An other winter is gone in Europe, so this perfume shall go back to the back of the cupboard. For mimosa lovers very maybe could work but the lighter more summer friendly mimosas like Kenzo Summer and Guerlain Champs-Elysées is much better in my opinion. Have several backups, one of my favourite for 10 years and counting.

This perfume is a must have for serious collectors, that adore Fig & Plum, it is deep & boozy, like Mauboussin. It says floral green because of a large amount of Galbanum, but it is plummy and figgy too, so a SWEET green I would say! Good luck! Action

Hi there, after one month of serious looking on ebay Germany, I managed to track down a mini to fill my curiosity, and I am thrilled by the quality and fullness of the scent. Seductive, sweet sweet green. Kenzoish but with a little bit of powder rose.

My room is dark and cold. It has been raining these days in this tropical island. I keep smelling my arm with dried brooksfield nuance. It has been sitting in my little collection for 2 or 3 years, I only reach it sometimes when the days are cold and get to go to my office or simply chilling by the bed. I can’t really remember and it has perfectly ripen. This perfume is so ripe. I don’t know a better word to describe it. Heavenly nostalgic flowers. I am suddenly so grateful of my olfactory sense. Plum is only visible on the top notes, giving a false sense of sour syrup. The rest is delicate. I didn’t know this perfume has capabilities to be this magical. The drydown is all about honeyed flowers, marching slowly with a fair dose of powdery, musky, and wet-like smell. This is the smell of a well-dressed person. The song is Deilig er Jorden. This perfume worth the price tag. The first time this arrived, I didn’t really like it as this one is too vibrant and heavy: definitely not a blind buy safe. It just need a meticulous observation and a wondering, good mood to appreciate this beauty.

I've been ignoring this piece since a long time. Till, I found some reviews mentioned it and curiosity takes over my cash. For me, Brooksfield-NUANCE falls into the "love at the first sniff & want to grab it immediately" kind of fragrance. It makes me feels at ease, relax and the nuance somehow reminds me of my grandma's house in the late 80's or 90's. Agreed with Action, sweet green is truly the word!! It's simple yet complicated to explain. Fresh yet sweet, watery yet powdery. For I, who live in the tropics and have never had an experienced to smell and taste the fig fruit, I couldn't comment on that. But I do notice a lil' bit of the powdery plum, patchouli and absolutely the not so stale rose. I thought of something ambery in the drydowns, but apparently it is not listed in the ingredients. All in all.....best finding of this month!!

What a beauty! This is like a green and plummy version of Angel TM! So more wearable, complex yet airy than the Mugler for me!

Brooksfield Nuance was released in 1996, and having it drying on my skin, I am both perplexed and disoriented, as if I stepped out of a time machine, and into the settled smoke and musky hues of a diner. Miscellaneous saccharine notes of syrup and jam, mingle with dusky smells worn by the occupants; too often dosing copious amounts of coffee instead of enough self care, all hungry for a dream and weary for the searching. Officially branded as a floral green fragrance, I tilt my head to understand that perspective. This is 90's Grunge all the way! Earthy tones of fig, galbanum, mimosa and artemisia, blended into a paste of gypsy anointed apothecary. Nuance is dusty Birkenstocks, bumper stickers that read "Co-Exist", burning incense in the bedroom, and natural funky hair. Unapologetically disagreeable on paper, this seems to inexplicably redeem itself once warmed on skin. Linear in composition with distinct layering, one may even postulate the framework of allegory is unfolding, foreshadowing creations like Mauboussin, received at the turn of our century. Like Mauboussin, I argue this is a chypre through and through. With its dirty patchouli top, mandarin orange supplying necessary acidity, and herbaceous abundance imbuing a distinctly verdant heart. Just as it blows in like a lion, it slips away like a lamb. All that remains to mark time are warm, powdery, amber notes, whose longevity feels infinite, and are as sweet as powdered sugar.

Oh my....interesting perfume ! This was tucked away after a swap a while ago. I guess I was happy with the main course and didn't give the desserts a chance... Cause this is dessert for a fragrance lover ! This was surprisingly new to me in both smell and house. Never heard of it and while holding only three fragrances, they're excused... Starts off fresh, bold , minty mens cologne like, telling you - I am strong bold different and I know it. Hard to describe the top better than fresh burnt minty chocolate or griiled hazelnuts on a dusty, foggy street in autumn, with all variety of colours dazzling from the trees. The mens cologne touch stays, turning more minty. Did not expect this - lovely. I guess this would be lovely on my man too ! Not what I usually wear, but I sure will try. Maybe you need a sports jacket and skirt or a really classy taylord dress to match it. Maybe the right person can pull it off with jeans and a white t- shirt. Lets try ! I will for sure... If I had to pick one or two fragrances to resemble this too, it would be the boldness and non flowery smell of Iceberg Universe and the minty lightness from Cerruti Image. Longavity - Silage/ YES !

Thanks to Action I picked this one up. It is lovely, this has also led me to notice how many scents I have that have galbanum as one of the main scents that I seem attracted to. This is fig plum sweet and I adore it. Thanks Action for your advice.

Really, no matter how much I sniff, it's still clove-y. Like unburned cigarette. u know, the side of a cigarette that u put on ur mouth. it smells exactly like that on my wrist. i'm no smoker but the smell kinda relax me a bit

Fantastyczne, orientalne na mojej skórze - cynamonowo-kardamonowe, wchodzące później w słodkawe tropikalne nuty. Lepsze, niż ulubione 'Poison'.

It's very similar to Mauboussin,that already have.If someone want a bottle of Nuance,I am very happy to swap this.
