Miss Byblos

Spicy at the initial spray Then turns to vanilla powdery scent in the drydown Overall it’s light not a powerful scent but still noticeable and the longevity is decent although it’s fairly cheap I love it because it’s a gift from my hubby and he absolutely adores it specially in intimate times😉

So bought this one about months ago. I do like this one very suitable for daily / working giving out that professional kind of scent. Many of my friends complimented how nice I smell whenever I put this one on. It smell even better on fabric and much more lasting.

I bought this perfume because I was running out of perfume. I was using Lovely by SJP and Believe by Britney Spears and both were running out. Since it was the end of the month, I didn't have that much money to buy the perfume but then I saw this perfume on sale. I sampled it and I didn't really like it that much at first, but I thought ''why not'' since it wasn't that bad plus it was on sale so the price went down to $35. I only started like it when I've used half of the bottle. I was about to laundry my shirt when I really smell the perfume and it actually smells nice on my clothes. On my skin, it smells too citrusy for my liking and if I spray too much of it, I often get dizzy. But when I smelled it from my shirt, the scent is a lot softer and it settles well on the fabric. It smells delicate and sweet at the same time, but not too sweet. The longevity is not that bad too. It stays for 4 hours on my skin but a lot longer on fabric. Overall, this perfume is quite good and I might go for a second bottle after I'm out of this one.

I like Miss Byblos a lot. One of few scents with Patchouli that I don't react allergic to. Fresh Patchouli, Pink Pepper, Musk, Mandarin- mix. Its a bit sweet but not girly sweet. After a while I also get an gentle aura of white flowers. Lily-on-the-valley is not showing up on my skin and I'm happy for that, to me that is a tricky flowernote. On my skin Miss Byblos stays about 4-5 hours, very nice for spring/fall. The amber gives a warm touch but its not dominant.
