Quatre en Bleu

This is so lovely. floral fresh woody citrus, in that order. So refined and uplifting, has a gentle woodiness that truly balances it out. I find all of the notes are there but the woodiness and the little bit of citrus keeps it from being screechy floral. It's honestly perfect. And a bit unique without being out there or revolutionary. Minimal projection, after an hr maybe I find that it's a skin scent, but rest assured it will be there, quietly, all day.

I tried this today in the shop, so far it seemed pretty mild and uninteresting. Nice, inoffensive, but a little bit boring. I smelled the jasmine, which was alright, but it wasn't very strong. For the price they asked... ugh, didn't this use be a cheaper brand? I'll try it again, but maybe I won't even be bothered. But it's not horrible! This is between the neutral and half smiling smiley.

One of my favorite perfumes from Boucheron. Good for office and an easy day at home. For me I didn't smell rose or woody tone, but mostly jasmine and neroli from top to dry down. Warning: one or two spray might be good, since it's a rather dull neroli scent, not a fresh one (which sometimes can give you headache on a cloudy or rainy day). It lasts so well, 12 hours and still going strong.

My apologies Sonia - you're still ♥ This perfume smells amazing it is so damn sexy and creamy on my skin! But it takes approximately 4 hours to smell good! I'm not sure how am I supposed to wear it if I only like it after 4 hours Edit: I bought a few Fruit Company EDTs, 40ml, super cheap less than €3, I use the cherry 🍒 to layer with this one Superbly delicious

I no longer have it in my collection. Trying to downsize it. This is a fresh floral-woody scent, smells niche i.e. Not mainstream, despite the white flowers, it's quite unisex in my opinion.

First Spray: "Okay, good - it's not horrible." After Five Minutes: "Wow, it's still really not horrible." After Half An Hour: "I think I might actually like this!" I recently tested two other Boucheron scents (including Quatre) and found both to be headache-inducers for me, both were super perfume-y and an unpleasant mature-sweet. So I was really relieved and pleasantly surprised that this one turned out to be quite distinct. It's a more mature scent, for sure, but En Bleu smells fresh and clean. It doesn't have the sweetness or the old-school-perfume-i-ness I was wary about. To my surprise, I actually quite like this one. I can't see myself wearing it every day, but maybe at special occasions where I especially want to be perceived as a grown up... (-: UPDATE: After 1+ hours smell really changed. Now it's kind of peppery and much more masculine. What an unusual fragrance. So interesting. Just not sure it's me.

Shampoo!!! Testing from a sample spray and that's the first thought that popped into my head. Even an hour later it still smells that way to me. Whew! So glad I opted to get a sample instead of bb a bottle of this. It is not anything I thought it would be from the note profile. What a waste of ingredients only to have it come out smelling like shampoo. Boy, I'm so disappointed in this one. It clearly is not up to Boucheron's standards. Edit – 2 hours later and that shampoo note finally dissipated but it really spoiled the rest of the composition for me. Edit - Who is choosing the perfumes for the This Reminds Me Section? This smells nothing like CK Beauty. Zero, Zilch, Nada. I love that perfume, and this smells nothing like that - AT ALL. For that matter, it doesn't smell much like the rest of them either. Fracas? Really?! A bottle of Prell Shampoo should be up there, because that's what this reminds me of. All I can think is that what people are putting there has to be a joke.

Hmm...My experience w this fragrance is quite different from the previous reviews here. Initial spray I get a citrusy jasmine/tuberose combo which is nice. As it settles it kinda turns into a salty almost neroli type scent with woody undertones. I had to keep sniffing my shirt because the scent changed so much Id forgotten what fragrance Id applied. I think the akigalawood is the most prominent note in the drydown, and I think its unique how this scent changed w the warmth of my body temp. I cant even really smell the tuberose or Jasmine anymore which I dont mind. In the end it turns into a woody neroli w a saltiness that appears out of nowhere. This fragrance smells much more expensive than its selling price!

There's a funny sharpness to the top notes, which is quite 80s. I could see this perfume doing well back then, oddly enough. It's pleasant, quite a bit of tuberose on me, when I'd hoped more for the jasmine, but it's nothing out of the ordinary. Pleasant, inoffensive and a decent enough lab/office fragrance.
