You breathe vanilla, sweat vanilla, think vanilla, move vanilla. VANILLA LOVE. The price is well worth it, and the intensity and volume of this is insane. Precious liquid gold , no need to waste it, it's a powerhouse. Amazing really, never too sweet, never cloying, just pure, white. This is what the fresh brown sticky pod used in patisserie smells like, when you cut it with a long incision on its lenght and scrape delicately its inside gooey balm with a spoon. this is it ! I use it to layer many other fragrances, when i need depth. On her own is probably a pure love potion. ( especially if you are naked after a shower ) . It is not a perfume, IT'S A MAGNIFYING ESSENCE , a potion ! To be used as such ! I have never had a more amazing frame to use with any other perfume made in history, that does not cover such fragrance, but yet hugs it in a warm embrace elevating it. That's the magic of this.

Very pricey, but i’d say worth it. This is definitely a perfect straight vanilla fragrance, it does however have a slight spice to it, like cinnamon but without smelling like cinnamon. I’m not entirely sure if that makes sense but I do love it, I wish it was slightly longer lasting as when I spray it with other perfumes they seem to over power it, that is until that scent fades away then the bvlgari continues to stick to me.

I fell for a reviewer's description of this as the best vanilla she had EVER smelled & had always been searching for...well it's vanilla but not the best for me. Almost a baking vanilla. The cost is too high for that. Longevity is lacking. I can only wear it layered. They need to make this line more affordable especially for what this is & is NOT. Sample first. 🤨

This is a beautiful pure vanilla scent. It's just vanilla, nothing else. It's a creamy, lactonic, vanilla, perfect for gourmand lovers and non-gourmand lovers. It's absolutely beautiful!! So delicious, and not too overpowering at all. You have to get close to smell it.

A lovely vanilla but for 200 bucks you'd have to be crazy. Maybe at around 80 I'd consider.

Light, airy marshmallow fluff! Bought a sample because I heard it smelled like vanilla extract, but I'm not really getting that. Instead, Magnifying Vanilla is a sweet and powdery marshmallow - just like smelling the inside of a bag of marshmallows. Really reminds me of Kyse Delizia di Marshmallow, but without the plastic note. With Kyse, you smell the marshmallows and the plastic bag that they come in, so I much prefer Magnifying Vanilla because it doesn't have the plastic-y smell. Projection is shameful though, nearly non-existent and wears veeery close to the skin. Not worth the price because I can barely smell it. Overall, Magnifying Vanilla is cozy and yummy, slightly gourmand powdery marshmallow scent, but really poor performance.

As the name said it, Vanilla Essence. Nothing else that matters. I expected the longevity to be better for this price, however. (The scent is strong enough to be smelled only for an hour or two then it slowly becomes skin scent which lasts about 12 hrs) Alas. Still a lovely soft vanilla scent it is. Great for layering, as is my purpose for the purchase.

Smells like a vanilla extract. Linear. Also sits close to the skin. It's best for layering with other fragrances versus wearing own its own due to the performance. The bottle is pretty, the price is not. lol.

I blind bought this and I do like it, it's not a love though and I would not repurchase when finished. There are way better vanilla's out there that are way cheaper. It does smell like vanilla frosting.

straight up vanilla! lasted for me around 7 hours, milky by the end of the day. Smells like vanilla bean then blends down to a vanilla type frosting as the day goes on

Magnifying Vanilla is a fluffy, creamy vanilla scent. It is sweet but only in the way that vanilla has a sweet character. There is no “added” sugar sweetness, no marshmallow, no praline, and no apricot. In that respect it is pretty amazing. It is expensive, but as far as I can tell there are no other stand-alone vanillas without added notes that will work for layering like MV probably does. It is different from VS Bare Vanilla, and is not a woody or spicy kind of vanilla either. It does not smell much like the Zara vanillas, but it does have the same kind of artificial vanilla character. I tried to compare to Kayali Vanilla 28, but V28 is sweet enough that it did not seem like a fair comparison. MV does not turn into a doll head scent (which I actually like) but it brings to mind play doh or modeling clay. (Magnifying Vanilla is somewhat similar to the vanilla in the dry down of the new LVEB Vanille Nude. I tested them a day apart and was surprised. LVEB has a lot more going on, so it is not really a fair comparison, though.) I wanted to like this because it was just what I was looking for. Unfortunately, I wanted something to layer with spicy fragrances and this is not it. Six hour test on fabric and it could easily have gone longer. The small amount I got on my hand disappeared after about two hours, but it was far from a full spray and I washed my hands at least once. Edit: I did not mention that MV is not of the same caliber of vanilla found in Guerlain, Dior, YSL, or even Tom Ford. It’s just not. There is no way this is vanilla CO2, but it could be partially vanilla absolute combined ethylvanillin. I am being generous. There are definitely better ethylvanillins out there but they are usually very sugary. Based on the unexpected similarity to LVEB Vanille Nude dry down, I suspect that there is a relatively new fixative aromachemical used in both. I liked it but I have no idea what it is.

Very simple linear vanilla, nothing you haven’t smelled before. What is the most disappointing is the poor projection and longevity. I understand it is for layering, but at this price I still expected decent performance. Got it on sale with deep discount just for the bottle, the juice is really not worth it!

Similar to Maison Tahite Vanilla2 which I already own. It is nice, just way overpriced for what it is. Bought it heavily discounted, less than half price, and even at that I’m not sure it was worth it considering the abundance of alternatives and its poor performance.

Oversimplified vanilla. Not gourmand, not cupcake, more powdery and just slightly 'edible'. Honestly not worth the money. As said, for 40 ml, maximum should be 80-90 Euro. in my view the best amplifiers are Bergamot and Sandalwood.

wow this is so interesting. On me all I can smell is kind of like a dusty cinnamon stick. It is all spice on me. What bugs me is that it does not smell like vanilla extract to my nose at all, I have vanilla extract in the kitchen and it smells nothing like it. absolutely no projection or longevity whatsoever. It is not worth the money even if it is on sale. Clove! that's it, it smells like clove. (which I do not like)

This one is just horrible there is no smell whatsoever, would rather get vanilla perfumes from drugstore that smell great and cost $10

How inspiring positive reviews are 🥹 I’m waiting for my bottle, which I bought blindly, without trying it beforehand. I really hope the fragrance turns out to be pleasant, easy to understand, and very suitable for everyday wear 🤞🏻 I’ll update my review once I receive the bottle. In the opening, I perceive a sweet ice-cream-like vanilla 🍦 very soft, slightly creamy and cozy. The scent feels delicate and rounded, without any excessive sweetness. As it develops on my skin, the vanilla gradually changes its tone. It begins to feel as if sandalwood has been added to the composition, the fragrance becomes a bit more woody, with a light powdery facet, a soft balsamic nuance, and even a subtle skin-like warmth. At the same time, the fragrance does not lose its harmony, it remains just as beautiful and comforting as it was at the very beginning of its development. For me, it’s a wonderful everyday option, soft, unobtrusive, and very easy to wear. The projection is moderate; the scent can be perceived roughly at arm’s length. I’ll add more about the longevity later, once I’ve worn it through the evening 🔜 I applied the perfume around 1 PM, and by 11 PM the scent is still clearly noticeable on my skin.

Looking for Similar Scents to Allegra Magnifying Vanilla I absolutely adore Allegra Magnifying Vanilla — it's the perfect, pure vanilla fragrance for me. What I love about it is that it’s not overly sweet or cloying, and it lasts really well on my skin. There's something about it that gives me a "greener" or more natural vanilla vibe, which I can't seem to find in other vanilla-centric fragrances. I only have a sample at the moment, and while I would love to buy a full bottle, I’m hesitant because of the $200 price tag. So, I’m wondering if anyone knows of any similar fragrances that feature a just vanilla scent, with that same grounded, not-too-sweet vibe. Ideally, something that lasts well but doesn't break the bank! Please let me know if you have any recommendations — I’d really appreciate it!

At first it's like a liquer then it softens down into dry woody vanilla, not sugary, not gourmand, it stays away from pudding territory. I got it half price on Ebay, not sure I'd want it full price, even with it's cute little dustbag with cupid on it. Definitely reminds me of some sort of alcoholic drink but idk what.. I would LOVE to see minis of all the Allegras. The entire coloured range, all the magnifiers, packaged like a box of bonbons or chocolates. That would induce me to pay retail, and many others I suspect. The available Allegra box set is boring little cylinders.

I feel like I missed so many years of learning about this house! To the girl down below and re poor projection? I believe Emma said that it’s more of a perfume to layer over other vanillas? I was happy to find a sample of this, and so glad I didn't blind buy a FB! I realize that Vanilla Essence is for layering, but this is really not elegant or a scent I expected from Bvlgari. It smells like CANNED VANILLA FROSTING, not VANILLA EXTRACT- IMO ... So I guess if you're looking for that, this is a luxury product of that classic icing scent, priced accordingly. I personally prefer more creamy vanilla bean scents versus edible vanilla gourmands. Definitely try this one before splurging!!

Look, I'm fine with simplicity, fine with a single note, fine with it meant to be layered... But what ISN'T fine is charging that price for what they are claiming to be an extrait de parfum and BARELY being able to detect it on my skin even after spraying the same spot 3 times.... Ok ok I can DETECT it but barely... I can SEE how oily it is on the skin and with that visual, I'm stunned that I can't smell it more.... I'll try it a few more times but... So far it's a fail for me.

I've been hunting for years for a simple vanilla perfume and this sounded promising, but it's not it. To me it's a thick vanilla bean frosting but it has something stinky and somehow almost animalic to it, I hate to say anything bad usually but it kinda smells like old spit to me plus a nice vanilla bean. Would have been perfect without that

This is a, drum roll please, plain vanilla and that’s that. Smells like vanilla extract but literally, therefore sweet and fluffy, but also slightly alcoholic and sharp, like putting your nose close to the vanilla extract bottle and sniffing. It smells like being a kid and tasting the vanilla extract thinking it’ll taste like vanilla.

At first spray it's pure vanilla essence, then it starts to smell like like cake icing, then it dries down to a very powdery soapy fluffy vanilla. It is designed for layering and I've been trying it with some of my more hard to wear woody scents and I'm liking it! Brings sweetness where some scents lack it.

photorealistic vanilla bean did have a brief incense note which i didn't love, but eventually faded and got sweeter, but in a pleasant way. not cloying. sticks close to the skin, longevity is good though linear, as expected i enjoyed wearing this, it smells delicious, but don't think i would buy it

Oh this is soo nice! this is the most comforting vanilla scent I have tried in a long time. It feels creamy, like the most beautiful full cream vanilla bean gelato. I need full bottles of this, it is expensive but worthy. So perfect!

Yes, this is a molecule type vanilla. It comes and goes. I get a sweet, vanilla cupcake frosting with this. Definitely a good choice for layering.

Smells exactly like olive brine on my skin. Kind of delicious but not what I was going for...
