Flavius Calaj and his wonderful perfumes exploded into the public consciousness just over a few months ago, and caused a huge impact in Europe. All of the bottles of Transilvania, Oshun, Black Beard and Love Toxin were sold out in a few weeks. This time Calaj Limited Edition is launching 3 new fragrances as part of the Silver Collection: Lilyn, Aliz and Metaphore. And im sure the success is guaranteed. The Nose behind Lilyn and Metaphore is of course the fantastically talented Miguel Matos, but Aliz was created by amazing Ricardo Ramos and Jorge Lee. My personal favorite from the new collection is definitely Aliz. A good friend of mine told me the other day that is better not to know the ingredients of a perfume, ‘coz when we know it our brain will make us feel anyway. I can’t believe im saying this: sometimes you’re right :) And because of this I didn’t ask anything about the background of the perfume. We can’t enjoy Aliz’s strongly green start for long, it fully disappears in a minute, and evaporate away really fast. But I don’t mind, ‘coz it gives way to a creamy, elegance sweetness. Suddenly with a big change the smell of plum compote pushes into my nose. If I close my eyes I can almost smell the unmistakable smell of my grandma’s plum pie, which she always baked before Christmas. Now the weather has turned cold, we want warm, soft smells instead of fresh and light one. We want a sweet one, which can protect us from cold, and stay with us like a second skin. Aliz can do it perfectly. Its sillage is outstanding, one single blow fills the room and even after 4 hours I can feel really strong on my skin. It feels especially good to wear this perfume. Its striking, but not too overpowering. I can constantly feel the plum on my skin, but it continuously shows different faces: sometimes creamy, sometimes spicy, sometimes honey sweet, it never gets boring. The longevity is excellent The dry down is my fav, the fragrance conjures up sensuality, femininity and mystery Thank you Flavius for allowing me to try your new scents, it was an honor. Aaaaaaand Ricardo and Jorge......thank you for creating this great perfume, you both are so talented

insanely good aquatic mineral melange. starts off sweet, almost bubble gum, but dries down into a metallic, pool like frag. like birch leaves in the distance at a Slavic sauna. this does what I want perfume to do, which is create something simultaneously alien and familiar.
