Fairy Dust

It's genuinely the most gorgeous vanilla from the brand, its the perfect clean vanilla scent for layering or wearing on its own, what stood out to me was the matcha and tea notes It makes this creamy, fresh, vanilla that is almost reminiscent of a luxury boutique, like Dior ^0^ whilst you're off sipping on a clean creamy coconut vanilla extract matcha and someone has popped a cold bottle of expensive champaign in the back 🥂 ˎˊ˗which is probably the sandalwood. About performance and projection: Ive noticed that if paired with a strong fragrance, think fresh or floral with no vanilla it performs exceptionally well, the projection and scent trail is great and it doesn't require reapplication and it gives instant vanilla depth while still being fresh, I have no idea what is going on there or why that happens but its strong enough that people stop and ask (in a good way). however it will disappear and does require replication multiple times for that same "wow" factor if worn alone. I will say both the OG (Narcotica) and DUA dupe (which I have decants of) don't perform well either. for the value esp if you are patient enough to let it macerate it's definitely worth it, its a gorgeous scent that is indescribable! ^0^ ────୨ৎ──── I discovered this at work one day whilst doing inventory and fell in love but quickly realised the longevity wasn't great:( which threw me off from purchasing since I would just spray it at work and walk away, that was until I realised how gorge it was and caved, I normally don't like vanillas, to be honest I started wearing vanilla 28 in the first months of 2023 before it took off on TikTok and everyone and their mother started wearing it, but for some odd reason the vanilla 28 DNA from both kayali and dupes has a dogfood smell to me which is so heartbreaking and this happens with other vanilla scents too, I also sell it every single shift and did so at my old job too. BUT NOT THIS! as a side note Skin2Skin which is the dupe for Tihota is also a nice vanilla incase anyone was wondering◝(ᴖᗜᴖ)◜ PSA!!!I I do work for the brand but all products are 100% bought with my own money!! I have NEVER and will NEVER let my job title stop me from being unapologetically honest with my thoughts on the fragrances, if I don't like something I don't recommend it or buy it either because A: im picky and hard to please and B: who has money to burn in this economy.

Opening: Mild. Creamy vanilla and coconut. Sweet brown sugar. During the dry down this became very light and intimate. It has a powdery feel. I believe the powdery aroma is coming from the matcha. The natural coconut aroma settled down a lot and it's leaning more vanilla with a hint of coconut vs the other way around in the opening. The brown sugar is sweet and isn't burnt. I get no noticeable mango or woody notes. Overall, this is a lightly sweet soft gourmand. It's intimate, gentle and comforting. It's a soft brown sugar married to creamy vanilla on top of this powdery tea like fragance with a hint of clean musk and a faint coconut. I would rank this much higher if it had more strength. Very pleasant and different. 7.01.2026 Update* - About 2 months later and the strength and longevity has increased significantly. I'm finding on clothes it last well until you wash them.

I do not have the OG. This smells heavenly. Don't expect beast mode projection it doesn't have it. If you're fine with that, it's extremely pleasant, mass appealing, great layerer w/others, can't go wrong. Great frag day or night. Love pairing it with a strong oud, woody, and/or gourmand fragrance. Great layering options with this one. The price point is absolutely incredible. I always get Bujairami from Fragrance net . com, as I'm in the states. Went on their website and had such FOMO! Can't wait till I can buy all their dupes as they're frequently sold out on fragrance net. If anyone knows of other websites where I can purchase, please share, thank you. I also have their YBM and VSRC from them, and the JPG for men and DBR for men from them, absolutely stronger for sure, and 1 to 1 dupes of their inspired OGs.

I came here to do justice to this fragrance. At first when it arrived - I'll be honest, I found it very soft. Almost too soft... like I couldn't fully catch its true scent. But after a few sprays and letting it sit for about 3 weeks, it completely transformed. Now It's simply beautiful. It's inspired by Narcotica's Happy Dust, and honestly? It captures that same dreamy, addictive vibe in such a delicate EDT way. Soft, sweet, a little creamy... the kind of scent that makes you pause and go wow. I recently discovered Bujairami Perfumes and I'm genuinely impressed. They're known for their take on designer and niche fragrances, but they also create their own originals like Sasha and Ruthless Vanilla. Everything I've tried so far has been so well done.

Not smelt Happy Dust as I probably won’t spend that amount of money on something I would use as a topper! I was curious about the scent profile so I got the Bujairami version. Straight out the box this was a lovely sweet, musky vanilla with moderate longevity & projection. Now that some time has passed this is way stronger and projects great - the scent has meshed together more fully. This is my current favourite layering scent - it really boosts the performance of some scents I have that are lacking in that area, getting a back up bottle. An absolutely stunning frag- airy, ethereal, sweet and a slight smokiness from that peru balsam 😍😍 will get a decant of Happy Dust and compare.

This has obviously been down voted by haters haha I because it smells great! I have many dupes of Happy Dust from indy brands, a decant of the real thing. This is a great dupe! Smells warm, sweet, slightly lemony to my nose. It’s a delicate scent, not a room filler (same as the real thing) but it’s very alluring. Very happy with this for all of $30.

This is a lovely fragrance and it smells like fairy dust. If you can find it get it. It's in the same family as happy dust, stardust, and match made. On my well moisturized skin it lasts a long time, and dries down to a pretty musk. My partner absolutely loved it on me.

I'm surprised about the hate this is getting. I don't know about the perfume it's supposed to be duping but as a fragrance, it is a wonderful smooth amberry vanilla. I can't stop smelling my wrist!

This smells like Happy Dust. Not sure why it has such low votes? I let it sit for a bit and its a perfect dupe. Not the longest lasting but the price is more than worth it

Let it sit for a few weeks and it really is like fairy dust. It’s sweet, airy and lingers... I really don’t know the reason for the low rating. It’s amazing

Mmm, gonna give this a few weeks to sit and do whatever perfumes do once oxygen gets into them. I bought this after a huge recommendation of this brand here in Aus from a fave youtuber. Also bought radiant romance and midnight booze. Both also need some time to 'intensify'. At present from Fairy Dust I get something like Princess by Kilian, just less marshmallowy. Havent smelt Happy Dust. I dont think it smells like Empire at all. Princess is weak to my nose. So is this at present. Im just getting the matcha tea notes and something a little bit sweet. We'll see in a few weeks. Crossing fingers it explodes. 🤞🏻

This is pretty but it is NOT stronger than Happy Dust! At least not straight out of the box. The scent is similar but more watery. I do believe that this will still get stronger. But it is definitely worth $28

About 90% similar to Happy Dust. Great price considering how pricey and hard to get this in Australia. I usually hate mango in notes but this is done and blended so well!

I love this scent profile. If only it had projection! Not even over spraying will get me to notice it. And longevity...sucks as well.

This smells so weak when you first buy it, I couldn’t smell anything! But I locked mine away for 2 months after a few sprays and now it’s divine. It’s a very fluffy, photorealistic vanilla bean scent, with has a slight green touch (I assume the matcha note) and it dries down to a much much creamier vanilla. This layers beautifully, I use it religiously with my Baciami .

It's okay. The dry down smells like every other vanilla perfume recently made.

Synthetic, cheap chemicals that triggered allergies and smell nothing like Happy Dust. I’d rather pay more for authentic niche fragrances made with quality oils than waste money on cheap, alcohol-heavy imitations.

Smells like melted plastic! A really really bad fake. Don't want to waste another scent strip by spraying another "perfume" from this line.

Full bottles of this and Marshmelt came today and both smell amazing. This one is strong straight away and the bottle/box presentation is gorgeous too. You'd think it was way more expensive. I'll definitely be buying from this brand again. I deleted my first review because this has totally changed since I first got it. I bought a 10ml decant of the original a while ago and have been desperate for a dupe ever since. I've been requesting Perfume Parlour to make it and they still haven't so I had to get this when I saw it. I've got the 100ml coming tomorrow along with Marshmelt. This is BEAUTIFUL and it's already gotten way stronger. To me it just smells like the original. I have one on each hand right now and there's little to no difference. Maybe there's something a little bit smoky in the original and the musk is a bit more fatty but I have had it much longer than Fairy Dust and it's much darker juice. I think I'm time they'll be the same. The scent itself is quite hard to describe for me. It's the texture of it that I absolutely adore. There's millions of sugary sweet scents and I love Vanilla 28 but this one is more unique. I can't say it smells like anything else I own. It's got elements of Vanilla 28, Silk Santal, Delizia de Marshmallow and Dama Bianca but it doesn't smell like any of them enough to really say they compare and I haven't tried Tihota yet. This one has a dusty powdery texture in the best way ever. It smells like dried leaves that you'd wrap around something to smoke, kind of like the leaves that wrap a cigar or cigarello, but if they'd been steeped in a solution of brown sugar and vanilla before being dried out then had something citrusy/mildly fruity (which must be the mango) sprayed over the top. I can smell an almost caramel scent in the air when it's dried down fully. Like toffee. I can pick out the tonka and Peru balsam too but not much coconut. If I didn't know it was in there I wouldn't have noticed it. Overall the notes are so well blended that nothing stands out massively. Just absolutely stunning. Addictive actually. I was supposed to be on a no buy and was gonna stick to my decants but I just couldn't. I've used a third of my 10ml already just from having the urge to spray myself when I'm at home. It's that gorgeous to me. I need a full bottle. I don't understand what the person above means by cheap chemicals and nothing like Happy Dust when it very much does smell like it. Her bottle either needs a couple of weeks to mature, ideally a couple of months if it's that bad as it might be brand new or it's just the same thing that gets posted on literally every dupe page for expensive niche fragrances. People just hate it that other people can smell like them and I get it tbh. I don't like telling people what I'm wearing because they'll go and buy it 🤣 I gatekeep and I'll admit to it but I'm gonna debunk them on this one. It might have tiny nuances that are slightly different but to everyone around you you'll just smell of Happy Dust. I've also ordered a roll on oil dupe from another company to layer with this. I cannot wait for them to arrive. It's boiling hot here at the minute so for the most part they'll be getting left to mature until winter then I'll be using them with EVERYTHING. Marshmelt doesn't have it's own page yet so I'll just quickly say it here, it's AMAZING! Smells amazing and is SUPER strong. I sprayed two sprays and with the fan on it was blowing around in the air all day and night. I sprayed some on my hand on the nighttime and by the next afternoon it was still going strong. It hadn't faded at all. It's like it sticks to your skin and you have to physically scrub it off yourself coz it won't fade naturally. So obviously I had to grab a full bottle of that too. The shipping for Delizia to the UK is way to much and is more than the perfume itself.

Idk I’ve never smelt happy dust so cant comment on similarity, however this smells really basic, like a lighter Bianco Latte mixed with a typical floral and fruity deodorant from Dove. Idk it’s not addictive and beautiful as people say. Also, I have Princess by Kilian and I don’t see any resemblance. Kilian for me is the ultimate powdery marshmallow and its so addictive. I literally cannot stop smelling it. So this was quite underwhelming considering the hype. Lastly, I will give it the benefit of sitting in my cupboard a while to see whether strength and longevity improves, but so far its gone within 30 minutes. I hope it gets better with time 🤞🏼

This is in no way a “dupe” for Happy Dust. Considering it as its own fragrance, it’s not worth $50, $60 or more. It’s just an ordinary unimpressive amber vanilla, with basically no projection or longevity. It lasted less than 30 minutes on skin and actually started to stink in the drydown. Please stop hyping this one up and driving people to waste their money. I paid $25 and it’s not worth even that. Genre, Dua, and Fragrantbodyoilz all make great spot on dupes for HD that are worth what they cost if that is your quest. This one is a hard pass for me.

When a fragrance has 50/50 love and hate you know people are tactically voting 🤣 ill just wait unto the hype settles and come back here for more honest reviews. However, in this particular case it seems some haters are just hating for no good reason as I've heard people I trust recommend this. We'll have to wait and see

Lovely scent. A bit similar to the OG. However, lasting performance is really bad. Maybe need to macerate? Wish that bottle looked better, because it’s so bulky. Not a fan. But scent is beautiful and good alternative to the OG, just not as fruity as I wish it was. Overall I would say 7.5/10

I do not understand the negative reviews. I just got mine and it is so so good. Stronger than Happy Dust straight out of the box. Can't speak to the longevity yet but the smell is so lovely! I don't regret my purchase.

Over 200 perfumes........this is in the top3!! Let me tell you this smells literally like a sniff of heaven! I went to the grocery store and no exaggeration was stopped by multiple groups of people! GET it....

Not an exact dupe for happy dust, but it’s kind of nice in its own way. To me the fruity notes stands out more in fairy dust whereas in happy dust I smell a balance of matcha, fruit and vanilla.
