Stand Out

#1675 in my “Tour de Fragrance” Got this decant from scentsplit.com. Gotta say I've love these Bruno Perucci scents. But $170 for 50ml ? It actually is pretty similar to Lalique “Ombre Noir” that goes for $55 for 100ml. I’m getting a better mint and more papyrus from the Perucci, which I absolutely love, gives it a nicer opening. Very good quality in terms of longevity and silage. But I also like the cinnamon and touch of tobacco in the Ombre Noir, and it improves a lot in the dry down as that screechy synthetic bergamot Lalique uses fades out. But so far this morning I’ve gotten a couple of compliments on this Perucci and I’ve gotten none on the Lalique when I’ve worn it, so there’s that. I think either scent works in the office or casual settings. If I use up my bottle of Lalique and this Perucci scent is still out there I’ll give it go. Good Luck and Good Hunting!

I picked this up online purely based on a reel from someone I trust, without ever smelling it beforehand. The opening is very mint-forward, but within an hour the mint softens and reveals a warm honey–mandarin aroma. I sprayed it on myself and my T‐shirt, and when I smelled the shirt the next day, I realized just how beautiful the scent is even after the mint disappears. It smells luxurious and truly unique. Overall, it’s a great versatile fragrance—one of those “joker” perfumes you can wear year-round. Highly recommended.

Very good quality stuff. Like a previous reviewer said below, this stuff is like a better quality Lalique Ombre Noir. The resins and amber accord in here is miles better than in the lalique. A problem I had with ombre noire is that it always pulled into a curry-esque direction, probably due to the blend of fig leaf and spices. Thankfully, this stuff does not. A strict upgrade scent wise, although the longevity and sillage are pretty bad.

This perfume is what i was looking for so long. The menthol in the beginning is beautiful, just like the cognac dry down. I had many niche and designer fragrances, and i easily say that i found my signature. This fragrance have a poor longetivity, but the smell is making it breathtaking. If i only have one fragrance for the rest of my life, it will be definitely this. Absolutely goregous!

I can not describe my nose as an expert one but this totally reminds me to a powerful Naxos, not so well blended as Naxos but with the same spirit and better development than the newest Naxos versions... I really like it. Mood definitely has some gems...
