Burberry has made a Goddess that is a powerhouse, and as someone who loves strong fragrances with amazing longevity and projection, I am absolutely thrilled. Intensity: 10/10 Longevity: 10/10 Projection: 10/10 I personally love fragrances that have presence. I want to be able to smell my perfume throughout the day while I’m wearing it, and this is exactly what I’ve been waiting for from Burberry Goddess. I absolutely love the original Burberry Goddess — it’s a beautiful fragrance — but I always felt that it was simply too light for my taste. I constantly wished it had more strength, more projection, and more staying power. Well... Burberry finally listened! 😂 The new Burberry Goddess Amber Vanilla is a complete game changer for me. It has the vanilla that I love, but it’s not just sweet and simple. There’s something sexy, warm, sophisticated and addictive about it. It manages to be sweet while still feeling elegant and grown-up. I also wasn’t crazy about the original Goddess Intense. For my personal taste, I found that version a little too masculine. Amber Vanilla is much more my style. The vanilla really shines, but it has enough depth and sensuality to keep it from becoming overly sugary. This is definitely giving me fall, winter and nighttime vibes, although I think you could absolutely wear it during the day. For daytime, I would probably stick to two sprays. If you want that beautiful, noticeable powerhouse effect for an evening out, you could easily go with three or four sprays. And the longevity? AMAZING. The projection? AMAZING. The intensity? Finally, a Burberry Goddess that delivers! This is a LOVE LOVE LOVE for me. ❤️ I already knew I needed it in my collection, and I officially purchased the 100 ml bottle from Sephora today. Burberry Goddess Amber Vanilla is exactly what I wanted Goddess to be — sexy, sweet, sophisticated and POWERFUL. A total winner for me!

I got this as a 5ml free sample while purchasing the original Burberry Goddess, and I love it. The original is still warm and sweet in the dry down, but has a strong lavender opening. Meanwhile Goddess Amber Vanilla is, in my feeling, creamier, sweeter, without that prominent lavender note in the opening. The dry down smells like warm honey milk to me, pretty subtle and very cozy. All in all, I'd say it's a sweeter, warmer version of the original Burberry Goddess, but also a more linear fragrance, and it sacrifices some of the lavender to make room for the maple syrup and amber. More suitable for autumn/winter, as opposed to the OG which I think you can use year-round. If you like these types of warm sweet vanilla fragrances, I suggest you give this one a try, but I'm not sure if it's a safe blind buy. It all depends on your personal tastes.

July 14th 2026 UK PURCHASE Dear God Finally!!! This is like Dior Amber Nuit on steroids - on initial sprays (yes I crazily sprayed 3 times and the sprayer on this is intense) it's extremely animalic, that's a nice way to say it stinks of pee BUT I would expect that from a perfume that actually smells of straight up brandy boozy yet also refined sex in a bottle. You can smell the lavender after an hour but it's extremely subtle on my skin. Ambery gorgeousness. I bought two bottles and I don't usually love many new fragrances but this is impressive sillage and if you love proper perfumery perfumes from the old skool you're going to love this. It stands on its own, it doesn't matter it's a flanker, it seriously is its own juice. Go forth and BUY.

Immediate impression is that Amber Vanilla is a more rich, woody and unisex take on the general Goddess DNA. (For the record, I like OG Goddess, but it always gives me a headache.) I agree it's not gourmand-leaning despite the addition of a maple syrup note. I'm thoroughly enjoying how the scent evolves during wear and not picking up anything resembling pee, fortunately. It's very luxurious and will be perfect for cold weather wear! ** Update 8/5 - Wearing Amber Vanilla again today and enjoying it even more! Those who find the OG to be too floral will likely appreciate this woody vanilla flanker. I honestly don't find it to be more vanilla-forward than the OG though, which may be disappointing for some given the flanker's name.

This is absolutely gorgeous and I encourage anyone who likes the intense version to try this one out too. It's basically a darker, more syrupy version of Goddess without the shrill lavender intro. I personally really enjoy amber in this perfume and you can really smell it in the dry down, which makes sense. It does give off fall vibes even though you could pull it off at any time to be honest. I wouldn't say it's particularly overwhelming (intense is definitely stronger, strong lavender and patchouli bring a lot of zest to it), but it does last and I can still smell it for hours. The bottle is definitely the pretties in the whole range so far.

I picked this up in Sephora in Paris at the end of June. It is a lovely and warm caramelized vanilla on top of the Goddess DNA. I’m a Goddess fan and this flanker is a huge success in my opinion. I do not get a maple syrup note - which to me would show up as heavy, thick and sweet. This is not that kind of sweetness. If you love the original and you love vanilla, this may be for you. I really love it.

This will be without a doubt the new viral vanilla fragrance on TikTok this year. I just bought this at Sephora Italia and it’s absolutely breathtaking. Warm, sensual, adult vanilla with a softer lavender note. The maple syrup accord is very subtle and well balanced. It’s just as iconic as the OG. I have yet to test out its longevity and projection but it’s beautiful on the skin.

Oh Yes, I like this one way more than the other two. Although the original is a nice more floral version, this one is more velvety... just something about it. I sprayed it on and walked around the store before deciding to purchase and I can smell myself lingering in the air... had to purchase it. Mmm will definitely be a winter fragrance for sure❤️

It feels like Burberry tried to make so many versions of this perfume, but they all failed. Only the original was successful. But with this Goddess Amber Vanilla, they finally made it. This version is just as good as the Goddess OG, maybe even better. Absolutely amazing!

I like the whole goddess series, but as a vanilla-gourmand lover, this is the pinnacle. It also doesn't contain an endocrine disruptor some of the others have.

I’m not a fan of the OG, & I’m a true hater of the other 2 flankers. But this one...is doing something for me. There’s a carnal effervescence. Yum.

Just dont understand why people vote for perfumes they didnt even smell it yet.....whats wrong with you?!

This is SUPER woody and dense. "masculine"- leaning (even though I don't agree with it, nor do I "gender" a fragrance). This is almost... cologne-esque. It's absolutely deeper and warmer than the original. I don't like ANY of the flankers - the intense and the parfum both STINK. I think the original was the best...and even that I only have a 1 oz bottle of, and I do like it, but it's not life-changing to me - there are way better similar options. What I DO think I like about this...the woody, ambery, unique vibe. It's got that original DNA but again more warmed up. I only did a travel spray to start...but I could see myself grabbing a 1 oz bottle of this when my original runs out, and if I find the bottle at a lower price. I'd say it's a solid 8/10.

I was expecting more warmth and sweetness but it’s not a gourmand scent. It’s very strong though. What I can say for sure - it has a crazy scent trail! I received it today and sprayed once before leaving home. When I came back I was smelling it all over the staircase in my building. Longevity is very good too. It smells expensive💅

This is the best of the flankers, but it’s still not a patch on the original, which I think is wonderful. I won’t be getting a full bottle.

I have an adore-dislike relationship with the original Goddess and wear is dependent on mood and whim. My main challenge is the lavender they use. I detect herbal notes over everything, so I sometimes find it too overpowering to wear. This feels similar - the baseline is that I like it and it will sell...but there’s an errant lavender, bready, stale note in there which takes it from a 9/10 to a 7/10. Maybe I will feel different when my next mood hits. Give me ten minutes for my next personality to arrive...

I got 5 ml sample and oh well. No, thanks, I will stick to OG edp. Amber vanilla feels flat, looses its velvety structure that OG has. Surprisingly added maple syrup creates very citrusy note together with lavender. Although it is interesting effect I detest citrusy vanilla both in my cakes and perfumes - so it's big no from me. In the opening seems very similar to Libre Intense. Gets better with the dry down (as the citrusy note fades), but sits very closely to skin, doesn't project much.

The Burberry goddess range is such a mess to me. The original is perfection. This new one feels like a worst, more expensive version of the original. It’s very similar, just not as good. The dry down smells like dry Cheerios to me. No idea why anyone thought this version was needed. Something original please!

Amber Vanilla isn't as sweet as the original EDP. I actually feel it's squarely unisex, leaning ever so slightly masculine. The vanilla is dialed way back in this one, and the maple syrup note isn't as interesting as the lavendar-ginger-cacao combination in the original. There's also a clean vibe (not quite soapy, just CLEAN) in the original Goddess dry down that's missing from Amber Vanilla. I prefer Amber Vanilla to the other flankers, but I still don't like it. I've gone through four 100ml bottles of the original EDP. I love the DNA, and even though Amber Vanilla is the closest to the original, it still missed the mark for me. Side Note: It's time we put the OG Goddess up there in the MASTERPIECE category. Amandine Clerc-Marie captured lightning in a bottle with the original EDP.

Such a huge disappointment. I love Burberry Goddess, but these flankers are becoming increasingly uninspired. There’s just not enough separating one from the next. Changing a note or two doesn’t necessarily make for an interesting new fragrance. I had high hopes for this one, especially with the amber. The initial spray was actually promising, but then the lavender and maple syrup took over, and on my skin the combination turned strangely sour and almost funky. The drydown smells absolutely horrible on me. I kept waiting for it to settle into something beautiful, but it never did. Sadly, this is a hard no.

Very different and interesting perfume. I expected it to be sweeter and more similar to Burberry Goddess og but it’s totally different. It’s more woody, more masculine, it’s not gourmand at all (at least in my opinion) and has a very interesting note something different but not necessarily something I liked. Could it be from the maple syrup I wonder? All day I could smell it on my hand and I did not like it. My friend also said she doesn’t like it, but she does like og Goddess. I am actually happy I don’t have to buy it. It’s a pass. As for longevity - it lasted on my skin all day until I washed it off.

Honestly, being spammed with these identical renders has completely killed my interest in this line, even in the fragrances I already own. At this point, the line just comes across to me as soulless AI-generated content, and the flankers barely stand apart from each other, not even in the campaign images or the bottles. Flankers including this one are piercingly strong, with what I perceive as a fermented hay-like smell from a horse stable and an unbalanced sweetness. Definitely not for me. I’ll be selling my 100 ml OG along with the refill pack. :/

I was so excited to see maple syrup in the note but was very disappointed; this is sickly sweet but not in a good way, this is almost sickly sweet like juicy couture, jean paul gaultier perfumes. If I would not have known that there is maple syrup I would not detect the note. It almost feel like men's cologne to me, the dry down resemblance more the OG - which is only perfume from this line I like. Its also strong, definitely for fall & winter.

They ruined Goddess with this. I was excited about the maple syrup accord, but it ended up smelling like Goddess with a much more gourmand vanilla. As it dries down, it reminds me of buttered bread.

I love the original—I’ve bought it more than once. It’s soft, warm, and enveloping. This one, however, opens with an extremely dry, austere, almost dusty quality that feels distinctly masculine. It has none of the original’s softness or creaminess. To me, it smells like the original diluted to about 30%, then mixed with dry spices and a dense, heavy, wintery men’s fragrance. Absolutely not. Zero.

I've just tested this in Boots (UK) and these are my initial thoughts: I was surprised that it wasn't an especially sweet fragrance. I assumed the maple syrup note and the caremelised (or roasted?) vanilla would have given this a distinct sweetness, but it didn't, much to my disappointment. I do wish I hadn't read the review saying that this had a urine note, as after spraying it on my skin, literally all I could smell was warm wee... not pleasant. I can still smell this "aroma" more than an hour after spraying and don't think it's going to fade completely. I am getting some warmth and sweetness coming through from the vanilla now, which I wasn't getting much at the start. The lavender is virtually undetectable to me, as is the amber. I think I need to revisit this perfume when the weather cools down to see how it settles then. Right now it's a no from me. Prices are very steep too - £105 for 50ml and £154 for 100ml.

Agreed, Krysco, the Original Goddess still reigns supreme. This one isn't bad, and is, in my opinion, the best of the flankers. I feel like they missed the mark with the type of amber they chose. This is coming accross to me as a scratchy amberwood chemical in the base and it gives a sharpness to the blend that is common in men's designer scents. I think that aspect is why many ppl are registering this as unisex or masc leaning. I get it, but this still feels femme to me. This one is darker and more edgy than the original, and I like the concept. Still, I wish they would've gone with a softer, smoother, more vanillic amber base over the sharp, cologne style one that is present here.

One person online mentioned that they can smell urine note in this perfume. I checked this perfume today at Sephora and l totally get what they mean. In the drydown there's slight animalic,urine note. I assume it must be the maple syrup mixed with lavender in the notes. I wish the lavender was a bit stronger tho. I left the blotter on the night stand for like an hour or two and l started smelling aroma of warm morning piss. Like l'm sorry to say that but it was confirmed by other reviewers. Is it perfume for someone who enjoys golden showers?idk Otherwise great perfume. Don't find it sweet but l guess piss only smells sweet if you have diabetes.

The opening is beautiful and doesn't smell anything like the original. After about 10 minutes, I started smelling bacon. I realized that was the maple. Then it went away and the complete drydown smelled like the original DNA. Not yet sure if I will purchase because the drydown doesn't smell too different with my body chemistry compared to the original, which I already own. I wish the opening scent was in more of the drydown.

At first, this perfume was absolutely gorgeous- sweet, addictive, and really inviting. Unfortunately, as it dried down, a note came through that just didn’t work for me. It became quite overpowering and started giving me a headache. I really didn’t enjoy the dry-down, even though the opening was fantastic. I even tried washing it off with soap, but it wouldn’t budge, so I have to give it credit for its impressive longevity!

While the EDP is a beautiful blend that I will continue to repurchase (I use up a bottle every summer), the flankers are a huge disappointment and they all smell almost identical. I for one don't see the need to pay so much money for something that smells just like the previous version. I don't like either of the flankers, they need to either let it go or come up with something different, how about an EDT version? Ugh.

Was nervous about the maple note as a maple note hater and this is beautiful the maples there to sweeten it up but you don’t smell like dirty pancakes. It’s more like an aromatic maple leaf if that makes sense. It’s unisex leaning more feminine but I think may be too sweet some men. It’s a different take on goddess better than the other flanker, suede mess they put out last time. Enjoying this a lot

It's available in EU and should be coming to US in August. So far the best flanker. OG is still my fave and I used up two bottles already (I usually do not like lavender but thankfully I do not smell it much in the oG and even less in this one). This is darker deeper and more rich version - not vanilla sweeter but simply deeper due to amber. Bottle worthy.

The Initial spray is absolutely delicious, edible, yum! The maple is there and not bad at all. Within 10 mins this strange note came out - almost like a stinky sandalwood...which I know is not listed but it’s so prominent to my nose. The sweetness of the maple syrup was fighting to come out but I can’t get past that odd note

The opening is sweeter and more intense than og Burberry goddess however as it dries down it doesn’t smell as pleasant . It starts to smell powdery in the dry down . I will say that it does last longer and the projection is stronger than the original though

I actually love it , you can kind of get the og DNA but once I figured out what this reminds me of it's hard to smell anything else. It REALLY reminds me of atelier des ors novae vanilla. I'm glad I don't own that one. But I did have a sample.

I really don’t like the lavender in this or the lavender trend in feminine fragrances in general, but this is definitely better than the original. might get a travel to give it a chance because the rest of the composition is very nice

Don't like it. Not cause it smells bad, or "urinary"... it's just nothing new. People smell more vanilla, but I smell more lavender, and it makes it so sharp and masculine. Still prefer the Parfum edition over all else.

Honestly not that different from the OG. A slightly deeper vanilla. It’s not a bad fragrance. But with the plethora of vanilla’s on market, it just feels unnecessary and redundant.

I feel like this is the one people will love that dislike the original. Less lavender and more vanilla. If you love the original, you likely won’t be a fan of this one.
