate cookies, chocolate syrup, Hershey’s chocolate, all in one. If I was to compare it to a single scent I would say it’s a mudslide or a chocolate martini topped with toasted marshmallow. 8.5/10. Only challenge is, finding an occasion to wear it. date night would be obvious and it projects well, but you can still wear it indoors without turning heads for the wrong reason Could layer well with: Sunset hour by G&B Soleil Blanc Afternoon Swim Queening

This smells exactly like opening a packet of Swiss Miss hot chocolate. There's nothing off-putting in here and I've had that problem with other chocolate scents where they're kind of funky. This is great if you want to be a walking cocoa puff. This is chocolate, no question! My child and husband both said chocolate immediately, and noted nothing else. The price point is absolutely loco for what it is though IMO. If I'm going to smell like chocolate, I want it to be dark, intense and luxurious. This is light and powdery, like actual nesquick. If you are cuckoo for cocoa puffs, then this is for you. If you're looking for something rich and luscious, you will probably have to continue your quest.

It genuinely smells exactly like cocoa pebbles. I thought it would have a much more richer cacao smell, but I’m not complaining. The fragrance itself is very intimate, so I wouldn’t recommend it those who would like a more projecting perfume. A very sweet, inoffensive scent overall. I also don’t get any liquor notes in the scent, and I was worried about disliking that particular note.

Definitely not similar to Choco Musk. Choco Loco smells way more refined. It reminds me of a chocolate drink but with a pinch of ginger. Not a fleeting scent according to my experience. I made ~5 sprays on myself before going for a walk and been getting wafts during the next 3-4 hours, so I can assume it has some sillage. I got a compliment as well.

This is alright. I like the chocolate nesquik smell...though it is very linear at first. Quite simple, quite boring. Later it developed into honey type of the smell + chocolate. The lasting power was good, projection not so much. I don’t think I’ll get the full bottle. Meh 6/10

Pricey? Yes. Worth it? To me... absolutely. This scent gives total Cocoa Pebbles vibes, and it never fails to make me smile. I love using it at night or anytime I want to feel cozy, and delicious.

such a fun fragrance! it's not too sweet, and smells exactly like powdered hot chocolate. stays close to the skin and really brings me comfort.

This smells exactly like a well-baked, caramelized sweet potato right out of an oven. Not chocolate.

This one smells like 100% milk chocolate, like Kinder or Nesquik, and then the liquor kicks in. I don’t really get the butter, thankfully. Montale Chocolate greedy smells like an expensive chocolate praline with bitter orange and dried fruits, the chocolate note in it is deeper. Totally different from this one! As someone like me who loves gourmands, it still smells good, though I’m not that into the booziness because I find that it gets stronger as it develops. I prefer my Chocolate greedy over this and therefore don’t see a reason to buy it.

It's flavorful, but it doesn't last long for clothes and flesh. Cacao Powder with a little tequila

This thing is POTENT. I sampled a few more things on other hand and was wearing smth in my neck but everything seems quite drowned by Choco Loco sillage. For me it opens like cocoa hot drink (some call it hot chocolate but it’s not the melted chocolate kind). It feels very thick and intense but not milky and not overly sweet. Sort of dark chocolate drink. I don’t actually find it boozy And then I get the spices, I think there’s LOADS of ginger, because I could swear the dry down is spicy-woody and not a mix of sweet gourmand notes... It does give me cookie dough but with spices. It’s a bit sweet but I really wouldn’t call it a sweet perfume, it’s more chocolat’y than sweet. I think this would be sexy on a guy, and weirdly I find it unisex but masculine leaning more than a girly gourmand

When I first sprayed the decant my reaction was ok this is just like good old Al Rehab Choco Musk...but then it delivers more and more rich milk chocolate notes, cookies and cream, vanilla...something boozy and a very delicate, fluffy musk. It doesn't project too much but it is ok. I thought... It is delicious. But the projection and longevity are not the best. The price is high, the scent is nice, but it is a skin scent after just 10-15 minutes. It is delicious....I would wear it if given as a gift but it is hard to decide buying something that is so expensive and yet so shy, quiet and fleeting!

I was so excited to get my 10ml decant, but this is *sigh* Palmer's Cocoa Butter. I mean, it's strong and creamy/thick- yet no monster, but it's cocoa butter. I'm glad it was just a decant, bc I blind bought the new Dirty Milk full bottle. I hate myself for that. Fresh new decant off the cold truck. If this doesn't change, I'm writing it off. Bummer, this one does NOT stand out. :(

Smells nearly identical to Choco Musk except a little more chocolate heavy (think chocolate powder or malted chocolate). I think it's quite overpriced given this scent has been done before at a lower price point, but this has a bit more depth. Worth a decant maybe but as others said you can get a similar result in terms of dry down and projection with Palmer's lotion.

I'm sorry, I'm going to post something without even having smelled this stuff: stop calling it perfume when it's just mimicking food smells. The gourmand family has been ruined by this kind of crap for too long. It's no longer perfumery, it's a recipe. Please don’t wear this unless you want to give a very cheap and immature vibe to whom crosses your path.

This reminds me exactly of eid mornings. After breakfast, the children hug their elders, and everyone takes a bite out of the thin square chocolates that come out of the box, while applying the lemon cologne that a family member has just offered to their hands. It feels like a warm embrace.

This is very similar to choco musk but with way more chocolate than vanilla. The price is really not justified unless you have money to throw away, but this truly is the best pure chocolate cocoa powder mix scent ive ever smelled.

Delicious, smells like the concentrated Hershey's syrup you can pour into milk. Very chocoately, very sweet. The official description "Decadence hits fast. Sticky, heavy, almost obscene" describes it perfectly, lol.

Smells just like Al Rehab's Choco Musk oil on paper. On skin it had a slightly more dark cocoa powder vibe at first but it lacks any deeper complexity and is ultimately still 95% Choco Musk. Sorry!

Very similar to chocolate greedy but not as “in your face”. And there is a slight boozy undertone to it. Overall very nice and cozy. But not full size bottle worthy imho.

This is basically Choco Musk. Last just as long as the cheapie which is like 20-30mins and project just as much. Not worth it at all. I'm glad i sampled.

Nope. Bisquit is the only full-on chocolate that’s properly done. This smells cheap and cheap.

i feel like this would work better as a scented candle than a perfume, but that's just me.
