Dearest Graceful Hydrangea

I too love Bridgerton, so I ended up getting Dearest Graceful Hydrangea and Dearest Rebel Vanilla. I like Graceful Hydrangea better. It's a pretty, clean, soft floral that turns a bit sweeter after a while. It'll be good for the office in summer - nothing too heavy, nothing to projecting. I'll definitely wear it. It doesn't last super long though; on me it's gone in a few hours. It's nothing particularly complex or unique. I think you can get more interesting florals for that price point. But it has more depth and performs better than Rebel Vanilla.

I was pleasantly surprised when blind brought this. It’s a lovely sweet floral scent. The blackcurrant gives it a slight fruity smell and the praline makes it kind of creamy. I think a nice clean everyday scent ...I was only going to get this one but might have to pick up the peach one too. I also like the size...just a little bottle to add to the collection, very elegant definitely Bridgerton vibes. I would recommend.

Light and fresh. Soft and feminine and a sweet. This is nice for occasions where you don't want to be overpowering. Smelled through the 3 in this collection at ulta and settled on this one as the most special in my perspective and least like anything else I own and I own MANY. I keep this little 1.7 in my purse for an afternoon refresher and yay l use it often. Always a whiff of sweet honeyed light florals.... Like a white floral made lavender and warm.

I sampled this at Ulta and decided to buy a bottle. I was taken initially by the soft floral fragrance for spring. However, with more regular wear, this fragrance has been a bit disappointing. The dry down is a bit sweet and strong and has kind of a mature smell I didn’t notice in the store. It begins very strong but has a tendency to fade quickly.

I only tested this in store so I can’t comment on the performance. But this is very pleasant! I really dislike anything gourmand but the hint of it in here wasn’t detectable to me. It may come out a little more if you wear it for several hours but I can’t see it turning unlikable. This is on my list to purchase for sure

Decided to get the travel size at Ulta after smelling on paper for a few days. It’s nice and has this sweet candied floral smell that lingers on clothing. That being said, I don’t think it’s impressionable enough to go back for a full bottle purchase but it layers prettily with Mula Mula Double Caramel by BF.

I love Bridgerton and hydrangeas! When I see anything hydrangea, I think of my Dad because we had them in our yard when I was growing up, and when he passed away, they were all in full bloom and looking beautiful. Needless to say, when I saw this fragrance, I had to get it! I tried it today and honestly, it is underwhelming! Hydrangeas by nature have virtually no fragrance. It smells pretty enough even if a bit generic but they did me wrong! There has to be a geranium note in here as the scent turned weedy spicy BO. Not a pretty at all. I have found that on me geranium or the combo of oakmoss & patchouli turn into a evil evil weedy note on me! This is a 10000% no for me!

Opening has a copper note, dry down would be nice if it weren't so sickeningly sweet.

Dearest Graceful Hydrangea by Bridgerton Dearest gentle reader... This fragrance opens with a burst of juicy blackcurrant, bright and inviting, before revealing a heart of lush hydrangea that feels both elegant and romantic. As it settles, cedar and praline create a soft, refined base, adding warmth without tipping the fragrance into gourmand territory. As the scent develops on my skin, I also pick up a distinct amber nuance that isn't listed in the official note pyramid. It lends the composition a golden glow, like the last rays of afternoon sunlight filtering through the gardens of a grand country estate. There are subtle echoes of Carolina Herrera Good Girl, which I suspect come from the praline accord. They're more like cousins than sisters, however, sharing a familiar sweetness while taking very different paths. On my skin, longevity is around three hours with moderate projection. Overall, it's a beautifully composed sweet floral that captures the elegance and romance of an English garden in full bloom, wrapped in the charm and grace you'd expect from the world of Bridgerton.
