If you're looking for a fragrance that captures the essence of a spring afternoon in an Andalusian courtyard, Patio by Botanicae is probably one of the most authentic and sunny interpretations on the market. Patio is not the classic "clean" and aseptic perfume; it's a white floral explosion that manages to be simultaneously opulent and airy. Contrary to the classic pyramid where citrus fruits dominate the head, here Tuberose immediately takes center stage. It is not a "carnal" or dramatic tuberose, but green and fresh, as if the flowers were still wet with dew. The mix of Honeysuckle and Jasmine adds a honeyed and slightly indolic nuance. Honeysuckle, in particular, gives that feeling of "open air" that justifies the name of the fragrance. It is a perfume that smells of sunlight. The bottom of in dusty elegance. Dry down reveals the more refined side: Orris rhizome: Gives a velvety and slightly powdery texture. Sandalwood: Closes the composition with a woody creaminess that fixes the flowers on the skin without ever overpowering them. Patio is the ideal choice for those who love "white" and bright perfumes. It is an optimistic fragrance, clean but with character. For those who love classics like Gucci Bloom or Do Son by Diptyque, in Patio they will find a more artisanal, sunny and less commercial version.

If you're a tuberose junkie, you'll love this. It was on my wish list for 2 years. I ordered bottles 3 times and all the orders were cancelled due to the item being out of stock. Finally it came back in stock! Initially when I first sprayed, this smelled like a cross between Do Son by Diptyque and Lys 41 by Le Labo. For the record, tuberose is my fav flower scent, and my favorite tube fragrances are Carnal Flower and Lys 41. Patio has the same creamy realistic flowery tuberose that you'd find in Do Son and Lys 41. As it dries down and the tuberose fades, the jasmine and sandalwood come out and it reminds me of a prettier, more expensive and less screechy, realistic version of Gucci Bloom Profumo di Fiori, the yellow flanker. I'm thinking for the future I may replace Do Son and the yellow Bloom flanker with this, as I like this blend more. Smells very expensive and nice, a quality fragrance. I'd say it's a safe blind buy if you like tuberose frags, but should of course be sampled first if you're picky about white florals. It isn't the most unique stand-out scent, but frankly, it's excellent quality and one of the only tuberose blends I've found that isn't super expensive and doesn't smother the soft pretty flower in a ton of other cheap loud notes.

I'm surprised there's no white musk in the official note list because that's what I smell in the mid to drydown based on what I smell on my skin. Standard white floral opening of jasmine and tuberose, I guess that's where the Gucci Bloom comparisons start. Lasts more than 10 hours on my skin with moderate sillage. 2 spritzes is too much for me. Budget friendly on my part (less than 27 usd on a discount shop in my place, I wish I haggled more).

I'm not familiar with the smell of Gucci Bloom, but I kind of believe that comparison is true. Patio is a floral heavy and floral forward fragrance. As a male, I quite like it, but I admit it's a lot more feminine leaning than I'd want. It's one for my collection anyway, so I'm not bothered. The jasmine and tuberose hit u in the face from the start. Gorgeous, nonetheless. Performance seems respectable as well.

I love the is fragrance. It reminds me of my childhood and playing in our family garden. We had a big honeysuckle plant that grew up our wall and over a wooden arch. The smell was intoxicating in summer and this is so realistic of the scent. I don’t get much tuberose or jasmine, although I like both of those notes. This is very much a Honeysuckle fragrance for me. I love it so much 🥰
