Boucheron pour Homme Collector Eau de Parfum

This is another fragrance from my collection that I’ve never seen mentioned on YouTube, despite how wonderful it is. I know rose might not be the most popular note for men’s scents, but if you love rose, this is definitely worth checking out. This is not to be confused with the regular Boucheron Pour Homme, which comes in a transparent bottle and has light amber-colored fragrance. What I’m reviewing comes in an opaque white bottle with a slightly different cap. According to Fragrantica, the notes are: on the top, we have orange, lavender, mandarin orange, basil, lemon verbena, bergamot, and lemon; in the middle, there’s carnation, orris root, jasmine, ylang-ylang, lily-of-the-valley, and rose; and in the base, there’s sandalwood, tonka bean, amber, musk, benzoin, oakmoss, vetiver, and incense. It was released in 2013 and as is advertised as having “25th anniversary packaging.” As I said, I realize that rose can be a tricky accord for men. It can easily turn into a floral bomb. And while this is definitely a rose-based fragrance, I think it stays far away from that line. The top notes of verbena and bergamot die away within a matter of seconds to give way to a lush, powdery, heady rose. The scent packs a punch in the beginning (it is an EDP concentration), but it develops into something softer and smoother with time. As far as performance goes, I usually get around eight hours, which means that most guys will get a bit more. It offers wonderful projection for at least a few hours, but doesn’t overtly invade others’ personal space, so I think you can wear to work fairly safely. Some guys might find this daring because of the boldness of the rose. Once I reach the middle notes, at least on my skin, it stops developing. There’s a lot of musk all the way through, but I never get to a dark, earthy base like the oakmoss and vetiver would insinuate that I would. I blind-bought this, thinking that it would be the regular Boucheron Pour Homme, and when I fisted sprayed it, I knew it was something completely different. It was advertised as just the EDP version. I never thought something so rose-dominant would do anything for me, but this is up there with some of the most sophisticated, worldly things I’ve ever smelled. While I think there is a masculine tinge to it, because this is what it is, I think women would be able to wear this just as easily as men.

I just smelled this a few months ago when I received a 2ml. sample of this from an online fragrance discounter. Thought nothing of it and let it stand in my fragrance cabinet until about a week or so ago. What a mistake. This is simply magnificent and to imagine that a fragrance that has ties to decades back where soapy, oak moss, florals and expertly woven spices can still exist and be superbly presented in this manner is astounding. The sweet & gourmand crap chasers that can’t understand this are just oblivious to a time where master perfumery was all about balance & quality. Yes, it fits more for the mature crowd but, a young man that has his shiett together can wear this with confidence and sophistication without being pretentious nor obnoxious. A master class of creation that harkens to days when a perfumes creator was at the top of their game in combing ingredients to near perfection. One has to appreciate the perfume era of the late 70’s, 80’s & early 90’s to appreciate Boucheron Pour Homme eau de parfum. This is not dated but, rather a timeless classic along the lines of Oscar Pour Lui, Chanel’s Pour Monsieur, Dior Dune Pour Homme and others of that genre that exude confident & exquisitely mannered Gentlemen. The price of entry is amazingly affordable for what one gets. I’ve asked the fragrance gods to forgive my insolence and arrogance at not accepting this beauty sooner. I bought 3 bottles asap. I hope they are appeased. I also picked up 2 bottles of Fraicheur as that goes just a bit lighter & fresher with a tinge of more sweetness. Masterpiece as well. If you consider yourself a Gentleman, don’t sleep on this....

It merges citrus, woody and aromatic fougere styles into a complex and very aromatic fragrance. This blends citrus, wood, fresh, aromatic, citrus, rose, herbal, spice and oakmoss aromas into a fresh and masculine cologne with a soapy drydown. That user base, however, is not likely to include younger users who prefer the more modern sweet and fresh fragrance DNA. This is very masculine and potent and leans very much towards older male users who are likely already fans and users of aromatic fougeres. This is a great change of pace for them. Performance is quite strong and the presentation is beautiful, if perhaps a touch outdated. Note that due to its strength, this may come off as lemon wood furniture or glass cleaner to some noses. Go easy on the sprays with this one. This is great for work and formal occasions, even somber ones. It comes off as very classy and fresh. Highly recommended.

I looked at my fragrance collection and I noticed I sprayed 3/4 of my bottle of Boucheron pour Homme edp to my suprise. And that is not for nothing. This is such a jewel of classic French perfumery. It smells like old times but these are times in the past that are very important and contain precious memories for me. Walking the streets of Paris in the eighties and nineties from museums to lovely shops and from warehouses and fashion boutiques to churches, cafes, restaurants and parks. This is pure elegant romantics in a bottle. The more I smell it the more I love it. The powdery citrus orange start, the flowers and the musk with patchouli and spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. The performance is great, the drydown wonderful. The presentation is old fashioned but suits the content and the stylish elegance. And the price is unbelievable for such quality. Simply a jewel!

I have the perfume version of this but not in the collectors bottle. I must say that I am very, very impressed with this scent. What a fantastic perfume for the price that is it available online. I love barbershop style fragrances that where around in the 80's & early 90's and this is way up there scent wise & it lasts a good 6 -7 hours on my skin. To my nose it is Lemon with Vetiver, Moss & Sandalwood that are the main players with the other compositions hidden in the background , but necessary to achieve this masterpiece. It smells Devine & is what a true gentleman would wear. Crazy low prices for this niche quality fragrance & backup bottle worthy in my opinion.

Encore! Jaipur gets the media but this is the Boucheron's coup de gras! I cannot believe that this citrus - woody - aromatic is currently rated less than a 4 on Fragrantica. It is a clean, fresh, citrus, vetiver fougere. Each of the notes are clearly recognizable and yet create a harmonic symphony. What a delicious experience as it unfolds. I don't buy backup bottles since there is a lifetime of new scent experiences waiting, but this one is incredibly tempting! I have three of their fragrances including Quatre Nuit and will continue to buy all of their masculine parfums.

I have this in a clear bottle eau de parfum. I bought it long ago and had forgotten about it until I looked into the drawer I put it in to protect it from light since it is a clear bottle. With it being summer and hot this is perfect. So glad I came across it at the right time. Look forward to using tomorrow and in the future. Amazing citrus scent. As the post below me says. Perfect class.

Lovely fragrance. A very fresh soapy citrus with florals. Lasts ages and projects well too. Reminds me of a super potent 1881 by Cerruti. One of the brightest, freshest perfumes that I have put on. When you are all squeaky clean after a shower - spray this on and you with go to a new level of freshness. I love this lots and it's fabulous for Summertime.

Boucheron E D Parfum smells like Boucheron E D T plus more rose which make it more elegant. Also reminds me Aramis 900 but Aramis 900 has even more rose that makes it more noble. I love all 3 of them.! It is a citrus - rose, pleasant, masculine perfume for any occasion.

This is a lovely citrus. A bit earthy but with a nice character. I notice the perfumer is Raymond Chaillin who produced YSL Pour Homme. Possibly my favourite of all time. This is not unlike it.

This is magical to me .. how could sparking sharp citrusy dry down to such creamy musky woods sort of soap.. all at 30$ for 100 ml brilliant Boucheron 👍🏻

Does anyone know if the EDP in the clear bottle is the same juice as this just in a different bottle?

This fragrance was my blind buy. I'm not disappointed. It's one original creation of this house but there is just something missing in my case. If I wear some fragrance, it's not to collect compliments cause I feel myself cool so I don't need confirmations, but I need a smile on my face, I have to feel young, chic, or luxurious and classy, elegant. In short- I don't get this formula from this bottle. This bottle gives me from the opening on some old school floral note. In my opinion too strong for me. 4 hours later it begins to be smoother but still, for me too long to wait. It just makes me much older than I am. Maybe in 20 years, sorry. My girlfriend doesn't like it too. She has the pretty same opinion- for older gentlemen perfect. In my opinion, this fragrance suits perfectly for classy gentlemen 50+ in a nice suite. Longevity ***** Sillage *** For the hole composition 7/10 (it's not its fault I'm too young for it)

شروع این عطر با یک تم کلاسیک و صابونی همراه هست که حالتی تند تلخ و ترش داره حدود 30 درصد حالتش شبیه به آزارو پور هم هست نه اینکه رایحش شبیه باشه بوی لیمو در این عطر خیلی تازه نشون نمیده در هر حال رایحش قوی هست . بعد از مدتی یکم بوی لیمو تازه تر جلوه میده در نت میانی رو به نت پایه ، عطر شبیه به بوی کرم آبی فلزی نیوا میشه . این حالت رو در مقظعی از بازی نت های بولگاری من میشه حس کرد . انگار کرم نیوا رو با یه نت اسپایسی تند و تلخ ترکیب کرده باشند ماندگاری عطر خیلی خوبه پخش بوش برای یه عطر خنک مناسب هست چیزی که نهایتا روی پوست باقی خواهد ماند یه بوی خامه ای مشک و یه بوی عجیب و غریب کثیف مانند که ضعیف هست و همچنین بوی خیلی خیلی ضعیف شده از نت های قبلی در کل اگر به عطرای خنک و ترش و تند علاقه دارید حتما تستش کنید

Reviewing the regular EDP not the "Collector" edition. The perfume opens with a lot of citrus with a touch of sweetness and creaminess. The citrus smell does not go away instead it is added with some florals and spices on the drydown. I can also smell the oakmoss, patchouli, vetiver and musk on the background.

A slightly more rose focused version of Boucheron pour Homme. It's pretty nice, but I think I prefer the original. Doesn't last too long on skin for me, only about 4 hours. Projection is moderate to weak. Grab it if you like Boucheron pour Homme. This version is cheap too. Makes for a good cheap spring/fall fragrance.

Not gonna lie, I had high expectations after falling in love with Jaipur, but this one is kind of a let-down. Way too weird, old-school but not cool aroma, I'd put it in the same category as some Old Spice aftershaves from the past, that my dad used to put on.

I've tried to like this but it smells like an industrial restroom cleaner to me and I can't get past that.

There must be something wrong with my bottle because to me it smells like a cheap ladies perfume from the 80s.

For some reason, I'm getting a diaper smell. Don't like it at all. Jaipur is good, this is bad.
