To me, this is almost identical to Bianco Latte, which I absolutely love! It’s like this super yummy sweet vanilla swirled with decadent honey and caramel with touches of chocolate, powdery musk, and hinoki wood. I know this doesn’t list honey or caramel as notes, but I really feel like I’m picking up on them, and I love that! I finally got a bottle of this after trying samples for a couple years. I bought a sampler set from Sephora with a voucher, so it was between this, Kilian Princess, and Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato. Since I already own the other 2, I was excited to finally get a bottle of Dulce, and I’m super glad to finally own her too! I agree with the review below about this smelling like the air of an ice cream shop. It has rich and decadent notes, but it does come across on the softer side. When it comes to its comparison to Bianco Latte that’s the main difference. Bianco Latte is more bold and intense, while Dulce is softer and more delicate. I also find both of them to be extremely similar to BBW Whipped Honey & Vanilla. I’m also getting a similarly to Ellis Brooklyn Queen’s Caramel, but obviously without the maple note. To me, Dulce feels ultra-feminine, and fitting for women of any age. This feels best suited for the fall winter, and colder days of spring. I think this works well for all occasions from casual to fancy, and even for work and/or school. I get good performance with Dulce. The longevity is moderate, about 6 hours on my skin. The projection is on the softer side, and radiates out about an arm’s length from me. It does make me think of rich, creamy vanilla ice cream, with chunks of chocolate, and drizzled with honey! This definitely feels very reminiscent of Bianco Latte, except without the caramel. I also think it’s quite similar to LSF Vanilla Twirl, Summer Fridays Sunlit Vanilla, Ellis Brooklyn Queen’s Caramel, and B&BW Whipped Honey & Vanilla, all of which also remind me of Bianco Latte. It’s definitely a scent profile that I really enjoy! To me this feels very feminine, and like it’s suitable for women of any age. I think this works best during the colder weather of fall, winter, and early spring. This feels suitable for any occasion from casual to fancy, and including work/school. Now purchased my own 50ml bottle and I am so happy! Before I even got to a full bottle I actually started with a 10ml decant, I was always curious with this one and refrained from purchasing one before only because I'm not the biggest fan of chocolate. When I first tried this, 'meh' was my first impression, I wasn't really wowed with it, it was sweet smelling, but very light and it has some sort of 'stink' which I am guessing would be the chocolate and hinoki wood, didn't dislike it, but didn't love it either. Tested it for a few more weeks, and I don't know what came over me, but I suddenly learned to love the scent. It's not a sillage nor a projection beast, rather it sits quietly and demurely on you, and you can absolutely smell it on yourself, and you'll feel like you're in a really clean, sweet and comforting bubble only you can appreciate. For most people I believe they smell like vanilla ice cream when wearing this one, but on me, it's more chocolately/woody with a hint of light sweet vanilla. I tried to save up some of the 10ml I have before my full bottle arrives because I went through it so fast. If you are a clean, skin scent lover but would like something gourmand, you have to give this a try. It's wonderful. And to those comparing this to Bianco Latte, I honestly do not think they smell similar, BL is way stronger and quite headache inducing even if it smells good, and mostly smells like caramel and vanilla on my nose. Don't blind buy and if you are someone who expects a BL dupe, this is not it. Overall, I am making this my signature scent, wearable any weather, any occasion, it's light fluffy and pleasant, and a successful perfume imo. Sillage is 3/10, projection 3/10, longevity 7/10 stays 5-6hrs on me.

Dulce is a creamy, vanilla bean, cupcake scent. However, it is creamy so it does have a bit of a milky vibe to it, making it softer and airy. It’s a very light vanilla, not overwhelming. Out of all the vanilla perfumes I’ve tried thus far, this one’s the closest thing to a true “vanilla bean” fragrance. It’s not as woody as AG’s plush vanilla, but it’s very similar. It reminds me a bit of vanilla voyage but minus the licorice and slight caramel scent to it + it doesn’t give me a headache. I’ve never smelled BL so I have no idea. Also, this doesn’t smell at all like Eclaire and thank god because I hated that one. I can overspray this one and not get overwhelmed. It’s way sweeter as well. The milky-ness isn’t nauseating either because I find that there’s a thin line between creamy and straight up milk in a fragrance. I don’t get any whiffs of play dough like I’ve seen in some reviews. I don’t smell chocolate either. Think a creamy vanilla dessert that’s slightly woody and with some musk but barely, it’s overall airy. Longevity is normal but if you layer it - 100/10. I’ve been searching for the “perfect” vanilla and I’ve been dissapointed time and time again with scents like “fresh cream” by philosophy or even “vanilla skin” by fleur. Some even claim “mod vanilla” is a true vanilla scent. All of the scents I’ve listed are mixed with other things, whether it’s something fruity or it’s too musky. I really adore this fragrance and honestly it’s the best and closest vanilla perfume I’ve smelled. I’ll still be on the lookout for more.

I swear I’m even getting the same rich honeyed vanilla and caramel! This rich vanilla ice cream drizzled with caramel and honey, and a sprinkle of chocolate. It’s very sweet and super yummy! I also get some hinoki wood in the base grounding everything, but it’s very soft. This really comes off as a true gourmand treat! The main difference I get is the performance, with Bianco Latte way outperforming Dulce. I’m also reminded of B&BW Whipped Honey & Vanilla (honey drizzle, blossoming neroli, whipped vanilla bean), the body care pairs really well with both Dulce and Bianco Latte. I really appreciate that By Rosie Jane fully discloses their fragrance ingredients. It makes a difference, especially since a lot of perfumes have been giving me headaches lately, and this one doesn’t at all. Dulce is a sweet vanilla musk that feels soft, creamy, and comforting. I don’t get any woodiness, and while there might be a chocolate note, it’s not literal. It's more like a subtle extra sweetness that adds depth rather than smelling like a chocolate bar. I’ve had my bottle for almost a year, and now that it’s started to turn slightly yellow, the scent has deepened beautifully and lasts much longer. I’d honestly recommend letting it age, because at this stage it smells divine. I dislike overly juvenile, sugary vanillas, but this isn’t like that at all. It’s simple but still has dimension; a light, clean, airy vanilla that works for any season, occasion, or age. It layers perfectly with everything, adding just the right touch of sweetness without becoming overpowering. It reminds me of an angel sitting in fluffy clouds made of vanilla ice cream - soft, dreamy, and effortlessly beautiful.

dulce: cookie dough vanilla haze: powdered sugar sunlit vanilla: generic vanilla caramel this is so good for what it is that i want. a simple vanilla. FINALLY. not spicy, not amber, not floral, not caramel/cream gourmand. just vanilla and a bit of sugar and muted wood. so simple but right up my alley. it’s great and cozy and so versatile. it does smell like the general aroma of a creamery. vanilla in the air. their formulas are oily though. it’s nothing like vanilla 28 at all nor is it marketed to be. dulce opens kind of play dough but it settles nicely quickly. honestly this has super great longevity on clothes that touch my skin. but it is quite greasy so i don’t think you should spray on clothes. vanilla haze is like 60% similar to this, except it has a powdered sugar ticklish sparkly vibe to it. i think the two would layer well. dulce is much better blended and dries nicer than sunlit vanilla, almost like it’s effortless. you could wear this on a plane. i cannot stand that other one! it smells like muddled cream cardboard on the dry down.

tldr: clean, fresh, wood-enhancing vanilla icecream it truly is exactly how it is described: vanilla bean icecream with notes of hinoki wood! without any layerings, the perfume dries down throughout the day to become a sweet lactonic with slight vanilla notes. the drydown throughout the day also develops a clean, soap-ish scent. sometimes it also dries down and smells like vaseline tho?? this is the perfect light, clean, summer vanilla. you can tell the wood note is there, but it complements the vanilla so well and helps boost the vanilla icecream part! kudos to rosie jane and the research team, you truly understand complementary scents and the olfactories very well!! if you're looking for a vanilla extract straight perfume, this wont be it but its close enough! im a vanilla purist lover, and actually am looking for the best sugar free vanilla extract to use as a perfume... but this is the most perfect vanilla icecream scent so i might stick to this for now!

Oh man, I really didn’t want to buy into the hype with this one... but here we are. This is ethereal, beautiful, and now firmly added to my ever-growing wish list. I tried a sample and instantly felt connected to it. It’s so soft, delicate, and pretty, the kind of scent that makes you feel ultra feminine without trying too hard. On my skin it feels elegant and intimate, with a subtle sweetness rather than anything loud or sugary. To me, it smells more like warm milk foam or whipped buttercream lightly dusted with cocoa powder than straight-up ice cream. It’s comforting, cosy, and quietly sexy. The musk is done beautifully and gives it just enough depth to keep things interesting. Fiancé’s reaction was a full 10 out of 10. He said he loves that it isn’t just a sweet vanilla, that it has a bit of complexity and doesn’t smack you in the face with sugar. He also picked up a caramel-like note, which is interesting! Annoyingly good. I didn’t stand a chance.

i am not usually a big gourmand person, my favorites are very sterile. however, this perfume is lovely! it is not an incredibly sweet and thick vanilla, more like the thin but potent vanilla extract. the woody and musky notes are perfect for me, being more my style. there is something i can't place about this scent that feels almost fizzy to me. hear me out: if you have had cold coffee lattes in a can like the colombe brand, there is an odd taste that comes along with it that tastes slightly carbonated. i don't know why, but this perfume has a bit of that fizzy, been-locked-in-an-aluminum-can smell. in a good way!! that would not be a reason to rule out this perfume in any way. anyway, i love this perfume so much as a thinner, lighter, darker, less sugary and more mature vanilla, and i think it is a safe blind buy as well.

In the search for the perfect summer vanilla, I found her ! My new signature scent to carry me through the introduction of summer lies with notes of warm wood, chocolate and the most perfect fluffy vanilla. I initially also picked up on a discrete creamy milky almond-y kind of scent which I love. I didn't think id be much of a fan of the chocolate note, but I was proven to be very wrong as it so perfectly binds it all together. The projection is gorgeous, so much so I have received many compliments on this so far (which is honestly rare for me!) I do wish the longevity was longer, but that is my only complaint. Its a great gourmand if you are someone who enjoys a sweet note with complexity rather than a sugary bomb!

Dulce smells like a scoop of vanilla ice cream with a light drizzle of chocolate syrup dusted with tons of cinnamon. This fragrance doesn't have a note of cinnamon but I totally pick up on a woody cinnamon dessert. Overall, it has pretty weak lasting power and sits closer to the skin. It's very much in the Bianco Latte scent profile but it's much lighter and softer compared to a dense dessert. If you're looking for a Bianco Latte scent profile but can be worn year-round I would recommend getting Dulce as it is airier and more well-rounded. It has a bit more wood and chocolate but still leans relatively light. For the price, I would say this is a good purchase!

I LOVE this scent. My friends always tell me I smell fantastic when I wear it, and despite its price, the bottle lasts for a long time! I was using this every few days for months just out of the 0.5 oz test size. Only con is that it can start to smell a bit synthetic after wearing it for a while and sweating a lot. Still not bad, just not as good as on the first spray. Also, the vanilla is a bit strong, and the hinoki wood doesn’t come through quite as much. It balances out after a few hours. I would just do 1 spray (or 2 sprays if you’re feeling generous) on the wrists. Definitely a more intimate scent, I love this for dates and closer settings especially!

Oh my goodness...dare I say I like this better than Bianco Latte?! This is coming from a lover of everything sweet and gourmand. Bianco latte is just too harsh and syrupy for me I think. Dulce is softer, fluffier, more powdery and comforting. I do not think Dulce smells like vanilla ice cream however, like everyone says. It’s just a slightly creamy and super cozy vanilla that just barely classifies as a gourmand to me. I can’t think of a single food that smells similar other that maybe whipped cream. I think it’s accurate to describe this as a diet version of Bianco Latte like others have mentioned. It’s more clean and mature. 9/10

i am a fan of this fragrance, i really love it. it is my strongest fragrance and i only have it in a travel size, but i would love to get a big bottle. this fragrance does give me a headache if i spray it too much (i am sensitive to fragrance) because it really does have a strong powdery undertone in my opinion, but i still love it i just go easy on it. it's a very nice creamy vanilla with a slight chocolate and woodiness scent mixed in. i definitely can see how people get vanilla ice cream to it, but i do think it's more woody for that but that's just me, it's more musky to me. if you like vanilla, i think i'd give this a try!

I LOVE this perfume. I first smelt this without reading any reviews and immediately thought of melted vanilla bean ice cream in a waffle cone and I'm glad other people thought that as well. The wood notes in this somehow make it smell like straight vanilla ice cream, which I would have never guessed. I do agree with the people saying that this smells like a plastic baby doll (but I kind of love that?) I always get compliments on this and even when I start to drift away from gourmands this one always stays in my rotation. This was also my gateway drug into the world of By Rosie Jane. I love all of her perfumes!!!

I was super lucky and stumbled upon a 10ml at TJ Maxx and have always been dying to try this scent. This is one of the most beautiful gormand scents I have ever had the pleasure of trying and has very quickly become an all time favorite. it opens with the most beautiful mix of musk and vanilla. think marshmallow skin, soft and supple. the hinoki wood gives it an almost boozy nature, something warm that you feel at the pit of your stomach like liquor. for those claiming that this is a similar scent to bianco latte but i think this is a far more mature scent (at least for me). definitely worth trying <3

I've gotten really into this brand recently because I've been switching over to cleaner ingredients. Dulce may be my current favorite. It feels like a more grown up vanilla with a sprinkle of woodsiness in the base. Very wearable and effortless and cozy. It's a scent I'm just as comfortable wearing to work in an office as I am at home relaxing on the couch. Really enjoying it right now in the winter but feel it could span all the seasons if you want it to. It's not too heavy. The more I wear it the more it grows on me! I've recently been enjoying pairing it with Remi by Rosie Jane too.

Dulce does not disappoint! For such a budget-friendly scent, it has a certain yummy sophistication I've come to expect of esoteric niche houses. Let's start at the beginning... The masses are right. The opening is a yummy vanilla ice cream cone with caramel sauce. It's sweet and rich. Delicious, but not the type of scent I want to wear all day The magic is in the dry down. Dulce is a summer bonfire with s'mores. I get dark, slightly-melted dark chocolate and dry wood. Airy, musky, woody, and just a touch sweet. Refined nostalgia. I'll be getting a full-sized bottle for sure

the notes from the brand website match better than the Fragrantica notes in my opinion. To me, this is a sugary vanilla with a fresh woody background. Sugar was the first thing I thought when I smelled it, like the way sugar crystals sprinkled on desserts taste, but there is more going on than just that. The wood pairs very well, it's smooth and it doesn't take over the scent but it does keep it from smelling generic vanilla. I can see the vanilla ice cream, but I don't think I would have smelled that without the influence of marketing.

dulce... where do i even begin on this beauty. in the two years i've been collecting vanilla perfumes, never has any perfume still lasted on me 12 hours later or smelt like pure sweet vanilla like this one has. this is my absolute treasure—i'd argue it’s at the same level as vanilla skin based on longevity, sillage, and scent. if you’re looking for a true vanilla or an ice cream-birthday cake like scent, look no further than this gorgeous girl herself. she is THAT vanilla perfume i didn’t know i needed alongside vanilla skin.

Honestly? I love this perfume. It's cozy and comforting. There's this sweetness with a cream undertone that ends with a very subtle woodsy tone. I find myself smelling my own shirt when I need to chill out or breathe for a moment. What I hate about it is that it doesn't really last on my skin long. It does linger on my clothing - but projection is very limited. If I could find something just like this with better projection and longevity, I would be so happy. I really think the hinoki is what makes this.

I can’t believe I slept on this perfume for this long. I had heard good things but thought, no way is it that good. I bought a travel and let’s say I already have a full size on the way. It’s literally a powdery vanilla bean ice cream. With just a hint of woodiness to prevent it from getting too sickly sweet. The sillage isn’t the best, but I don’t even care. It’s an everyday type scent if you like vanilla and it’s so comforting. Might be my new everyday fragrance/signature.

It smells like straight vanilla extract with a hint of woodiness. I think it smells better on clothes, it disappeared pretty fast on my skin. It drys down to a slightly soapy clean vanilla that is light enough to wear during the summer. I can definitely smell the chocolate and it’s slightly cinnamony. It’s really nice but I probably wouldn’t buy a whole bottle since it kinda smells like my bottle of fresh cream warm cashmere (dulce is a bit woodier though). 9/10

I love this perfume. It's so creamy and fluffy, with a hint of powdery chocolate. It's definitely more of an intimate scent, as it doesn't really project. Like others have mentioned, I find that this perfume lasts longer on clothes than skin. I wish it was stronger and projected more so that I could be completely surrounded by its scent all day. I would loooove Dulce as a home fragrance mist - it's so warm and cozy, I want to be totally wrapped up in it.

this is my second favorite fragrances of ALL time coming from a gourmand lover. literal vanilla ice cream!! it starts off very gourmand, but with a clean effect to it. like a clean vanilla ice cream. it then develops into a beautiful vanilla ice cream with brown sugar and a very small amount of chocolate shavings on top. if you get this, do yourself a favor and pair this with the choco musk OIL and body SPRAY (not the mist; the SPRAY) 🍦🍫💝

This is so yummy, to me this is as if Bianco latte and choco musk had a baby, so warm, inviting and cosy! Projection could be better but lasts on my skin for hours and hours! I don’t think I’ve seen/heard anyone talk about the atomiser though, I don’t know if I got a dud or something but it’s an abomination of a sprayer 😂 I end up all drippy, not a nice fine mist or anything... also such a shame it’s so expensive to get this in the UK 😭

good god i LOVED this perfume. i honestly think it's great for all seasons. just a lovely vanilla bean scent with a light woody/musky base that really agreed with my skin. unfortunately i wore it during a time in my life i didnt realize had traumatized me until recently, when i spritzed it after not wearing it for a while. made my stomach drop along with my smile. she's just that powerful! someday soon i'll return to you, my dulce...

when you want to smell yummy and sweet but not suffocating, this is the one. It's surprising this perfume doesn't have any notes of caramel because to me it literally smells like warm caramel. It doesn't have longevity or projection really but I think I prefer it that way. It's more intimate and sits close to the skin. Good fragrance for those who want to smell yummy & delicious but not suffocating to those around them.

I love this so much ♡ it's an airy sweet vanilla with a hint of chocolate, gentle but noticeable musk, and soft wood. perfect easy reach. not overly syrupy or heavy. I love gourmands but at times I don't prefer the dessert bomb overload (sometimes I do!) . a bit of a lighter vanilla & musk than Nemat Vanilla Musk, which I also love. plus there's the added yummy chocolate. this, to me, is perfect.

Have the sample of this scent from their discovery set. It's my favourite so far. It's a soft, fluffy vanilla that has a lovely chocolate note as it dries down. With a hint of wood without being too heavy. Latsest from 8am until about 3 or 4pm and was a nice little scent bubble. It won't be a beast mode, room filling scent. But very wearable and yum. I'll be buying a bigger bottle

I like this scent a lot. It is a lightweight gourmand, so it isn’t too thick to wear in the summer. It reminds me of a crème brûlée air freshener I loved. It is well balanced (not to too sweet). The wood in this is one of my favorite. The down side is that it isn’t very strong and disappears pretty quickly. I wish it lasted longer because it is pricey for body spray longevity.

i wore this to work last night and got three compliments within the first hour. my bestie said i smelled like cookies baking in the oven. another said i smelled cozy. a man said i smelled “like a vanilla yankee candle in the best way.” i find myself yearning to smell this throughout the day and it brings me so much comfort. dulce is everything!!!!!

When this first came out, I knew I would need a backup bottle. Ugh 😩 this smells like grabbing a tub of vanilla ice cream from the fridge, getting a nice silver spoon, and indulging on the first scoop. It’s the creamy vanilla scent you get as you begin to eat the ice cream that then turns milky. It literally smells like cold vanilla ice cream 🍨

I bought a decant of this and let me just say that I'm going to purchase the entire bottle. This perfume is such a soft vanilla that reminds me of a melting ice-cream on a waffle cone. It's a simple vanilla scent that layers beautifully with other vanilla scents. I'd highly recommended for gourmand lovers that want an option for work.

this is the most delish perfume ive ever smelt in life im wearing it ALLLL summer and every other season idc!!!!😍 also im sensitive and allergic to dmn near everything (a tragic thing to have as a perfume lover bahahha) and THIS FITS THE BILLLL doesnt break me out cause allergies etc🥹❤️❤️❤️❤️ pls make this forever my bf loves it too

my favourite vanilla fragrance! not overwhelmingly sweet, just pure vanilla heaven, i’ve gone through 3 big bottles and 4 10mls and honestly my only complaint is that it’s expensive for how much fragrance you get as it’s only 50ml and it’s easy to use up quickly :( lasts all day but definitely sits close to the skin

Dulce is by far my favourite perfume EVER! It's such a smooth, sweet vanilla scent that I find I can wear year round. I bought my first bottle at Christmas and already have back ups which I NEVER do but there was a travel and full size kit so I couldn't resist. I just wish they came out with a 100ml bottle.

One word: wow. Macerates beautifully, starts off kinda play-doh-ish though. But as it goes, it grows into a very vanilla scent with some chocolate whiffs and some musk. Quite good for every season in my opinion but heavily winter and autumn days. For the gourmand girlies who like to smell like a snack

I absolutely adore this perfume. For me it smells like a fairly standard vanilla. I don't get a lot of the other notes. But the vanilla I do get is absolutely sumptuous. It smells like comfort and home and peace. Somehow it is both simple and complex at the same time. I highly recommend it.

With a name like Dulce and comparisons to Bianco Latte, I expected a much sweeter fragrance than we get. As it first dries down, the hinoki wood is most noticeable, but slowly fades away some to give the spotlight to the musky vanilla. This beautiful fragrance has really grown on me.

Wild that this doesn’t last for some of you guys! I actually find that it lasts forever on me, and this is one of the more unique vanillas in my collection—nice milky frothy combo of milk chocolate, orchid and a lil cashmere after the big French vanilla bomb you get initially

A cozy vanilla scent! It's quite linear. I don't smell a lot of chocolate on me. It's not overly sweet and easy to wear. I'd been searching for a good vanilla scent for so long, others are usually coconut forward or smell screechy. This is a perfect vanilla scent to me.

this is one of my favorite perfumes now!! its sooo good and delicious omg. it smells exactly like vanilla ice cream. i definitely smell the vanilla bean, brown sugar, dulce de leche and tonka. it also lasts soo long! i personally feel like its perfect for all seasons 💗

Smells like gourmet vanilla bean ice cream when you bite into it and the scent is right near your nose. Great longevity--you can smell the hinoki wood note, but it doesn't overpower the musky, creamy vanilla & chocolate. It's cute and soft.

A delicious, creamy lactonic vanilla with a hint of soft, clean musk. It’s quite simple, but I love that. The people saying it smells like vanilla bean ice cream are correct. It’s not sickly though, it’s really lovely and airy.

It’s SO good. I sprayed a bit on my arm at 11pm and I can still smell it at 10am. To me, it’s a very milky scent. It smells like melted vanilla ice cream with brown sugar crystals on top My bottle broke today tho....

Dulce is seriously addictive. It's a chocolate/vanilla fragrance with woody musk. Sweet and totally gourmand from start to finish. Not to mention, it's so delicious to wear. Totally recommend for gourmand lovers.
