Princess Eau Fraîche

Princess eau fraîche is just a beautiful spring/summertime scent. If you love the original version of Princess, and you love bergamot, there is really no way you can go wrong with this scent. The addition of the bergamot along with the note of sweet candy ginger together make this a unisex scent, so gentlemen don't be afraid to add this scent to your fragrance library. Princess eau fraiche is refreshing and bright upon first blast and then the sweet marshmallow and candied ginger appear once the fragrance settles. It is a beautiful fragrance and will allow the wearer to be enveloped in a perfect scent for the summer. My only complaint is this fragrance has a commonality with many other freshies because it doesn't last very long. I will be walking with my bottle because this is just too good to just let fade off into nothingness.

This perfume is wonderful. I’m surprised this isn’t getting more love but if you’re expecting a close sibling to the EDP then this will be a disappointment. It’s a very good fragrance but the opening and heart are totally different than the OG. This one is bright and citrusy. Perfect for a hot day or the office. The ginger adds just enough spice and the marshmallow makes the dry drown so sweet and delicious. I work in an office and although I love Killian fragrances sometimes they are a bit much for every day. Not this lady though. She’s perfect. Since this is an eau fraiche you might have to spray a little more to smell her all day but not to worry, this is priced accordingly. I got my bottle for $100 from Sephora so I can overspray to my heart’s content.

This is so delicious - I would never have even considered it based on the notes, but it's incredible. Unfortunately, I agree that it disappears quite quickly, but I'm keen to test it out as it may just be that we're all going nose blind to the smell. It's so fresh, zesty, but still has the creamy marshmallowy-ness of the original, just much brighter. It reminds me a lot of what I love about Soft Spot by Phlur - they're like close siblings with the zingy bergamot top, and about the same price actually so if you like that, you'd like this. Both seem to be skin scents. I'd happily wear this in any season, but I especially think it will be radiant in Summer.

This is a mix of Mugler Alien Eau Extraordinaire and Kilian Princess. I bought it for my 11-year-old daughter, who loves the black bottle Princess, but hate this one. Not a childish scent, so I'll use it. Lasts a really long time, at least 10 hours, and it has just as much sillage as the black Princess. I think the white bottle and the eau Fraîche are misleading, the perfume is so not fresh and not innocent. I'm not in the princess age group anymore, and this suits me better than the original black bottle. Might be most beautiful in the fall and spring, not fresh enough in the summer heat. This is also Eau de Parfum.

I’m surprised to see so much negative feedback on this fragrance. I really love it, it is fresher zestier version of the Princess, not sure why some can’t smell the same sweetness from original Princess. I definitely get why people say it’s unisex but I don’t think it’s in the bad way. I enjoy the bergamote freshness with tea note, to me it gives out as neroli even though it’s not listed. In fact this how I would describe it as sugared neroli, I think it’s amazing in the heat. Love it and will keep it.

Um, hello? It's Killian. It's therefore fucking amazing. I don't know what you silly people are talking about. This is far from masculine. It's basically the OG Princess but iced. It's Princess Sorbet. It's achingly sweet. Very fruity, sexy, warm yet cold. Like a sundae. It's a sexy floral fruity ice cream sundae with hot marshmallow creme. I'm actually craving Dairy Queen while wearing this. It's incredible.

I love the OG Princess and I also love this. For the summer it’s such a refreshing take on the original. You must love citrus and tea scents to love this. The bergamot takes center stage when first sprayed but the dry down brings a soft ginger tea with a dusting of marshmallow. I just wish it lasted longer but other than that I really enjoy the fresh take on Princess.

Citrusy marshmallow and green tea with a sprinkling of ginger. It’s a lighter, fresher take on the OG and I’m digging it! I think this would wear beautifully in the warmer months. Happy to have this refreshing and zesty take of Princess in my collection!

This is very citrus forward upon first spray, almost on the verge of coming across as after shave - which is why I marked it as unisex. After a few moments that does subside, and you get some of the warmth from the OG. I then smell some of the green tea coming in... but very green, with a bit of spice from the ginger, and a very slight sweetness from the marshmallow rounding things out. I will say this is much less sweet than the OG and it sits much closer to the skin. While the OG smells like a warm and yummy matcha latte, this one is more like an iced lemon green tea. Something about the freshness mixed with the sweetness reminds me of Kayali’s Pistachio Yum - but even that is sweeter than this. Definitely don’t recommend as a blind buy just because you like the OG. This one needs to be tested in person. I almost feel like this one will be like better by people that didn’t like the OG since it’s soo much less sweeter.

Very different from the original version of this fragrance. The original smells very much like green tea powder to me with a hint of marshmallow, but it does not have that powdery and doughy quality I would want from a marshmallow note in a perfume. This one seemed like exactly what I wanted from the original in the bottle, but once spraying on the skin the bergamot took over, it still has greenness and earthiness from the green tea, but only a light undertone of it. The marshmallow note is simply an airy sugar note, which is not bad. This is a citrusy fresh fragrance overall, but a little bit more unique than other once in this realm from designer brands. I personally love layering this with "Delizia marshmallow" to get what I wanted from the original one, but with little bit of a fresh bergamot twist

I like it but it’s not what I was expecting. I get Bergamot for most of the wear before the creaminess comes in. This can come off unisex from the opening. Don’t expect this to be good for longevity or sillage because they’re not good. Im glad I got this for a good deal cause this is not worth the price that it is. If you’re into intimate / very soft, skin scents — sure, get this only if you can get it on sale. I’ll give this some points as it’s fresh, energizing but yet cozy. Great for situations where you’re not choking people out but you want to smell good. Great for summer / spring. Good for layering with similar scent profiles for boosting.

Princess is my signature scent and I have used about 4 bottles of it.. I don’t know what to think of this. It smells like a Chanel DNA and citrus, almost identical to Chance eau fraiche.. I wish this had that soft powdered marshmallow note but it really doesn’t. I wanted to love this but for now it’s just a like unfortunately. Ended up returning. It was far too citrus on my skin. I haven’t had to return a fragrance in a while but this just wasn’t good. Should have been a touch more marshmallow or even more of a tea note. All bergamot.

This perfume is so incredibly light and lasts max 30 minutes on skin. For this, I think it's way overpriced and if you're looking for something adjacent to the original Princess, I don't think this is the one for you. I don't smell any marshmallow to my nose at all, and I think it's a straightforward bergamot and green tea fragrance. It's fresh and light, and overall it is a good clean scent. However, I think the smell is pretty generic and you can get similar scent profiles for a much cheaper price.

At first spray this is a bright sparkling explosion of bergamot and citrus, as it settles I can sense the DNA of the OG Princess. While the tea and marshmallow are there they are a whisper in the drydown only. I honestly was hoping for more tea notes than I get, but this is very refreshing. Also to me this actually leans unisex, I think I am going to layer this with OG Princess to give it that bright kick I wish it had but with more of that sweet creamy dry down. It's a like but not a love.

A sweet, calm-like citrus that is fresh but not sharp. Kilian Princess eau fraiche smells like a brighter bergamot-lemon tea of the original Princess with less powdery marshmallow sweetness. The citruses are not sour to me though and are sweet in their own right, but very fresh. It smells amazing, instant love, but it disappeared in literally a few minutes. Was practically sticking my nose in to still smell. A shame. I actually like the smell of this better than the original Princess.

Initially I was pretty disappointed. I thought it would be more marshmallowy like the original. It's very heavy on the bergamot so the marshmallow is more in the background. It's really grown on me though since summer has come. It's really great in the hot weather when you're wanting Princess but feel like it's too heavy for hot weather. It's sweet, citrusy and uplifting!

Yaaaaasssss I love it! Bergamot (I like Bergamot) in the opening makes it almost a bit aquatic/watermelon. But quickly blends in with the other notes. The star is definitely Bergamot so if you hate that note pls stay away from this! I get maybe 20% of the original DNA. Happy to own a bottle! Also, this is not a strong one...really really bad performance.

I love the EDP of Princess but I love this version even more. Something about the combination of green tea & marshmallow makes me salivate. In comparison to the matcha & marshmallow in the original, this is much smoother and much more seamlessly blended. And the longevity isn’t horrible if you over spray lol.

I find the original princess pleasant but VERY sweet. For those who want more citrus, less marshmallow, this is great. The marshmallow is still present but very subdued. The bergamot is zesty, predominant, and a touch bitter. This leans entirely unisex and would probably be very refreshing in hot weather.

I have had this fragrance over one year. I found it to be fleeting. Recently I added 1/3 original Princess to 2/3 Fraiche. This is where it’s at. I live in a hot climate and find the original to be too heavy. I suppose you could just layer them but this makes it easier.

I like the citrus that cuts through the thickness that I get with the original. It makes it fresh and easier to wear. After a couple of hours, I don't get much ginger or tea. The marshmallow seems to be the base and remains fluffy and just slightly sweet.

I like the OG better, but this is still pretty. It has the DNA of the OG, but it’s much airier, more powdery, and the citrus note is the star. It’s lovely. I am very happy to have both as there will be times when I want something lighter.

To my nose it smells like a masculine freshie version of the OG. I like the twist to Princess, but I am not sure I would buy a whole bottle.The bergamot is the most present note. I wouldn't mind smelling this on my husband, lol

I don’t get much tea on skin. The bergamot comes through first and then the marshmallow follows to round it out with the finger to balance. It isn't as sweet as the OG and is very fresh.

This is very fresh and citrusy with a hint of sweetness. I wish the marshmallow was a bit more present. Hope it will get sweeter after a little while, but I already really like it!

Super fresh take on the original Princess. As a gourmand lover, the opening is a little bit too fresh for my liking due to the blast of bergamot, but after 15min you can identify the original princess DNA, with the combinaison of ginger, marshmallow and green tea. The performance is moderate and it's not a super loud perfume, pleasant for hotter days. I also agree with the reviewer below, Princess Eau Fraîche can be unisex, as the sweetness is really toned down. Anyone for who the OG was way too sweet, will love the Eau Fraiche version and any freshie lovers as well.

A Princess it is not! No offense to those who love this one, I do not mean this as an attack. I am merely describing what this does on my skin. I would have expected a balance between the citrus, tea and marshmallow notes but this isn’t at all. The citrus note takes center stage leaving no room for that wonderful tea note (or the marshmallow) to bloom. I am quite disappointed and this will definitely not be something I reach for 🙁

Is ok not a love ...I will layer it with the OG to lighten it up .. I don't get much marshmallow or ginger ..mostly bergamot. I hope they come out with an intense version of Princess soon

Oh hello no, smells nothing like original. I could mistake this for Chance Eau Fraiche (the green one) if I smelled it in the wild.

Dry down was a disappointingly smelling spice potpourri

A lighter version of princess with zero staying power. Lasts 15 mins max. Shame on the company! Kilian princess is an all time fave of mine so I am very disappointed in this version it has so much potential .

This is a soft, fresh, and slightly sweet fragrance. At first sniff my immediate reaction was that this reminds me of a scent from the 90s - CK One. My next closest comparison is Imagination by Louis Vuitton which is marketed as a mens scent but I would argue is more unisex. I layered this with Fenty Cinnamon Butter Drop lotion as recommended by J. Hill, and let me tell you...it’s absolutely amazing! Highly recommend. I dislike the original Princess and find it cloying. I have no negative reaction to this version at all. I find it quite pleasant to wear.

I have had a bit of a journey with this fragrance. I ordered a bottle a while back since I do enjoy the original Princess, and I thought this could be fun. But Sephora shipped out the original Princess instead, so I returned it unopened. I finally managed to get my hands on a decant to see if it was worth the splurge, and I like it. Close to the original but the citrus adds enough to cut the sweet a bit. Lovely and fresh with the sweet marshmallow kick. It looks like I am going to be placing another order.

I just got this because I am obsessed with the original Princess and can’t put it down. I thought the addition of only bergamot wouldn’t change the scent that much but it does. It very very citrusy (reminds me of Light Blue) and I can barely smell the marshmallow. Also the lasting power is even weaker on this one. I will not repurchase but I will use my bottle this summer, I’ll stick to the original princess. There is nothing better out there.

Princess Eau Fraîche, by Kilian, smells like bergamot, green tea and a hint of marshmallows. It has nothing to do with Princess by Kilian, or the discontinued Princess that we had before the one they sell now. If I had to compare it to a fragrance, Princess Eau Fraîche reminds me of Thé Yulong by Giorgio Armani. Unfortunately, like in any tea fragrance where there is bergamot, the bergamot overshadows the delicate notes of tea.

I love citrus, tea, and ginger and was eager to try this as the original is much too cloying on my skin but my husband likes the way it smells. On my skin, the citrus tea lasts about 15 minutes and is super refreshing, but then resumes as being nearly identical to the original on my skin. Good projection and long lasting but gave me a headache.

Smells really generic and I didn't get ANY princess DNA at all, very disappointing. I agree also with the others that it smells unisex. If I was blindfolded and told to smell this I would not even recognize that it's Kilian. There really is nothing unique about this scent :(

This is getting returned. Blind bought because I love original Princess. This reminds me of D&G Pour Femme Intense with bergamot added to it. It's fine, but not good enough to keep. I have other freshies and other marshmallow scents I like more.

I don’t get much of the original dna in this. It’s like 75% citrus (bergamot) and maybe 25% original dna. It’s not really sweet at all due to it not having the vanilla that’s in the original. It’s definitely fresh, but maybe too fresh...

I really liked it!! It's not as citrusy as I was afraid it could be. It has DNA of the OG though. Maybe a little less ginger, of course not as sweet. It becomes sweeter in the dry down for sure! Do I want a FB? YES!!!

I tried so hard to like this version eau fraiche.. My signature perfume is Princess classic version, and I am in love with it so much, but that one eau fraiche is too citrusy for me, too masculine scent.. :(

This has quickly become one of my fav summer scents. Always a compliment getter, understated and unobtrusive. Layers well with Kayali Yum Pistachio and M. Micallef Ylang in Gold.

I prefer it to the original, and for more depth and sweetness, it layers beautifully with Bianco Latte.
