Parco Palladiano VIII: Neroli

I’m reticent to claim about anything that “This the best ____ out there!”, but Bottega Veneta’s take on neroli might really be it. I’m certain that I’ve never smelled a more natural, beautiful, or memorable neroli fragrance in my life. I know these bottles are expensive, but this one is worth making some sacrifices. I’m not sure what I can add to any of the reviews below except to say that I think they’re spot on. Bottega Veneta Neroli displays all the hallmarks of the highest quality craftsmanship and ingredients, and is a bright, waxy, and rich neroli scent that distinguishes itself from its competitors on first spray. To wit: I haven’t worn BV Neroli in at least five months—it’s November, and all my warm weather bottles are packed away—and I have no trouble recalling the scent as if I’m wearing it right now. I think it also bears mentioning that, while bright and sunny, Neroli is an unquestionably unisex offering—not something every fragrance in the Parco Palladiano line so easily pulls off (despite every one being listed as unisex). Clearly a fragrance built with high grade constituent parts and blended by true artisans, Neroli will prove worthy of its exorbitant cost on your first wear. Of course, due to its concentration and (likely expensive and natural) ingredients, its sillage and longevity are both top notch. Neither is likely to disappoint even the most demanding of fragrance enthusiasts. To my mind, and my nose, it’s hard to imagine a scent that evokes a late spring stroll through an orange grove along the Amalfi Coast as clearly, crisply, and effortlessly as this Parco Palladiano entry. Brava, Ms Alran!

What a STUNNING fragrance! This smells like the whole of the orange tree in all of its glory. It's sophisticated as well as quite simple and yet refined. It opens with a lovely hint of that petitgrain, which is of course both green and yet slightly citrusy. This part is soothing and delicate. And then comes the neroli and orange blossom notes in almost equal measure, with the neroli being the slightly more dominant of the two. I feel like the neroli amps up the orange blossom and brings out some of its more bitter and citrus side, while also giving it that slightly honeyed floral nuance. The orange blossom is still lovely and indolic though, while still being fresh. Lastly, I smell a hint of the woody notes at the base, grounding this perfume and making it last on the skin. For a neroli and orange blossom perfume, this lasts quite a while! I managed to get just over 5 hours on my skin. It also has medium projection. For me, this perfume leans feminine because of the pronounced orange blossom note and only hint of wood, but it could still be worn by a man for sure. It is not overpowering at all and sweet, citrusy and fresh in a white floral kind of way. I could imagine wearing it in either spring or summer during the day. It's so happy, bright and uplifting. I love this perfume and hope to get a bottle when I get the chance to, since it is a discontinued fragrance! They always get rid of the best ones...

Petit grain is one of my favorite notes in perfumery so I had to blind buy this beauty and what a beauty indeed!!! The petit grain, orange blossom and neroli notes dance together in unison to form a clean, almost soapy (but in a wonderful way) and citrusy/floral composition that smells marvelous. I smell this and I am transported straight to a Mediterranean garden where neroli and orange blossoms bloom aplenty! It is quite magical when a perfume does that! Therefore, Parco Palladiano Vlll Neroli by Bottega Veneta has become one of my newest obsessions and I cannot have enough of it. It makes me want to hold on to Summer a little longer, it takes me back to my youth spent in the South of France, it is bringing me happiness and joy, what more could I ask for? I have to add that the longevity is surprisingly good. It doesn’t necessarily project like a bomb, nor should it do so but I have received compliments on it by strangers. All in all, a wonderful and perfect scent to have in my collection as I am a citrus/white flowers obsessed person 😅😉

I agree with the prior reviewers that this is the best neroli fragrance I have experienced, with unusual complexity, longevity and projection. The adjectives deep, rich, pungent, dense, sweet and regal in earlier reviews resonated with me when thinking about this scent. Perhaps a more mature neroli than ones like TF Neroli Portofino; 20-30% less expensive than the TF, too. Such a shame that it seems this and the entire, often fascinating, Parco Palladiano range has been discontinued.

Definitely one of the better neroli perfumes out there. Beautiful and soft fragrance that lasted well throughout the night, well over 9 hrs. Sleeping to and waking up to this wonderful scent is a bliss. I’m sure sleeping next to someone with this sprayed would be even better.

Very reminiscent of moroccan orange blossom water. Very floral take on neroli, but still unisex I'd say, and as a man I usually have trouble with feminine leaning scents. This is a unique, neroli a must try for neroli lovers, but still an acquired taste.

today I tried the parco palladiano neroli and cipresso samples. natural cypress green nice cipresso. then i tried neroli i was surprised its a beautiful fragrance very natural smell i had to buy it.

The most underrated and least talked about neroli scent! I love this stuff and I usually don't like neroli dominant scents. There's something truly special about this one!

The floral notes are Neroli VIII opens with a green note that gives way to neroli and orange blossom (shocking!), grounded in a subtle woody base. Sounds simple? It's not though! There is something citrusy in the top here, smells like lemons even though it is not listed. Petitgrain is very evident to my nose, green and slightly bitter. The florals are dense and full with a hint of honeyed sweetness. It's clean but not soapy. The composition is very special because it pays homage and showcases every part of a citrus fruit tree in bloom - leaves, stems, flowers and woody branches. Another aspect that's surprising about this fragrance but one I have learned to expect from this line is performance and I don't think there is a neroli fragrance out there that could compete with it in terms of longevity and projection. Neroli VIII is firmly unisex and would serve well during the high heat of summer, cutting through the heat while keeping one smelling fresh, elegant and posh. White florals are not something I gravitate towards unfortunately but that doesn't stop me from appreciating this truly magnificent fragrance. If you love Neroli/orange blossom and seek a fragrance that highlights this note, then I urge you to give this a try, while you can still find it.

Should be called Neroli Bomb or something. It's so uncommon to see a neroli based perfume with exceptional longevity. And it has a nuclear projection. Opens up literally like a crushed lime leaf for around 15 minutes, before the neroli kicks in. Don't overspray, because it's a very potent neroli. Two or three sprays should be enough. So if you're a neroli fan, you will not be disappointed. And thankfully this isn't smelled like mosquitoes repellent, But I wouldn't called this fragrance sexy either. It's... somewhat regal.

Very typical, and done before like A LOT. I usually like this genre, but only if they're dry(not sweet); this one was very sweet on me, I think it's because there's osmanthus in abundance in here. Not bad, but it's a pass for me. If you don't mind sweetness, than this is might be for you. Apparently discontinued so, whatever!!

I absolutely hate this fragrance. This fragrance is extremely unpleasant and smelly. I want to toss this fragrance into hell. That is where the fragrance belong. Bottega Venetta makes nice bags, but their fragrance is utterly disgusting. I get lightheaded, and I feel like puking when I smell this fragrance.

Amazing scent, the best, way a head of any Neroli scent, even Tom Fords version. A fresh stunner. Its strong and natural. A beast on projection. One of those days where you just want to be o' rangy fresh and clean. You will get notice guaranteed with this one. I think a man will pull this scent off better than a woman. The whole Parco line are stunners, luxury, and exceptionally smooth. A recommended buy if the price is not an issue.

This is done right. This is better than Tom Fords and any other big name brand Neroli version. I Smelled this at the Bottega Veneta boutique, it smells awesome for a woman or man. It Has a very fresh deep, rich, and pungent natural orange smell with some woods scent. The extract has to be potent. Probably one of the best Neroli/Orange scents to date.

This is the best Neroli I have experienced. The neroli/orange blossom is sweet and fragrant, and combined with petitgrain it adds the woodsy note to conjure the image of the orange tree. It has great longevity, and sillage. I love Bottega Veneta, and have most of their fragrances. This is one of my top 5 of the Parco Palladiano line.

This is divine, orangey, sweet, neroli . Well done. Amazing silage, great projection. Too expensive! Try Fragonard fleur d’ orangeur quite similar Totally unisex. It’s very longlasting beautiful, uplifting and mood lifting scent.

best neroli scent i have tested.. huge projection and longevity.. the orange blossom is dense and sweet.. i can see why its expensive.. high grade ingredients..

Paco VIII Freaking beautiful Neroli. Not overly powdery, modern neroli. Wroth finding for neroli lover.
