Sleepy Hollow

Blind buy win! This one is yummy deep and rich. It's one of those fragrances where you can pick out the individual notes and each one vies for attention while still blending nicely with the others. You will have to like coffee and sweets though. The pumpkin is there but it is layered with gooey caramel. The coffee is deep and dark really sets the mood for late autumnal nights. It’s creamy surprisingly as dark as it is. It does kind of remind me of a much improved upon wax melt or yankee candle- however without the headache and with quality- less synthetic ingredients. As it dries down the spices come out a little more and I swear I smell cocoa as well but cocoa isn’t listed. It’s cozy and a bit mysterious while also being intensely sweet. Again if you don't like the interplay between deep and rich scents with the sweet pass on this one, but if sweet and dark is your game this will please you. The only thing I wish for this scent is that the pumpkin could be a touch more forward.

Sleepy Hollow smells like a pumpkin spice latte without the sweetness. It's strong dark coffee, canned pumpkin, and warm spices.

Okay, this is so far the worst sample I have ever gotten. Perhaps this is not my thing, perhaps I got a bad batch. This smells so so so overwhelmingly spiced. Something is so dearly wrong, and I think its that, one, its farrr to sweet smelling for me, and two, the notes do not go together. Its. Alot. This, is in no way, good to smell. This smells like if a Starbucks employee hated you and when you ordered a pumpkin spice latte they dumped two cups full of spice in your drink, then cheese grated a entire pumpkin in it too for good measure. And then magically it still smells overwhelmingly sweet. Also, you can smell it quite from afar, with none of the smell lessening from the distance. This is just. Alot. I could not sit near someone wearing this without being is distress.
