La Captivante

This was a great surprise. I've wanted to try some Iris fragrance as I never had one till now and I am pleasantly surprised as it smells wonderful! It opens up a bit strong and you can feel the grapefruit above a very delicious sweetness. After the grapefruit settles down in about 2 minutes you are left with a juicy sweetness and it is very hard to describe what it reminds me of but it is very sweet but at the same time fresh and not overwhelming, maybe jellybean candies? Anyway I can recommend this as a great sweet fragrance for those who like sweets but want to avoid sickly sweet scents. It stays for about 3h as a very nice and delicious sweet cloud so performance and silage are nice for the price of 12 Eur on sale. I can't say I can discern any florals (maybe iris is the sweetness?) and there is very little powder. Also you cannot over spray - I did 12 prays once and it was still nice but 3-5 sprays is enough.

Surprisingly lobe at first sniff....creamy iris with non bitter, non screechy, non fresh butvruather mellow juicy sweet grapefruit and lots of vanilla in the background rather than musk. I have yet to found out what this is supposed to dupe, smells kinda familiar and very modern. Silage on clothes pretty decent for a cheapie, on longevity I will have to report later but all bourjois "eau de parfums" from this line behave as eau de colognes or even body sprays so I'm not having high hopes for this one either, nonetheless I'm very happy with my completely random blind buy (as it was on offer pretty cheap so I figured why not) 😻😍🤩 love 💕 Edit: Fragrantica got the notes wrong - this is 💯 iris, not iris root!! As I hate Oris root but love iris, this one is pure iris, unmistakably plus on the official Bourjois.com site they listet iris instead of orris root as well.
