Rosy Cheeks

This is nowhere near as revolutionary or adventurous of a fragrance as the brand's original scents - that much is true. That said, does that make this any less of an enjoyable fragrance? I don't think so. It's a fun, bright, Lip Smackers-adjacent ode to a Y2K smellscape brought into 2025 rather nicely. It's a fruitier, juicier take on rose; the rose is actually nowhere near as overpowering as rose can sometimes lean on me, and I think that it comes out favorably when I compare it against Rose Load from the original BS line, even though they are two very different scents all together. I wish the jammy berry/pomegranate open lasted a bit longer on me, but in the dry down it comes back a bit rather than just turning into a total one-note amber/sandalwood snooze fest of a finish. It serves the exact purpose I wanted it to in my fragrance wardrobe: these are for days that you want to live, breathe, and smell like magenta, like the Barbie movie soundtrack.

Y’all need to calm down about the bottle redesign. I think it’s incredibly cute in a 3D cartoon, perfume bottle in Sims build mode kind of way. It’s giving digital Barbie. I’m here for it Now onto the juice. Rosy Cheeks opens with a burst of fruit with the that blackcurrant pomegranate red berry trio. It’s tangy, tart, and borderline flirty. and somehow it smells... pink? in the best way? the rose is petal-soft, and glowy, like flushed cheeks after laughing too hard. sandalwood and amber are grounding without being heavy, and smooth without trying too hard. This fragrance poccesses a quiet confidence, like someone who doesn’t need to raise their voice to be heard. 🌹

so nostalgic and reminiscent of dylan purple by versace. juicy, tart, shampoo -- and the perfect amount of what I think is sandalwood and I can seriously smell the orchid! very pretty and fun and flirty

Fruity, fresh, and fun. This is a safe everyday wear fragrance that doesn't get old
