Naked Laundry

BORNTOSTANDOUT - Naked Laundry This is every bit as unconventional, some may say weird, as everyone says it is. The smell is like fresh laundry but there is an underlying sense of something a bit sensual, maybe a little dirty about it. It is the smell of two lovers who have spent the night in a very clean hotel room bed, doing very dirty things to each other. It is a little soapy, like fabric softener and there is a fibrous note of high quality cotton here. But the musk (and that is the best way to describe it, even though there are no musk accords - it is human body musk not the smell of actual animalistic musk if that makes sense) is unmistakable. The woody, lactonic notes are there but are as if they were the perfumes on the two incumbents of this mythical bed of sin. The rich, smoothness of the honey and hints of coconut is clearer, as if it were him smelling her damp hair as they lie sweating in the darkness, post-deed. If this description sounds pretentious and a bit silly, then this is intentional but this is a pretentious and slightly silly perfume that I really enjoy because of it. It is a bit leaning feminine, that is clear to me. Just a little bit. But the drydown is musky and interesting enough to make this a cool addition to my collection. I find myself sniffing my wrist a lot when I wear it just because of how interesting it is. Its got real character this one. It's one of those scents that you love but don't necessarily like all the time, like a past, really hot ex-girlfriend who you only got on with in the bedroom and argued with non-stop with outside of it. I kind of like how this juxtaposes with this fragrance and the accords that suggest and evoke the dirty fun experience. This is a really strong and quality performing scent that dries quite linear. I really like it and I like it more because of how polarising it is. Most guys cannot get away with wearing this and I only would wear it out in a casual setting with jeans and a t-shirt, designer sneakers etc. It would work really nicely like that. I absolutely love this one. One of the most interesting fragrances I own. Layering recommendation - DS & Durga - Debaser. Out of the new releases, I like this one the most. I'm not the biggest fan of aldehydes but it has it's place, and it's minimal on my skin. It's more a honeyed mimosa, with creamy lactones underneath. What makes this truly intriguing is this skatole material. It has a big presence upon initial spray and tinkers down as the minutes go by. I think it's a perfect contrast. Yes it has a growl but it's not as bad as these selective outragers in the comments say it is. If your a mimosa fan you will like this.

I love this smell it absolutely smells like a church, when I first smelled it it took me back to the chapel where I had my first communion, which is INSANE considering how many of you insisted it felt like "after-act-fragrances"...

I adore it. Its slighly in the opening like Acne Studios x Frederic Malle. Like hot cotton while you iroing it with fresh water. I simple can’t get enough. Really an amazing creation. Very lovely 🥰♥️

You started the evening by going out by the beach with your friends, still lathered up in sun cream. As the late spring sun set, and the night went on, you went to progressively dirtier and boozier bars, and kissed a foreign man who's language you barely spoke, but will fondly think about every now and then for years to come. To try prevent the distinct "night out" smell, you kept reapplying a sweet body mist, but it just added to the feeling even more. Finally, you stumbled back to your room, knowing that the crispy white bedding will now have smeared makeup on it, and bear the signs of a memory made. As you wake up, sun shining in your face through the windows, you smell Naked Laundry. Naked laundry is the un-everything of scents. Everything you feel in this frag is there, but it's in such an unexpected way. How can something smell so clean and fresh in it's sillage, almost leaning chemical-y at times, but still smell so animalic it's almost pissy on the close sitting notes, and yet sweet and alluring, all at the same time? I love the backseat lactonic notes, the un-floral un-sweet mimosa, and gentle, pure honey. One of the most interesting, original things I've tried recently, and even more so on skin.
