Forbidden Games

My first impression of this fragrance was a musky, potpurri scent, just vague mix of fruits and didnt think I would like it. However the more I wore it, the more it grew on me. It is more complex than i first thought and has a nice, long lasting, evolution of notes. I dont find it linear at all, as some reviewers said. In fact, quite the opposite. Forbidden Games opens with that strong potpurri smell, but quickly, notes of cinammon apple and peach emerge as the top notes, along with a nice musky scent- perhaps the oppanax? Then the jasmine and rose come join the party, but the top notes are still there. As it wears on, the fragrance dances around: between strong and soft, fem and masc, fruit and floral, and disapears for a lil bit just to bounce back providing different wafts of notes for hours on me. The vanilla and honey are most prominent on the drydown.You can smell the quality of the ingredients. FG is quite long lasting on me. Ironically, i dont have the best sense of smell, but I can smell it on myself for around 7 hours. Not sure about the sillage, I assume average unless you just sprayed it, in which case has strong sillage. Also I detected some similarity to "back to black" pop up here and there. I smell the same honey/vanilla/even chamomile and hay notes in both. I suspect some of the same Calice's concoctions are used in both. This is a fragrance you need to test over a few days to appreciate it.I havent tried the other 3 in this line yet so I cant compare with them. I think is unusual and different in the huge market of fruity/florals, and def worth a try!

I chose this fragrance as part of the discovery set on the Kilian website. I shouldn't have read the reviews right before I tried this, but I did and was therefore expecting to not like this one. I'm not normally one for fruity fragrances, so I didn't love the super fruity and somewhat artificial opening, but then that calms down and the florals make their debut and gosh, it's just so pretty! I was sitting outside in fairly cold weather with a mask on when it bloomed. At first I thought someone had walked by me wearing a fragrance and then I realized that this scent had just transformed that much that I didn't even recognize it. The florals just blend so well with the other fruity notes that you can't really pick them out that well. For instance, jasmine lends more of a quality to the scent than a distinct note. I did pick up the honey even in the heart of the fragrance, but again it was the syrupy quality of honey rather than a distinct honey note like in Back to Black. Projection is good, within an arms reach but beyond intimate. I put it on at around 8:00am this morning; it's now 6:22pm and it is a skin scent. I'm impressed! I still have a bit of a scent cloud around me because it clings to clothes really well. Will I be getting a full bottle? If money was no object, absolutely. It's entirely possible that I'll save up for this one. I still have so many samples to sample. I don't know which scents will come out on top, but this is definitely a contender and I'm fairly picky.

On smell alone this is one of the best smells you will get your nose on. It is imo the best peach scent on the market. The honey and the jasmine give it a syrupy lush depth while the rose and geranium keep it fresh and spritely. The blend is masterfully done. The name Forbidden Games is quite apt. There is almost something hedonistic and sinful about this much olfactive pleasure. I share the eXact same sentiments as a review stated earlier; this is eXactly what I wanted Dangerous Liaisons to be! It is a well balanced fruity fragrance. It sits right on the edge of being too fruity but it remains traditionally gender nuetral, it is neither too rich and thick nor too fresh and light. There is an element of the familiar in this fragrance and that doesn't make it mundane. It contains no eXotic notes and so some ppl read that as generic or unimaginative, I pity them. What FB is, is a delectible fruity fragrance done to perfection using only the best of ingredients and the most masterful of blending techniques, every note sings harmoniously and supports the others to the benefit of the overall smell. Unfortunately projection is quite average. It is more of a summer time fragrance as the heat really boosts its presence on the skin. One if my favorite byKilian fragrances and a head turner. Longevity - 10 Projection - 7 (9 in the summer) Smell - 10 Overall - 8.5

Nothing like J’adore. Totally underrated! Please judge this for yourself, I think it’s en vouge to hate on some brands, Kilian is one of them. I didn’t expect to fall in love with this fragrance but I found a 2017 bottle for an amazing price and snatched it. The opening is a delicious, ripe juicy peach, dripping with honey. I also get a lot of vanilla and it’s all balanced with rose and Jasmine which never take over but they are more present in the dry down. I find Forbidden Games creates a wonderful scent bubble for 2-3 hours then becomes more intimate, create a beautiful silage as you move for another 3 hours. It does remind me of a Gourmand version of Chanel Allure, the EDP but still not redundant as allure is more polished and proper whereas I find Forbidden games sexy. Id like a bit more opopanax and cinnamon but that might jump out at me with more wears. I feel this wears beautifully in the heat and humidity.

Florals with honey. Smells better in the air than on paper. The projection is great with this. I have a love hate relationship — I love the honey note and how airy, elegant and feminine the scent is, but there something screechy in the background. Maybe it's the mint/menthol feel from one of the notes? I don't pick up cinnamon at all too, which is much more pronounced in Angels Share (my fave). It's also headache inducing up close, a little too sickly sweet even for a gourmand lover like me. Overall, it's a nice scent for everyday and day dates, but it's on the boring side for Kilian. Not worth the price or a full bottle, but I got a 10ml decant of this and I think that's enough. Performance is poor: projection was good in the beginning, but only lasts a few hours before fading into a skin scent.

I am loving this! It is what I wanted Liaisons Dangereuses to be. Fruit, but not sweet berries, with some spice and a warm vanilla base. I was surprised when I saw the negative reviews. Some people seem to look for dirt, grit and funk in a perfume and are disappointed in an offering that does not screech or scream. Does this fragrance depict "Forbidden Games"? Well, that depends upon your interpretation of said games. I really enjoy the "wearability" of this scent. It does not strike me as an average fruity floral, there is something more. A comfortable, fun scent with a certain je ne sais qois.... Edit: I mixed a little Cruel Intentions into a vial of this (I know, Calice would not be pleased). It added longevity, silage and a fabulous sandalwood base!

Genius perfumer pushes the overripe peach note to the very edge and creates the most delirious thing since.......what, dare I say Mitsouko??? There is something about the abstract swamping fruit note in this that is just intoxicating and utterly gorgeous and gives me hope that stunning frags can perhaps battle it out in the mass market. I remain quite puzzled as to why I love this....clearly the vague shampoo in a hot shower sensual feeling is deliberate and the persistence is long and very disquieting. The crystal eyed son of a Russian oligarch is waiting downstairs after we met at the ski lift and I guess I have to blind buy the last one in the series....umm city of sin...yeah

this is so pretty! i don't understand all the bad reviews, i've sampled this numerous times and i'm so in love with this perfume. it's sweet, without being that cloyingly hyper-realistic sweet (which i know some people dislike). this is juicy, sweet, feminine, seductive, everything i love!! perfectly ripened fruits, drizzled in honey with a dusting of cinnamon ontop. the warm honey-vanilla base makes this sooo delicious, i'd fall in love with anyone that wore this! the rose note too omg !! so jammy, pairs perfectly with the peach & honey note. so creamy and sexy, i cant wait to get a full bottle <3

I don't get all the bad reviews. It's the best perfume I've ever smelled in my entire life. It's not candy/sugar sweet, it is juicy. Ripe delicious fruits drizzled with honey. It is feminine, kind, seductive. Some people say it smells like J'adore, it's simply not true. Yes, it has the same softness, but that's where it ends. I've smelled almost every perfume under the sun recommended here to find a dupe for Forbidden Games as it's so expensive and I can't afford a full bottle. Nothing comes close. This scent would be my signature if it was within my budget.

my first kilian perfume and full bottle purchase ever. nothing smells like this at all. it is fruity and fresh and very sweet but not in a way that's sugary or too intense. the floral notes play so well with the peach note to the degree where you can't really discern which it which. i see a lot of other comments saying this is a clean peach, sure, but this is nothing like other clean peach scents you've ever smelled. i think this gets better over time and has amazing longevity. this fragrance has my heart

This is a very well blended fragrance,a combination of delicious fruits(not synthetic or sharp)soft florals,some spices in a warm honey-vanilla base Not a unique,strange scent but I love how it smells on me,it's delicious but not in a cake or candy way,it's a dessert made by honeyed,spiced ripe fruits,florals stand quietly in background This sweet,creamy,yummy blend smells so sexy in a modern,youthful way Versatile,wearable and long-lasting ❤❤❤❤❤

Oh, how I love this! I hoarded my samples, time to get more. If I could afford a FB, this would be my signature frag. I feel the name is misleading...on me, it's young, fresh, totally innocent, without being overly sweet. It's a "my skin, only better" frag. Not at all typical of the current crop of fruity floral gourmands. Good sillage, great longevity, and just gets better and better throughout the day. My favorite!

After testing this scent over months, I decided to bite the bullet and buy it. I AM SO HAPPY! If I could become a fruit scent, it would be a peach. This is like a wonderful fruit salad on my skin, but in a yummy way, not strange. I'm just sorry I waited so long and don't have much time left to wear it before fall comes. I have something to look forward to next summer.

Love this one , to me forbidden games smells clean and creamy. Like a shampoo with an apple and peach note. I always get compliments when I wear it. Narcotic , creamy fruity , delicious. It’s quite long lasting and I prefer the dry down even more I get wiffs of clean skin with fruity undertones ,or it smells like shampooed fresh hair but better.

this was my first perfume of kilian this is the culprit that I became a faithful addict to his fragrances however it is not my favorite it's a well-made perfume that screams quality in its ingredients and I like it of projection and duration are moderate suitable for autumn and winter in the day very feminine and elegant

Just beautiful!!!!!! Sweet, fluffy delight. An angel falls in love with humans. A very interesting shining, fruity miracle. The composition is a unique interpretation of fulfilled love. The victory of the heart over intellect. The drydown is cool vanilla; the touch of an angel.

I did not love this at first but it has grown on me drastically. I love to wear this layered with Van Cleef & Arpels Bois Dore. Together they breathe life. So sexy and femme - I can't believe how good this is! Its the honey for me. It smells sticky and sweet. Love this one

A fruit plate of apple, peaches, and plums being covered in golden honey next to a Bouqet of roses. Sweet florals, sweet fruit, just sweet. It’s fresh, semi syrupy, and so good. A perfect sprint scent honestly.

I dont like By Killian since its been bought by Estee Lauder. I used to love this perfume so much - the only fruity sweet perfume I ever liked - but I don't support this brand any longer.
