Hero Parfum Intense

This is so good and so addictive, it should be illegal. Seriously, how is this not getting the hype of a boss bottled absolu or another designer release?! Especially when this is so unique and niche compared to almost all of the other designer frags I own. It doesn't smell anything like boss bottled absolu (just using that as an example of a hype beast), but they are both dark and resinous and geared towards cold weather. Instead of heavy patchouli with vanilla, this has a gorgeous woods heart from the cypress that is exceptionally smooth due to the additional of a very non-animalic leather. I don't love leather in fragrances, that fake "new car smell" usually gives me a headache, but when blended right, it seems to smooth a fragrance out and that's exactly what it brings to the table here. Again, using a frag it doesn't smell like as an example, the way leather is used here is similar to the way it smooths out mancera intense cedrat boise, or adds depth to narcisco rodriguez blu noire parfum... It takes an edge off and just makes the whole thing less focused on any one note without taking anything away from the concoction. It's not for everyone, but to my nose, this is so perfectly balanced and blended, it's hard to believe it can be had for anywhere near $100 at a discounter site. It smells exceptionally intriguing and expensive. All the usual qualifiers about subjectivity apply, but if you like smooth and dark, woodsy, spicy, fragrances for winter, this is about as good a fragrance as you will ever find, regardless of price. Nobody would be surprised if it came in a PDM bottle, but burberry hero flanker??? And I like the edp a lot, but this is just next level work.

I just put my nose on this at a Sephora and it's really good. There's a citrus note in here, maybe a lime or something similarly rindy and not too sweet. Whatever it is, the hint of citrus just plays so well with the woods and amber, all held up by a super easy to wear leather note (nothing too animalic,). It's not what I was expecting at all - I have the EDP and I'm convinced it catches a lot of undeserved hate, but it's flanker that hero is known by. I love the parfum opening, but there's a leather or other note in the dry down that I find headache inducing and thus isn't something I would ever purchase. The parfum intense, however, doesn't smell like either nearly as much as I was expecting. This is smoother, less sweet and less in your face than the EDP, with a bit of citrus to balance what balsamic, woods, and sweet there is. I'm shocked, but this doesn't smell like anything else I've put my nose on lately and for a mass-appealing fragrance line from a very solid, but no-longer typically trend-setting designer brand, that's saying a more than a little bit. I love a good gourmand, incense, vanilla, or blue fragrance as much as the next guy and those styles are extremely popular for a reason. This isnt really in any of those "modern" genres. It's just good perfumery, without trying to be like something extremely popular at the moment (how many versions of the most wanted does anyone really need?), or trying hard to stay away from something popular just to stand out. I'll wait a bit before putting my nose on it again, but I definitely plan on taking at least a test ride sometime this year.

This is my second review. After wearing this a few times it's even better than I thought before. The dry down is something else entirely and while I think a few people have noticed how fresh it gets (in a spicy/sweet sort of way), it develops this eminently pleasant powdery freshness! I can't tell when it starts or begins to evolve, but there's a reminiscence to the dry down of givenchy gentlemen intense which is just a gorgeous fresh take on iris. There's a similarity here that I never saw coming or expected. Maybe it's just off my skin, but with the way this fragrance changes through the various notes, it's easily the best release of 2025 (in my opinion) and the best in the line. Hell, this is the best fragrance I've put my nose on in a long time and instantly takes a spot in the top few fragrances in my collection - joining Herod, Naxos, TF Ebene Fume, and few others. This punches way above its weight for fall and winter and the newfound freshness makes it so much more versatile than I think many realize when they first smell it on a strip. Get and decant, spray your arm in the store, just give it a chance to dry down without introducing anything else to the mix. You'll be glad you did.

Hero Parfum Intense is a woody, spicy, and smoky fragrance. The opening reveals a dark aroma of woods and spices specifically black pepper along with a smoky accord. This phase brought back a faint memory of *Nuit d'Issey*, although the Issey Miyake fragrance featured more citrus notes, whereas they are barely perceptible in Hero. As time passes, the smoky tone subsides slightly, and a leather accord emerges to reinforce the woody scent, creating a very masculine and pleasant aroma. This version of Hero is better suited for evening wear and for autumn or winter weather. It could serve as a signature scent for the office, casual outings with friends, or formal occasions. While it leans towards a more mature audience, younger men might appreciate it too; in fact, my son really liked it. Its longevity proved impressive in my tests, lasting over 10 hours, with strong projection during the first two. So far, this is my favorite version in the Hero line, even if it is one of the least versatile. I encourage anyone who hasn't tried it yet to give it a chance, it might just be a pleasant surprise.

This is the fragrance that transformed me from a casual to full-blown addict. The Scent: Opens with very strong pepper and leather notes supported by the cedar base. The leather and pepper gradually die down over the first few hours without fully vanishing, but they make way for the rich cedar to take the stage. And that's really it, the elegance is in the simplicity, and the performance is NEXT LEVEL, speaking of... The Performance: Go easy on the sprays, and make sure you like the scent because once it's on your skin, it's not coming off. I distinctly remember one of my earliest wears: I applied 2 sprays at 9am, and even though I still had a decent scent bubble, I applied 1 more spray ~4pm. I ran some errands, got a workout in at the gym, including 2 showers and a 45min swim in the pool. Drove home and went to bed. The next morning I was shocked to realize it was still a noticeable skin scent. Sillage is strong even in cold weather, in warm weather or near a heater it will be an absolute room filler. Enjoy responsibly!

This deserves some actual hype as it has flown almost totally under the radar since release. Burberry Hero Parfum Intense is such a beautiful autumn and winter scent. It’s a vast improvement over the regular Parfum and fixes what I didn’t like about it (possibly the removal of the cypriol oil which is one note I do not like in any fragrance). The leather in this is actually rather light and very wearable to me. It doesn’t resemble Dior Sauvage Elixir in the slightest, if anything it smells like a less sweet and less complex SWY Parfum, and I prefer this one by far to that one. Very masculine, spicy, woody, mildy sweet, and the soft leather here makes this very easy to wear and perfect for cold weather. Not as heavy of a scent as you might expect either and it has solid longevity! And it’s finally on discounters, for the price you can get this for now it’s worth picking up in my opinion.

Hero Intense smells very good, and it's probably the best flanker in the Burberry Hero lineup. I have Hero EDP, and it's a little more difficult to wear -- its opening is a bit too almost-animalic for my taste (although it smoothens out in the dry down), whereas Hero Intense is a very smooth, not harsh, sweet, woody leather scent. It's more mass appealing than the other Heroes. In the mid, it smells like Hero EDP + sweet leather. In the dry down, it smells akin to PDM Althair with just a tad more sweetness to it (which is good since I'm not actually a fan of Althair). Judged on its own, it's full-bottle worthy. But if you own Hero EDP, it's probably *just* close enough that you might find it too redundant to purchase. And while it's a good smelling leather, if you own other leather fragrances, Hero Intense is probably unlikely to shine above the rest.

Feels like a mix of the designer smelling molecole of le male absolute elixir, some hints of figness due to the cedar and the leather, and the smell of dirty leather of guilty Absolute ph. Qithout any of the cypress,vetiver and bergamot. This One smells like a air Port duty free and a bit of hot-poured asphalt. Every time a wear It i go blind for at least 8 hours, and then you can start to smell a bit of dry down. Due to its brutale sillage, you appreciate It when you dont wear the clothes that you sprayed. Its fresh, sweet, pungent and elegant. I give it a solid 10/10. The orto Parisi cuoium comparison Is real. It remind me of It only when i wear It, when nose go blind to the designer molecole, It really reminded me of cuoium and black afghano animalic notes.

I just tested it randomly in a sample and I just love with this. I haven't got a big collection (sauvage/versace EDP - Najim) but i've tried some samples and this one is just amazing. It lasts till you get again a shower and the drydown is just amazing. At first it could be strong, you can feel its presence in the room, absolutely but it's that kind of pleasant hard but soft presence. I've tried to spray some in a wooden wardrobe (open, where there's air current so not stagnating) and it's lasting for more than 36h. It's nothing like the standard Hero, the hero is soft compared to this, almost weak. This is the one where it's nature really comes out. Cons: Absolutely to avoid in summer in my opinion but for fall and especially winter this is a real killer.

After using a bottle of the Hero EDP, whoch I absolutely liked I blind purchased this. 1. RRP is not good (maybe half and is worthy) 2. It's a very serious frag 3. The leather note is strong, as in shoes and a real tannery lol so don't expect the Ombre Leather style. 4. Hard to adjust and wear to other than business situations, maybe Church and debt collection. Not saying anything bad, it is a gorgeous perfume but I feel like a Cardinal or some pastor while wearing it. Peppery, very much. Sweet? A bit, but exactly the confusing type because you can't associate it with anything sweet. It is artsy and good, but I see it no where near TF OL line. I would pick the EdP and the EdT at any time before Parfum Intense... For serious people, and not all situations.

Definitely my favorite flanker out of the entire line when my husband wears this it’s an absolute panty dropper, not gonna lie! Sexy, AF, mature, extremely masculine, high class niche fragrance without the niche price tag. I couldn’t be happier to buy this for my man. Absolutely zero regrets and will buy the refill when he’s done with it. We work together in an office and I don’t care what anybody says about it being strictly a nighttime fragrance, this man lights up the office when he walks by everybody just smiles, cause they know it’s him not offensive at all just smells incredibly good on human skin. The longevity on clothes is insane. I can still smell it when I’m doing the laundry on Sundays.

Back to this... Berberrrreeey So, if you want to smell like Madame Touseaud musem but a bit peppery, this is it! The waxiest perfume in my collection. Basically wax, with pepper / spices. Long, very long lasting. Excellent projection and bypasses other fragrances around. It eats them. If you are the serious type, dress better than you look and want some aura points, this will suit you. I don't like ot for the seriousness, smells like a constipated cardinal or a closeted headmaster at Hogwarts... Nonetheless, it is unique, can be pleasant IF NOT OVERSPRAYED. Maybe the best Burberry. (Don't know the Elixir) A high 9/10 for uniqueness, longevity and price. Very good Berrberreee

In my opinion the best in the Hero line. Its simple, and very mature. Peppery and leather notes with a strong pepper open, and it sweetens up a little as it dries down smell a bit more of that cedar wood. I get a lot of compliments on it. Definitely not a year round though, I wouldn't wear it in the summer although I will test it out first a day or two just to see. But I would say its mostly a night time, winter and fall scent. Definitely better for colder or cloudy days. But highly recommend for those that are looking for a more mature manly scent. Its definitely not for everyone. It is my favorite at the moment and a solid 10/10 for me.

More resinous and smoky than the Parfum and IMO better. Lasts about as long, doesn't have much relation to the EDP other than having the fragrance be based around wood. Cuts through the cold San Francisco air like butter, if you'll be inside less sprays is more. The EDP comes off as a woody Ultra Male, Parfum is real similar to Santa 33, and the Parfum Intense is the most original to my nose. It's actually sweeter than Parfum, achieves a good balance compared to the EDP which might be for younger enthusiasts. They're all solid choices, I had to get all 3...waiting on Hero Elixir. Here's the drill - if you're into hard, in-your-face, leathery fragrances, this is a great one. Great projection, mediocre performance (it's gone in 6 hours). In the first 6 hours, there's abosolutely no way to get rid of the smell, it projects from miles away, but for some reason, after the 6th hour it simply disappears. Secondly - VERY mature scent, not appropriate for the younger audience at all. It's one of those fragrances that are great on certain men, but completely out of place for others.

Smells like a soft, warm, and well-loved leather jacket! It opens with the sour spiciness of black pepper and then transitions into a clean dark leather. I like it a lot, perhaps love, --- the leather note here is beautiful --- but I think the Ombre Leather still reigns as my favorite leather fragrance since it's fruitier, better projecting, and longer lasting. If you're a fan of leather, it's worth trying both and seeing which you like better! (and which pricetag you can justify paying ;D)

Definitely in the same vein as Eau d'Ombre Leather and Babycat. Thick cut leather over amber, cedar, benzoin, vanilla. Comes off with a smokey incense vibe on my skin in the dry down. A huge departure from the previous Hero frags I've tried. Very high quality with great performance. Beast mode projection and longevity. I got over 12 hours on skin and even washed my hands a couple of times in between. I will definitely be picking up a decant as the weather gets cooler.

This fragrance works pretty well as long as its under 80F or 26.6C. I got a familiar sent from a coworker on a 76F sunny weather. I asked what it was. It was Burberry Hero Intense. I was surprised. I feel like its more of a evening, fall cloudy scent but it worked. I wouldn't try it for myself, but i feel like a small spray of 2-3 can work on mild heat. I'd say spray it an hour before heading out because the opening is relatively strong.

Better than Boss Bottled Absolu. Tested both side by side and went with this. The leather at the opening reminds a little bit of TF Ombre leather but way less animalic (i have a tester of that and enjoy that too). On my skin the leather fades away in few hours and I have absolutely divine vanillic cedar drydown where the leather works as a subtle supporting note. Gorgeous. Paid 58 euros for 50ml which feels like a steal.

oooh this one is good! A rare buy on first smell bottle for me. When I bought it, I was actually testing the new Tom Ford Eau d'Ombré Leather, and I really disliked the leather in it. It smells gross lol. The sales lady had me test the new Burberry Hero Parfum Intense. Wow! It has just the right balance. The leather is soft and smooth. You really have to try this one. The performance is actually really solid too!!

I've liked every fragrance in this line so far. This one is no exception. I think it's a great balance of notes with the dark, masculine leather and peppered cedar being prominent at first and the vanilaesque sweetness gradually coming in to keep it feeling alluring and modern. If you enjoy the rest of this line or leather scents like John Varvatos's Dark Rebel, you should check this one out.

I’ve had a rather negative view on mainstream designer fragrances, but 2026 is the year breaking down these dated beliefs. Hero Parfum Intense does fill the same niche as Ombré Leather. It’s a gorgeous, rich leather fragrance, akin to walking into a leather shop. Black pepper dominates the first encounters, while cedar lurks underneath. Gorgeous. Need a bottle asap.

Sprayed this on my fiancé when we were last in Sephora and I wanted to eat him. It’s a fairly typical woody, leathery, more “masculine” leaning scent, but it has a vanillary sweetness and a hint of firey smokiness to it. Yummy scrummy. Makes me want to force him to take his shirt off and chop wood in the snow for hours on end just so I can sit there and watch.

It opens with a heavy black pepper that quickly settles into an earthy leather and cedarwood oils in the heart. The base gets dark, resinous, and ambery. I think the amber plays early on alongside the pepper for some of the initial sweetness, but it's a rich buttery smooth sweetness not sugary nor syrupy. It's a great evening scent.

I am so pleasantly surprised! This is a fantastic leather scent, perfect for fall and winter and cooler spring days. It's vaguely similar to Hero EdP but the leather really elevates this one. It is unique and smells great, last long and has pretty decent projection. 10/10.

I generally like all the hero line but this on is special too me. I got a sample first and I absolutely fall in love with it. Great parfum with a interesting opening of leather and black pepper and a dry down of more woody scent. For me it's 10 out of 10

ts is the bomb bro i tell you it smell so good and if you dont like the smell i think there's something wrong with your nose. Definitely worth buying this fragrance and surprisingly, for a designer brand, it performs well. gonna gatekeep ts.

It’s good!! Very good! Best Burberry Hero flanker of them all. The leather scent smells clean unlike some that smell like burnt rubber. It’s long lasting as well! Dries down into a smooth and slightly sweet woodsy scent. I love it!

This is one of the better releases of the year and definitely the best in the line up for mature men. The EDP is good but this the one. It’s darker and more mysterious. Kinda like Gucci guilty elixir but darker. It’s a easy 9/10

Beautiful scent. One of the best dry downs i have ever smelled. Sweet woody not too harsh. Very mature and “serious” scent. But the drydown is just so sweet and playful. 10/10 fragrance for me.

Might be the best leather fragrance I've ever tried. It's not as oppressively heavy as Ombre Leather yet it manages to be the right amount of dark a leather scent should be.

Take Boss bottled absolute and Joop le parfum and mix them, you will have Burberry parfum intense. Its a nice moden fragrance however performance is not great.

The only Hero worth buying for me. If you’re a leather fan then this is for you. Dark sophisticated and not sweet or fruity like others. Big thumbs up for me

I'm excited for this. I found the regular Parfum to be a little bland, so maybe the leather note can make it a better scent.

Smells like "1 Million Royal" - but even less sweetness and more serious.

This grew on me. It doesnt feel outdated at all, but quite manly.

(Review of Sample Bottle - 1.5ml) It's a great, crowd pleasing leather/woody scent for men. In the opening, it started with a blast of worn-in leather and some sort of sweetness. I didn't get any pepper initially, but after a couple minutes it started to show up a bit more, although it's used more to add a warmth to the scent. It's not prominent or distinct - purely for subtlety and nuance. This fragrance is SMOOTH as it transitions into the heart notes (and drydown too), slowly the leather starts to let that three cedar blend through the door and everything is enveloped in a gorgeous, forested aroma. There's also some sort of animalic note in there, that's really hard for my nose to pin down. It's this perfect sprinkle of funk that lifts those woods up. Like a stinky little fox sprinting through foliage, dotted with flecks of sunlight. The leather stays throughout the whole experience, and turns powdery as the heart notes really start to settle in. Dry down consists of that powdered leather (which fades over time for the wood to take center stage), the cedar blend, and that delicate sweetness. The longer it sits, the more radiant and warm those woods get. It's simple juice, but the overarching experience with it is incredibly pleasant. I think this is a beautiful scent, but I find it a little drab for my own standards. I like more complex scents than this typically. However, despite that, I find this to be an excellent option for anyone looking for something as a go-to for the colder months. It's got some excellent sillage and projection too, radiates off my skin a full arm's length for a while, and lasts all day (8+ hours). This is an easy one to reach for. Just try samples for the whole line first, since the whole line shares that cedar underbelly, you might find another one in the Hero lineage that suits your tastes more.

I’m reviewing this fragrance from the perspective of the average person. While detailed scent breakdowns can be useful, not everyone relates to them. I’m more focused on how the fragrance comes across in real life, especially to someone experiencing it without any context. To help with that, I’ve included the opinion of a female friend. This is a subjective, experience-based review. Burberry Hero Parfum Intense is surprisingly powdery and a bit sweet. There is strong leather, with an element of pepper, but there’s also something like white chocolate going on. My friend said it felt slightly waxy and reminded her more of a designer home store than a typical masculine fragrance (think The White Company) . I can see what she means. It could almost pass as a scented candle rather than a perfume. This does not mean it is not an appealing perfume in it's own right. It lasted on skin for 2-3 hours before becoming quite subtle, and while sillage is immediate and present leaving a confident trail and two foot projection, after 1-2 hours this is significantly reduced. It’s not unpleasant at all, but it doesn’t really stand out either. If you work in a professional setting and can reapply once or twice during the day, this would be a solid choice for an autumn or winter office scent.

There really isn't much in common between Hero Parfum Intense and D&G K EDP Intense, aside from a smooth leather note, which isn't even the same type of leather. K EDP Intense presents a fruity, fresh, shower gel blue scent that is suitable for year-round wear, particularly in warm and hot conditions. While Hero PI offers a dark, smoky, leathery, vanillic, and woody aroma that is best suited for winter and autumn. Hero PI is also quite potent and has a nutty nuance, with the leather initially giving off a gasoline-like scent that eventually dissipates. This goes into niche, many will probably not like it, at least not in the opening and mid. Thus, these two fragrances are quite distinct; however, Hero Parfum Intense is a beautiful fragrance. Even though I'm not typically a fan of leather scents, this one stands out as something truly unique in today's market. At first, I received a tester sample and found it to be quite generic and dull. However, I kept returning to it; it has an addictive quality, especially if you enjoy very dark fragrances. This really is perfumery at its finest. Update: This has a ton of vanilla and is a very heavy fragrance. You don't need more than 3 sprays with it, and I think it might be even stronger than other famous elixirs.

The EDT version is the cleanest-smelling and most practical version. It's truly fresh and quite masculine. The other products in the series can be a bit boring with their leather and coconut notes, but the final stages are all very clean and practical. I think they offer a quality profile that's not too noticeable yet, but blends in well. There are four fragrances in this series, and all four are different from each other. I'd like to help those interested in this perfume sort: Clean, light, bright, vibrant, and sophisticated: EDT Slightly subtle, but relatively energetic, with a slight coconut note: EDP Deepest, very leather-themed, close to the skin, and uniform: PARFUM The coconut is the most pronounced, vibrant, and leather-themed: PARFUM INTENSE My preference for this particular fragrance was definitely the EDT version. The only version in the series that feels different is the EDT. If you're blind-buying, go for the EDT only. It's inferior to the others in terms of longevity, but on average, all of them last 4-8 hours.

I am a perfume noob. I had tried Burberry Hero edt from a friend and really liked it. That one was a summer fragrance and unrelated to this. I thought this would just be a higher concentration of that. But this is a completely different scent profile. So this was kinda blind buy for me. I don't know what's their logic behind naming two different scent profile same name. Actually bought it for summer but ended up wearing end of winter and during spring. This is very strong, as it should be for a Parfum Intense. Good projection for the first 3-4 hours and dry down lasts all day, I wore it for office during winter (matches well with formal attire) and it definitely turned some heads, but wouldn't really say a complement getter. Initially, the woody notes hits you in the face in a good way and a little bit of spice in the background. After dry down I mainly smell a lot of incense and a bit leathery. I kinda got bored after a month (also summer started) . Should have bought 50 ml bottle instead of 100 ml.

This stuff is pretty good. Very well blended with good performance. Modern, stylish, sophisticated, and alluring... perfect for an office professional on the go or a mature individual looking for a good everyday/nights out scent. Definitely sweeter and more bold compared to its EDT counterpart... a good pairing would be the EDT for the day and this for evenings. This scent has a pleasant amount of sweetness with warm woods, some spice and a touch of green. I get a smooth ambery sweetness with some pepper and slightly tart pine or cypress. Dries down slightly waxy, smokey and leathery. That’s basically it but for what it is it does the job well. It’s very nice. Some fragrances that come to mind for comparison off the top of my head would be Side Effect, Bleu de Chanel Parfum, Sauvage Elixir, 1 Million, Code Profumo, Noir Ambre and Ombre Leather

Very pepper forward. The leather is obviously very present. It is a great winter scent but personally I do not have a sport for it due to already owning Tom Ford Ombre Leather. If I were gifted this and did not have the Tom Ford, I would wear it and love it. I will assume that anything negative about this fragrance would be due to wearing it at the wrong, place, or at the wrong time. This is by no means a summer Freshe and should be warn accordingly. Its linear profile also lends itself well to layering.

I consider to have nice collection, i have almost everything i need, and i live in a country (argentina) where fragrances are very expensive and some of them are very difficult to get. This scents is one of my favourite of it. i found it really addictive. i dont agree with the similarities with some they mention like for example ombre leather edt and bad boy elixir. I fount it versatile, but i think it shines in colder months, specially at night. longevity and proyection - SOLID

Opens up with a strong scent of rubbing alcohol lingering but quickly dries down into a woody leather. A nice soft wood not like an oud. The leather feels like the interior leather seats on a brand new car or something not like a worn beat up leather so it's almost a little plasticy smelling if you sniff it up close. In the air it's a nice relaxed scent. Not a casual fragrance, requires you to dress up. Smells like a slightly smoky leather and wood on the drydown. 4/5

The scent is amazing, the longevity is excellent, and the projection is satisfying. However, after 3-4 hours, it turns into a smell similar to when you smoke a cigarette and the scent lingers on your hands, or like being in a room with an ashtray full of smoked cigarettes. Honestly, it bothered me, and I sprayed another perfume on top of it. The first 3-4 hours smell great, but afterward, it turns into something resembling cigarette smoke.
