Fresh, spicy, leathery, a touch of floral, sweetness, and musk. It reminds me of Ganymede Extrait, but a much safer alternative for feminine wearers. I love it -- it's unique and irresistible. You will get asked what you're wearing and/or complimented. It is so appealing to me, I could drink this stuff 🤤. I'm not going to break down the notes, but there's noticeable orange juice, savory saffron (which also reads leathery), and some kind of floral with a touch of sugar. If you're in the American Midwest, I promise you will not smell like anyone else in the room. Full bottle worthy -- a definite essential if you're in the market for a dynamic & creative fragrance collection and do not already have Ganymede or Ganymede Extrait. Can be worn year round, but perfect for fall into winter. *Postnote: I can't believe people are pissing and moaning, claiming this isn't like the Ganymedes. Why do people on this app have to lie so much? Yeah, there are subtle differences (Ganymede is more "mineral-y", blah blah blah...) but they smell SO SIMILAR that to have both is wasteful. Get a decant of each and decide for yourself which version you like best. HEY EDGELORDS! THIS DOES IN FACT SMELL LIKE GANYMEDE 😼.

***Note: This scent has iris in the mid. It’s not listed in a lot of places, but is mentioned in the blurp description on many sites and is actually noted on the official BORNTOSTANDOUT website** Even as I wear this scent at the moment of reviewing it, I still don’t know what to think. But as I’ve learned with my nose, that’s usually indicative of a soon to be love scent. It’s just so interesting to me.. it’s smoky, and a little creamy, spicy, woody, musky.. its being pulled into so many different directions, which used to confuse me, but when I zoom out and smell this scent for what it is and not what I’m looking for it to be, I really love it. It needs time to get to the love section of the journey, but once you’re there, oooooo buddy. It’s great. Big shoutout to Arielle Shoshana for getting my bottle to me so quickly and explaining that this is technically an extrait concentration level, which explains why it will last all day. Find a sample. I never would have imagined loving this scent profile as much as I do, so please check it out.

This is one of my favorite perfumes and if I had to single out one - this would be it. The opening is strange and can be misguiding, because it only has pungent leather note that almost put me off when I first tested it. What follows is almost an opposite - mellow and soothing saffron-milky vibe with some gentle ambery sweetness and mild spice notes that all combined resemble masala tea or similar drink. That contrast, from black (suede) leather to creamy tones of exotic milk is the best transformation I've encountered in a perfume. Bottle design fits it perfectly. Performance is very good, it lasts long and has decent sillage, although the strength of it is not catching much attention, it's creating a pleasant halo that is relaxing and welcoming. IMO, best for autumn and (early) spring, but could also be worn daily during winter or even on colder summer nights. Certainly, this note blend is NOT for everyone's taste being so unusual, which explains the rating, but I think if you get it's drift, you'll love it as I do.

Firstly what a fun collaboration! What a nice way for brands to appreciate one another! I am so here to support and inspire one another! Love this collaboration! This perfume was strong like for me since the first spray and with time it got even better. At first, I thought it might be some ink or Orris notes here, it had a very distinctive smell at the beginning. And at the dry done you truly get something Ganymed-like there is this sparkling mineral feeling that Ganymed has. I get the same feeling in this perfume, that metallic illuminating hard-to-explain smell. To some, it appears as medicinal or hospital-like. Maybe i's the saffron now. So the comparisons to Crystal Saffron and Ganymed are very real but it is not the same perfume it's very different. As I am not the biggest fan of Ganymede. If you ever tried Ganymed add lactonic notes with sweetness and you will probably get this perfume. I like that this feels warmer and more sensual compared to the perfumes in the 'reminds me' list.

It smells like those high-end department stores where the air conditioning is so cold it almost slices through the skin; like brand new clothes, still stiff with luxury. It also carries that clean sigh you get when opening a new book, that bright, untouched aroma. Beneath it all, there’s something more earthy: the raw wood aisle at Home Depot, fresh grains and crisp fibers. And then a very particular nuance, like a loft in clean construction cement, new wood, an open space taking shape. It feels polished and raw at the same time. This fragrance feels completely different from anything I’ve ever smelled. I haven’t tried Ganymede, so for me this is something truly new. It’s not your typical musky scent at all , it has other layers and nuances that make it stand out. And honestly, it’s a real compliment-getter. Update : After wearing it on more than three occasions and receiving several compliments, I’ve grown to genuinely love this fragrance. It’s truly amazing

I received the promo samples from this collaboration today, and this one instantly stood out as my favorite. Perhaps it’s because the notes align with many I typically enjoy, though the scent itself is not something I’d usually gravitate towards. First off, I have to say it’s completely distinct from the rest of the BTSO fragrances. Some might draw comparisons to Ganymede due to their shared notes and leathery heart, but Fugazzi offers a softer, more refined experience. It feels like the scent of suede brought to life—rich, smooth, and luxurious, like opening a box of high-end shoes for the first time. Here, suede takes center stage, with the other notes serving to enhance its presence. A creamy, musky, and subtly sweet warm base melts beautifully into the skin, while saffron & iris tie everything all together adding depth and an animalic touch. Ambroxan brings strength and makes the scent last. Seductive and addictive, it’s an absolutely beautiful creation!

This fragrance smells like a "new thing" To me, it’s like smelling a warehouse of "new", elegant, and expensive items. It creates an aura of someone sophisticated, new (if that makes sense), mysterious, wealthy—making you wonder where this person came from, what kind of life they lead, and it intrigues you. Honestly, it’s a very particular and very beautiful scent at the same time—nostalgic, but above all mysterious and intriguing. The kind of scent someone important would wear. I love this kind of fragrance, it captures scents from the real world in a way I can’t explain. The type of character I imagine wearing this is Joe Goldberg LMFAO I think the cherry on top is pairing it with another perfume that’s also rich and subtly soft. For example, I wear it with Fugazzi Vanilla Haze, and it’s a true masterpiece. One or 2 sprays its all you need Longevity: so good, about 10/12 H Sillage also very good about 1.5 meters of projection

Fugazzi feels airy, musky, and startlingly clean, almost squeaky clean. There is a futuristic, industrial sheen to it, but what it really reminds me of is a crisp shirt on someone who still manages to stay irresistible even after the day roughs them up a bit. Sexy, yes, but also strangely comforting. It reads as unisex, though I catch a masculine lean in its bolder edges. Unlike Ganymede, which can feel metallic and sharp, Fugazzi has more warmth and softness, making it easier to wear. You get the creamy milk and powdery iris smoothing over the sharper spices and woods, and then a warm vanilla-amber dry down that clings like skin. The vibe is modern and confident, almost like the “cool kid on the block” who always seems put together without trying. It doesn’t announce itself as perfume in the traditional sense. Instead, it wears more like an aura, a second skin with attitude. Above all, it is a masterpiece.

The initial opening is definitely off-putting, it's like a chemical, plastic pine scent, grey-green if I had to put a color on it. It then surprisingly transitions beautifully about 15 minutes in, that Ganymede DNA reveals itself, and shortly after, mandarins are freshly sliced to round out the scent. I get a subtle "minty-floral" note hiding in the background, which creates that nuance that keeps me enjoying the fragrance. It might be a combination of the saffron, oakmoss, and something else. Fugazzi manages to pull off being mysterious, playful, and elegant all at once. Besides Ganymede, this frag is quite similar to New Notes' Akigalawood Mandarino (which is also, for me, a Ganymede skeleton filled with mandarins), but AM's mandarin-note is juiced up to the max. Where Ganymede/AM are very linear, this scent develops and changes nicely.

I tested this on a local store and got very interested. Grapefruit is done so nicely in here, it's not at all pungent or too ruling but very much detectable. I also detect leather note and saffron note. Aww, this is a super elegant scent! I do not find this lactonic nor vanillic, so this isn't in anyway a sweet scent. This is uplifting, thanks to grapefruit and mandarin, but also soft and delicate, thanks to milk and vanilla and spices. Lovely, elegant, opulent and the lasting power is very good - and so it should be in this price category. Somehow this reminds me of Prada Infusion de Gingembre, but where IdG is brisk and more citruisy, Fugazzi is softly refreshing and powdery. I like them both - and luckily have them both.

It’s the olfactory equivalent of a fashion editorial shot in Berlin at 3 a.m.—moody, mysterious, and full of energy you can’t quite place but definitely feel. Performance? Fugazzi doesn’t just sit on your skin—it claims space. The sillage is bold, and the longevity is easily 10+ hours, with that spicy-woody veil following you like a shadow at dusk. It’s the type of scent that lingers on your clothes and in memories. Rating: 9/10 Repurchase? Absolutely.

This is very much a Bisch creation. It’s a mix of some facets of Ganymede with Amouage Purpose. In that sense it is closer to Purpose than Ganymede. This is a photorealistic suede fragrance. You smell the leathery dry suede fabric with some sweetness similar to Crystal Saffron. Very calm, niche. Great quality ingredient. It has a slight dry medicinal gauze feel to it. Like gauze dipped in rubbing alcohol. Very pleasant. So if Ganymede is loud and Purpose is quiet. This is right in between. A great one to add to your collection if you already have Ganymede and Purpose.

It’s a love! 🥰 The fragrance is quite soft, cozy, and intimate. At the opening, there’s a slight smokiness, but it’s beautifully balanced with a lactonic note and a touch of freshness in the form of abstract citrus. The suede in the scent is also soft, as is the saffron. There’s not much sweetness in the fragrance, just a hint. However, the composition is beautifully crafted and delicate! There’s a slight resemblance to Ganymede, but only during the development of the middle notes. In a word- unique! I was deeply captivated by its unusual character. 🥰

To start, it is WAY OVERPRICED! And this is not even a good-sized bottle!!! come on! In terms of the scent profile, it is the most unique and prominent out of all BTSO I sampled, probably because of cumin. It is powdery, but it has strong character. I'd say definitely for women. When it dries, it gives some tiny Guerlain's Oud Nude vibes. Would buy a full bottle, had the bottle been larger, or the price more reasonable. But at this price point, I may as well go for other, more established niche brands.

Oh my goddddddd!!!!! what a f***** fragrance!!! Wasn't too sure what to expect since people said it smells like opening a new book, and although there is that subtle smell in there, to me, this is a blend between PDM Castley, a toned down PDM Haltane and something else. I see this best when going to a holiday party or dressed in a business casual attire about to handle some big business. I cannot get enough of this scent! Absolutely LOVE IT

I was instantly drawn to the clean powdery musk of Fugazzi. After purchasing and wearing for a month there are notes that evoke the most putrid sour body odor, yet I am still drawn towards this fragrance. Most people I show this to are not as enthused about this creation. Not a safe blind buy. It somehow remains in my top favorite fragrances despite these off-putting notes that add to the complexity for me.

Candy cigarettes! BTSO's Fugazzi--my goodness. I love this one. Right up my alley. I feel like this fragrance fits me perfectly. It's cool, fuzzy, edgy, buzzy, slightly creamy. Linear, but that's ok because it's super interesting in terms of notes and the blend. I appreciate its uniqueness and bold-but-smooth statement.

My first thought is: this is good! A little strange but in a compulsively sniffable kind of way. My second thought is: this is not nearly as challenging as one might imagine from this unique combination of notes, also the sillage is impressive. Third thought: this might be a new love...Adds to wish list!

Black pepper, iso e-super's dusty woodiness and iris' dry profile. Easy to wear, easy to love. Oversimplification of course but it's a minimalistic scent that envelopes slowly with a highly contemporary scent profile. Other facets are carrot seed, cedarwood, leather, tobacco and a hint of cumin. Lovely!

Clean musk, iris, leather, and woods. It’s dry and peppery with very little sweetness. Slightly vanillic and amber like in the dry down. Nothing like Ganymede or Bois Imperial to this nose. I get slight hints of Jacques Fath - Vetiver Gris. Similar dry scent profile. It’s very sexy. Instant love.
