Cowboy Kush (2025)

I love this fragrance. Can’t smell the cannabis in it, and I smoke a lot, but that’s fine. This stuff truly makes you feel like the coolest cowboy. You feel expensive with this effortlessly, and it’s no surprise given the notes. The oud smells fantastic, and it adds the mystery. Smells like rustic luxury if that makes sense. The leather makes it lean more masculine in my opinion. Its intensity is strong for like 2 hours then it quickly turns into a skin scent which is ok. The bottle is quirky and interesting. Sprayer is trash and pretty delicate. Overall, it’s good juice. More of an evening scent in my opinion just because it’s so rich.

To the extent I use it anymore, it's a room spray. You don't really get any cannabis skunk-y smell; to the extent there are any plant notes, it smells like a tomato plant. Mostly, it's this really strong sand-y suede-y smell, one that's ok sometimes but not always. Where a lot of the other Boy Smells things in their sample set are really light, this is heavy, and you can smell it from a mile away. My biggest issue is that after a while, if I'm smelling it 24/7 (i.e. if I'm wearing it), the suede smell gives me a bit of a headache and can be overpowering after awhile on my skin.

sour. stinky. sharp. sweaty, sweaty, sweaty. its smells like weed but weed from my highschool where i could smell it from a dude's backpack. the first smell fo this freaked me out, i thought i would smell like i had bad BO. but as it dries down, it becomes more of this leathery musky smell. a little like BO? yes. do i think some could own this? yes. i like it, but probably not for wearing out. you will for sure feel like a cowboy though, if that's what you're into! a cowboy who's been out on his horse in his chaps and smoking and reeking in the texas sun. in a good(?) way.

What makes a leather note "white"? Marketing? This first gave me toasted hazelnut and some kind of leather, and a brief weed skunkiness. I didn't get much tonka. This is a bit funky for, say, office wear, but it does smell nice.

I bought the Boy Smells sample set largely bc I was intrigued by the cannabis note, even though it's not something I would usually wear or seek out. However, I was raised by a single mother who followed the Grateful Dead, so my entire childhood was weed scented. Weed, nag champa, dragon's blood incense. This was disappointing to me, perhaps the people at Boy Smells have never smelled the resinous skunk of my mother's stash jar, but I don't smell cannabis, just indie boy cologne. Perhaps I will have to make my own fragrance called "Hippy Mom" that isn't afraid to go there.

Suede was the first thing I smelled, followed by cannabis, leather, and tobacco. If the mandarin orange had been more prominent on my skin, it probably would have been more palatable. This fragrance is "It Girl at Stagecoach". Great story for what it is, just not for me!

Boozy, sour weed (love) then straight up leather jacket with nothing else going on. It feels dated. Nothing to differentiate this from a traditional men's cologne that's been on on the shelves for decades.

The original formula was so nice, but this stuff makes me nauseous. I don't get migraines from perfume often, but this one is an instant headache. #bummer

I wanted to like this so badly, but something about the combination of the suede and the hazelnut smells heinous on me.

this shit smells evil. like genuinely freaky. only a freak would wear this i swear it to you. weed that has been absorbed into every inch of an old truck. guy that won’t stop smoking in his truck and also won’t take a shower.

I do enjoy this scent though I prefer the candle. It doesn’t really give a typical leather scent, the patchouli and something else (maybe the ‘clementine-oud-tonka?’) give a bit of a juicy thickness .. like wet leather but ins good-ish way? Kind of dirty sexy but also a bit basic. I do love the new bottles, the glasswork is great and they feel great in the hand. The sort of mason jar meets warm water bottle campiness of it is really charming and well done. Major upgrade from those silly black caps on generic stock bottles they previously had.

smells like rolling a backwood in your grandmas house in her expensive, worn leather couch. That being said I really enjoy this. very unique fragrance will have to give this a few more wears

It’s got the funk that I like. Also the suede married well with the mandarin. Dries down to a smooth vanillic hazelnut.
