Double Bond

Double Bond is a fragrance as dual as it is univocal, a link between two notes almost at the antipodes (coconut and dark chocolate) that works perfectly. Only Bruno Perrucci’s nose could create such a tuneful combination. The opening is hesperidate and slowly this wonderful connection between the two key notes (already mentioned )overcomes,giving life to a cheerful, highearted but introspective fragrance at the same time. A picture immediately came to my mind: “Nafeea pa ipoipo” (when you get married) by Paul Gauguin: there are two very different women,but in reality the model who was portrayed was only one, in different poses and attitudes. The warm and summery Polynesian atmosphere is the backdrop. Overall, I think it's perfect for this fragrance, which I really liked.

Double Bond by Bruno Perrucci is one of his perfumes that I love the most. In this perfume we have fresh, citrus, fruity and flowery notes at play that play with sweet and creamy notes. A truly curious and interesting work for all those people who are looking for a sweet, creamy and refined perfume that has no excess as every note and every chord has been perfectly studied by the Nose creator to achieve a perfect result! Obviously also in this case we have a duration and a respectable trail! Bravo Bruno!

This is smooth, addictive and intimate, it wraps around you with warmth, sweetness and quiet confidence. The kind of scent that makes people lean closer. Love it 😍

Mostly, a minty vanilla, I’m also picking up a hint of citrus and cacao—but the citrus is lost in the dry down.

Very very well done spearmint note! 'Double Bond' opens with a spearmint piña colada: The citrus notes are strong in the beginning and smell just like pineapple juice you put in cocktails. As it dries down I get a faint yet warm cacao note (not edible chocolate). Then the scent becomes sweeter & warmer on the skin (probably because of those base notes), suitable for fall without fully losing the spearmint piña colada. As nice as this is, it's still not as good as Green Lover by Lolita Lempicka, which is literally $30-$40 for 100ml, while Double Bond is $160+ for 50ml. I consider this a pretty average and safe fragrance. Nothing new, nothing extraordinary. It doesn't pass that 'oomph' benchmark for me to justify the price.
