Lycheelicious Body Mist

I've been looking for a dupe of Cheirosa '68, as I loved my bottle to death and she's on her last legs- and I'm not super hyped to spend $40 on a small bottle of body mist. I came across BOY SMELLS Lycheelicious in a TJ Maxx and was immediately intrigued by the lychee name. So, I'll be heavily comparing it to Cheirosa '68. The MSRP of the large bottles for both brands are the same- though BOY SMELLS will come with many more ounces compared to '68. I also got mine heavily discounted, about half off. On first spritz, I absolutely hated it. So much. That muskiness was just overpowering. I let it settle and after a minute, the lychee and peony came out. I gave it a second chance. And, I ended up getting it. The bottle is cute and it comes with a quite good amount- though if you take it on the go, you'll need to have a larger bag- it won't fit in a small purse. Pros: -Like other reviewers said, it's great for post-workout or when you're really sweaty. I smelled it on my skin after I came into the store after an outdoor yoga class. It's very sweet and fruity-tart- scents which were historically used to cover up body odor. -It smells good- reminiscent of my favorite scent. -The bottle is large, my largest body spray, and I like how it's packaged. The cap is thick and doesn't seem like it'll pop off in a bag easily. Cons: -It cannot completely replace my Cheirosa '68. Yes, the floral and fruity vibe is overall similar, but Lycheelicious is a much simpler fragrance in terms of scent notes- rather than possessing the intoxicating and sedating notes of jasmine, hibiscus, and vanilla of '68, it simply lists a peony note, which is noticeable. -The musk base is gross, and though that off-putting scent went away shortly after my first spritz, it clings to my skin the longest over time. This can be absolved by spraying MORE to re-up that fruity and floral scent, and eventual nose blindness. After letting it settle on my skin- it's a near identical scent profile to '68, just lacking that ocean air and sweet floral quality that '68 will have-however, Lycheelicious wins in terms of scent longevity on my skin, and I mean, they're both body sprays. The notes blend together over time, and body sprays are meant to be spritzed a lot and reapplied when desired. I'm surprised that I haven't seen anybody online draw a comparision between them yet. I'd say if you're looking for a dupe of '68, this fragrance will have you covered- and you can feel free to douse yourself in it as much as you want with the bigger bottle. I highly coveted my Cheirosa '68 bottle, as it's my favorite body spray, but Lycheelicious will do until I replace them both.

Fruity and floral, great for a quick spritz after the gym or freshening up in the summer time. Strong and long lasting but not complex and maybe overpowering. Very sad that my bottle was stolen out of my car. I think people say it's feminine because it's pink and has the floral note, but I enjoyed wearing it just as a lighter, fresher scent in the summer and did not find it remarkably feminine.

I would describe it as sweet lychee with a touch of peony. Definitely a sweet fruity floral. It treads the line between being fun and a little immature. As a woman in her 30s, I will only wear this in the summer, to casual events, or times when I want to feel a bit young and girly. This is a beast of body spray in both projection and longevity. It performs better than a lot of perfumes. I put on 5-ish spritzes, a couple on my hair and a couple on my body/clothes, and while wearing it at a party I left a trail of fragrance. I was even smelling it the next day.

Smells great in the summer, but only the summer. Needs the heat to really activate.

When I first read the packaging on my bottle I thought “🙄 oh great the base note is a musk ☹️” but I was pleasantly surprised because it could be worse. The package also reads “olfactive family: Floral” but it reads more fruity to me which is great! I’m not huge on florals and the peony here is subtle. I like this for anytime I’m sweaty, or know that I’m going to get sweaty. It takes specific conditions for me to want to wear tart fruity scents, hot weather and sweat are some of them. Tangy fruit scents work magic at disguising that lightly acidic (“sour”) thing that overly sweaty skin can get. This is great for post workouts when you have errands and can’t run home to shower. But then again it’s a little musky for my purposes. Edit: I take it back! It’s so musky! I don't know how I said it's not, it's definitively very musky. But at least it’s musky in a sweet, bergamot kinda way. tbh reminds me of dedcool's xtra milk minus the amber, so imagine that plus lychee/peony and you know approximately what this smells like. Edit 10/10/25: I'm gonna give this away bc I just don't like this! To be fair I don't hate it either, but between the peony and the intense muskiness, I am not excited or even interested in wearing it. Maybe if I lived somewhere hot and humid it would be a different story and I'd make use of it. I do so very much adore the packaging for these body sprays tho, they're so cool! Looks like a xany bar but hot pink and huge, the embossed lettering feels so cool aswell.

As someone in her late 20s, this is very reminiscent of my adolescence and I'm here for it! It feels like a slightly more sophisticated version of a perfume from my teenage years. The opening note is a nostalgic blend of sweet, fruity, and floral however to me it does dry down to more sweet, fruity, and musky. My only complaint is that I wish the floral note lasted as long as the other notes. Overall, a very solid body mist!! Very nostalgic and just smells delightful. Very youthful and the longevity is honestly better than most perfumes I own.
