Blissful Fantasy

Just bought this one and holy crap it's the best thing ever! (well to me that is) smelling it makes me feel like a fairy princess! Anyways: it starts off as a strong white floral, smooth and nicely sharp. Not sharp in a foul manner, but sharp in a pleasant type of kick! The jasmine and lily come in and brush right past you like a whisper, it smells very dainty, but a little tropical? Not in the sunset on the Hawaiian coast tropical, but a nice trip to a hula bar kind. (though I'm not old enough to drink lol) After the jasmine a lily blend, you smell this ozonic tiare flower kick in and hit you with this dewy cool scent that reminds me of fresh air. I don't get much melon? Like at all, I smell none of it but flowers. But hey I LOVE FLOWERS!!! About the package: The gradient is gorgeous, the fade of yellow to orange and red is pretty to the max. And the red little Rhine stones are so darling! All of the bottles in this collection are just the cutest things ever. I love collecting them! Final thoughts: Thus far, this has been the most mature one of her collection. I haven't smelt all of them, but this one sticks out as a more mature one. HOWEVER!! It is not mature like someone would complain about, this is not something you would wear and feel like a business woman wearing! But then again, this is a celebrity fragrance marketed towards teen girls (which i am) so to me this is up my alley. But if you are looking for a mature fragrance, skip on this! It's almost mature, but not quite.

I just picked up Blissful Fantasy at Burlington for $20 and what a great find! Of all the Fantasy range, I'm not a fan of the original, "cupcake"-smelling Fantasy, as it's too "cake-y" for me (I prefer ice cream and sorbet -- or almond pastry!). I like, but don't love, the passionfruit-forward Electric Fantasy and the gentle, vanilla musk, Fantasy Intimate, and decluttered them. But I absolutely LOVE the dark, fruity, syrupy-sweet Midnight Fantasy -- yum! Blissful Fantasy, on the other hand, is totally different from any of these. As several reviewers below point out, it leans much more floral than the usual Fantasy flanker, inviting comparisons to the MUCH more floral Curious (which I happen to love). But while Curious has plenty of magnolia and a sweet version of tuberose, along with a clean, pretty shampooey vibe, Blissful Fantasy is predominately a melon-tinged lily/freesia concoction, clean and fresh, with some coconut thrown into the mix. To my nose, it actually smells a whole lot like Dior J'Adore; maybe not exact, due to the coconut note, but pretty darn close. The longevity of this one, too, is pretty solid for an inexpensive perfume I still smell it on the back of my hand distinctly 4 hours after spraying just one spray. So, if you're a J'Adore fan, or fan of aquatic florals like Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue, Tommy Hilfiger Tommy Girl, or Estee Lauder Beyond Paradise, you might really enjoy Blissful Fantasy. Recommended! :)

Oh I absolutely adore Britney’s Fantasy Flankers. Blissful Fantasy had been on my list for awhile and I was curious how it would compete against other Flankers in the collection. All of the Fantasy Flankers are a mix of fruity and floral notes, but this one manages to be so different from all the others, creating a scent that is good for any beach or pool day. If anything, I get more of an “Island Fantasy” vibe from this scent compared to the actual Island Fantasy flanker which is much more of a “summer fantasy” type scent with the watermelon and citrus notes. Blissful is a mix of Melon and white floral notes, most noticeable the Tiare flower. It somehow manages to be nostalgic to the early 2000s despite the fact that I can’t pinpoint whatever scent or product it was. This scent manages to be the exact embodiment of what I imagine when I think of a tropical summer vacation scent. You can really see yourself doing anything wearing this like going shopping, having a few drinks, sitting poolside. Its a great everyday scent for summer and spring I would say. Blissful fantasy smells great, I just wish It lasted longer. It’s such a beautiful scent but lasts no more than 3 hours on me.

Pure perfection. One of the best out of her recent releases. I am obsessed with this one. Such a sweet sweet fruity floral. Melon goodness. SO much fruity white floral mix. A great fresh melon, with white florals and a bit of musky peppery warmth. This is so perfect. Now I am loving on it during the cold winter and it's doing wonderful. I am excited to see how this will fair in the warmer hot weather. Overall though it's one of the bests shes put out in a while. Great longevity and silage and overall staying power. Just looking at the bottle/Packaging makes me wanna go get it but I am hesitant because 3 of Britneys fragrances gave me a major migraine especially fantasy, and my recent purchase sheer fantasy...I simply adore and so obsessed with sheer fantasy from the bottle and the oh so lovely scent but it's giving me a bad migraine, I'm not sure which specific note, could be the drydown. I have high hopes with blissful fantasy because I love the bottle so much and I have been watching reviews from youtube and everyone seems to have it on their collection and how good smelling it is. Please help me let me know if you have this and if it doesn't give you a headache like Fantasy/fantasy sheer does. Thank you!

I really enjoy this scent, it is sweet, floral and happy smelling. I saw one other person comment that this isn't sweet, that couldn't be further from the truth! This is very sweet, I would be afraid to see the type of perfumes they wear on a regular basis if they didn't find this sweet! I get mostly floral notes from this, I didn't notice the melon note too much thankfully! This is a great daytime summer fragrance. Another thing I should mention, this perfume doesn't last! At all! Might as well be a body spray...As much as I like the fantasy line, I think I will stop purchasing it because they seem to be getting worse and worse when it comes to sillage and lasting power....

WOW! This reminds me of wearing a sweet melon lipgloss while eating a fresh slice of cantaloupe while standing in among tropical white florals. I agree with the comparisons to Dior's J'ador. I do find it different than Island Fantasy because they're two different types of melon scents. Island Fantasy also opens with a light citrus note, you don't get that in Blissful Fantasy. This almost reminds me of the tropical floral part of Aerin Lauder's Hibiscus Palm but with melon added. This perfume is a good value, you get a lot for your money. I'm happy with the projection too. I want to get the 1oz for my bag, because this is a scent I want to live in this summer!

Blissful Fantasy captures the glowing skin and humidity you feel after swimming in natural bodies of water all day. You might applied a fruity scented bronzer hours ago and the chemicals and fragrance have clung to your swimwear. Blissful Fantasy is fresh and creamy and slightly buttery accord. It is also has an oily feel and a tame mineral accord. This is why it reminds me of swimming in natural waters with the scent of sunblock/scented bronzer. It reminds me of a more feminine version of Deseo for Women by JLo. In short, it's a fresh, creamy floral with a tinge of sweet fruits. I'm glad to have it in my wardrobe.

These little globes bring me so much joy if I’m honest! I received this last week and just tested it on my arm but tonight I decided to give it a full wear. Yes it’s freezing outside but lately I’ve been craving my warm weather scents. So bright and tropical and BLISSFUL! Tropical floral. Juicy melon, tuberose, jasmine & tiare. It is clean, fresh and almost soapy. I can’t wait till summer when I can wear a sundress and spritz myself with this. This & Island Fantasy will be my summer go-to’s for sure. I purchased a 1oz but I’m ordering a bigger bottle asap just in case it gets sold out again

Definitely a pretty, breezy floral scent. I don’t usually like fantasy type perfumes because they are just overbearing and sweet, whereas this one is definitely closer to curious. This scent is still a “cheap” type scent but it really does smell good- reminds me of the perfume stores at the mall in the early 2000s that would sell all the celebrity fragrances by Britney, jlo and Paris Hilton. I get fresh melon and florals like everyone else says. I am happy to have this in my collection as an easy every day scent for the summer. It would smell awesome with any tropical scented products.

This is absolutely gorgeous! Britney perfumes you’ve done it again! I’m in love- this is so intoxicating I literally couldn’t stop smelling myself after testing on my skin. I had to buy it! A beautiful, fresh, tropical, fun easy breezy yet has a touch of class about it scent, perfect for a holiday - I can just imagine getting showered after a day at the beach In the sun and wearing this to go for fruity cocktails (isn’t it weird what scent can conjure up in your mind?!) Can see this being my summer 2022 scent! For anyone in the UK Superdrug have this at the moment 100ml for £18.50.

Currently I'm in a very nostalgy-seeking phase, so I blind-bough some fragrances which I expected to bring back my 2000s childhood. I hoped this one will smell like like one of my favourite Disney shower gels, the one in the Belle doll shaped bottle (because of the melon), and I'm not disappointed at all! The melon scent only lasts for about an hour, but it's enough to feel the warmth of childhood bath times. It olso smells a bit like drawing on craft paper with melon scented markers at first. So, if you also miss the scent of the Belle shover gel, you should give it a try.

Thought this was another “meh” fragrance at first because it gave me that 90s melon vibe when first sprayed, but now, after letting it sit for a few months, I find myself reaching for it often, even in the colder temperatures. It’s creamy and “coconutty,” no doubt from the tiare. It’s got an airiness to it and reminds me of a tropical resort. For being an eau de toilette, it lingers around for much longer than expected: sprayed in the morning and can still smell it wafting around 8 hours later (and I only sprayed on the ankles of my pants). Don’t sleep on this.

I will never understand the amount of hate that this gorgeous melon and creamy white floral fragrance gets. she’s an affordable, expensive smelling, and overall beautiful fragrance. the scent itself is a clean melon and creamy tiare tuberose white floral that I love. The longevity and projection are not beast, but for $20 at Ross, you can’t complain. not to mention the bottle is so cute! The yellow fading into orange is chefs kiss. I own 6 total fantasy’s and displaying them together, they look soooo cute!

This has become my favorite scent this summer! Not the biggest fruity floral fan , but I love white florals. This is fresh but also warm and very creamy. I almost get coconut vibes from the creaminess. It has a nostalgic factor as well. A little bit of 90s cucumber melon feeling but maybe closer to summer melody. I love those 90s melon and ozonic scents though. It's very tropical and floral sweet. It's very light which is perfect for high heat and I layer it with vs melon drench to help with longevity.

Blind bought this on impulse and on first spray was nervous about the starkness of the melon note. Was super pleasantly surprised by the dry down as it unfolded into a creamy floral!!! The melon is still tangible but combined with the white florals doesn't read as juvenile, rather a sweet beachy blend. Reminds me of the lobby of a Singaporean resort or something luxe like that ^_^ just yummy

Oh my GOOODDDD I just sprayed it. I’m in love. My boyfriend wears Clean Classic “Rain” which has a pretty audible melon note, and I LOVE melon but was a little worried it may smell too much like my bf... I was so wrong. It has a beautiful melon note yes, but in such a romantically feminine, tropical, and GORGEOUS way!! I cannot WAIT to see more of the dry down!!

Blissful Fantasy is a very melon forward fragrance. This reminds me of a scent from the late 90's/early 2000's...but I cannot put my finger on which perfume. Fruity melon. Sweet, but far from cloying. This will be wonderful for Spring and Summer.

this reminds me of white gummy bears on a summer day. the white florals add a complexity that some may find offensive, but i regularly am complimented on this one. probably more than any other britney perfume i own.

This one smells so good. It’s sexy and a tropical/floral dream. It’s not that long lasting tho. But still would recommend it. 10/10.

I'm pleasantly surprised by this blind buy! A really nice scent for spring/summer daytime because it smells beachy. The cantaloupe melon note is instantly detectable. It's does smell fruity, fresh and watery, some soft prettiness with the jasmine florals. Another really nice jasmine perfume from Britney is Radiance, it's hard to find now, but it's beautiful! A bit sports. I was a bit worried I wouldn't like this perfume based on some of the reviews, but it's decent. Age range could be 15-30 years old maybe. Def on the fem side. It would make a nice body wash. It smells nothing like the OG, but realistically there are several Fantasy flankers that you wouldn't expect to be in the fantasy line. It smells sweet, but it's more of a fruit sweet not a gourmand like the OG. Fantasy is such a classic scent now that if the company puts Fantasy on the bottle they know they can sell it. Arms length sillage.These types of scents I don't usually go for BC I feel like you can only wear them in the daytime during spring/summer, but I wonder if this perfume will make me appreciate melon fragrances more. I got it for about $40CAD for 100ml and I think the price is fair, you could probably get a cheaper body spray, but the melon in this doesn't smell cheap or too synthetic. I think this is my favorite out of all the beachy/tropical Fantasies (Maui is a close second or tie, Island Fantasy-which reminds me of Ralph Lauren perfume). Someone said it reminds them of scents from 2000-05 and I agree. It doesn't smell exactly like Island Fantasy, but when I first sprayed it I immediately thought it'd be a flanker for it. It lasts a long time around 8+ hours, but I don't like the smell as much as time goes on. I really like it, I think I may keep this bottle instead of selling it! I still think Sheer Fantasy is my fave and will still be my go-to spring/summer/whenever scent.

Finally received this today! It's been on back order on Amazon, so it took about two weeks but it's here. First impressions: Much better than I was expecting. Fresh melon and lush florals. Despite being a big Britney fan, I'm not fond of her Fantasy range. The original Fantasy is just too sweet and juvenile for me now, although I did wear and enjoy it when I was around 21/22 years old. To my relief, Blissful Fantasy has practically nothing in common with the OG Fantasy. This one is surprisingly grown up, and I really cannot detect any of the original Fantasy DNA. It's summery, but I don't know if "tropical" is the right descriptor. When I see that word describing a fragrance, my mind usually goes to coconut, tropical fruits, sunscreen, marine and/or salt notes, etc. This is 100% a white floral fragrance. I do get lily up top with the melon, but thankfully the lily is subdued because I cannot stand lily. Tiare flower is the star of the show here. The melon stays throughout, but it is not overpowering. This could have/should have been either a new pillar fragrance, or a flanker of her sadly discontinued Radiance line. I sprayed this on my arm less than two hours ago and I can still smell it, although much weaker, so I don't have high hopes for the longevity. Not surprising given that it's a celebrity frag and an EDT. Still, I'm happy to have it in my collection. It's a mood-booster!

Buttery, solar floral. The melon is there but this is FLORAL! The Tiare flower is dominant and backed up by the jasmine and tuberose. It’s sweeter, sheerer and more modern than J’Adore and way less perfumey. To be fair I find J’adore rather screechy and headache inducing but this is more wearable. Quite a different type of melon here too. Sweeter and more honeyed and not as crisp as the melon in J’adore. This reminds me more of Burberry London but a less syrupy, lighter and more summery version minus the honeysuckle. I suspect if you like Burberry London you will also like this.... It could honestly be treated like the edt version of London edp and worn in hot weather! Personally I’m not keen on buttery florals but I am surprised by the quality of this perfume. I find a lot of Fantasy perfumes smell like shampoo.... but this smells like a perfume! It’s so interesting to see how many people think this smells cheap because I think all the other Fantasies I’ve tried smell cheap and this one really doesn’t. I agree with the review that compares this to Sunflowers and Curious. This has a mature feel compared to Britney’s other perfumes and melon can be divisive, so maybe that’s why this one gets such mixed reviews?! Something here is also making me think of Dolce Garden!

Blissful Fantasy is a nice fragrance in the Fantasy line. Before I start the review I must say that straight from the shop my bottle came defected in that it is extremely hard to spray, almost like the nozzle is broken and it also had no lid in from being inside the box, which makes me fear the Fantasy is cheapening out and cutting corners again. Nevertheless, onto the actual product. The bottle is really pretty! It reminds me a lot of Sunset Fantasy in its ombre design, so it's nothing new or innovative but it's still nice. Scentwise, it's definitely strong melon and has strong silage and moderate longevity. I can smell it on me for a while compared to other EDT's in the Fantasy line. I would not liken this to Island Fantasy, although they are very similar and follow the same theme for perfume, they're not identical and I think I prefer Blissful Fantasy more than Island Fantasy, Island Fantasy smells sharper and more rough. I would also not liken this to Jungle Fantasy. Island Fantasy, Jungle Fantasy and Blissful Fantasy are all summer scents, and EDTs that follow the same scent palette. however Blissful Fantasy is the clear winner! It has much better projection and the scent is not as harsh as the others.

I generally love BS fragrances. Midnight Fantasy has been repurchased more than a dozen times, and I tend to try and enjoy most of her range, some more than others, and I consider this fantasy flanker somewhere in the middle. Fresher than the rest of the fantasy flankers, a bit more grown up. Not sugary sweet, not cupcakey, not fruity or juicy. White florals, fresh, clean, a bit aquatic, a bit soapy. The best smelling laundry detergent. Reminds me of a drier Kenneth Cole Black - for her or Jennifer Aniston, mixed with Maison Martin Margiela Bubble Bath. A white floral leaning a bit beachy, but more lake beachy than tropical beachy - lake vacation mid July, not sun and sand and SPF and coconuts. I think this would lean towards spring or summer, safe for the office, not offensive or overly daring, a safe watery white floral. Lasting power is not amazing.

Been wearing it this week and let me start off by saying: it’s great for spring given its fresh and floral aroma. The first 30 minutes I smell the melon and some florals. Then in becomes a skin scent and at the 4 hour mark, I smell nothing on my skin. I tend to only spray once on each side of the neck, once on the chest and once on each wrist, but with this I have to spray up to 4 times each place and also on my clothes for it to last at least til lunch time. Even though it’s performance is not the best, I wouldn’t declutter it because it makes it a safe perfume to use at the office and not cause anybody allergies or discomfort that powerful scents can cause. In conclusion: spring, daytime scent. Good for office. Low sillage and longevity is on the intimate-moderate range. Mostly melon and white florals.

It’s not very musky but I wouldn’t call it aquatic either. It’s somewhat strange the smell description didn’t mention tropical. I think this fragrance is tropical in a summery way and not in an overwhelmingly sweet or nauseating way. Is it the most expensive smelling EDT? No, because it isn’t. I got this somehow for $5. The bottle is beautiful. It lasts for around 3+ hours on clothing. On skin it disappears faster. I would describe this as a warm slightly sweet, tropical and playful fragrance. Perfect for the beach of for grabbing cocktails in the summer. The notes to me are somewhat accurate but I am surprised mango isn’t one of the listed notes... but then again synthetic honey melon can kind of smell similar to synthetic mango, Overall not a bad buy

If you like MELON then you'll like this perfume! It's not really a fresh out-of-the-fridge kind of melon, but more how a warm melon smells like, if that makes sense? It's also a surprisingly realistic melon. I'm glad to see someone use a note that still hasn't been overused! Something a little different. I do get the white flowers once the perfume settles down, but still, the melon is the queen of the show! Overall, a nice summer fragrance! Not too sweet or anyhow cloying etc. And definitely not boring. Personally, I doubt I'll be buying a whole bottle but I'd have no problem wearing this if sprays were to land on me. 😉 Thumbs up for making something a little different! The bottle looks cute in real life.

This has that summery beach smell, like that smell that’s in festive bit this has a floral twist to it. It’s not like jadore or Gucci bloom. If anything it’s a hint of floral on suntanned beach skin. I love it 😻. I think this is the best fantasy to date! Omg this is everything I wanted sunset fantasy to be ❤️ omg it’s divine! It is blissful! Wow! It is sunkissed skin on a sandy beach with vibrant oranges and yellows with a pop of red lipstick 💄 mmm she is so juicy!!!! I gotta get me at least 3 more bottles of this❤️🍒🤩 Now I know what this reminds me of!!! It’s that melon lily juiciness from the 90s that was in Malibu musk!

This is the only fragrance I own with a melon note so she is very special. For the first year of owning her, I didn't reach for her much. Recently I've been gravitating towards it more, specifically as a work scent because it's mass appealing and it's inoffensive. Of course it only last about 2 -3 hours before I have to reapply but for $20, I really can't complain. The scent itself is quite beautiful. I personally perceive the white florals more during the first hour and it's until much later that I can really get the melon note. I need to give this one more attention cuz it really is beautiful.

I bought this for my daughter as I found a 100ml bottle for £12.90! The opening is melon and white flowers, as it dries it becomes creamier and thicker. It has a delicious fluffy vanilla note, with fruit and a touch of coconut, with almost a butter icing thickness to it. There is also a fresh aquatic note that goes with/complements the melon. The bottle is very cute, unlike some of the other Fantasy perfumes, the bottle is coloured but clear glass. Very pretty. Not a bad little perfume for the money. This will be very nice next summer 🍈🧁🌸💛🧡

If this was an edp it would be 🔥 hot! It's just a little too light, if it was just as deep as her edps... I don't know why all the new ones are all edt and so light. I don't like light, barely there fragrances. I want loud, intense, eye rolling, make me faint fragrances! Dang I wish this one hit just a little harder! It's so floral, beachy, but has that cupcake sweetness underneath that makes it so mouth watering good and it just needs to be turned up a few notches. I hope some other designer will come up with a stronger version of this.

Surprisingly, this did not develop in the warm weather how I expected it to. It’s better in the cold winter months. The notes dance together in harmony under 26F. But it could need to macerate for awhile so this summer I’ll give it another try. The melon is strong in this right now but not nauseatingly so like melon tends to do. If you like white florals with a fruity twist you might like this - it’s not very sweet either- I like it a lot in winter weather not so much in the summer heat though. It’s like heat destroys the composition.

To me, this doesn't smell cheap at all, I'd see it as a designer fragrance. I'm surprised there's no salty note in it because to my nose it smells floral with a pinch of salt/sea, giving that holiday vibe. It's not sharp, but rather creamy and light. It doesn't last more than a few hours on my skin, but i hope macerating it will help a bit. I enjoy it a lot as a bedtime scent or around the house since it doesn't last long, but the smell itself is soo nice

This one reminds me of Curious more than it does fantasy, Im surprised they didn't add it to that line of Britney fragrances. Its nothing terribly unique, its pleasant, inoffensive, and perfect for an office. If you have Gucci Bloom you really don't need this one too as they smell incredibly similar. In addition I dont see why its being compared to Island Fantasy because Island is harsh citrus and Freesia. Blissful is creamy flower petals.

I tried this on a cold evening-- my mistake, was very "meh" and smelled a bit detergent-like. Trying it on a little bit of a warmer day and I'm liking it more. This is not confection-sweet like the original fantasy and some of its flankers. This is a clean, refreshing, fruity melon. I don't get a whole lot of tiare, moreso the lily and freesia. I think that in hot weather this will be a winner.

I blind bought the 3.3oz bottle tonight from Burlington for 19.99. So, I'll cut to the chase-this is so pretty! On me, it opens with a melon blast, then dries down to a very creamy, fresh floral, slightly sweet "melon-y", musky, earthy, beautiful scent. This is perfect for spring/summer. I am very pleased with my purchase! I def recommend.

Blissful Fantasy is a pretty perfume that I thought was unique until I realized that it smells like BBW Key West. So if you liked that, you’ll love this. I don’t usually gravitate to tropical scents, but I can appreciate this uplifting perfume with a gorgeous bottle.It’s perfect for a tropical vacation or for a teen or younger woman.

This is an uplifting, fresh, juicy floral. Very beautiful! I can see why some reviewers have compared it to J'adore, it is similar but not an exact dupe. I feel happy when I smell this, so the name Blissful Fantasy is pretty accurate. It is nothing like the original Fantasy in any way, and not really groundbreaking, but it's lovely!

Great summer parfum. Non invasive, pleasant, not overly sweet. Melon is there, but not overwhelming. Nicely balanced and inoffensive. Dreamy summer parfum. I can see how is can reminds of J'adore. I will bay this one instead if I want J'adore in the future.

I really like this. The name suits it well. Very happy, blissful and bright scent. Not a sugar bomb as most of the Fantasy flankers. Reminds me alot of South Beach from Paris Hilton and Love and Glamour by Jennifer Lopez. Perfect for spring and summer!

This scent makes me think of happier innocent days, summer frolicking and playing among huge sunflowers. A day scent, highly floral. Outdoors, nature. Definitely one to wear in the Sun. You will smell so clean and pretty!

Another really beautiful Fantasy Edition🌞 it’s the white floral sister of Island Fantasy🍈 both are nice skin scents but don’t last longer than 2-4 hours. True melon bombs🍉 just like a tropical vacation

It's a pretty scent. I find it to be pretty fruity even though melon seems to be the only fruit in the notes. Fruity, fresh floral scent, very suitable for spring or summer.

A creamy white Hawaiian floral with an initial summery lilt of cantaloupe. Feminine, not girly, and warm without being heavy. Smells like a tropical flower garden.

This is a powdery, floral, melon spritz. Refreshing. Lasts about 4 - 6 hours on me, indoors, before becoming a skin scent. The globe is cute too. Strong like.
