Yes I Am Pink First

Ohhhhhhh my goodness, I was not expecting this to be so yummy! My husband picked this up for me unprompted for about $20 at Walmart. I’ve wanted to try the Cacharel Yes I Am line for a long time, so I was pretty excited for the surprise. And it did not disappoint! At first, Yes I Am Pink First seemed kind of “typical” or “basic” as some would say—it was just a pleasant, pretty, jasmine-centric fruity floral. But as I’ve gotten to know the fragrance and worn it some more, I’ve picked up on its more spicy facets, and I LOVE what it does to the fragrance. In a way, it kind of reminds me of a more “bubblegum” or “cutesy” Mugler-Alien type of scent. Don’t get me wrong, they don’t actually smell alike; I’m not saying in any way that this is a dupe for Alien. What I am saying is that I get a similar vibe to Alien with this, except way more bubblegum/cutesy. Maybe I’m totally wrong about the vibe, but that’s how I feel about it right now! Performance is really good for the price, and I think this is a great “going out” perfume for all year round. I don’t think it’s a safe blind buy, though, just due to its spiciness.

It's milky raspberry with a prominent (and not so common) note of ambroxan. It's a weird fragrance at first, but it's good. It's like lipstick, but nicer because of the orange blossom. I personally like it, it's different. I think not everyone might like it at first, but anyone who wears will make others wonder what fragrance is it. Let me explain myself: it's like what happens with Lolita Lempicka. Although very loved, not everybody dares to wear that one because it's still considered weird..., but it's nice and feminine indeed. Would I buy it? Yes. Smells perfect for a sunny day in spring. The fixation and sillage are excellent, hands down. I tested a lot of perfumes today and this is the one that lasts the most on my skin. I guess it lasts even more on fabric. I have nothing to say about the quality. It's a good perfume.

Just received this today! Absolutely loving it so far, great blind buy if you enjoy fruity sweet Gummy candies is what it reminds me of, not getting much of the spices or menthol like others are getting.. just super feminine smooth soft Gummy candy perfume but not childish. I think this will be a great easy reach as well. I've had it on for 2 hours now, still projecting and smelling beautiful.

I absolutely LOVE this. it is musky, creamy, milky, sweet but NOT sickening sweet at all. This is so beautiful it is like a sweet comforting cloud. I feel like it is interesting and unique but not loud. I feel like it leaves you wanting more! Intriguing! Definitely want to try the rest of the yes I am gals!

@veda It's a fantastic fragrance, I don't get the hate either. It's beautiful, well-blended, feminine, safe, and different. I like the milk note too!

Blind bought in TK Maxx because I set out that morning to buy some sort of cheap perfume and nothing was gunna stop me. I had a voucher that needed using so off I trot to find the most depressing discount shelf ever. The boxes were dusty and I didn't hold out a lot of hope for anything decent. They did have Red Door and Sunflowers - EA and if they were Green Teas or flankers I definitely would've left with them instead lol. They also had Lolita Lempika for £40 which isn't bad! CK eternity and something else too, all sitting around £30-40 so really cheap but I wanted CHEAP CHEAP haha. They had this one and Amor Amor by Cacharel and pink first had more of a scent profile I like (my bf is allergic to oranges so dislikes the smell so anything overly orange-y is out). It cost £17.99 for 50ml. Honestly I bought it with the intention of using it as a body spray/bag spray etc. or even giving it away to a colleague if I didn't vibe with it, but its genuinely not bad. It smells pleasant, sillage is decent for a few hours, people have complimented me which is more than I usually get in my niche frags!!! Definitely get a sweet fruity opening, rich fruit though not shampoo-y. A bit of jasmine lightens it from being a totally seductive evening scent and the lovely milky, ambery sandalwood base is my favourite base possible. I think a touch of vanilla and caramel or vanilla and sugar/marshmallow would make this something amazing but as it stands its perfectly wearable and inoffensive especially for the very low price! 7/10

This is the first fragrance from this line that I've tried. It's fruity and sweet, yes. I love the base notes and I think the original Yes I Am may be a better fit for me. I think I'll keep it though. It will be good for the 110+ degree days of August. The raspberry/pear is amplified on my skin, then the kick of ginger is prominent, which I love. This has the well-needed depth to keep the scent grounded. Smells more expensive than its price point. I've always loved Cacharel fragrances especially Lou Lou. They're well-blended, well-composed perfumes. I can recall the original formulations of Cacharel before so many synthetics were used. The longer Yes I Am Pink wears the more I like it. Don't judge it straight away. Let it bloom for at least half an hour before making your decision. For the price, you can't go wrong if you like berry sweet gourmands. I'll also be purchasing the original Yes I Am shortly.

Blind bought a small bottle for dirt cheap. Gave it to my mom as a gift and she isn't huge about the ginger note so she lets me use it. The initial spray is pretty harsh, but the dry down smells really good. Does not last very long though, but it's cheap enough to respray. I think it could be worn by all ages. It's not super aggressively gourmand which I like, even with the horchata vibe. I honestly might just wear this to bed/spray on my pillow because it's very comforting and lasts longer on clothes than skin. Edit: tbh it kind of reminds me of a cheaper/more synthetic smelling Ari by Ariana Grande which makes sense bc the top notes are the same I think Edit 2: after letting it age for awhile it definitely smells a lot sweeter and more gourmand, I get no fruit, and it seems to last longer

This is nice, but not as good as the OG. I've tried Fabulous, Glorious, Pink First and the OG. I haven't liked any of the flankers as much as the OG. Fabulous was too sour. Glorious was a tad nauseating. Pink First is weaker and slightly more sour than the OG. Every time I try one of these I just regret not getting the OG. I want to try Bloom Up but these flankers don't have a good track record for me. Pink First smells better on clothes than skin for me. It has basically the same scent profile as the OG for me. I smell chai tea, apple sauce, grape juice, and Alien-esque jasmine. PF lasts all day on clothes but the projection isn't all that great. On my skin, it's basically gone after 20 minutes. I won't purchase this flanker again.

This smells beautiful. I don’t smell any ginger/minty accord though, I wish it was slightly stronger cuz I like a fresh zesty ginger note like the one in Classique flankers. The raspberry and jasmine notes are prominent on my skin for the first few minutes. After about 10-15minutes, it becomes slightly lactonic. This is when it starts to smell kinda lipsticky which I really like. Cardamom becomes slightly noticeably after about 15-20 minutes which I like even more. The dry down is where it’s at, it’s definitely a sexy night-time perfume. It’s perfectly sweet, not cloying or too much for hot days. I’d personally wear this all year ‘round. I’m itching to try the original Yes I am perfume after smelling this flanker. 😬

When I saw it for the price of 15£ I obviously took the plunge. And I don't regret a thing. 😂 It is a creamy/milky berry with a touch of cardamom. I don't smell jasmine and sadly I don't think I smelled the pear either. It stays on my skin a good 5 hours and on my clothes a whole day. It kinda reminds me of Yara lattafa. Maybe it is the synthetic fruits 😂

This is delightful. I just picked up 10 mL for under $5! At Walmart online. I heard Ksenja review it. Well. Actually she reviewed the original but that's what I thought I was buying LOL, but whatever under $5. This is so nice. It's kind of bubble gummy on my skin and it has a lipstick smell to it as well as being fruity but not childish. It's a win!

100% bubble gum! In a good way :) It's sweet, fun and flirty and well done on the lasting power. Truly a happy scent with raspberry sweetness but not cloying. A definite tester for gourmand lovers.

Not complex or sophisticated but sweet, easy and fun. I like this one more and more as I wear it. It has a nice, surprising dry down due to that unexpected freshness.

This is so girly, playful and feminine The first spritz is a bit to harsh but the drydown subtle, gentle and yummy

interesting. almost cinnamon or spice. thinner and more floral, with but liquid texture in the backdrop

I tried this for the first time today. In fact, I swapped it with one of my least worn perfumes on a second-hand app. I find this very similar to Emporio Armani For Her and I am surprised nobody has ever mentioned this! I have both of them now and I can say that the two scents share a very similar vibe (although the notes on fragrantica are different to some extent). EA smells a bit more refined with more wood and the addition of musk. Yes I am Pink Now is like a more spring-summerish and fruity version. Since I do not have much left in my EA bottle, I am happy that I ended up with another bottle that can replace it. But if I was to buy a brand new bottle, I'd still go with EA Her.

I bought this perfume a few years ago when I was going through an experimental phase with fragrance. My bottle is only a quarter full, so I can say I definitely enjoyed it back then—but that is no longer the case. It starts off smelling like plain, unsweetened milk before becoming a heavenly mix of milk and fresh, sweet fruit. The dry down is what I don’t like. It loses its sweetness, smelling mostly of unsweetened milk, spice, and jasmine. It doesn’t smell bad—it’s just not my cup of tea anymore.

So this perfume is really odd..I must say that I adore the original "Yes I am". This flanker personally I don't like.. I was expected some fruity scent and for the most part this is true, but.. there is this "but".. Oddly enough, to me this smells like ripe banana :D I even asked my mom to try it on and she says she doesn't smell this, but on my skin it's almost identical to very ripe banana.. no raspberries, nor milk note, nor floral :D but literally banana.. I mean, I am not exactly sure I wanna smell like ripe fruit of this kind haha so for me this flanker is a fail. Not that is super unpleasant, but is just so weird and I am a bit shocked to why this fragrance sits this way on my skin. Maybe I just make such association, but still. It does not smell sophisticated to me by any means. The bottle just like the first one is very cute, a bit immature yet creative at the same time. I like it overall. The longevity is also not good. The first one is much stronger imo, this one is fairly light, almost like a summer scent. So I don't know what to tell you about this one. I can't recommend, but I can't also say it's super bad. It's not heavy, nor something I can't stand. But do I wanna smell like ripe banana? I would say no. Now I am curious about the third flanker (the purple one) :D wonder what it would smell like.. ripe mango? haha jk. I would say if you love fruity milky scents, go for the original YES I AM. Oh, by the way.. I don't smell any of the notes listed here.. nor the ginger, nor milk, nor pear, nor cardamon. Really odd..

Woah! This is soo sweet it gave me diabetes. Seriously instant headache... The initial blast is so overwhelming I wanted to wash it off but I powered through and now it doesn't smell that bad. I decided to test this because I love raspberry scented fragrances but after the initial blast it's as good as faded and instead turned into a sweet, spicy milky scent. I have to admit that it's actually nice (if you can get past the initial sugary punch). It does smell better than first Yes I Am, even though it has a much sweeter opening. It's toned down, probably because they took out the synthetic caramel note that made it smell so generic in the first place. Sillage is not bad, it does settle down after the initial spray and the longevity is okayish (5 hours). I don't mind this and I would actually wear this if I could get past the initial spray. It's nothing new, very fun, SWEET and dare I say young perfume. Edit: Nevermind, after a while it became sickly sweet again, a bit too much for me.
