Epic Journey Into the Bottled Yonder, 228 ------------------------------------------------------- Purchased May 2025 This week I noticed this has the same dry down, the far - hours later - dry down, as Bogart Pour Homme. There's many down thumbs to this above and that's simply wrong. The truth shall come into the light, as they say. FatLipWill below on 09/19/2023 said so, which confirms my finding that Burberry stole the BPH dry down not to mention this came two years after BPH. Deal with it. Have to say "yours truly loves BPH more than this one", it's more brash and manly but aren't all scents situational? Having said I love both, London can barely be oversprayed for me. It's maximum three sprays per location otherwise there's a cloying that lingers quite a while and I cannot stand cloying in anything. Freshies are the worst at this. See, for ME the entire scent has to be genius, from the top to the bottom and everybody nowadays focusses on the top and moves on. You guys are being fooled into the best tops with castrated bottoms. I've tested all your trendy and favourite stuff and it's become simply pedestrian. Do read on. The more I write my reviews, the more a certain inevitable truth regarding this entire industry and community reveals itself to me - and always by happen stance. It's the strangest thing, and to be Frank (where has he gone??) my reviews suffer for it. They've become ramblings innay. This wasn't going to be a full fledged review, but since I cannot get more out of Burberry London, since it's so basic, the review has written itself. It's a very nice and warm, wholesome scent. But as you probably have read, it's not what I'm particularly after. In fact I don't know what I'm after in scents. I'm constantly exploring, I'm looking for something and I don't know what it is. Though I long to seek something deep and rich like the old days. But I don't want a long lingering dry down of oakmoss that easily cloys like the old days. I sense my tastes changing. OK let's not be hard on ourselves, just the wallet ((WILL YOU PULL OUT THAT BLOODY VIOLIN) calm down John Cleese, you've never said that though a viola would suffice). They've destroyed all our old favourites to function/perform like anything new. Reformulations are done for a reason, they're not just to cut costs but to obviously keep up with the changing landscape of this unbelievably expensive enthusiast's hobby. They make them more user friendly and welcoming to the latest generation whose balls will never descend, whose chest hair will never see the light of day. The people who do not understand that society used to be amazing, brilliant and polite - much like Burberry. Now it's if you're rich you must be an arsehole and let it be known you're rich, ergo an arsehole. Seriously could use a violin now. But mates, I wish somebody had informed I needed this years ago - 8 or 9 years ago in particular. A man simply does not brag about Burberry London, though it's another tool in his shed. You must own it and if you don't know why you're missing something from your set of tools, it's the Burb. Ramble on. 8/10 P.S.: My bottle is the clear glass with the chromed cap, juice functioning as it should. I do not suffer performance issues as many say but I do believe it could be better for the money I paid for it. Shortly after, the same chain of chemists dropped the price by $30 only to recently raise the price back to what I paid for it... I've since destroyed my violin, how about a harp? So I did get the full bottle this is the update... I wore it from Christmas up until spring and I literally use the whole bottle I got a small I think 1.7 I was not able to find a vintage bottle SO.. in regards to those who say it was butchered or it’s so different or it doesn’t last or project?? I 100% DISAGREE!!!? you know could’ve been stronger yes but I have to say I bought a lot of Arabic blind buys that suck balls and their performance is abysmal or I bought Kayali all of em abysmal performance wise! THIS WAS NOT BAD AT ALL!!? so I am the original must be amazing but I was quite happy with my purchase I found that the stores were kind of overpriced for the new reform bottle so I went on Macquarie and got one pre-loved for like 25 bucks I am happy best perfume purchase of 2025!!! that saying a lot!! I’m still crying over alien infusion being discontinued for Christ sake! You know this is Christmas it’s a manly Englishman who shot down a Christmas tree for me and he’s putting an apple smoking a pipe and I’m making something with spices in the air oh God yes ha orgasmic if you’re a spice lover!! Wow...I’m so happy I finally tried this!! I got a travel size first and this will definitely be a FB! It’s perfectly unisex first of all, maybe leaning slightly masculine? But I’m in LOVE! It’s been a while since I’ve fallen in love! I’ve tried niche, designer Arabic for something new since my previous loves ( Dior poison, alien fusion and Paradox, ebony wood original, Bianca latte) are the tops in my favs list. I love spice!!!! And THIS? is amazing! It’s so well blended I can’t really smell tobacco or leather? I just sit there smelling Christmas and I’m ok with that! I don’t mind if I smell like a house during Christmas, I even love the touch of pine or fir that I’m getting ahhh I wish I currently had a man I would definitely share this!! A warm spicy sexy cozy scent for a super good price! I hope they don’t stop making this! The performance was not that bad as a lot of men said it worked very well on my skin!! I even sprayed it on before I would go for my nightly walk and the cold air it just smells so good!! Now?? If only I could get my hands on Burberry Brit Red!?? Life would be complete...

What an amazing fragrance!! Where to even start with this one? I have heard a lot of people saying it smells like Christmas, and I couldn't agree more. To me there are so many notes in this that lead to that kind of feeling, such as the tobbac, the lavender, and the cinnamon. It isn't listed, but I also get a very strong note of some sort of Christmasy tree as well, such as some kind of spiky tree or something, I can't really explain it properly. It smells to me like if you lived in a forest with all the Christmas trees around, without the fire going, but you have the simple lavender, tobbac, and cinnamon notes lingering while the windows are open, and it very lightly snows. If you are a middle-aged to older man who is light and fun while also a little serious, this can absolutely be your signature scent, it would work really well on you. I know of someone who has this as their signature, and I totally understand why. I would say it is fairly versatile; however, I would save it for the cooler seasons, especially those cozy winter months. That note of some sort of Christmas tree to me really adds a kind of toned down, grounding aspect that just makes it such a not watery but light fragrance, in smell and in wearability, that just makes it so nice, light, and airy to wear and smell on yourself, and others. Best Season: Winter, Price: Definitely more than worth it, very decent, Longevity and sillage: Lasts very long on my skin and projects far, and the atomiser is very generous for me, Bottle design: The bottle is quite nice, the signature Burbery tartan is a nice touch, and the cap is very heavy and is different to others, being a square, as well as clicking on smoothy, however the box feels very cheap, Overall: 8.9/10

I cant deny it, i looooove this stuff. Im pretty much a vintage snob, and when people talk about "modernizing" old school fragrances, this is THE apex in my opinion. I dont typically like sweetness, but this is perfectly sweet and it works amazing with the tobacco and cinnamon. This is very masculine, but not macho. Think of literally sitting in front of a fireplace with a girl on a winter night. shes snuggling up against you and youre both falling asleep with a smile on your faces. Thats the exact picture i get from this. There could certainly be a Christmas tree in the corner of the scene as well, and indeed even with all the fancy or rare stuff i own...i still wear London on christmas. So weve all heard the main drawback...performance sucks. Its not a lie, although i get better performance than alot of people are claiming, and thats with the newer formula too. But...for those who are saying "when this came out it was much stronger and long lasting"...you arent imagining things. In fact, even though this came out in 2006, for a couple of years there was REAL oakmoss in this. Not an oakmoss accord or a bunch of synthetic evernyl, but actual oakmoss extract. If you find boxes with evernia prunastri actually listed, then you have a bottle from the first few years and it will perform alot better. Even those arent "beastmode" but it projects better and longer than the new formulas, youll get a day out of it. In conclusion, this is one of my favorite fragrances on earth. Antoine Maisondeau created a masterpiece of modern perfumery in my opinion, and the fact that this is ~$30 is incredible to me.

Someone said this smells like guess seductive noir.... Absolutely NOT! 🙂↔️ I had a chuckle with that one girl!! no this is 100% man during Christmas chopping down the Christmas tree and bringing it home and putting it up while I’m burning a spicy woody candle and he’s smoking a pipe!! roar!! meow🦁 It’s all the smells of Christmas 🎄 hot *to gal below GSN?? Is basically Mon Guerlain but make it cheaper... lavender vanilla.. the lavender in this BL? Is more of a introducing partner brief appearance makes it pop and then the spices take over whereas in guess seductive noir, it’s initially lavender then I believe some Iris or Oris and it gets deeper and more velvety it’s just totally different vibe! I will agree? Both are sexy!! And they would go Great on a date night if the girls wearing that and the dude is wearing BL!? Niiice mix!! oh shoot now I need to layer that!!! 🏃♀️ I have them both and I don’t think I can wait till winter to try that! Ha cool I’m not making fun of the cute girl below who said than she seems very nice! 😊 but I had a little chuckle when she said that I’m like girl no you don’t smell that!? but maybe she does anyway Burberry London is amazing and it’s definitely a manly man a London manly man... scent do I wear it??? OH F YEA!!! Moreover, the culinary notes present in these perfumes served as the foundation for remarkable creations, such as Tom Ford's exquisite Tobacco Vanille from the Private Blend line. It is worth noting that due to its weight, intensity, and profound aroma, London for Men thrives best during the colder months, making it an exceptional choice for winter. This is my cheaper winter fragrance this year (more expensive one being Tom Ford Eau d'Ombre Leather) and I'm really satisfied with it. Opening is heavy of lavender and begamot, then the cinnamon joins in, this is where I think people get a 'shaving cream' type vibe, it's kind of similar to Quorum Silver, although Quorum is heavier on the woods and is a bit more versatile. But then, the leather, woods, and moss develop - it's very smooth, warm, attractive, and inviting. I get that it smells a bit too 'clean' for some people cause of that opening, but to me it just gives it a more mature feeling. It's not too overpowering or heavy- those notes lighten it a bit, and keeps it from becoming something like Spicebomb Extreme. Like, you don't smell like a Christmas candle, but you do smell clean and put together, but with that undercurrent of the spices from the cinnamon and tobacco to warm you up. This would go great with your classic twee-jacket professor outfit (presumably from burberry lol) That being said, 100% a cold weather scent, but suitable for basically any occasion within that. Silage is relatively strong, and it lasts for quite some time. IMO a safe blind-buy if you want something relatively cheap for cold-weather, It's a staple of any guy's winter collection. 8.6/10

I adore this scent and I went on a quest to find a vintage formula bottle to compare to the modern one as it’s one of my favourites. To start off the modern formulas are still great and cheap. But there is a considerable difference between vintage and new for this one. The old one is much much stronger in the tobacco and has a huge base note presence. It’s not as fresh , and the freshness picks up later in the drydown. On the new one the freshness starts up immediately and the scent has a lighter feel to it. It also does seem to last way longer as it’s much denser. That being said if you prefer freshness a new formula might be actually better for you. But it can feel flat but only in direct comparison. To be honest I am extremely pleased with the coty formula, although mine is the black cap , I heard they changed it again. The coty is about 90-95% the same and the variances are really only picked up if you are very familiar with the scent and have worn it for a while. Its considerable but not a massive difference, its kind of like adding MSG to food lol. Both are great but if you really like the essence and tobacco of London a vintage is the way to go. My bottles are 2007 inter Parfums and 2024 Coty.

I am extremely happy with this! Blind bought it on clearance for a great price at a local shop before a night out, only having read some reviews online and seen the notes. It smells phenomenal... IF this sort of pallate is what you're seeking. It has this very deep, masculine scent, filled with tobacco and darkness. Not overly smoky, not super spicy and peppery either. A very smooth and elegant trench of darkness coating your presence. As for performance, it opens with what felt to me like a strong sillage (3 sprays neck, 1 chest, 1 each wrist.) However after 30-60 minutes it died down to a more intimate projection, which I think is more suitable for this scent anyways. It's strong, it's potent, and I could totally see it getting too strong if overdone, so I like the smaller sillage honestly. The longevity is slightly above average for an EDT. I'm still catching base notes about 4 hours later, which is nice for a night out. Not crazy, but certainly not bad. Overall, great purchase. Especially if found on sale. If you want a very dark scent, well suited to nighttime and colder seasons, this is an excellent grab for budget buyers such as myself.

Yes! Already so many great reviews for this fragrance that are right on the money... Burberry London is Burberry's best, no doubt. The quality is so convincing, it smells niche quality - especially that gorgeous tobacco-cherry note. This doesn't just smell manly, this smells gentlemanly. It smells like trust, responsibility, promises kept and dreams fulfilled. Like a man that isn't on his way, he has already arrived. London doesn't scream, "come get me!", it speaks in a stern voice "I am here". A scent that doesn't aggressively reach for attention, instead this one swoons. Like the inside of an upper crust gentleman's club on a cool fall or winter evening - Italian brown leather couches, fine cigars, imported wood furniture, single malt scotch and success. That is what Burberry London smells like... a scent that seems to take the wearer places. It evokes thoughts and memories and awakens passions inside you more than almost any other fragrance I've ever smelled. In a nutshell, another reviewer, ecerusen, put it best when she said: Burberry London smells like it is a gift for being a man!

I think every man needs this, 30 plus for sure. To me, it's not just a Christmas scent. This is one I am wearing in this cooler weather and even to bed because of how warm and masculine it smells. My wife says I smell like a sexy ginger bread man which is hilarious, but those spices, wood and tobacco make it a great universally liked scent. There is nothing else in probably 100 plus scents I've sampled that smells like it. Now, it does not smell like Calvin klein obsession for men, but I feel that it is a similar wheelhouse of the setting the fragrance is aiming for. It's probably liked far more than obsession for men (which I love), but it's worthy of some love all through fall and winter. Cheap to buy at discounters, even at Ross or Burlington it is reasonably priced. Longevity is good for price and an EDT. Projection is good enough, it's not beast mode but you don't really care while wearing it bc it puts you in a good mood! Get it, just order it. ForeverLux I got a 100ml for $37.

Rating: 9.3/10 Burberry London is often called “the Christmas fragrance” and I totally understand why. But to me, it’s a bit more complex than that. Maybe it’s the name, maybe it’s the iconic Burberry plaid, but every time I wear it, I get this vivid image of London itself: a sophisticated gentleman walking through misty streets after a light rain, the scent of damp cobblestone and morning dew in the park. It’s atmospheric, classy, and timeless. I’ve never actually been to London, but if I had to imagine the smell of the city, this would be it. The blend of cinnamon, leather, tobacco leaf, and oakmoss paints a picture that’s both cozy and elegant. It’s warm and nostalgic, yet modern. This is the kind of scent that feels tailor-made for fall and winter. Perfect for cool evenings, holiday gatherings, or simply when you want something comforting and sophisticated. It had been on my wish list for quite a while, and I’m genuinely glad it’s finally part of my collection.

Nose Note #612 Compared to this CK Shock for Him is completely trash. If you compare them side by side they are very different + Shock smells very unnatural. This one is just good, the quality feels much better But the performance... Well, I find it disappointing. It is barely average. Sillage is not great at all. It performs about the same as DG The One both EDT and EDP. And the scent profile is kind of similar. It's not a light scent, but performance is still very mediocre. But I still like it so much that I'd say this can work at any season. It's not strong enough to choke you out in high heat. If you are expecting a tobacco scent I think I'll be disappointed. It's doesn't have real tobacco. Upd. after 5 months: Man, what a beautiful beautiful scent. Absolutely love it. Changing from 8.5 to 8.9. But the performance is so bad... 8.9/10, beautiful manly warm, cinnamon scent

Back in 2008 I was struggling a bit. My engagement had just ended, I had to move and my industry was laying people off. I didn’t have much but that Christmas I found a little bottle (maybe 50ml?) of London on sale for cheap and decided to treat myself. When I tell you I savored ever spray, saving it for weekends and special occasions. 14 years later and life is entirely different. Now I get to repurchase this bottle strictly for the sake of nostalgia and oh boy, it doesn’t disappoint one bit. This scent will always have a special place in my heart. Fragrance has the power to make us feel a little better. To make the world look kinder and more inviting. London is like an old friend, inviting me out for a drink or two. I can’t recommend it enough. 5 billion out of ten.

Nearly completed my second 100ml bottle of London. I’ve had London a long time. Can’t believe I haven’t provided my input on this superb fragrance. I wear it fall and winter in mild Mojave desert climate. So it’s a little cold but not bone Chilling cold where I live. Nearly a compliment almost every time I wear London. Product value is through the roof with this one. Spend a little and you have an alluring spice, cinnamon, fall and winter time fragrance that doesn’t cut corners on quality. Moderate projection. Think deep evocative joyful memories of fall and winter occasions embedded in this fragrance. Price=excellent. Scent= top shelf and original in contrast to say scents like stronger with you/azzaro wanted lines. I will always have London in my collection!

Warm, cozy, piney tobacco. Probably one of the best "bang for your buck" fall/winter/holiday season frags on the market. This is what I wear around Thanksgiving and Christmas time, this is the time of year where this frag shines. You might find that London is similar to something like Spicebomb, but London is more mellow, fresher, and not as spicy. The lavender here gives off barbershop vibes, which gives London a more mature edge to it. One thing London does fall short on however, as others have mentioned, is longevity. Off my skin, I get 3-4 hours total before i have to re-apply. To counter this, you won't kill anyone if you go a little heavy on the trigger. Overall, London gets an 8.5/10 from me, another great scent from the house of Burberry.

This has been my signature scent for years, and it’s one I keep coming back to. Your experience with it will depend heavily on both skin chemistry and season. While many describe it as “Christmas in a bottle,” that’s never been my reality. On my skin, the character shifts beautifully throughout the year: in spring it opens up as a fresh, spiced green – almost like cut grass layered with tobacco leaves. In the colder months, it leans more into tobacco and cinnamon, warm and comforting without ever becoming cloying. It’s also one of my most complimented fragrances, and at this point, it feels inseparable from my identity. For me, it’s a perfect 10/10 – in every season but summer.

Very nice and so wearable. This is an office-safe perfume - non-offensive. It feels like wearing a clothing that was marinated in cinnamon flower - in a very good way. It lasts for at least 3 hours on my wrist despite being in very dry country. But I noticed the scent persists for over 8 hours if sprayed under the collar. My wardrobe smells like I've stored-in some flowers inside. This scent performs well in hot summer (currently going through heatwave at 34c~39c as I write this review) - which means this would work much better in winter. So I'd say this frag will work on all seasons. Never fear blind-buying this one 👍

This one just screams fall, the kind that makes you reach for a long trench coat without even thinking. It is the scent that makes me want to greet another gentleman with a calm “good afternoon.” I picture myself reading the newspaper, sipping a cappuccino, while soft acoustic music plays in the background of a cozy cafe. Then I glance at my watch. It is already 5 p.m. Time to pick up my date. We are headed to a fancy Italian restaurant. As we finish our dinner, she leans in and says, “You smell good tonight.” I smile, thank her, and give my glass of Pinot Noir a little swirl. That is the kind of scent this is. 9/10

This fragrance revolves around a single chemical called Guaiyl Acetate which is an acetate of Guaiacwood, which is strange that Guaiacwood isn't listed in the notes. Its much warmer and cozier than Guaiacwood which is usually quite smoky and is sometimes compared to bacon. Guaiyl Acetate isn't used often in large amounts in other fragrances which makes this somewhat unique. Its supported by patchouli, and a few other things in trace amounts like lavender, coumarin and Verdox (the apple smell). It's a great unique smell, prefect for winter nights and occasions with friends and family.

My very first favorite fragrance! It’s where my passion for perfumes began! The first time I saw it on a store shelf, I grabbed it purely because of the name and the look of the bottle (that unusual fabric), since I’m a fan of anything English. But once I actually smelled it, I rushed straight to the checkout without a second thought! An incredibly rare case where form and content match perfectly. When I inhale this scent, I close my eyes and see a red berry - not currant, not cranberry, but some kind of wild northern wolfberry from the very heart of the Grimpen Mire...

I've only recently started my fragrance journey and I'm so happy to have found a hit so soon! It smells like going to Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner at your wealthy aunt's house, going to the study, and relaxing in a big, real leather chair that's been passed down through generations. I rarely like the initial notes when applying a fragrance, but this one just instantly sent me to another place altogether. I think it might be a little masculine for me, but if I can get my husband to start wearing it.... Let's just say he'll have trouble getting me leave him alone lol

The first fragrance my dad gave to me when I was in junior high school? Pretty crazy. But nonetheless, I absolutely love this fragrance. Very suitable for a signature scent, a unique but still a appealing masculine scent. I wish some middle eastern brand duped this so my student budget could afford it haha🥲 But nonetheless, I will be buying this again once I save up the money for it. Though it smells a bit different when I smelled a new one at my local department store but I guess that'a because my dads one had been macerating for a loooonngggg time😂

I had it once, sold it for some reason, regretted it, now I got it as a present. It's really good. I get mainly tobacco with soft spiciness -- it's not exactly a photorealistic tobacco leaf, and it's not in-your-face cinnamon, but everything is balanced. There is a sweet coumarin note in the mix, which could be tonka bean, but it could also be lavender. And I get an association with grass or hay -- the most distinctive aspect for me. I don't get much leather, but the basenotes are grounded, so there might be a polite leather accord.

This is one of my favorite smells of all times. It's masculine but very comforting. Even a bit nostalgic, but also makes me happy. I would love to smell this on my husband, but I finally got it for myself since he doesn't really care for perfumes and says he prefers more aquatic/fresh profiles... I will still make him wear it just so I can enjoy it on him occasionally lol. Plus, I think it goes well with the women's version if you're wearing it as a couple... I tested each in one arm when I first got samples.

I love this - on my husband. Every now and then I'll spray it on myself, hoping for it to smell as good on me, but it never does. On me it stays quite sharp and doesn't mellow into those deeper warm tones. To me it's kind of similar to Guess Seductive Noir, which gives me the same warm deep spices smell, so I wear that instead when I want to matchy match my husband. We discovered London together and it's now his signature scent, and his last name is London, so it just feels right!

10/10 An absolute gem. They honestly could have named this Burberry Christmas for Men. From the first spray, you’re met with a warm blend of tobacco and cinnamon, wrapped in pine needles, touched with a hint of leather, and balanced by the faintest, most elegant sweetness. I blind bought this while searching for the perfect tobacco-spice winter fragrance—and this is it. Rich, cozy, festive, and effortlessly classy. Not to mention the price is AMAZING for this kind of quality.

This is one of my favorite colognes of all time! I absolutely love the smell of this stuff especially in the fall and winter. It has this weird ability to warm you up on a cold day/night. It's magical. It's not a crowd pleaser by any means but I honestly could care less because I love the smell of it! It's a sweet tobacco with cinnamon and leather notes and a beautiful woody drydown. It's a must try for the holiday season. This is Christmas in a bottle. Love it!

Alright, I do get the cherry cough syrup too in the opening. However this is the weakest cologne Ever made. It is water. Here's the lifespan of Burberry London, regardless of sprays, opening: 20 seconds of cherry syrupy medicine, a hint of wood, maybe some hemlock. Immediately settles down to base notes of hemlock and pine boughs and sap for about 30 more seconds. And that's it. It's gone. No one will ever smell this on you. I am glad I got it for a discount.

Beautiful fragrance, smells very high quality in my opinion. Actual respectable perfumery for a very cheap price. The notes may look challenging on paper, but the actual scent is very inoffensive, cozy and likeable. This is definitely a go-to christmas fragrance (though absolutely wearable through the entire fall and winter). Projection and longevity are not great, but for this price you can afford to compensate that by spraying more. 8/10.

used this in my sophomore year of high school and used it upppp now I'm a sophomore in college and ran into it at marshals for $30-1.6floz, and the bottle is different now it's clear. The last one I had looked like the picture and was a dark brown you couldn't really see through, but the scent is exactly as I remember a dark tobacco cinnamon, perfect balance, if it had a good splash of vanilla, I could compare it to herod but lower quality

I love this scent, the opening is great the flower-citrus mixes surprisinlgy well with the other notes, that was one of my concerns but they aced it! It ages into a super soothing tabacco oriental mix great price. As for complaints the silliage is weak it lasts a good while but i wouldnt reccomend it as a daily or date fragrance though it can work for dates there is better options,overall great price good winter/fall frgarance.

For someone who likes, Polo Green, Zadik and Voltaire This is Him, Bentley Intense, drakkar Noir, Givenchy Gentleman Reserve Privee...... finding this one will make you smile. It will not be a redundant addition. Has as much individual personality as all of the above. Ignore the animalic note suggested in the note breakdown. I hate any hint of animalic after being traumatised by testing Kouros on my hand. Its not there.

This smells like home to me. Picture a cold winter day, the sky is grey, rain lightly taps the window. You're under a blanket with your significant other, watching a rom-com on the TV, Sipping on hot chocolate. This is what this fragrance springs to my mind. I love it. I don't use it for outside the house as it's performance isn't the best, but as long as I get a whiff of it every now and then - I'm good.

This is easily one of if not the best winter scents ever, if it lasted more than 3 hours:( I have owned this scent for almost 2 years and nothing comes close to it when it comes to the perfect festive smell. I hope a release of a higher concentration, longer lasting version of this scent is released. Until then I will gladly reapply throughout the day all through the cold months

If autumn had to choose a fragrance, it would be Burberry London for men. It is warm, cozy, sweet and slightly melancholic. The tobacco welcomes you followed by the sweetness of the cinnamon, all grounded by a nice leather. However, it doesn't last long. Sillage is average and your best bet is to spray your clothes. If the longevity was better, it would make a 10/10 fragrance.

The new formulation (Made in Spain) smells smoother than the older formulation (Made in France). Now the tobacco note is toned down and the scent overall is less woody. You get more of the sweetness and cinnamon coming forward, which to me is the best part of the scent. This change to the formula makes it feel more modern, wearable and more pleasant to my nose.

I pulled this out of the back of my fragrance collection today. I've owned London for several years now and have since primarily worn it in the autumn/winter seasons. Each time I wear this amazing scent, I think of how sad that it fades away so quickly. Beautiful tobacco and spices ( I get a Pine Needles vibe as well ) that just scream a masculine fellow.

This is one of my all time favorites and my favorite of the Burberry for guys. I LOVE fall and this perfectly encapsulates the fall vibes. It's warm, gentle, and spicy. It smells like sipping warm chai tea, on a chilly day, by a warm fire, in an oversized sweater, with a great book. This is a scent that makes ME feel sexy in a subtle bookworm kind of way.

Smells like Christmas morning, woody pine needles from the Christmas tree, with a smokiness from the fireplace. The smell you'd imagine in a Christmas cabin in Alaska. Unfortunately, I am from the south. But I still enjoy this lol, great fragrance but for me it is a little bit of a hard wear. Performs a bit above average for a designer fragrance.

I see many comments about crap performance. To my nose it's fine. I can still smell it after a working day and I don't think I have superpowers. If not in all the cases below, in some of them at least I'm suspecting olfactory fatigue. It has moderate to above moderate performance, depending on the spraying routine. Definitely not below moderate.

This is a fall time masterpiece. The smell conjures up images of falling leaves, trench coats and scarves and all kinds of other cheesy fall cliches that you could possibly imagine and it is amazing. Definitely a 10/10 for me. I am not a fan of almost any other Burberry fragrance but this one here is special and its super cheap.

I dunno about current batches. But, I’ve got two bottles from 2018 & 2019 and they both last well over 8 hours. At no point is it projecting strong. But it does last and it does smell like a gentleman. It does bring nostalgia, since it was my signature scent in my 20’s, but I don’t get the Xmas vibe

What did they do to my baby ! My old bottle has run out couple weeks earlier and I bought a new one. I'm shocked. This smells different, projects less and the juice lasts so little. One needs 10+ sprays to notice the scent. What is wrong with you people ? I didn't expect this from Burberry.

Great Fragrance. Really enjoy Smelling and Wearing this. Spicy, Woody and Boozy. I find the longevity is fine on my skin, over 8 hours. Highly Recommended for going for a Dinner Date, Night Out at the Pub etc. Have worn to the Office on occasion, dialing back the amount of Sprays.

This fragrance is so good! Masculine tobacco with cinnamon but with a nice sweetness to it. Smells like you are walking through early 1920’s London during Christmas time. Very nostalgic scent and absolutely my go to for the holiday times. Subtle but very addictive

This scent only gets worn in December and is the evocation of Christmas, with warm spicy cinnamon & tobacco. It reminds me of being sat in a dark oak London pub drinking stout or by the hearth in my favourite medieval hotel up in Lancashire beside the tree!

I know the sub types mean more to the more advanced frag heads but this is not what I would call oriental nor spicy. This is a burst of fresh pine with a hint of wood that is nice and not long lasting. Refreshing and brief fragrance.
