Boucheron Fleurs

Boucheron Fleurs hit the market in February 2019 and was presented in Brazil to some dealers and professionals of the industry at an event held on April 2nd, in Sao Paulo. This is another version of the iconic (and first-ever) fragrance Boucheron Pour Femme, launched in 1988, which was inspired by the goldsmiths of a refined Paris, and the bottle - designed by Joel Desgrippes - served as a reference for the famous line of Cabochon rings. The line has already been repackaged and Boucheron Fleurs perfume follows the new visual identity available in the market. Its fragrance was jointly created by perfumers Quentin Bisch and Natalie Gracia-Cetto, responsible for other fragrances of the brand. It has lemon, pear, and mandarin notes, in the head; Orange blossom absolute, frangipani, and Petalia, in the body; Benzoin balm, white musk, and vanilla, in the base. It is not one of those flankers that should be compared to the original product, because the latter was born at a time when raw materials of a more natural origin, including animal, were used, as was the case with the civet. But we can say that the new fragrance is a more modern rereading, yet full of nostalgia. Boucheron Fleurs is one of those perfumes that seem to have been made with milk rather than water. There is a latent creaminess, from beginning to end, that gives a more enveloping air than usual. When I remember the countless stories I've read and heard about Cleopatra bathing for hours in a mixture of milk, lavender, and roses, I can imagine the feeling by drawing an immediate comparison with the smell of this creation. Before revealing my interpretation, it is worth explaining that Petalia is a patented Givaudan compound that has a strong floral accord, ranging from roses and peonies to the scent of jasmine and lily of the valley. On the skin, Fleurs opens with the scent of a rich pear frappe, which is poured into a tub filled with frangipani petals, with its fruity and milky nuances. It is in this fusion that your body is submerged, resting and receiving a hydration loaded with essential oils until you reach out and grab a small porcelain jar (previously set aside) that was filled with a rich, dark and thick emulsion of vanilla. By slowly pouring it over your own body, new scented facets exude at the same time the skin appears to gain an oily, almost sticky layer. It is the musk conferring its extremely silky content. The translucent blue color of the bottle doesn't bother me and, truth be told, it even conveys me more truth than if it were pink, for example. I think it is a great floral for days and, especially, nights of spring and summer. The box is full of charm, with floral and metalized adornments in a noble tapestry style. For me, Boucheron Fleurs reveals a beautiful transition within the same line, without forgetting two indispensable aspects for this brand and for the woman who wears their jewelry: femininity and elegance.

Gorgeous ORANGE-BLOSSOM, FRANGIPANI & BENZOIN. Signed by perfumers Quentin Bisch (Delina Parfums de Marly), and Nathalie Gracia-Cetto (Burberrty Brit Rhythm For Her), this beauty opens with a fruity burst of pear & citrus, deepening into a floral heart with powdery, clean, velvety, soapy & tropical nuances, all resting on a benzoin-vanilla base. Overall in the air I get an orange-blossom scent with really good projection, and on the skin it has a sparkly sugar-crystal texture, and lush, sweet, tropical frangipani with a pleasant detergent vibe underneath. Some reviewers have described a milky or lactonic note, and while there is no lactonic note, the body and fullness from the petalia & frangipani might read as milky to some. Average performance. It's a love for me. 10/10. Enjoy! Update 02/23/24: I came back to this one after awhile and it's really evolved. The projection has really blossomed and there's an impression of jasmine built from the other florals. The longevity has improved to slightly above average for year round wear. I'm overall now getting an impression of a jasmine & white-floral scent. Update 08/10/24: Ok, so this has evolved even more. It's now fluffier and thicker in a powder, soapy, almost creamy way. I'm getting a predominantly orange-blossom scent, but I also get some jasmine and petalia. Interested to see if it will evolve further. Still a love.

I'm going to come back and do a full review when I get the chance, but so far this is love at first sniff (of the back of one hand). I always seem to have great luck with the house of Boucheron! Boucheron Fleurs seems like the cheerful and sporty older sister of Boucheron Jaipur, a scent I love for its romance and melancholy. As others have noticed, the blue bottle (and bluish juice?) suggests an entirely different scent than this one, but I'm not complaining because I love all the Boucheron bottles, cheap little plastic caps notwithstanding. Something about it is giving Jean Naté vibes, and I'm here for it. It's more elevated, sure, but it reminds me of how lovely I found that fragrance when I was a little kid and smelled it in the drugstore.

This fragance is amazing Don't let the citrusy opening fool you, the name is really accurate. Once it warms up, you will get flowers! This is a beautiful fresh(ish) floral, SWEET and not soapy fragance. It is delicate, very well blended and balanced. Definitely best suited for warm/er weather - spring - I'm not sure about summer Blind bought this one, no regrets 😊 It is sweet you'll definitely smell the frangipani. --- I own the Jaipur Bracelet and the only similarities it has to this is being floral - It's a totally different floral scent, colder, no citrus in the opening, to me as it dries down I'm reminded more of Burberry London or Gucci Bloom - Whereas Boucheron Fleurs leans slightly tropical and creamy (almost sun tan lotion)

Beautiful fragrance. It is sweet, but not too much. Actually, nothing in this fragrance is too much. At first I thought it does have nothing to do with the original, but now I do recognize the core of the original enveloped in new flowers. To me, actually, the strongest notes are orange blossom and benzoin, and that is, I think, what it keeps from the original, in which these two notes are to me also the dominant ones. But this one is different, floral creamy sweet, and not nearly as powerful, which is a pity. I also find it soapy, which I like a lot. But as the time goes by, the similarities with the original Boucheron increase, as if it comes out of it. Lovely. I also like the bottle, the box, and the colour.

For the most part it smells like a lemon blossom. Very nice for hot summer 🌞 months . It's a polite average perfume. The first few minutes is a pretty hefty dose of citrusy-lemon zest and pear. I did want to mention the bottle. The bottom half, blue glass is pretty nice. However, the top portion, the plastic fake 80's looking plastic brass and thin plastic lid. Very chintzy very cheap. That part looks tacky and cheap. But, I say this because it does crack easily due to the thin plastic,It's not assembled well at all and could break into sharp points and cut you. I speak from two stitches and experience.

The top notes are lemon, pear, and mandarin; the middle notes are orange blossom absolute, frangipani, and Petalia; and the base notes are benzoin balm, white musk, and vanilla. It's a beautiful floral for spring and summer days and evenings, in my opinion. femininity and grace. This is a lovely aroma that is fresh, flowery, sweet, and not soapy. It's delicate, well-balanced, and well-blended. Beautiful and AMAZING!!

I really love this perfume. It's so creamy and warm and delicious without being about any one thing in particular. I have really good luck with Boucheron's newer offerings including Jaipur Bracelet which I vaguely get from this perfume but this one is softer and more nondescript. Easy to wear and calming fragrance; you just smell good and feel good without smelling strongly of anything in particular. Love it.

This is a light, slightly sweet citrus with florals in the background. I have the Jaipur perfume that it is compared to, but I don’t see that at all. That one is very clean/green. I have smelled Libre L'Absolu Platine by Yves Saint Laurent, and it is similar. However, I prefer that one because of the clean, crispness. It is similar though. I like this perfume and have gotten compliments on it. It is very light though. This completely disappears on skin after an hour or two. After around three, it is hard to smell on clothes. Edit: In the deep dry down, I get a vague sense of the Bracelet perfume. This is a safe perfume for those that like citrusy florals.

I notice some lemon in the top notes. Inoffensive fresh and sweet white floral, maybe a bit generic but makes for an easy grab and go for day time. Muskyness in the drydown goes a little bit dryer sheet but not too intensely. Longevity is on the poor side, only about 3-4 hours on my skin. I'd put this into the same "genre" as some of my all time, day- time, inoffensive favorites such as EA Sunflowers Dream Petals, Versace Bright Crystal, BDK Bouquet de Hongrie, MFK Aqua Universalis (AU is still my fav. in this grouping), or even Ex Nihilo Fleur Narcotique. Just easy to wear, easy to love, and I'd probably wear any of them for the same occasions.

This is pretty. I don't know what a lot of those "Reminds me of" perfumes smell like except, Roberto Cavalli, no, this is WAY softer & creamier, I can't even wear my Roberto Cavalli. Alien, NO I HATE that perfume, not even close, & Bronze Goddess Nuit. Nope. This is like a nice body spray, def doesn't last. It's cheap, it was a blind buy. I'm not disappointed, but I won't repurchase, or get rid of it. OH! I've smelled Pure Poison a million times, never owned it, but it doesn't smell like that either. Maybe it's the initial blast that resembles it, but that lasts 2 seconds. It's just "Safe" those other ones are not.

This is a relatively unknown gem. It is such a beautiful fragrance. First spray was ... mm.. ok, nothing special. But the dry-down is AMAZING!! That is when you smell the beautiful flowers, and also you get whiffs of orange blossom and some vanilla at the base. It is strong but not overpowering. When it warms with your body chemistry, it just blooms. Fresh floral, light and aromatic but strong and stays for hours. I can still smell myself when I get off an 9-hr work shift. I love to layer with Armani Si to get more vanilla. PLUS, it is very inexpensive. Around $25USD for a bottle.

Oh, I really like this! I mainly get the frangipani flower which immediately makes me think of Hawaii, Tahiti, Fiji, Mexico. You get the idea. A sunny tropical holiday scent. I have it on today and can’t quite sniffing myself. Although I also have on Light Blue Sun with it - which reinforces the citrus and frangipani and adds the coconut element. An inexpensive gem. And a beautiful bottle as well.

Pretty! That's it and nothing more. A bit too powdery for me. Love the orange blossom in there but it dissipates so quickly without having any chance to change and develop. After 2 hours it just turns into a powdery floral skin scent without any distinguishable notes. All that being said, it's worth it for the price I've seen it online.

Just got it 2 days ago. Im not sure but its not light, it turns powdery and doesn’t project. Its pretty strong but it fades fast!

02/07/23: We know that we each experience fragrances differently, due to cellular differences in our noses and brains. Of course I'm aware most people currently prefer a heavier set of molecules in the bases of their fragrances, such as woody notes or patchouli. I am not usually a fan of those base notes. So these days, I use the "Search by Notes" feature of Fragrantica to find fragrances: you can also search based on notes you want to exclude. It's brilliant. That's how I decided to blind buy Boucheron Fleurs. I've worn this new-to-me fragrance yesterday and today. To my nose it's a creamy floral scent, that is slightly sweet. I like it overall, and I'm happy I've added it to my collection. I sense a slightly bitter citrus peel note. I'd prefer it if that note wasn't there. But it's light enough that it doesn't bother me. We'll call it the base note. LOL! I tend to prefer lighter, greener, less sweet floral fragrances during hot weather. I think I'll likely prefer to wear Boucheron Fleurs during shoulder seasons, especially spring. And given this is a fairly simple accord, I look forward to using it as a layering fragrance. I'm happy with this blind buy. Yaay! 🦋🧡🦋 03/17/23: First thing this morning, while on the main floor, I put four sprays of Fleurs Boucheron on my arms. My partner said the fragrance drifted upstairs to wake him, which he found pleasant. We both agreed with this imagery from the composite accord: You just sat down to breakfast at a beautiful resort, where the scent of tropical flowers drifts around you. You're taking your first bite of a buttery croissant that has a tiny amount of realistic orange marmalade inside. You're surprised, but pleased, the breakfast is not overly sweet. You even notice a touch of rind in the marmalade. Then you awaken from the dream and realize you're wearing this fragrance.

About the strength and performance of a body spray. A weak body spray. Extremely soft mild scent that is absolutely “office safe.” Mostly I get lemon. A tiny bit of a musky generic floral. I love tropical and white flowers, I can’t exactly tell what flower scent this is. Orange note and orange flowers seem to vanish on me quite fast-not in all perfumes, but I’m not getting any orange flower here at all despite it being a top rated note. I just get straight lemon. Doesn’t strike me as tropical, more like a lightly scented soap. Very mild and well blended. Dries down to a light citrus forward lightly floral fresh musk. Not very unique. It’s super affordable. I blind bought this because I love Quentin Bisch but this doesn’t exactly feel like any of his other fragrances I’ve tried. Maybe like a super light Valaya. I’m not utterly devastated by this purchase as it was cheaper than many samples of some of the higher end fragrances he’s designed, but I can’t really see myself grabbing it when I have so many more exciting options. It’s a pretty safe grab for daily wear by women who don’t want a strong or obnoxious perfume and enjoy light, simple, easy scents. Office safe. Feminine and pretty. Update-this smells somewhat similar to PDM Valaya (same perfumer) but this doesn’t have a strong musk and this feels like a body spray compared to the concentration of Valaya. Valaya has stronger florals as well, though mostly that “petalia” note.

This is a classical, even retro-vintage perfume, but it is not a classic citrus DNA. Don’t expect something fresh, because this is primarily a floral DNA fragrance with citrus accents, not the other way around. I find it suitable for all seasons and more appropriate for evening wear than daytime. Even though Quentin Bisch is behind Fleurs, this is not a safe blind buy for everyone. After all, this is not a signature Quentin Bisch creation, but rather a fragrance that feels very true to the Boucheron house style. After the top notes, I sense something heavy, yet intriguing. It is definitely not boring and does not truly resemble anything else. I honestly can’t understand comments like “it reminds me of X or Y” when it comes to this perfume. Yes, you could say that fragrances with lemon top notes belong to the same olfactory family, but that does not make them similar in DNA. This is great if you want a non sweet floral. It’s very pleasant and innofensive. Just a pretty scent that is basic yet different enough it does stand out from most modern floral frags in that it isn’t super sweet or overly fruity. I don’t pick up vanilla at all. The citrus is not to loud in my opinion once you let it breathe a bit. About 15 minutes in it settles into a mostly floral with a clean citrus vibe with just a hint of green that makes me think of vines or the stem of fresh cut flowers. I do get the tropical flowers coming in and It’s got an airy quality too. On me it’s strongish but not heavy. Just light and airy feeling to it. On me it dries down to a slightly waxy or creamy with a ever so slight powdery finish (maybe that powdery-ness is the supposed vanilla people are saying is in here.) The waxy or creamy note reminds me of the “milk” that bleeds out of dandelion stems if you can imagine that type of smell. Not a sweet creamy smell more green than sweet. I hope it makes sense what I’m trying to relay with words. The floral and citrus remains throughout. I really enjoy mixing it with another “freshy” fragrance that I own to add a bit of depth. It’s a simple enough fragrance that it does work well for layering with other scents. It’s a nice reach when I want to smell fresh yet feminine. It’s got a youthful carefree and ladylike vibe and I can imagine this shining in spring or summer something I have yet to try, but I’m wearing it today during the winter to put me in a good mood as I’m over the cold and the snow and it is giving spring garden in bloom after a good rain. I can’t wait to try this out as the weather warms up. Projection is arms length and longevity is about four to five hrs on me before it fades to a skin scent. Still not bad for the price.

I’m smelling something very different from others it seems! I held off of blind buying this for ages but the reviews here changed my mind. Sadly I should have gone with my gut this time! Very shampooey and sharp flowers is all I get from this. It makes my nose tingle..... Possibly just not my sort of floral (or only works in warm weather!) but just in case you’re fussy about florals - as I admittedly am - I get the opposite to most other reviewers here! I don’t find this at all sweet, get no noticeable vanilla, the citrus and florals are super sharp and it smells incredibly soapy to me. It doesn’t get better in the drydown either! Think I’m in the minority with this one. My chemistry just isn’t having any of it!

I was expecting a floral fragrance with vanilla and pear. Perhaps it's because it's a hot day today but all I'm getting is benzoin and a touch of vanilla. In the drydown it has become resinous, and very powdery. I'm disappointed with this. However, it may be my skin chemistry or the hot weather today so I will revisit this when the weather is cooler I think.

I had hopes for this because this opened a very pretty floral/white floral, not the dominant white floral, but opened as a white floral nicely blend with a soft pretty general floral. Opened very feminine and soft and pretty. But within an hour, this on me turns a basic white floral. I do catch whiffs of a soft light citrus and a light yellow floral on occasion, but this to me is ultimately and mainly a basic white floral. Pretty, but I have lots of similar white florals. Puts me in mind of along the lines of Jessica McClintock, the OG Michael Kors, Anais Anais, Kai, Alien, Songes, Poeme, Carnal Flower...etc...those types. This is not a screeching white floral on me, so I'll give it that. It's pretty, just not anything earth-shattering to my nose. Reminds me of a classy stay at home suburban mom who has a housekeeper type of perfume....Nice, pleasant, soft, clean, inoffensive, but ultimately boring BTDT to my nose. If I were to briefly describe this, I would say a basic white floral with moderate sillage and longevity. Nice, just very much been there done that, do we really need another..? And why the masculine looking blue bottle. *sigh* Nice, just disappointed. Just another "Here we go again" basic white floral in an ugly masculine looking bottle IMHO.

well i got this yesterday & i thought it would be a bit stronger like my other boucheron scents but on me its a rather quiet scent.............very low key & safe........i know nowhere in the description it says aquatic but on me it comes off as an aquatic floral............maybe its the citrus & pear that give that effect & in my mind that seems aquatic lol................ over all nice scent but not my favorite in the line & to me i think the blue bottle represents it well - i associate blue with water so there you go aquatic flowers lol :) and just a side note...........i love a lot of boucheron scents.........the original is amazing........the quatre line so classic & pretty........the vendome line very wearable & classy.....the jaipur line amazing..........so in the scope of things this one particular scent fell a bit short compared to the quality of all their other scents.........

This is lovely, I really like it, it is like a creamy floral , with a fresh vanilla undertone...I detect the orange blossom, this is a nice creation, nice release from Boucheron, it isn't projecting like crazy, but it lingers nicely...the mix of fresh and warm is really well constructed, the only thing for me is I don't get the blue bottle, it looks masculine, and doesn't really represent the aura of this feminine perfume, pink would have been better .stilll the juice inside is really good !! It isn't youngish, or oldish , just a modern charming easy to like perfume...it isn't like sooo unique , but it smells so nice, but it is too soft .

An absolutely gorgeous fresh fragrance with depth. So whimsical and I cannot stop smelling my wrist. Full bottle worthy and so affordable. I detect, very slightly, some of the original DNA from the original Boucheron edp (same bottle shape) for women which is absolutely addicting. I first smelt the original edp juice back in the 90's on a a very glamorous, beautiful friend and have dreamt about it ever since. It epitomised her and now I own both bottles the original and now fleur and am so in love!! Will always have these in my collection. Xx

Agreed with genny17, the blue coloured bottle is rather deceiving (also, reminds me of Shalimar quite a bit): the fragrance as such is young, floral, definitely on the sweeter side, notes that I’d associate with warm colours, such as yellow or orange. A great scent for summer, since frangipani and pear are definitely very prominent, on the other hand I don’t get much orange blossom. The sillage is decent. Boucheron Fleurs is a uniquely feminine fragrance that radiates happiness.

I get milky flowers from this. I think the lactonic note is there to mimic the sap of the frangipani plant, which is quite a cool idea. It's a pleasant enough fragrance, I am growing to like it more considering I wasn't initially impressed. You can buy this and not worry about it's quality, or if it would offend anyone as it's a safe kind of floral fragrance. I would say good for the office, though I prefer wearing it to bed.

I rarely leave reviews, but I wanted to save someone from buying this because it would be a total waste of money. It's a pretty scent, but there is zero projection, and the scent is gone within an hour. And I don't have a problem with my skin eating scents up, at all. I honestly could see no reason to buy this. SO disappointing.

There is no citrus :) A musky floral. Delicate, soft, very inviting. Smells like a lovely baby blue colour. Ever so slightly powdery. Just a tiny bit sweet. Light and elegant. Also somewhat creamy. Very dreamy :D hey that rhymed! I really like it... might buy a bottle while it is so affordable!

To me this a beautiful floral more than citrus. Sadly, it is lost on my skin after 30 minutes or so, which is a shame. Definitely a skin scent. After the first blast, it reminded me a bit of Le Parfum Resort Collection 2017, for a fleeting moment, but they are nothing alike it turns out.

I love Boucheron, a real classic fragrance. I am digging the blue color of the juice and the pretty name and box. I think this will be a good start. I also see a lot of flankers in the future to come for the original Boucheron, but I don't care, let them come, I love perfumes! haha

A nice warm floral. Not overly sweet. Similar to Shiseido‘s Rising Sun. It is not my cup of tea, but it is pleasant. Try it if you want a different kind of floral. Sillage and longevity are average. Main note to my nose is frangipani.

I remember smelling it and falling in love with it immediately. It brought back memories of Max Mara by Max Mara, but this one is more floral. Soft fresh lemon cake mixed with a flower bouquet.

Reminds me a little bit of Burberry Women but super airy, light and lacking of lasting power. You’ll need to overspray this. Beautiful bottle though. Just an okay scent.

Smells like chloe lovestory and very citrusy. You need to love citrus a lot but for me this is a pass. Good longevity and sillage though

I adore the original Boucheron, a true 80's masterpiece. This modernized version sounds intriguing. Can't wait to try it!

This perfume on me scent exactly the same as chanel eau tendre. So smell great
