Yes I Am Fabulous

This is such a different perfume on your skin, than it is on a paper tester card. On the card it smelled almost like Lalique Soleil. Soleil has green almonds and milk, and Yes, I am Fabulous has hazelnuts and milk... so I guess there are slight similarities? But on my skin this is a very deep and different perfume. Heat activated, I get a deep strong blackberry. After a while the hazelnut starts to come through. I don't know if the blackberry gets lighter, or if the hazelnut starts to get stronger, but in the drydown the hazelnut starts to smell almost like a milky coffee. Incredibly beautiful. I am so glad I decided to try this on my skin before returning it. Instead, I am lying in bed, smelling luxurious, as I type this. If you are the type of person who can only wear fragrance on your clothes and in your hair, this is still a very pretty fragrance, but on your warm skin, it becomes something... seductive. Perfect for a date night. The bottle is adorable, but cheaply made. The gold rim lifts when I pull the protective clear lid off the lipstick top, and the box didn't have the normal extra layer of cardboard, that perfumes typically have. But I do love the deep purple fade glass bottle, and the fun lipstick sprayer. I recommend this if you like blackberry, creamy hazelnut, or creamy coffee scents.

🎀 I adore the original💄 Yes I Am perfume so I had to have this one too.💜 I blind bought off Ebay and although it smells great its more of a 🍇blackberry syrup verse fresh tart blackberries. Its reminds me of a more creamy powdery version of Poison which is a scent I never cared for however I can tolerate this perfume unlike the sickly sweet Poison. It also reminds me of Katy Perry PURR or 💐Very Sexy Orchid by Victoria's Secret but this one is sweeter. Its not as intoxicating on me as the original Yes I Am but I like it. I wish it were a tad bit 🍦creamer/ lactonic. This can be used sparingly because it goes on strong but I found I need to reapply every few hours for the scent to linger. This is a fun scent powdery syrupy blackberry. Gifting a girl in her 20s this scent would be a win. I like it very much. Three people said I smelled wonderful when I wore this yesterday. It is really pretty. 💜 I mixed the two together ( red cap and purple cap) and it actually smells pretty good maybe I'm onto something.❤❤❤❤💗🖤💗❤❤❤❤

The blackberry smells artificial, but good in a gourmand way—almost like an untoasted wildberry Pop-Tart. This has the smooth, creamy dna of the original Yes I Am, plus some tangy dark berry. Also almost feels like a lighter, daytime cousin to Jimmy Choo’s Fever, with the same “dark berry with heliotrope over a creamy base” vibe, but it’s milky instead of buttery and has blackberry instead of plum. I will update once I’ve experienced the dry down/longevity, but so far it’s a strong like (although I am not a fan of the bottle.) Update: It's mostly gone after 4 hours, but it becomes a milky, nutty skin scent at around hour two. I smell the hazelnut! Not like the sweet syrup for coffee most people probably think of first as the scent of hazlenut, more like the actual nut. Really nice, but too fleeting for me.

I’m sure I reviewed this before but I ordered a new one and it came today so I thought I would express my absolute love for this perfume ❤️ I’ve been looking for a winter time/colder months perfume to wear since the end of last summer because all of my collection is either fresh , citrus or fruity florals and typically those aren’t the best for winter so I happened to have found this a knock off website that sells identical note for note perfumes that literally are so inexpensive, I paid less than five dollars for this and it’s identical in note and smell. I love how fruity this is, while still being deep enough to be a cooler month fragrance, if you like to smel sweet and fruity this is by far one of my fav fruity sweet perfumes!

To me it's a like a milky woody berry smell. I get the hazelnut too that mixes with the woodsy notes. It's not very powerful in the sense that it doesn't project super far but my mom says she can smell me from far when I sprayed it in the first hour but after it dries down I'll say it's moderate to close to the skin. I get descent longevity around 5-6 hour Wich is good for me. Personally it's more a nightscent . Absolutely love it. Not my everyday scent tho :) but definitely one of my favorites .

I adore this fragrance. A beautiful creamy and nutty blackberry. Imagine a scoop of milky blackberry icecream with crushed hazelnuts on top. It's very yummy and jammy though nothing entirely ground breaking and i do get those generic vibes with this one. But all in all a beautiful scent and if you like blackberries and creamy perfumes you definitely can't go wrong with this one! I find I do actually get decent longevity from this one, a lot better than the original anyway :)

To me this begins really soapy, which is the heliotrope I think. It then starts to change as the milk and BlackBerry emerge, but this one isn't sweet at all! I like it. I will definitely play with it more and see if it's eventually a love. I'm liking it more each time I wear it. Certainly a different take on berries in my collection.

My only complaint is that this doesnt come in a bigger size. It is beautiful and starts off with that blackberry sweetness that dies down to a powdered hazelnut milk. I love the creaminess present in Cacharel perfumes. It is a 10 for me! One of the better flankers out of this line.

This is a nice and cozy gourmand, perfect for fall. I can get the blackberry and the heliotrope in a very creamy way, smooth and not too sweet. The 'pink' one and this version are my fav, for sure (I don't think there are hazelnuts in the formula... it's hazelnuts milk)

I really, really like this. Fruity, creamy, nutty deliciousness. It actually elevates the original to a whole new level. There’s added sophistication and it will become a favorite in my collection for sure.

The best flanker..All the listed notes are noticeable ... Fruity Milky beauty💕✨The initial spray is a bit strong , the dry down is pleasant and best for rainy weather and transition weather.

Very similar to Paco Rabanne Pure XS - I get the same popcorn 🍿 note in this, strangely Anyway Pure XS is cheaper so I don't need this one.

This is a very sexy scent . The men are crazy about it ... believe me , girls 🙂

Knock off for YSL Libre intense

I like this a lot. I only tried the Yes I Am Glorious flanker before trying this. I am huge into fruit, but I also love cardamom, cinnamon, and those types of spices. Even though it's summer, sometimes I crave a nice fruity floriental. At first spray, I notice a sharpness that would easily be too much if there was a touch more (ambroxan? Maybe the ginger flower? I have no idea). The best way I can describe it is it is similar to the sharp, fresh woodiness I find in many men's colognes. This can be tolerable to a degree, but too much makes me intensely dislike some fragrances (e.g. whatever is in Erba Pura). Because of this initial impression, I thought the Fabulous perfume should possibly be unisex. Thank goodness Fabulous calms down and becomes more feminine over the initial wear period of 15 minutes or so. The blackberry and heliotrope are noticeable and add a femme, powdery touch with no play-doh (woo!). It's sweet without being too sweet. Yummy milky cardamom comes around in the base, and this fragrance lasted a good 8+ hours on me like Good Girl Supreme. Most fragrances I own have obvious vanilla bases, but this one has only a kiss of vanilla to me in the drydown. I'm not sure if I smell hazelnut, as I do find this well-blended. I think the notes listed here are probably incomplete, and Fabulous probably has more DNA of the original Yes I Am and Pink First than the advertising lets on. I'm skipping Pink First, but I am so excited to try the original Yes I Am. To compare this to the Glorious flanker, Glorious is warm and somewhat woody with nice citrus/fruit and well-blended white florals. But it smells more like a room scent to me. Meanwhile, Fabulous smells like a sexy, fun, bold perfume meant for the skin. Do not wear this if you have a migraine/feel sick to your stomach, as it is strong!

dayana_didi is right: The whole 'Yes I Am' collection makes men go wild! Why? It's got that irresistible 'Viva La Juicy' DNA that, let's face it, is one of Honorine Blanc's signatures. 'Yes I Am Fabulous' reminds me most of 'Viva La Juicy Noir' due to the prominent, juicy berry opening, however 'Fabulous' has that classy Cacharel touch. First spray 'Fabulous' starts off with berry juice. I can't really pinpoint which fruits...it's definitely a mix! Instead of caramel like the VLJs the perfume gets more lactonic as it settles. Like a SCRUMPTIOUS berry milk! The nuttiness is the faintest note on me, I wish it was intense! However I can say I'm enjoying this FAR MORE than ANY of the VLJs :) & actually keeping it! Overall I feel 'Fabulous' is safest blind buy out of the 'Yes I Am' collection, and no doubt a complete crowd-pleaser. It's subtly seductive, playful, feminine and so uplifting with juicy berries! In addition 'Fabulous' has an edge of sophistication! If you own any of the 'Viva La Juicy's you can pass the entire 'Yes I Am' range (or vice versa!). Unless of course you want to :)

Fruity, slightly soapy and carefree. I like this. I really like this! I got a little sample of Yes I Am Fabulous, and I'd say the sillage is amazing. It definitely filled the room, and even now, an hour later, I can still smell it on my clothes and on my skin pretty strongly. It's a lovely, fruity bubblegum aroma with some depth and warm notes that's fun, playful and sexy. If I could describe it in a sentence, I'd say it smells like the colour purple, if that makes any sense at all. (And if colours had scents!) Opening blast is blackberry, a slightly soapy heliotrope before settling down into a vanillic milk mouse. I don't get much hazelnut personally, but it's there in the background somewhere. The blackberry and milk notes are most prominent for me and make for a fun, easy to wear fragrance that's sure to get compliments. It almost smells a little like a blackberry milkshake with a scoop of ice cream on top! Fabulous date night perfume. I vibe with this so much more than the original Yes I am. I want a bottle now!

Testing this really surprised me! It's much better than I thought as a fruity vanilla perfume. It is a bit generic in the sweetness itself, but it does have a unique "forest fruit" profile that must be the reason for the bottle's color choice, and it's not too sweet or overbearing in any way. Speaking of the bottle, the tester I used had some problems with the top part (which you obviously need to work consistently). Maybe it was mistreated, but still doesn't set a good example of build quality. The design is too extra for me, it's interesting because the perfume itself is so pleasing and delicious. The dry-down is faithful to the fruity sweetness, but loses a lot of complexity comparing to its opening.

Super sweet!! I love it but honestly can’t really say I smell any of the individual notes listed here. Just sweet goodness lol. I sprayed only 2 sprays on my shirt today and could smell it still through my mask. It seems to have moderate projection which is nice. It does sort of remind me a bit of the original, but I like this way more! Definitely better suited for these cold days ahead, so I can see myself using this a lot in the near future. UPDATE: it doesn’t last very long which is sad, but I did receive a compliment from my coworker saying I smelled really good! So that’s a plus. I can still smell it even though I sprayed it 4 hours ago, but it’s very light.

A blind buy based on my love of heliotrope and lactonic notes. This is a true gourmand through and through, but I do not find it sickly. It opens immediately with the blackberry, which I find jammy rather than tart- almost like blackberry preserves. Next, the powdery heliotrope peeks through, followed by the silky milk accord. The result is a delicious, creamy-berry scent. It is a bit synthetic to my nose, but for the price point and my expectations I can’t complain. This is pleasant gourmand that I will enjoy using in the fall and cooler evenings. Blackberry is not a note I see used much in perfumery, which makes this a unique addition to my collection.

I was curious and I try this at the drugstore. The smell of the opening is not too different from the original, overall I found it softer and less spicy. The first 1-2 hours I had good whiffs of it from time to time, the perfume gets rounder, less spicy sharp, more floral and woodier. The projection and longevity seems average poor on me, after 4-6 hours it's more of a sweet skin scent for the rest of the day, maybe it lasts longer on colder days. It's a nice sweet scent, not too overwhelming in my summer heatwave. The original is my go-to spicy sweet perfume and I like Fabulous, I would use it up easily if I have it, but I don't think I would buy it.

Good flanker! I like it even more than the original. Such wonderful blackberry, milk and hazelnut. More precise, it's a blackberry and hazelnut jam mixed in dense milk. Sometimes it reminds me of Scandal by Jean-Paul Gaultier. Not one hundred percent similar, but the style is the same. Fabulous is suitable for any time of the year. The sweetness is not cloying in the summer. Especially, it is great in the fresh air. The "blackberry" color of the bottle is very beautiful and reflects the "sense" of the scent. I have both, this one and OG. They're perfect!

I'm getting everything except that hazelnut really. Definitely get the tart blackberry which is great because I was worried it might be too sweet. But it's definitely not on me, just a nice bit of sweetness to temper the tart. Fresh tart blackberries with a hint of green, a light floral note from the heliotrope, drawing down to that comforting lactonic . Really enjoying this, wish the sillage and longevity were a bit longer, but overall it's lovely and especially good for spring and summer when I really like those juicy fresh scents.

On my skin, this is like a more tolerable Black Opium. Smells nice, but I’m not sure about the longevity. I sprayed only three times, but I kept getting some fruit-(almost) caramel whiffs during the day. It’s pretty much like dessert in a cute bottle. Very gourmand and sweet. I also smelled the hazelnuts clearly. It is nicely blended, nothing harsh here. I would say it’s balanced, not too fruity or floral. I love Cacharel 30 ml bottles, they are just the cutest. Even the bigger bottles are still small compared to other producers.

This is definitely heavy on the blackberry with a Milky nutty base, it's bittersweet at first spray then drys down to a warm sweet end also it last about a hour or two on the skin so not the best longevity but not a bad scent in all.- "Side note this smell's similar to valinteno Donna born in Roma to me even though they have totally different notes".

Maybe it reminds me of Good Girl? Or Schwarzkopf Fiber Therapy shampoo? But it's creamy rather than juicy, so I like it well enough. Could use some spice imo, but it's a nice, mainstream frag. If I had to pick an occasion, I'd probably wear this to bed (single, so just for sleeping). Yeah, I'd call this a shampoo gourmand.

A perfect fragrance for the post-holiday season — from January through early March. It’s a strong, sweet scent that might be a bit overwhelming for some, but undeniably delicious. The aroma lingers beautifully, with solid mid-to-long-lasting performance that makes it ideal for cold winter days/ evenings.

I get a creamy blackberry and floral scent. I don't get the hazelnut though. There's a bit of sharpness like I find with LVEB. It's a lighter sweet that would work fine even in the summer heat. It's nice, I like it, but I will stick with the original which is such a standout favourite of mine.

I get Blackberry and milk right away, then the heliotrope shows up , but I dont get the hazelnut. Overall it is a good fragance like an everyday fragance, I had to reaply after 3hours beacuse it stays close to skin.

Yes I am Fabulous is beautiful, soft and lactonic. Related to Girl of Now EDP but softer. Nutty, sweet and creamy. I over sprayed like crazy to get some performance. Must admit, a bit generic at the moment.

This is an addictive, very synthetic, grape milk scent with the YES I AM DNA in the background. It smells nice- I like it but it is super synthetic (im pretty sure, that is not a real super hero power)..

This milky nutty sweetness is really everything I want in a fragrance right now but honestly, I think I like My Only Wish La Rive better. It doesn’t last long at all, but you cannot beat the price.

It would be too sweet and fruity for me if it wasn't for the milkiness helping to tone it down. I like it. I feel like it might work in all seasons, but could be too much in the summer for daytime.

Original Yes I am is still the best from the range but Fabulous is nice, more of a daytime scent, not as sexy and long lasting as original one.

I also get a touch of anise which makes it very interesting to me, love it and the packaging is so cute, looks like a lipstick tube :)

Sweet and creamy, like a straight up blackberry milkshake. I appreciate it’s uniqueness, versatility and decent lasting power.

It does smell like Yes I am Pink First but more sour, more fruity, and it has that same intoxicating vibe of the OG Yes I Am, kinda like bubblegum, same vein, but Yes I Am is the queen, very attractive scent imo, more complete, not as juvenile as this version. When I first smelled Yes I Am (and the La Rive equivalent), I was mesmerized. Where is the hazelnut here? I am getting sour, sweet fruitiness from the blackberry like the BBW Winterberry Wonder's sour sweet berry note. It's nice but nothing dark here, nothing truly gourmand, and lots of dusty heliotrope on my skin. I am suspecting on other people this note doesnt smell like that. I had to shake the bottle hard and respray to get rid of the 'dusty' veil of it on my skin as if the perfume has gone bad. I don't have this problem with the other two that I love. I checked it on Checkfresh. 2020 is its date. Gone too soon? Anyway, upon shaking it and respraying, the dustiness kinda faded, but maybe it's the heliotrope not being compatible with my skin or my nose cuz I smell it from the sprayer too. I've had issues with this note in other perfumes, esp in To Be Rose Blossom Police, but the heliotrope in there is on the powdery side. So overall it kinda smells like a celeb perfume, there is nothing seductive here. I expected something darker like Misteriosa, or sweet, decadent like La Nuit Tresor Nude. I was hoping for an interesting twist, a heavier deeper note, some real nutty gourmand element. I even had hopes for that heliotrope. I needed something... something magical. It is quite flat, yes it is abit milky and fun, for summer especially, but if you have any of the other more successful perfumes in this line, you dont need this imo. Bought it for the hazelnut and the blackberry cuz I love berries, blackberries etc. Will keep for the bottle. I love purple and the traditional lipstick look of the entire collection, my mom loved the bottles too, but the actual glass part of the bottles reminds me of worms.. caterpillars..? Wish they went for a smooth bottle.

I ADORE this perfume! It is so creamy and smooth and sweet. The milk and hazelnut notes in this perfume started my obsession with lactonic and nutty accords and I now search for perfumes that contain such notes. It really is comforting and sexy at the same time, so I could see someone wearing this during the day in the autumn or winter but also at night for an amazing night out. I actually bought this perfume last spring when days were becoming much hotter so I have not yet had the chance to try it on properly so I CAN'T WAIT for the days to become colder to try this on again!! This is also my first perfume of the Yes I Am line, and I really love it, so I will be trying out the others soon :) I started trying this out more often as it will soon be winter. Well, I must admit that after a few hours, the dry down is actually too heavy and sweet for me. I have the same issue with Good Girl Suprême, which I think is a really similar fragrance. I don't think I will be wearing this too often after all. Maybe when the temperature gets even colder this winter this sweetness won't overwhelm me as much.

I am very pleased I received a samples of this today, since I saw it reminded someone of "Burberry Her Intense", which is a scent I love!! Sadly (for me), it is nothing like BHI. To me, it's blackberry and heliotrope all the way (almost leaning 'grape jelly' at the start). I asked my husband what he thought of it, and he said "it smells like flowers". If I smell really hard, I can pick out some jasmine too, with low amounts of sandalwood (maybe causing the 'milky' vibe?). Personally, I am getting hardly any nuttiness, and the original "Yes I Am" smells much creamier. Very low sillage (a skin scent pretty much from the get-go), and moderate longevity (25C summer day). I think I will save this one for cooler weather. [I also sampled "Yes I Am" original on my other hand, and it has completely faded whereas "Fabulous" is still noticeable.] It's an OK scent, and would be perfectly suited for the office, but I wouldn't buy a bottle of it, and would choose the original over it. I wouldn't necessarily say it smells like shampoo.......but I probably would buy a shampoo that smelled like this! ;)

Ooey gooey berry syrup with a little vanilla milk and almondy heliotrope, all with a rather artificial vibe. I have tried all Yes I Am flankers except for Pink First, and this is my least favorite. It has the sweet, creamy milkiness of the original, but without the spices that make that one fun and interesting. I don't think this smells like hazelnut in any way, and if I hadn't read the notes list I honestly couldn't tell if the berry note in this is meant to be blackberry, raspberry, blueberry or a mix. It just smells like glaringly purple berry flavoring mixed with creamy notes. The bottle color is really a good match for the scent. Far in the background I get a hint of scratchy synthetic woods, but they're very subtle. This is fine as a fun little pick-me-up, but not remarkable at all. It could easily be a celebrity release. I'm a fan of sweet scents in general, but I find this a little too sweet, it has nothing in it to balance the sweetness.

I do not like this. The opening is a little headache inducing for me. Better for winter/night. Smells kind of generic, I smell some berry and woody notes that give the "lactonic" vibe. the bottle is really ugly. It was a blind buy, the low price tag is the only reason I am not mad. UPDATE: Ok, the first review was on paper. I decided to try again on my skin and it is much better. A lot smoother, still sweet, but not as headache inducing. The berry is very jammy. The nutty notes help to make it smoother. I wish I would get more heliotrope and less berry. It is an ok scent. Good projection, good longevity. Good for a night out

Comparing this to my Mistral blackberry. Fabulous is lighter and more generic but still very wearable. Mistral is more full bodied w/berry being front and center. Fabulous just doesnt last very long on my skin. More like a body spray. I'm tempted to spray my ENTIRE closet with Fabulous and hope it lingers somewhat. Shame it doesnt have any oomph.

Interesting that the base is listed as milk and hazelnut, because after a few hours when almost everything fades, it smells very generic. A sweet musky scent, probably from the heliotrope and blackberry.

Standard “Yes I Am” DNA but with burnt, berry/grape-y, bubble gum type notes. Not bad in anyway, but I would much prefer to wear other flankers in the “Yes I Am” line.

I smelled this at Walmart since they had it available for Valentine's Day. It smelled amazing when I was walking around the store. Ordered a medium sized bottle. After actually wearing it on my skin for a few days, I don't think this will make a return when I finish this bottle. I didn't notice this when I tried it at Walmart, but this has a weird sour note in it that makes me feel a little nauseas, which I assume may be the blackberry. I personally feel like this smells really similar to the original, but the blackberry gives it this sour and citrusy vibe(I swear I smell orange along with blackberry.) This has pretty good projection and longevity for me. I could smell it on my shirt the next day when I woke up. Unfortunately it doesn't smell pleasant after being on all night, mixing with my sweat, etc. The sour notes get amped up and I just feel sorta like scrubbing it off. It's crazy to me how I can smell the DNA of the beautiful original Yes I Am, but something within this flanker ruins it for me. They are so similar yet so different at the same time. Edit: I figured out that overspraying this one actually made it smell more like bubblegum and less sour for some reason🤷 Not sure why but it worked and it made the fragrance smell much better. Still not worth a repurchase for me, the original is the best so far. Edit 2: Eventually got tired of this and gave it away. It's too sour for me and regardless of how much I sprayed it, it eventually got to the point where my nose just always picked up the sour notes. It smells like prune juice for some reason.

Yes I Am Fabulous? I beg to differ. Flashy is all I'm getting: a neon flash—bright, almost synthetic burst of saccharine sweetness that screeches of overdone. Like dousing candy in edible glitter til it sparkles in a way that’s more gaudy than gorgeous. Then a vague blackberry note—a murmur of tangy fruit that never quite materializes, like an afterthought scribbled in astringent polyphenols, fruity in the most blurry of ways. There’s a hint of creaminess, not the sumptuous, lactonic caress of well-aged dairy, but a fleeting, soft whisper that barely survives the initial assault. The hazelnut note, instead of comforting nuttiness or a chocolatey richness, reads more like powdered sugar. Cheap and cloying, like synthetic chemicals masquerading as gourmet. This fragrance genuinely smells so manufactured that I'm in shock, notes interacting in a way that’s more juvenile-teen-girl-grabbing formula than art. All this ends up feeling like is an overblown declaration of love, or glamour, or overconfidence and whatnot. Showoff-y and insistent, but ultimately hollow, a cheap display of sweetness that leaves me longing for something real. Not so fabulous.

I love the original of this and read that this flanker isn't too far off, so when i saw it in a set on Clearance at Shopper's Drug Mart during a spend your points event ($300 worth of merchandise for 200 points), I was giddy! Upon first spray and sniff it presents as something not unlike the bottom of the childhood white, waxed juice jug that no one ever washed. You know, you'd make all the different coloured Kool Aid one after the other but never even rinse the jug so each time all different powders just kind of sat at the bottom? It's like that: sweet, grape-y and not much else. I was most excited for the dry-down, because that's my favourite part of the original. I love the lactonic, creamy vibe. (Interestingly, no one has mentioned that that one shares a lot of similarities with the old Lou Lou.) So I went from the bedroom where I sprayed the perfume to the kitchen to grab my coffee, and by the time I got to the kitchen, the scent was gone. I don't mean faded. I mean GONE. And I couldn't smell it again. No drydown for me. Sigh. Note: My husband likes this one. He also likes grape jelly, so...
