I love this fragrance! A perfect combination of boozy, woody, alcoholic notes, I also feel a very sweet part probably given by the use of notes such as cocoa and vanilla. The quality of this perfume is absolutely top! Bruno Perrucci is a new rising star in Italian independent niche perfumery! In this perfume, thanks to the skilful use of alcoholic, spicy, woody olfactory notes, an enveloping, precious and sensual, sweet, perfectly balanced perfume comes out, no note or accord is overwhelmed. In short, to try absolutely! elegance of the French style perfume! Duration and more than excellent skiing!

simply sensational, caramelized tobacco boozy fragrance that's exactly what it is, a scent so elegant it transfers you to a 1960's club and a special performance by miles davis. jazz club was my favorite fragrance of all time but this opened an entire world to me of fragrances, note that the notes are spectacularly blended and balanced, it truly is hard to differentiate the notes from each other and that is how amazing perfumery should be... I might be exaggerating, but it just shows how good this fragrance is.

I was looking forward to this fragrance due to the unisex rum forward and birch leaning notes. However I feel it leans more synthetic booze and very string Labdanum which is probably my least favorite note in the entire blend and thus also a bit more masculine. The sweet tobacco and vanilla give it some grace but I’m glad I only had a sample.

I bought a discovery set from the house... I am sorry to disagree with previous reviews but to me this is a total dislike...I only smell some burnt tire... I can not distinguish anything else... To me this is by far the worst of this really interesting house....

Butter rum Lifesavers and melted plastic...

Though this is listed as unisex, to me it's more masculine leaning. It's more rum than tobacco but you can definitely still smell the latter, the rum scent isn't too heavily sweet, it's a lot more "rich" and woody. It's done so well that it's difficult to differentiate all of it's individual parts, instead it has become it's own whole scent. Difficult to find anything to dislike about it in my opinion, even if you aren't normally a fan of "rum", "tobacco" or any of the listed smells, they don't smell artificial at all and so the most you could say is that it's not your style, but it's a very pleasant smell.

Thank you @irfan_ajah and @brumbarche It’s reassuring that this is not the scent I am looking for. I would love to have something like a nice boozy rhum note that is balances by a sweet undertone, and this tandem to last for 6-8h, so a real killer for the cold season. Thanks!

An amazing gourmand coming from this new brand! Sweet, spicy and sooo boozy. Rum that is just so inviting and wearable at the same time. Smooth throughout, highly recommended for bit genders & both niche and designer afficionados

@Soldatel - no, but the mix of Kalotinis’ Vanilla + Montale’s Vanilla Abs. is similar to Van Py Rhum’s drydown, where there’s also a prominent but well placed patchouli. The extra notes make it more complex.

Looking for a strong boozy dominant fragrance, would this be considered more boozy or more of a tobaccoish with gourmand accords fragrance??

@soldatel. I have both. Alias more tobaccoish with some dark chocolate (not sweet chocolate)

I was wondering if this one was similar to Lorenzo Pazzaglia - Van Py Rhum in any way?

This frangrance is more rum or tabacco?
