Oud Hindi

wonderful oud based scent, i wish i could bathe in this oud. my favorite of the 2024 oud trio. the scent starts with a heavy dose of indian oud with some angelic soft floral notes coming from pink lotus that goes away quickly. the oud smells soft, creamy, slightly fermented but in a lactonic way, slightly smoky, 0 barn yardy fecal notes to my nose but its not a clean oud either(lightly warm and animalic). the creamy and smoky aspect of the oud is being amplified by ambery notes likely ambergris, cedar wood and guaiac wood. the cherry note appears after 2 minutes of spray and perfectly blends with the creamy oud. after 5 hours the cherry note is 80% gone and you are left with indian oud in the dry down that is now slightly sweeter and earthier than before with hints of cherry but at this point the scent feels much lighter than the opening. the late drydown is mostly the oud with slight hints of vanilla and cedarwood , the vanilla is much heavier used in other new releases than this one (kinam and malinau). its a simple composition overall but i might like this one more than oud maximus, i actually smell similar scent profile of indian oud in the oud maximus( mixed with other woody herbal kind of ouds)but that scent is loaded with spices and roses but here the oud is more front and center to my nose. longevity is around 12 hours and projection is close for the first hours.

Very unisex! Not strong and Projects averagely, which is beautiful for those who are afraid of opulent oud perfumes. But the dry down is mostly like lao oud the indian oud profile, although not exactly lacking the coffee note and this one, the dry down concentrates in hindi oud. I have a several hindi oud essential oils from ensar oud, and the dry down of this one just remember me of the Hindistan Kala from ensar oud. As an oud head, only this one of the three of the lastest release satisfy me enough.

Oud Hindi straight up from the beginning to the end. It does dry down and morph into a faint Vanillin Cherry with hints of amber. I just wish, wish, wish the dry down shouted more, it is so bloody addictive it should be banned

An interesting natural floral woody scent with gourmand touches. The fragrance opens on a slightly sourish note with cherry, lotus and orange blossom. It then sweetens with guaiac, amber and vanilla. Finally it settles on a woody base of cedar and Indian oud. The unisex scent has moderate projection and good longevity. You need to stick with the ride as it transitions from sour to sweet on your skin. Enjoy!

Veerryyy barnyardy opening IN MY OPINION, Fragrance is very subjective but I get barnyard, stables with abit of a faecal aspect, not for the faint hearted I'd say haha, if you look for the other notes deeper within it does get sweeter and almost mouth watering I think. Do not blind buy 😂

Strong Berry flavoured Cough syrup smell for few hours and then the dry down reminds me of Roja Sultanate of Oman. Ashy cherry on top of clean oud. Sadly cannot imagine wearing this.

Smell is ok, nothing special. Specifically it doesn't give proper Hindi Oud oud feeling. Sillage and longevity is very very poor (max 3 hrs as skin scent)

Starts fishy, dries down to "Oud Lao"... Bortnikoff "Lao Oud" is the dry down of "Hindi Oud". This also is identical to Kalakas Oud, which is the most expensive and distinct oud, it's sweet, herbal, kind of balsamic, & fruitti touch. Also, the dry down is kind of 70% similar to "Pur Oud" by Luise Vuitton while "Hindi Oud" is way beautiful and affordable than "Pur Oud". But if you have "Lao Oud" then forget about this one. Beautiful.

Very nice. I cannot really agree that this smells like Lao Oud. Lao Oud is much darker and more serious, but this one is playful and still full of character. The oud harmonizes well with vanillic florals. The result is much more wearable and beautiful than Lao Oud. The downside is that the longevity is not good. Even though I said wearable, you really need to test before buying, since this is no conventional beauty.

Starts out being very similar to Oud Lao but with a smokier, more ashy base. Quickly evolves into a creamy, very yellow-hued floral scent. Pink rose, mimosa, tea-like facets, almost bubblegum fruity notes and honey with the slightly cacao dusty, slightly smokey hindi oud still having a background presence. Very pretty, despite what ones initial thought may be.

That typical cheesy, sweaty feet after a ten mile run feel of Hindi oud blast upfront. Give it half an hour or maybe less and you feel this very dark, fizzy cherry note and the smoke from the guiac woods. That is kind of it.
