Jasmin Noir

A beautiful aroma. Classy. Elegant, sophisticated, sweet but in the grown up kind of sweet way. Love the black onyx bottle. At the first spray, you detect something sweet, tart and sweet, the licorice. Then the nutty almond and vanilla. The licorice, almond and vanilla give it a gourmand feel but this fragrance is more of a floral woodsy musk and not a gourmand by any means. The licorice persists and keeps this sweet and feminine. The jasmine shines through in the heart and also lingers. I don't detect the gardenia. This is not a white floral bomb as you might imagine with a 2 note pair of gardenia and jasmine. On me it's just jasmine with other stuff. The scent is soft and not throwing out a lot of sillage unless you over spray. It's dark and musky, spicy, slightly green like being in a green forest having a candlelit dinner with your man. Night blooming jasmine bushes all around. The dry down is musk and patchouli. A warm and cozy musk. The precious woods are dark woods and not distinct or specific i.e. oak wood sandalwood it's just some vague woods like looking at a hazy scene in winter of dark pine trees. I'm picking up on a leather note too. Like the inside of an expensive designer handbag made of leather. Black leather. The musky leather scent is so beautiful and smooth, making the dry down one of the best parts of the scent, as it mixes and mingles with the green notes and patchouli. There is definite patchouli but it's not a big player as compared to the musk at the dry down and as it fades away. If you like fragrances like Mugler's Alien this is a little bit like that but less powerful. Also reminds me of Crystal Noir by Versace. If you have experienced and enjoyed Alien and Crystal Noir then you'll surely love Jasmin Noir. It's warm and spicy, jasmine-floral, nuanced with gourmand edges of almond, licorice and a dark vanilla or tonka bean. This lasts over 4 hours but not all day. Great for fall and winter and to wear with dressy dressed up formal wear. You know for like a fancy dinner date. There is also an intellectual and melancholy brunette vibe. This is not for some teen age or early 20's girl who goes night clubbing and has over 5 thousand friends on her social media following her. She doesn't depend on that and defines herself by being herself and not caring about trends and popularity. Jasmine noir is deep and mature with a kind of independent woman successful but brainy and aloof hard to get to know her kind of scent. It's complex and has a lot going on. If you like leather, jasmine, and vanilla you'll definitely love it. Enchanting fragrance.

Oh, what a pretty and sophisticated perfume! I know that a lot of people consider this to be a "nighttime" fragrance, but I honestly think this can totally be worn during the day if you use a light hand. If I had to describe this fragrance, it would be a "warm white floral." The notes that stand out the most for me are definitely the jasmine, gardenia, and almond. Jasmine is one of my favorite floral notes in a perfume and I think it smells very fresh and beautiful here. The gardenia adds a little touch of sweetness to the jasmine, and the almond adds a nutty quality to it. On my skin, the other stand out notes are the licorice, tonka bean, and musk. The licorice adds a certain subtle spice to it that is reminiscent of root beer to my nose, and the tonka bean is used great here to prevent the sweeter notes from becoming too sweet (instead, the tonka bean makes the sweet notes smoother and creamier instead of just sugary). The musk adds a clean and powdery vibe to the perfume, to the point where I think it actually "lightens up" the fragrance, which is why I can see this being pulled off during the daytime. Also, because of the levity that the musk brings, I honestly would wear this during the Spring and Summertime at night as well. Personally, I don't think that the green notes and the patchouli really stand out so much, because I don't think it smells "earthy" at all. The florals definitely overpower anything "green" I might be smelling on my skin, I think. I would say that this perfume is basically the lighter version of Dior's Hypnotic Poison in the sense that I can see people saying that there's a slight "Play Doh" or "Root Beer" vibe to this perfume. I think that if you enjoy Hypnotic Poison, then Jasmin Noir is definitely worth checking out if you want a lighter option. My only "downside" to this perfume is the longevity. It doesn't last very long on my skin ... But that's something I'm willing to deal with because I love the scent so much. I also think that makes this perfume the very opposite of cloying, which is a very good thing for a lot of people (like myself). Overall, I love this perfume. I feel very "put together" when wearing this. I think it's professional enough to wear in a work environment (if you use a light hand, of course), I think it's pretty enough to wear out, and I think it's sexy enough to wear on a date night. I see this being a "signature perfume" for a lot of women, honestly!

I remember reading a review about this one probably a decade ago that said something like: "It's so melancholic that I could just sit down and cry." Couldn't agree more. Now, me, being weird as I am, I find melancholic perfumes (and rainy weather!) uplifting. So I have been savoring my bottle of this discontinued beauty like the ultimate treasure. I only wear it in very special fall/winter nights and when I put it on, I know that a memory is about to be made. To my nose, the green notes in the opening live only for a couple of whiffs. After that it's all about this perpetual dance of jasmine and almond notes. Sounds simple, but smells surprisingly complex. Almond notes here are not what you'd expect - think marzipan paste, but sweetened with licorice instead of sugar. What I find most impressive about this fragrance: I am not a fan of any of these notes individually, yet this is my favorite perfume. There's something in a way this is blended... it's pure art. It captures this beautiful, elegant darkness that reminds me of Baudelaire's verses. I know that the campaign for Jasmin Noir revolved heavily around Bvlgari's jewelry (images of which are also being evoked in the bottle's stopper) and buzzwords such as "luxury" and "expensive" were thrown around. This is doing great injustice to the bottle's content, IMHO. It's not about whether or not this is a high-quality perfume (because it indisputably is), it's that Benaim and Labbe created something that transcends earthly categories of "expensive" or "luxurious". As for the description of the woman who wears it, Baudelaire's quote comes to mind once again: "There are women who inspire you with the desire to conquer them and to take your pleasure of them; but this one fills you only with the desire to die slowly beneath her gaze.". Even though I think it's exquisite, I know that this perfume is not for everyone and the ratings (3.77 at the time of writing) reflect that. But if you're a goth-leaning, Baudelaire-loving pluviophile and you see a bottle of this fragrance somewhere, just buy it. You'll see it's made for people like you. It's not just a perfume - it's an experience.

For me, this fragance is a beautiful woman from the fabulous Far-East. She's reserved and polite, almost shy, but some air of mistery lingers around her. She's never harsh or provocative, but her eyes speak about passion. Her snow-white skin treasures the memory of sultry, heady nights. She smiles, but your intuition whispers that she hides a dagger in her clothes. Is she a virtuous wife, or a courtesan, an independent woman or an obedient slave, a virgin or a sex-godess? You cannot make up your mind... Yes, Jasmin noir is incredibly unique. It cannot happen by accident that while there are so many reviews, there's only one single person who has found a fragance thought to be similar. (J'aime la Nuit) I don't know this creation of La perla, so I cannot judge it. The label "erotic" or "sexy" is often misused and abused. Manufacturers think that it's a fascination consumers are not able to resist, when a fragance is thought to be sexy. But I think Jasmin noir is not intended to be passionate or sensual or sexy. Maybe that is the reason of it is so much! It's effortlessly feminine. When I want to wear a sensual fragance, I reach for this. Almond, tonca and woods make a sweet, compact base, which suggests confidence, warmth and emotional stability. From this solid base, the jasmin rambles away whimsically: sometimes 5 meters far, sometimes only 10 cms. This jasmin is absolutely beautiful. It needs skin to bloom: on paper Jasmin noir stays something sweet and pleasant, but not shockingly beautiful. As the name suggests, jasmin is the main theme: it makes the composition vivid and decadent, sensitive and fragile.

If I'm being honest, I have a hard time understanding how this one gets any amount of dislike! This is my first perfume I ever bought for myself and it is still such a beauty. I’ve already written a review more years ago than I thought but I will say I hope they never reformulate this (did they?)! I've had this perfume for over ten years now since when it first came out and recently just bought my second bottle; eagerly awaiting it in the mail. I'm not out of the old bottle quite yet but being low on it, I knew I had to grab another so I'm not out. This one is definitely a “lifer” for me. Always sensual, warming, elegant - it just envelopes me so gorgeously. The sillage is a little blast of heaven that lingers on and on! This one is like nothing else I own. I feel bad for the people getting strong indolic notes! This is all warm, nutty, soft musky, sambac jasmine on me. It's glorious. Big love! Edit: I didn't initially get the licorice comparisons until I realized my mind was going to candy licorice (we always had the red ones when we were little, not the black) and not ANISE HYSSOP which also known as licorice mint. This is a jasmine/anisic bomb and it is perfect to me! If you know any others with this almond/anisic/floral combination, please feel free to DM. Edit: Researched and found that Dior Hypnotic Poison EDP current formulation has a strong licorice note. Ooh la la!

At home, at the foot of the entrance to my house, I have a massive shrub of wild Jasmines growing. About 3 feet away from the Jasmine shrub I have a vine of Gardenia! At night when I step out, these flowers engulf me in a cloud of it's sweet smell. One day I was bored out of my mind at work and I put on this fragrance. I sniffed it and melted. (I always do, this is by and large one of my favourite perfumes!) Hours passed by and I had gotten into the full swing of work and completely forgotten that I even put this fragrance on. I closed my eyes for a moment and brought my hand up to cover my mouth to let out a tiresome yawn. GOSH! I suddenly transported right back to those stairs at home at night! I was wondering what just happened.. I could truly smell the entrance of my family home. Jasmines and Gardenia.. I was thoroughly confused and began to look around and then I saw my bottle of Jasmin Noir sitting pretty on my desk. I was truly astounded. This is the most realistic Jasmine and Gardenia smell I've ever encountered! Alien Schmalien.. this is your truest Jasmine!! I work about 100 meters from the biggest fragrance chains in Sri Lanka so right after work I went and bought a bigger bottle of this as I NEVER wanna be out of this juice. This perfume is evidently a tricky one! For some (myself included) this is one that lasts days on clothes and on skin at least for 7 hours (without moisturiser, with it it lasts about 9-10 hours). For some the licorice is bitter and earthy, for others (including me) it’s more sweet almonds and Jasmine with amber at the base! I think this is a phenomenal fragrance! One that is unlike many other jasmines out there. It’s amazing ! When I owned a bottle of Maison Margiela Jazz Club, I wore a three sprays of this mixed with six of jazz club as the base. I used to fill in a room! At a wedding a groomsmen (who was a complete stranger to me) came running in my direction and stopped by the guy right next to me and said “Bro is that your Cologne?!!” And he responded “I know why you’re asking, it’s not me. It’s this lady here and I haven’t been able to move away from her coz she smells so good”. I died a little bit out of embarrassment coz I don’t take compliments well. I miss when fragrances used to perform without being shy or holding back. Now it feels like everything is sweet, fruity with a hefty dose of tooth achingly sweet vanilla. :( Ps. Try to find this version. The splendida version is no good.

First impression was not good. However, I felt drawn to keep trying the decant, and after a couple tries actually purchased a scarily overpriced 0.5 oz bottle. Yet a couple more tries later, I shelled out for the full sized bottle. Jasmin Noir is such a fitting name for this perfume, because it is very much like the color black: intense but not flashy. It's sexy, but not in a stereotypical designer fragrance way. It has a dark, enigmatic vibe which makes the overall impression not exactly "outgoing" - most other sexy fragrances are exactly that. This has a quieter connotation (not to be mistaken with "gentler" - it is not). I find it somehow comforting as well. I failed to appreciate the almond note at first, but that's where the magic lies. It's also what Splendida lacks. I wish they'd return to the original formulation, because while the jasmine has the same DNA in both of them, the backbone of almond and licorice is what really makes the fragrance. Without it, it's just dark jasmine. The lasting power isn't that great in either of them, but SJN is downright horrible and this is at least decent (~2 hr).

Oooooo..... a good, old quality! The scent has been obviously created before the era of clones with cloying sweetness. Geat projection and silage, but not in a beast mode. Still, You can smell this on your hair or clothes for days. I get: Jasmin, almond, patchouli, licorice and amber are the most prominent notes in my opinion. It is dark. It is sensual. Some animalic vibe lingers for hours. Also I get a hint of bitterness... Very elegant and sophisticated. Smells expensive. A grown up scent. Definitely a night and winter perfume. It has a character and depth which is captivating. Perfect for a gala or late night event. I see: Little black dress or long black dress (backless 😉), stilletoes plus diamonds. In my mind it projects the image of super model Jasmine Gauri in her 90ties catwalk. Men notice this scent and like it. I always get compliments when wearing Jasmine Noir. Try it before buying though. It is not a safe blind buy by any means. I can imagine that some people may get headache from this beauty 😎

I seem to like fragrances named 'black' or 'noir/e'. My small fragrance collection contains Noir Epices, Coco Noir, Vanille Noire, Black Afgano and Back to Black, and I've just added to them one Jasmin Noir. I have to say that none of these are truly 'black' or 'dark' to me, but I like them nevertheless. Bvlgari Jasmin Noir is a spectacularly misnamed fragrance - it's not dark at all, and the jasmine is certainly not its dominant note. Truth be told, this is an absolutely beautiful scent - sooo delicious, creamy and velvety - but the jasmine is overpowered by gardenia and a sweet almond/marzipan paired with tonka. This is actually a good thing, because lots of people don't like strong jasmine (they find it quite stinky) and I receive complaints whenever I dare to wear Lush Lust, Nasomatto Nuda, Carthusia Gelsomini di Capri and such. No complaints with Jasmin Noir though - it's a very subtle and smooth interpretation of jasmine, thus it is unlikely to offend anyone.

at my aunties house for thanksgiving and she gave me a perfume tour of her humongous collection . she has mon jasmin which i really wanted but she said i could have this one because its simpler and doesnt last much (she was also shocked at how much it goes for now) . and shes right lol . but im really fond of it im getting a slight leathery accord coasting alongside the gardenia+tonka combo . slightly indolic but the almond halts it from going overboard . this is more gardenia to my nose than jasmine . ill probably just keep this as display and spritz on my hand every other month . ill have to compare to splendida version since this bottles already low-ish . i kinda wish there was a stronger note like birch styrax or chocolate to really set it off . edit: looking at the comparisons, this is a tad bit similar to M mariah carey, though that one has more patchouli and tiare . very similar vibe though

Очень люблю. Этот аромат у меня ассоциируется с грустью, слово "noir" в названии абсолютно оправдано! Аромат скорее женственный, но холодный. Возможно чуть строговатый, но скорее задумчивый, спокойный, с чувством собственного достоинства. Я чувствую больше всего дерево в сочетании с небольшим количеством зеленых нот, плюс по чуть-чуть жасмин, бобы тонка и пачули. Ноты хорошо слиты в один голос, вычленить ноты можно только если целенаправленно вслушиваться и смотреть на пирамиду. Надеваю их, когда у меня нуарное настроение, когда не хочется веселиться, а хочется уйти в себя, поразмышлять, отгородиться от всего мира. Вобщем, 100% аромат интровертов! Важно: эти духи НЕ ПОГРУЖАЮТ в грусть, а просто составляют фон, гармонирующий с тобой. Дают тебе побыть собой, не споря с настроением и не принуждая тебя быть кем-то другим (а-ля весельчаком) в моменте.

So, like most Bvlgari this is sophisticated and perfume-y. Which at this stage of my perfume game, I absolutely love. It’s very jasmine, licorice, & woody above all things. I’m not a fan of licorice but I love the Bvlgari DNA so much they could almost do anything and I’d love it. What they don’t tell you about getting into fragrances is that your nose & taste gets more and more sophisticated until eventually you smell like a 1000 year old vampire just going to the grocery store. I’m wearing stuff that I used to despise. But, honestly I’ve loved this house for a long, long time. Not that long for a vampire though, only 12 years or so. Speaking of this house why do they discontinue literally everything? Stop it. I like your perfumes! In the far, far dry down the licorice and wood gets very pronounced. It’s not my favorite stage of the fragrance.

I've been revisiting fragrances I wore in my early 20s and Jasmin Noir was a big love for me back then.. and I've fallen back in love with it now. I remember feeling like it was a very mature scent, almost too mature but I liked the aura of sophistication I felt from wearing it. Nowadays it feels like a youthful fragrance, probably because of the nostalgia I associate with it. Regardless, I love wearing it, it has a soft beauty to it and is definitely office-appropriate. This is not an indolic jasmine, even though "noir" might signify otherwise. This is a light, sweet jasmine, not a white floral bomb but more of a whisper with a well-balanced base of musk and woods that never overpowers. It is a simple, uncomplicated scent but comforting and elegantly beautiful. This will probably always be in my collection.

OHHHHH :) ♡♡♡ Wow, how lovely <3 I just smelled this for the first time ever today. What a gentle, pretty baby princess scent. Slightly powdery, but still super creamy, so sweet and precious. It reminds me of a mother swan with her baby settled beneath her feathers, drifting through a pristine blue lake. Or a small white dove cleaning her feathers. Very clean, a bit milky, maybe there is intrigue brewing beneath the surface, but you're unsure. It is a fragrance that makes your eyes roll back. If this was a princess, it would be Aurora. Definitely makes me imagine old castles. I don't quite see anything noir or dark about it. For now, it's just fabulous and white. I need to spend more time with it. I feel like this scent would be gorgeous on a bride. It smells sort of vintage; timeless and incredibly classy.

I tried the Splendida Jasmin Noir before this one, and I really, really love them both. Right now I have this on my left wrist and Splendida on my right. They are EXTREMELY similar. The only real difference my (admittedly inexperienced) nose can pick up is the almond in this one, which is a really fantastic and surprising addition. This seems to have been discontinued, but if you're looking for something close, the Splendida may be a good option, especially if you layer it with something subtle with almond notes. I'm seeing Splendida available and in stock basically everywhere, so I assume it's still in production. The only cons are that, like Splendida, this has no sillage or projection. But still an awesome, comfy, beautiful scent. Something I can wear at night to help me relax and go to bed.

I went crazy for this 7-8 years ago and even bought 3 extra back-up bottles on ebay. I have a problem, I know... but I simply ADORED the sweet Sambac jasmine in this against a green fresh base with a light handed patchouli that grounds this fume preventing it from becoming cloying. It comes out for formal events with fitted bodice black dresses paired with delicate diamond earrings and fabulous conversation. I've also worn it to work and have been asked, "this scent- the one you're wearing today- what is it?!" When I tell them it is Jasmin Noir by Bvlgari they said, "oh, it even smells expensive." Definitely not that expensive, but it's a good quality fume that I've enjoyed. I've sold a couple of bottles over the years, but I still enjoy the last 2 bottles from time to time.

This scent is a stunner. Whenever I dress in all black (which is almost every time I am going out) I am tempted to wear a fragrance that suits my outfit, and what could be better than this? I've experimented with this scent previously, but today it gave me such confidence I've never expected from any perfume at all. It's deep, sensual, almost mystical, not heavy at all on the indolic jasmine, I get the impression of a garden blooming at night. I am a bit anosmic to it, it's not heavy or heady at all, I can only smell it in the first 10-15 minutes, after it becomes a luxurious skin scent for me with occasional whiffs, but other people can still sense it on me which is amazing. Unfortunately it is gone after 3-4 hours. I have the older version not the Splendida one.

Why, why whyyy is this discontinued? This is a beautiful scent, a soft, yet deeply powerful jasmine with an undercurrent of something I can’t quite pick. A friend of mine wore this as her signature and it is so strongly associated with her I tried to find something different, but similar as I loved this so much. I found the jasmine in Gorilla’s Lust is too skanky, the jasmine in CK Beauty more soft and sweet, Guerlain Jardins de Bagatelle too much floral and nothing of the “something else,” Guerlain Samsara comes close in essence but is woodier and less floral overall. All beautiful perfumes I’ve collected on the hunt for something like it, but really this is quite unique. One of the most beautiful jasmine perfumes out there.

I love this fragrance! Jasmin Noir is dark and musky, very rich and creamy. It's a sensuous but still classy scent. It opens floral but the vanilla and almond, musk and tonka emerge as it settles and it's just a really sexy perfume. It's a bit unisex really. I'm not a fan of gardenia and I don't get any of it in there so it's well blended if present. It's a mature fragrance, perfect for evening wear. I got it from SDM for $20. I wished I had bought two. However, after wearing it a few times, I find it doesn't last very long. That would be the only reason I might not buy another bottle because otherwise the scent is amazing!

I almost let this go as it didn’t seem to last on my skin. Nearly two years macerating (at my home anyway) has made a difference to the new tester I had bought. Very happy I kept her and tried again. For me this has always been very noir. I get deep wood, Tonka, aniseed/liquorice (yummy) with that deep sweet amber and patchouli. The jasmine is a background player supported by musk and a lingering almond powder note. Stunning and I can now say, long lasting. I don’t have anything else like this - closest to this level of feminine darkness would be TF Vanille Fatale or TF Noir pour femme. ❤️

What a delight for a sexy yet sophisticated night out. I started wearing this perfume quite young (16yo I believe), but ever since then I realised how magnificent this scent is. Certainly not for everyone, hits you pretty hard the minute you spray. Spicy tones unravels and don't leave you for over 6 hours straight (no need for constant re-application). Warmth on the skin gives a self-confidence boost immediately, not to mention heads turning and that lovely attention from the opposite sex. Highly recommend to at least try it on, splash some in a perfume store and enjoy.

Oh my God...I can't describe how that one smells but I can definitely say that this is one the most sophisticated, elegant, nostalgic perfumes out there. Sexy in a discreet way, clean, not very sweet, for every season or occasion. It's one of the very few perfumes that I constantly bring in mind when I am trying to figure out what perfume would be the best for this or that occasion. BUT... UNFORTUNATELY it has ZERO lasting power and this makes me furious, not only because this master piece goes away immediately but also because of the outrageous unjustified price.

This is my favourite Jasmine Pefume by a long mile. It is classy and very opulent. It’s not a loud scent which I get with Alien by Mugler and can be a bit much with the jasmine. Jasmine Noir settles really well on my skin and gives off this rich, confident and successful woman vibe. I love it and I don’t wear it much since it has been discontinued, so I save it for special occasions. The projection is average and needs air to really come alive. Knowing where to spritz it on yourself is important if you want people to be able to smell it without having to hug you.

There must be huge variations between the batches because I don't understand how many people here are calling this fragrance weak. I have both, the original version and the Splendida. In the original one, the licorice note (what many are calling tobacco) is more pronounced. It isn't as sweet as Splendida and it is a little bit drier, though smoothly blended. The Splendida one is good but much more gourmand. I love both, but prefer the OG. I bought two bottles of the OG just to make sure I don't run out if it. Sensual in a dignified manner, if that makes sense 😊.

This is a very evocative scent. When I first smelled it the opening immediately brought an image into my mind of a thick black fog slowly opening up to reveal a gorgeous white flower in its center. And the drydown continues with this story by grounding the flower on a bed of vanilla. The smoke and the spices also stay present. Incredibly mysterious scent, a work of art. My mom gifted this scent to me and I only use it about once or twice a year. I would use it way more if it wasn't discontinued. The day I run out of this beauty will be a sad one for sure.

While many people are possibly anosmic to Jasmin Noir, I'm probably one of the rare few who can smell this miles away, I'm usually anosmic to gourmands and Iso-E-Super, but I have a really sharp nose for musks I think. There is a possibility I'm anosmic to the Jasmin scent on this perfume, because all I smell is musk with a hint of that ink like smell (similar to Narciso Rodriguez for Her), that I love! I do love this scent! I think it's a very sexy scent! Will keep updating with a more thorough review from my fragrance journey.

This has been my signature scent since it came out. I get compliments from men and women when I wear it. A little goes a long way with this one. When first sprayed, it is strong, but mellows after 2-3 minutes on me. The dry down is gorgeous. I think it is sophisticated and sexy. It lingers on my clothes and skin, but it isn’t overwhelming (unless too much is used at once.) The more recent formulation doesn’t seem quite as luxurious and creamy smelling to me, but I still love it.

Tried this one on my wrist today. At first it felt a little heavy and I definitely see this scent on more grown women, perhaps 35+. On my skin in smells mostly like gardenia, white flowers, jasmine. A little bit of almond and musk can also be scented. The perfume is elegant, refined, and even a bit mysterous. In general, I had a very good impression of this particular scent and would love to add it to my collection sometime in the future.

My friend used to wear this and I used love hanging out with her just to get a whiff of this gorgeous scent. It’s rich, potent and elegant. I get why it wouldn’t appeal to everyone especially the newbies. This isn’t a fruity jello explosion that fades away half an hour later. This is boldly feminine and sensual at the same time. I’m not big on women’s perfume but I felt like I needed to comment on this.

Suddenly all I smell is the old Ivory Soap. I used to be in love with this, I have three vintage bottles, stored in the back of my perfume cabinet - no heat over 70, no light, kept company by many other scents. All of my JN, pure Ivory Soap. I don't know whether to keep it and hope I like it again someday, or...? (Life is too short to keep something you don't enjoy any longer - I gave them away.)

This is what I think Maleficent / Angelina Jolie would wear. A dark jasmine! Such a beautiful floral. It’s so pretty and definitely for a date night or a gala. I always get compliments wearing this. Sillage very good longevity about 3 to 4 hours could be better. The first spray to final drydown stays just beautiful floral on me. This may become my signature scent. It’s highly recommended.

(EDP) Perfect. Boozy delicious dark incensy wood w lush jasmin note.. smooth. Lower register than jasmin in person. Jungle green in the background, licorice & tonka blending nicely, adding depth & interest. Only a little sweet, and no plastic notes. Casual and cozy with a little vamp, easy to wear. Becomes a dark vanilla scent that I love. Going to try layered w soliflores.

Addicting! It's very sweet, but not sugary at all. The dark woods in this are stunning and I'm usually not a fan of emphasizing white florals, but in this they are phenomenal. Also a major compliment getter, and men seem to really find this sexy if you're interested in that! I only wear mine for special occasions, especially now that the OG seems to have been discontinued.

This is great beautiful jasmine. It reminds me of something and I just realized what it is, it smells almost exactly like L’instant de Guerlain pour Homme. But with distinct narcotic jasmine in the middle. Actually goes well in the hotter weather, has that kind of sexual narcotic white floral scent that you get when the orange blossoms or jacarandas are blooming in the air

A lovely perfume, one of the first I wore when I was a teenager starting to be interested in fragrances. It is a soft nighttime jasmine with a slight nuttiness, that isn't overly complex and is both wearable and elegant. I was a bit heartbroken when Bvlgari switched to the Splendida collection, and I am considering buying a secondhand bottle.

This smells beautiful and expensive. Like Jasmine on a moonless night. It really is beautiful, and I was surprised at how many people disliked it. It opens with gardenia, not my favorite, but then glorious jasmine and musk. The dry down on my skin is woods with a hint of jasmine and licorice. 7 out of ten. True jasmine lovers, come hither!

This was the first perfume I ever purchased, at 14 years old. I smelled it in a magazine ad (remember the smellable ads?) and fell in love. Saved up for a little bit and then pulled the trigger. Not sure where the bottle has gone, over a decade later, but I still remember the feeling of intrigue and sophistication it gave me.

This perfume quickly became my winter signature scent in 2019. It smells very unique like nothing I ever smelled and it goes so smooth on my skin. I also tend to get quickly irritated by a lot of fragrances I like after wearing them for couple of hours, never experienced that with this bad boy! Absolutely in love.

I didn't like it 10 years ago 😁, now I do. All I smell is Jasmine + Chocolate + Coffee combo. Very pleasant, delicate, mysterious, dark, sexi. I wish it was more intense, I barely feel it. I remember, 10 yrs ago it was very strong and harsh... What happened to the formulation, I don't understand 🙄.

Original formula, before they brightened it and added the funky orange rind to the second (and later?) formulation(s), is simply heaven for me. So woody, heady, suits any weather. Demure. Smells classy, expensive. Smells a million bucks, if I said things like that. I just said that. Incomparable.

Dark silent, unkind and seductive and bitter. It’s made for a queen like Sersie Lannister, a very bitch one. If I was forced to choose a perfume between more than hundreds perfumes I have I would definitely go with this one since it's timeless and smells really expensive.

I think it is one of the most successful perfumes of the brand. When I wear this perfume, it makes me think of a woman in a black dress and black fur who is walking fast in the streets of Petersburg in winter, trying to catch up with theater, who is walking fast in heels.

Does anyone have the version which has "the essence of a jeweller" on its box? I cannot figure out whether it is the same or it differs from the original Jasmin noir edp formula. I wouldn't open the box just send back to the webshop is it a different scent. Thank you!

Why are my favorites always discontinued? I can't seem to find this anywhere, going to snatch up any bottles I find! This is a gardenia-jasmine/dark marzipan gem! There is something sultry and different about this one, will always be a favorite.

I must admit from smelling this from the bottle I got a “meh” reaction. Then I put it on my skin and it’s musky, warm, sexy, amber, jasmine, patchouli, licorice, creamy almond, my skin but better. This is a sexy black haired elegant beauty.

Though this is a female fragrance, I personally love and can see some men liking as well. Very floral and a little sweet. But overall a great smell for anyone! Love it a lot, it last decently well. Only complaint is it’s pretty expensive.

I can't put my finger on why this smells so familiar. Maybe a previous lotion? Maybe an estee lauder face cream my mom used? I would use it just to smell it. I really like it. But i cant feel like its mine at the same time.

A bit mysterious and refined lady. That's the image i got everytime i spray this fragrance. I get jasmine, almond,and some bitter/tart notes that seemed to complement the scent. To me this smells expensive.
