Angels' Share x French Montana

It’s ridiculous voting this fragrance down just because of the bottle. It’s an amazing frag! I haven’t got the original to compare the actual smell, but I never expected it to be different.... the official KILIAN WEBSITE CLEARLY LISTS HAZELNUT IN BOTH VERSIONS (seeing as though we’re doing caps on this lol. EDIT: this was in response to a series of shouty caps comments in a post that has now been deleted....). Perhaps fragrantica notes for the original version are incorrect, as I’d think Kilian would have it right on their website... And while Sandalwood, praline and vanilla aren’t specifically mentioned on this new version’s description, I’m pretty sure they’re there too. The listed ingredients are identical too (although obviously some of those collectively under ‘parfum’ could be different, but I think if it was different they’d have claimed it to be). I’ve clearly missed some information that is causing this outrage haha. As for the bottle, each to their own, I prefer the gold top as it adds a bit of class as you can’t see the spray through it as you could before. That’s the only reason I chose this Limited Edition version. And what’s so wrong with limited edition packing due to someone famous using your product? As I said I’m clearly missing something surrounding hazelnut. But I’m not missing it in the fragrance 😉 Anyway, I’ll do a proper review when I receive it (for Xmas). Edit: Couldn’t resist trying it haha. Bought direct from Kilian. The liquid in the bottle looks more like the colour shown on the original Angle’s Share photo rather than this photo. It’s paler than this photo. In the bottle it smells of spiced apple pie. Once sprayed, it’s very sweet, cognac and definitely hazelnuts/praline, but only for ten mins or so. After this the cinnamon and wood notes come through, and it’s fairly warm and spicy. And still reminds me of apple pie. Can’t stop smelling my arm, but it’s maybe a bit more cinnamon than I imagined, and for this reason it’s getting more masculine on the skin than I thought it would be. Def still wearable for everyone though. I get that sweet fizzy cola vibe from this too. It’s like sitting in a room with a cinnamon candle, eating a spiced apple pie and fizzy cola bottle sweets, drinking a glass of congac, and the person next to you is filling a pipe with tobacco. Update, got hold of a sample of the original and it is the same, with the same hazelnut note. But this bottle is WAY nicer!

I’ve waited a while to write this cause I hate to complain but I cannot stand this collaboration, give me a better vibe. Give me integrity and someone respectable and respectful. First off they’re different that hazelnut note is there and it comes off like a hazelnut musk it’s nice. I got a sample of the original and liked it a lot it’s like a super spicy boozy candy apple and it might make your eyes roll back and it even lasts forever. I can spray it on my collar before I go to bed and it’ll be there in the morning. This one has the same dna but it has that hazelnut which is like a slight musk hazelnut mixed with that spicy boozy candy apple. When I went to Killians website to check the price I saw this and groaned. Endorse better celebrities for the good of society. I blind bought this cause I liked the original so much I figured some hazel nut couldn’t hurt it and I wanted to give my two cents on this french montana collab. Literally blind bought it to complain and let fragrantica know if they were different. I just hate when people do outlandish things for attention especially when it’s for money I.e choosing french montana to make people talk and create hype he’s a skeevy guy to me and I don’t like him. He’s always bragging about cocaine and that’s not what I want to associate with fragrance and I don’t respect anyone who calls women hoes by default. I can’t help but think about his hot breath hitting my face as he yells HEH! Or when he squawks like a bird, which I think is also a cocaine reference. Give me someone upstanding!!!!!!!!!!! Glorify that!!!!!!! The original and this one are different enough to buy both. I really am honestly dissapointed maybe I’ll buy another bottle of this someday but not with french montanas name on it cause I don’t want to give him any money. 9 or 10 out of ten for me but again glorify better people. I also got a second sample of angel share when I ordered this from killian by the way and it was identical to the one I had. Its worth repeating again I blind bought this to complain; but I am happy with the fragrance. Show women respect.

Ok so i know ppl say Kilian have used the same juice in this as in the original, but its not...very strange, i bought two...this and the og, they smell the same but the og has more cinamon and this has a more nutty aspect...like Hazel mixed w almond.. This was tested w 3 different Angel shares, two og one new and one older .. i blind tested myself two times... And i can pick upp the praline in this much better.. but not that Appel facet So to sum upp this has less Appel ..less brandy..more prailine and a nutty note. Now i just want to know why Kilian is saying its the same juice Just for lols i tested kismet Angel to.. it lacks the opening and the strong drydown.. it mimics the mid notes ok..."cinnamon"and a weak amber ..you get what you pay for Ps the difference between this and the og is not that big..but iff i had to chose i take this one ❤️

Just the bottle’s changed. If you want a bottle of Angels’ Share and haven’t got one yet, I recommend this for its much better looking bottle. Otherwise if you already own the original and don’t care for the bottle, don’t get it. Yes, I got it because of the bottle.

My wife loves when I wear this. You can tell the difference from the original just based off of the addition of the hazelnut. If you can find it for a good price, and don’t have the original AS, I would say get it.

I have this new one & it smells the same as the original but a little bit more creamy & woody from the hazelnut. To me this version is a little more wearable than the original.

I liked the idea of a boozy fragrance, but honestly it reads less like cognac and more like Frangelico. The scent is really really sweet, in a kind of Yankee Candle baked good holiday candle way, seems to be a Kilian signature. It smells nice, but not in a sultry way, more like a roasted nut cart in midtown Manhattan. The price point is very high for something that reminds me of Whispers in the Library mixed with a Flaming Dr Pepper. The bottle is very nice though.

French Montana is so D list, I dunno why Kilian did a collab with him. Juice is the same but like Stinky Whiskey Buttons said the hazelnut is amped up over all the other notes.

Kilian has confirmed that the actual juice is no different than the regular Angel's Share The bottle is the only difference If you want to see the comment, search Kilian Paris on YouTube, look for their official "Kilian Paris" channel and look for the French Montana video Someone asked the question if the scent is any different and this was the response: "Dear Terr, Thank you for your question. The juice is not different from the original. Only the bottle changed! Hope it will help. Best, The KILIAN Team" It's certainly a nicer bottle and probably a nice addiction to someone's collection who is a bona fide collector, but for me I'm cool with the cheapy refill bottle and just using my own atomizer lol :O

@gilbertsolorzano54 I will say, Diddy is why French got this collab or whatever you want to call it. That was a "bone" thrown to French by Diddy, seeing as he carried weight at that time within the parent companies. (Who's cares of anyone has anything to say, this isn't pertaining to the fragrance. At least it's not a "Fake review" of a fragrance I've never smelled

I don’t know the celebrity that Kilian collaborated with, nor do I care either way, but FYI...this isn’t exactly the same as the original Angels Share. Either Fragrantica has the notes listed wrong or whoever responded to the inquiry about the juice being the same as the original is wrong (referencing the review below mine). Hazelnut is not in the original.

The juice is definitely different. Doesn’t change the fragrance much overall from the OG. However, if you’re like me and felt that there was a bit too much cinnamon in the original this version tones that down significantly. That’s the biggest difference between the 2 regardless of what posters here has said and even Killian themselves

@chart1931 stop meat riding French Montana, he has horrible music so he had to sellout and partner with a cologne company because he has no good songs and no one knows him. i don't know about you but that's the definition of a sellout to me

This is the same as the original. There’s no change in scent. People are definitely lying 🤣 also if anyone has the 15th anniversary edition of AS & want to trade hmu bc I’m not really a fan of French Montana

@parispeach The connection is that FM actually stated he wears Kilian a LOT and is a huge fan so they collaborated that’s why. That’s pretty much it.

Just so everyone knows: This is the exact same juice just in a different bottle. No hazelnut. It was miscommunication on kilians part.
