Yes I Am Delicious

I got to try this the other day and while I normally would never go for something SO chocolatey, I can’t wait to buy it! I have the red and purple and want to collect all of them, and this smells so beautiful to wear in the late fall/early winter maybe, maybe Xmas outings, things like that. I’m not sure how it would wear for several hours either because I had it on my shirt and I then I ended up spraying other things on my skin so I couldn’t tell later on what was what. But let me tel you this...if you 1) LOVE the smell of chocolate fragrances on yourself than BUY THIS, it’s not expensive, it’s got a beautiful bottle and it’s nice! 2) if you want a nice smelling chocolate fragrance that you aren’t sure how much you would wear it-still get it because it’s not expensive it smells good, so yummy and again the bottle! If it was ridiculously priced I couldn’t justify it personally but I’ll be getting this!!! So nice for sow thing so out of my usual league!

Wow I just sprayed this while at SDM. It starts very beautifully (after the first typical alcohol blast). Dry cacao chocolate. Just perfect. I left the store and no more than 30 minutes, it’s already a faint smell. So so sad. I wanted this perfume to stay way longer. First few minutes are exquisite. Then, the dry down smells almost how Black Opium lingers on your clothes the day after you wore it. This perfume had SO much potential. The opening is almost like Angel Muse. But make it more wearable, without choking everyones around. Anyway, I will (still) buy a full bottle. BUT, I’ll wait to find it somewhere on a discounted rack, even maybe on the 19,99 shelf at SDM no way I’ll pay full price for a scent that stays 20 minutes on my skin even if it’s the best 20 minutes 🤣

This one is good! I smell dry chocolate almost immediately, then after a bit I get coffee??? It sounds weird, but I’m here for it! After that it starts to smell similar to the original. Warm and cozy, perfect for fall and winter. I’m not sure about longevity yet, but I wouldn’t mind respraying for that coffee smell again. I have the OG, pink first, and now delicious. I really love these. I know people say the bottles are tacky, but I love them, maybe I’m a little tacky too, who knows, but I’m def going to keep my eyes peeled for a good deal on the others to complete my tacky set!

This perfume you'll either love it or hate it. I'm really into gourmand scents and this one is perfect for me. The first splash has a sweet and strong scent of chocolate then you can feel the citrus in it. Throughout the day you'll feel the citrus and woody notes combined with a soft vanilla, it's delicious! Doesn't last as long as I'd like to, but if you spray it on your clothes, the scent will last for a while. Wore this to our Christmas dinner and everyone kept complimenting it, just wish the bottle looked different.

I bought this blindly just because I’m into gourmand sweet scents and I love it, it does have a synthetic chocolate smell at the beginning (which didn’t bother me) but it transforms into a beautiful complex scent in my skin where the orange and jasmine shows up , i adore it, BUT sadly the longevity is so weak , it’s a bit disappointing and i already know it will go so fast because I’ll keep applying it so often since i love the smell.

Delicious cacao/chocolate note. Not complex, but it simply smells like chocolate. One of the best cacao scents I've ever tried. Sadly, this fragrance's biggest flaw is its longevity. It's incredibly weak, not even an hour. A pity, because it is a cute gourmand and it’s delicious! The hazelnut makes this feel as a fall scent, super cozy.

It's CHOCOLATE. That's it! you want delicious chocolate as perfume? Wear this! I'm sure if Willy Wonka was real, this would be his signature aroma. I believe it is for the gourmand enjoyes above all! You'll smell like chocolate after all, just be careful not to take a bite lol!

Yes it smells like chocolate scratch and sniff stickers, and yes I like it like that!! So fun. Perfect in my world for a cute, enjoyable date night. No pressure, just yummy chocolate. You're not wearing this for sophistication, you're wearing this for a good time.

if you layer this with nebras then it smells like a halloween night and i am obsessed. ive had this perfume for a couple years and have intermittently used it but this combo has me sniffing my wrist every 30 secs lol

I just got this scent and I love it! It almost has a tea scent (?) that cuts through the sweetness from the chocolate. I love this for a Fall/winter scent and is nice for date night for something different!

This is a like for me, maybe love and was sold at an unbeatable price at Macy's. (Not to mention I love brown lipstick's aesthetic.) I very much adore the original Yes I Am (red lipstick) for its similarity to Juicy Couture scents in a way. Original Yes I am has fruit-punch like top notes, a bright happy orange flower heart and creamy spicy base. It is a gorgeous versatile scent for anywhere in my opinion, taking elements of previous fragranes and creating something special. Back to this flanker. At first spray, the initial blast of Yes I Am Delicious indeed is like a Tootsie Roll. It gave me some sweet nostalgic memories of chewing one at my grandmother's house. As it dried down, I was confused and disgusted because I smelled a too-earthy, almost "dirt" note (I love coffee and chocolate done right, otherwise they do this to me). It was reminiscent of the earthiness of original Black Opium and Illicit Green when they are worn in too-hot weather. I was ready to figure out a way to get rid of Yes I Am Delicious until I caught the drydown about 15-30 minutes later. Here it was, the gorgeous "spicy cremoso" drydown like the original Yes I am. Just take away the berries, have a bit of orange in there, with spiced vanilla and a dash of Nutella. At drydown, I recognize the Yes I Am DNA and am grateful to experience this marshmallowy spiced drydown, as if someone made a hot chocolate for me with spices and thick marshmallow fluff doled on top. It is cuddly, warm, and reminiscent of something from Bath and Body Works actually working on my skin chemistry, plus the gorgeous bottle. I like Comptoir Sud Pacifique Cacao Amor (sp?) And this is slightly more complex and spicy, which i like. If you guys like chocolate vanilla scents with spice, give this a try and wait for the drydown. It's so reasonable at Macy's! ETA: Some good chocolate-hazelnut alternatives to this, yes, can be Diesel Loverdose Red Kiss or Angel Muse, but they both have more earthiness. Red Kiss is a fruity candied hazelnut chocolate with a sexy amber trail, and its patchouli means it smells better in the winter IMO. Angel Muse is more realistic Nutella to me with vetiver (I think)? Both are lovely, but Yes I Am Delicious is nice when you want a fluffy rounded chocolate vanilla hazelnut spice fragrance rather than something with a very distinct earthy/woody edge. ETA: This is starting to get a tad bit cloying for me. Ah well. I will try it again when it gets colder.

The opening of this is so scrumptious. Dark chocolate and cacao, roasted hazelnuts, oranges and their blossoms. It smells like a delectable gourmet chocolate cake. Underneath that is a fruity-floral-vanilla blend that I have smelled a thousand times before. It reminds me quite a lot of Black Opium. Not that they are dupes, but this smells like it could be a new Black Opium flanker at times, with chocolate and orange instead of coffee and pear. I only get the smallest hint of the milky, spicy sweetness of the original Yes I Am. In the drydown the chocolate peeks through again, especially when the perfume arrives at its final skinscent stage. I love how the foody parts of this are done, but I could have done with less of the "perfumey" mid part. Not completely without it, then it would have become too gimmicky, just with less of it to make the nutty chocolate cake notes shine. Nevertheless I think this is a nicely crafted mainstream gourmand. The Yes I Am line is much better than the disproportionate lipstick bottles look, that's for sure.

I'm a little surprised at how negative a lot of the comments are, but it's true that we are all different. I think this is quite nice. It's definitely more cocoa powder than true chocolate, with some orange and white flowers, grounded with just a touch of sandalwood. For a chocolate scent, I find it quite light and wearable for day and warmer weather. It's not super-sophisticated, but it's pretty and happy. It's doesn't bear a lot of resemblance to the original, but the DNA is in there. It's true that the chocolate note is a bit fleeting and the overall performance is just fair, but you can find this at very affordable prices and I think it's worth picking up. Edit: Almost a year and a half later and a funny thing happened. I didn't touch this for a long time and I just put some on on a whim. I couldn't get over that it was reminding me of something, Came to realize it's Burberry Goddess. Interesting!

I sprayed this one on one wrist and Avon Attraction Game on the other. What can I say? Despite the price point that is much cheaper for Avon and added Tonka beans, these fragrances are almost identical to me. After I did not get the chocolate that I was looking for in the “attraction game”, that opens quiet synthetic and accords on blackberries and tonka beans, I was hoping that “yes I am delicious” would substitute it for me with loads of mouth-watering chocolate, but it did not happen. In fact, I can smell a lot of cardamom, hazelnuts covered in caramel/cacao syrup and some shy orange juice. This does not give me the delicious sweet expensive Swiss chocolate-style aroma I was looking for. The lasting power makes you put this bottle in your purse and refresh it just before you want someone to notice it. Like a nude lipstick that lasts 30 minutes max. Unfortunately.

It's just ok. I got a 4 or 5 ml dab on sample bottle. Had to ship it from overseas as it's still not available here in Australia. That's damn frustrating as it's been available overseas for a year or so now, and they've released at least one other flanker since this version. Guessing we wont see that for the next 12 months either. 🤬 It definately has a touch of chocolate to start with. That fades quickly though and overall I was lucky to get maybe an hour of definate scent out of it before it virtually disappeared. I did think of a watered down version of Chocolate Queen by Navitus (which I own) initially. VERY watered down. I'll only he buying the 30ml bottle as I have all the others in this range and like the tacky bottles 🤣 and want to continue my collection. Just wish they'd get off their arses and ship it here. 🤬

I am unfortunately a bit disappointed with this fragrance. It sounded like the perfect scent. However, what I get is a fresh green/white floral aroma with a burst of orange in the opening. This lasts for just about 20 minutes. Once the perfume dries down, the scent becomes sweeter but remains dry. Then comes a distinct aroma of cocoa powder. Not the cocoa powder used for mixing with milk, but the kind used for baking. Dry and somewhat dull. You might faintly detect some nuts and cardamom, but it is definitely not a gourmand fragrance of the caliber I had hoped for. Nonetheless, I still really like the scent. However, the longevity is really poor as well. Maximum 4 hours, and then it's gone. All in all: an okay fragrant perfume that is more orange and green in scent than sweet and edible.

Okay just got this, it’s been on my hand for about 10-15 minutes. I’m 20 and I really like it so does my sister (of similar age). On her it’s warm and sweet so far, on me it’s bright and sweet. I can smell a dry cocoa in the background, I can smell what I feel like is a nicely blended jasmine. The fragrance it reminds me of is Jimmy choo I want choo forever, not because they smell the same but because of their properties being similar. JC IWYF is bright, well blended in the fruit nut and florals, this is the same in terms of the fruit, nut and florals. This is something I like, we both sprayed once on our hands and I feel like it’s inoffensive. I might buy Al rehab French coffee in oil form and wear these two in unison. I might update when I’ve worn it out for a day.

I have been wearing this scent the whole autumn, mostly for days off work or as a sweet after work&shower scent. I find it absolutely delicious! Sweet, nutty, chocolately bliss. Perfect for cool weather. It has great longevity, - I can still smell it in the morning after having sprayed it in the evening. For good projection you'll need some extra sprays on clothing, but I don't mind, since I wear it for my own pleasure and it creates a scent bubble for the wearer that lasts. I heard someone compared it to Black Opium, but no, I wouldn't agree, - this one is more spicy and has a better longevity. True value for money for nutty chocolate lovers! (Pun not intended ,-))

I am NOT getting all the hate-?! This is a really nice, mild, chocolate scent with a hint of floral orange, ? It does not smell the least bit synthetic to me (believe me, I KNOW synthetic- I've got some Demeter scents). As well, it really isn't super heavy on the cocoa/chocolate; it's really just a bit of a 'whiff' alongside other notes. It isn't super complex, but it is absolutely NOT just a blast of fake chocolate! As well, the 'cocoa' fades fairly quickly (which I am bummed about, since I like the scent) and just ends up being a personal/skin smell). Bottom line- if you like chocolate, I think this is a GREAT, inexpensive one to get!

Delicious starts with an almost obnoxious chocolate note that I was not really onboard with but it does calm down within a few minutes. Then you begin to get that familiar Yes note that runs through all the flankers I've tried. You really need to give this time to settle and then it's quite nice but also quite similar to the original. If you have the original already, this may be redundant unless you collect them. Sillage is huge in the first half hour, then it tones right down to almost a skin scent. It's gone in about 3-4 hours so not amazing performance. It's a lovely sweet scent but I would wait for it to come down in price.

I think I just have to accept that some smells will never be perfectly recreated in a perfume form. The chocolate is there but only in the opening and it takes the form of a really cheap and chewy chocolate-flavoured candy, including the plastic wrapper. I don't mean it in a bad way because it can definitely be a mood! But I'm never in the mood. :( I think the time and place would be Halloween trick-or-treating, but I'm not from the US. It dries down to a smell that is very similar to the original Yes I am. It's good but I just never wore it so I sold it. The longevity was abysmal.

This flanker smells like the original Yes I Am overlayed with rich, nutty cacao. In fact, smelling my sample now of the first Yes I Am perfume leaves me feeling totally underwhelmed. The lasting power isn’t great but my cheapie set came with a travel spray so I don’t mind re-spraying. This is a delicious Autumn/Winter scent that’s a cozy gourmand but can be worn out as well. They’re not too similar but if you like Chocolate Greedy by Montale or Angel Muse by Mugler you will probably enjoy Yes I Am Delicious.

This smells really good ~ Cocoa White Floral. This is my way of toe dipping into White florals during the fall/winter. Office friendly; besides if they don't like your fragrance - it will wear off by lunch. The chocolate and white floral create a nice creamy fragrance without being too gourmand or blatantly floral. This is equivalent to a Taco Bell / KFC restaurant - a little something to please everyone while filling your needs and wants. :) VERY NICE rated confidence booster "the lipstick effect"

Ouuu I actually like this better than the original one. It really shines in the cold. Because it’s such a comforting scent that matches the dry atmosphere of the winter. It’s not a creamy chocolate though!!! It’s actually a dry cocoa powder type of scent, with a HEAVY orange 🍊 presence. I don’t really like citrusy scents, but I think it’s well balanced in this fragrance. Oh and it doesn’t have that spicy scent most chocolate perfumes have, so i really like it. 🍫🍊

Oh, my! What a wonderful surprise! I wasn't expecting this! This is the scent of a bar of milk chocolate, which can be worn as a perfume! I mostly detect chocolate and hazelnuts. It's warm and cozy, perfect as an everyday gourmand scent for the colder seasons. The longevity is great, especially when the perfume is sprayed on clothes. The sillage is decent, too. It won't fill the room, but it will be pleasantly noticeable. I like it a lot! Absolutely delicious!

For now best cheap chocolate perfume I could ever suggest, BUT.. BIG BUT... not lasting at all. People only notice it on me the moment I put it on and after some minutes, later on no comment at all from others and I myself don't feel anything again. It's quite cheap and fits goodly in bag, so You can re-applicate it again with no worries. YET, I'd suggest looking for better alternatives, only if You want smth cheap then this one is for You:)

This is in the same family of scents similar to Black Opium. This smells more like a Mocha and less like a full bodied chocolate. I don't pick up the cardamon, and the orange blossom adds a little bit too much fizz which contributes to that fluorescent note! But I am being too picky. This is a nice fragrance that you can spray liberally given how little it costs and is much better than some of the more expensive scents I have purchased. 7/10

I’m agree with another person, you have to let it macerate. I hated it when I first got it, overly cloying and sweet, synthetic chocolate. But I left it for about a year, forgot about it really, then tried it again. Now I can really smell the warm spicy hazelnut on opening and the orange. It’s lovely, definitely an Autumn Winter fragrance, so I’m looking forward to using more often later in the year. It has a reprieve.

I blind bought this just based on the notes, and it is beautiful. Very pretty fall vibes. Not the best performance, but the chocolate note is absolutely delicious. It reminds me of dark cacao powder, yet still maintains a hint of sweetness. EDIT: I did declutter this one because it just doesn't last :( I'm so sad. I will miss it, but I just hate that the cacao and hazelnut notes disappear after an hour.

I can see why people don’t particularly like this scent as it’s not a velvety dark chocolate scent you’d expect from a gourmand fragrance. The dry down is really noticeable, going from a nutty almost coffee-like scent to something more floral and woody, with hint of cocoa powder rather than chocolate people are expecting. I find this really comforting, it’s a fragrance I’d wear on a night out.

This is a chameleon. It has to be at least in the 50s to work. I hadn’t worn it for months and last I tried it in the spring, it was bothering me. I wore it today and loved it again. A younger guy even complimented me and asked if it was ysl libre🤷🏻♀️ It doesn’t have the best longevity but for the price, who cares. It smells somewhat original but stay away in warm weather.

For gourmand lovers. For fall and winter, for sure! I can smell Nutella with the original Yes I am (raspberry, gardenia and a strong caramel note). It is not dark chocolat to my nose; more a milk chocolat with caramel, raspberry, and flowers. At the top, I can smell orange blossom for few minutes. 7/10

Not a gourmand. This is white floral w cococa. If you don't like white floral - don't buy. Here is a little tip - if there is a an adjective before a base note it probably wont smell similar to what you're familiar; for instance - Indian Jasmine, Green Mandarin, Dark Chocolate. I enjoy this fragrance.

Beautiful but SO WEAK! Argh! It’s gone in 20 minutes. And I’m usually tolerant of fleeting scents. What a pity because it’s otherwise a really beautiful cocoa perfume. These disappearing fragrances become my bedtime scents. By they’ve disappeared I’m asleep.

I’ve never liked chocolate fragrances on myself but wow, this one is so light and blends with the skin nicely. I wish it lasted longer though, still one of my summer favourites but I do recommend mostly for younger users.

Nice gourmand edible kinda scent that works great for nights out. Smells like a straight up dark chocolate & orange cake. Despite it not having great longevity I love it’s uniqueness and cool bottle.

This is very sweet. I wouldn’t recommend for anyone looking for a deep or bitter cacao scent. I would best describe this as See’s candy chocolate with fruit filling.

Fantastic, rich chocolate fragrance, with notes of orange, vanilla and hazelnut. I find two sprays behind the ears last all day. Terrific payoff for the price point.

To me this smells like the original yes I am but with a bit of cacao. I like it for layed back days at home or even at the gym. Longevity is not very good. 6.5/10

I can get where all the bad reviews are coming from, because to me the opening smells like chocolate soap. Not tasty edible chocolate, just soapy chocolate that doesn't really smell like chocolate. Just the opening, right? It's sweet, it's floral, but it ain't that chocolate-y. After a good 10-20 minutes, it smells like MOCHA, which to me is FANTASTIC. Having Yes I am Delicious on my one wrist and Black Opium on the other, they do smell very similar, however Yes I am Delicious is far more lighter as a scent and not as sweet and heavy, which is perfect for me. Think of it as its chocolate scented little sister. The reason I do not like Black Opium is its heavy sweetness. I think this is the perfect balance between sweet gourmand and floral. Imagine a creamy mocha drink with a nice light sugary orange scent. This scent, is in fact delicious as described, you just gotta wait for it to dry down. Bottle is very cute and it exceeds my expectations for the price that I got it for. Very nice, affordable perfume. Probably one of the best I've ever encountered, a nice, light and powdery gourmand vanilla-like chocolate that's not cloying or sickeningly sweet nor headache inducing (I'm looking at you Mod Vanilla and Eilish no 1) and I'd say it's perfect for both daytime and nighttime opposed to Black Opium which is strictly for nighttime only. Also a great and cheap alternative for it too! Longevity wise I think it's awesome, really close to Black Opium. Edit: I changed my mind. This is hot trash. It no longer smells good to me, it smells like the cheapest perfume in existence and now I gag upon spraying it because I get very confused when spraying it. I really tried to like this, but I can't. Disappointing purchase, collect your money and buy something more expensive that's actually going to last. Unless you want the bottle... The bottle is cute.

Perfume take on chocolate subject. Today I feel orange blossom the most and musk. It is not really a gourmand. It is not sweet. The floral nuances overwhelm the chocolate and hazelnut notes. I always perceive something dusty in it, too. With time it intensifies, gets orange tones and becomes prettier. It develops on me into Hypnose direction nearly. I am not sure I like it because of the dusty notes but it does have a certain charm. It started to sound like Grand Marnier - orange liquor on me. This phase I enjoy. It lingers till morning and in last phase it is close to Black Opium drydown. It just stopped smelling like chocolate after an hour which one might welcome as the start is a bit synthetic.

Starts very chocolate & hazel cream - turns synthetic rather fast though it is not bad and covers an abstact floral. Thats the start during spring. Summer test - nothing has changed - the composition seems unfinished. Finally during autumn it is beautiful. The chocolate is vivid even melted but it turns into orange blossom and jasmine quite fast. With my nose to my wrist it still does have the passing, synthetic feel. But experienced globally it does not. Hints of cocoa and dark chocolate linger long with a bit of orange. But the heart is a lovely, feminine floral. And the creamy sandalwood finishes it off. The chocolate notes intertwine with hazel. It will be too light for winter.

This bottle literally fell on my lap as a freebie. I am not into gourmand perfumes, my gourmand tendencies do not go far beyond vanilla. This frag would have been an excellent lush gourmand, if its chocolate/hazelnut/coconut phase lasted more than first 10 seconds. Then it becomes a jasmine/orange blossome sirop for 10 min or so. Then vanilla emerges and it becomes a dupe of the excellent Yves Rocher's discontinued Vanille Noir. For an hour. And that is all. I placed it in the kitchen and will spray on my curtains, apron and towels, in the hope that it would make a cosy lasting room scent.

To me it smells like a tootsie pop right before you bite into the tootsie part. There’s just a little lollipop left kissing the the core giving off a sweetened “ candied” fruit undertone with a creamy chocolate like scent that I can only place as a cherry/ orange tootsie lollipop I’m torn between this being a teen fad perfume or a seductive date night perfume. Personally I wouldn’t choose to smell like a lollipop but I imagine there may hold some interest out there. I do have to say I love the dry down of creamy cocoa coated flowers. Just wish it lasted longer.

I can smell hazelnuts and chocolate. This scent is sweety, but not sweet, with some bitterness from dark chocolate and cocoa. It starts from the hot chocolate and milk, then transitions to nuts. After about half an hour, the scent becomes more nutty. I would say, it's hazelnuts covered by chocolate. There's even a hint of tartness, probably cardamom. Longevity and sillage is good, I can smell this scent all day long, especially on clothes. It''s a good choice for every day, but not better than OG!

Sadly, you only get a vague chocolate wafer cookie smell upon first spraying. The perfume almost immediately turns into a sweet vanilla and orange blossom skin scent, with a hint of cardamom, for about an hour before dissipating completely. It's not a bad scent if you like sweet florals, but all of us who were expecting a yummy chocolate gourmand, based on the description and notes, are understandably disappointed.
