Облепиха и крыжовник - Sea buckthorn and Gooseberry

Oh wow.... It’s heart breaking that I just discovered this after its been discontinued! I’ve honestly never smelt a scent like this before and I don’t really know how to describe it. Yes it’s sweet because it’s the pineapple that opens it but that turns into something much more delicate quite quickly. I don’t agree it would be headache inducing. I feel like if someone wrapped me in a big fluffy blanket on a chilly night, this is the scent I would imagine. It’s like a sweet smell without the hell that vanilla and caramel cause me. Creamy in a subtle way and just so comforting. It gets more floral after a while. I hope I manage to find a bottle one day..... it’s actually really complex to my nose and is special and unusual. UPDATE! Okay so I'm wearing this today (from the sample bottle) and where it hit my clothes, the top notes are sticking around and I can see what the previous review meant. On first spray this is pure sickly pineapple, but on my wrist when I first tried it, that note calmed down super quickly and became a really unusual cosy and almost creamy smell. This is nowhere near as nice if the pineapple hangs around. I suspect the notes making this so unusual are the buckthorn and gooseberry. I have a facewash with buckthorn in and it has a similar vibe in a way so I'm thinking that instead of trying to find this discontinued niche perfume, it might be wiser to look for other perfumes with one or both of these notes! Leave the extra pineapple out of things for sure!

Ooof. Rough opening - sickly sweet with a plastic fruity/floral mess and is quite nauseating. Would probably result in a migraine. Pass on this one.
