Morning Glory

Some of my friends say I have a fragrance addiction and I own a lot of expensive perfumes. With that being said, this body spray has amazing projection and longevity to pass Victoria Secret or Bath and Body Works. I normally HATE florals and I love this scent! I think it is ageless as I began using it when I was 18 years old and my grandmother wore it and smelled lovely. To me, it almost smells like Febreeze but in a good way. It smells fresh, floral and clean. It reminds me of walking outside on a dewy morning and smelling the flowers after a rain. I don't pick up any fruity notes just a very watery fresh floral that smells like you just took a shower. It is green, powdery, and girly. This is one of my all time favourites. It belongs in the same aquatic family as scents like Cool Water Woman without the fruit. It is innocent and simple. Even if florals aren't for you if you love fresh scents give this one a try.

Love this scent. I’m not getting “shampoo vibes” like others mentioned, but “familiar body lotion” scent. It reminds me of a less mature version of Noa by Cacharel, which is good for me since I personally find Noa a bit too mature - though I know many people love it. Longevity, silage... WOW, this is STRONG for a body mist. It honestly outperforms some of my expensive perfumes. It lasts a full day on clothes and has very strong projection for the first few hours. I sprayed my shirt (arms, chest, stomach) and my vest in the morning, and 3 hours later at work people were commenting that it smelled like “lotion.” Not in a bad way - but then I realized it was me 😅 Definitely going lighter on the sprays next time because I’m not the type to want fragrance to announce me first. It’s also nice to wear to bed and helps with a really relaxing, calming scent to fall asleep with!

Calgon Morning Glory was a scent I adored and wore frequently through my teenage and early 20s. A bright floral and green and blue aquatic in the same category but infinitely superior in comparison to the modern Bath and Bodyworks “Gingham.” I get a similar vibe to my nostalgic Morning Glory by wearing Bath and Body works “Mango Lagoon” body cream and spritzing Avon “Haiku Reflection” (the blue lid flanker) on My elbows and then a final spritz of Gingham. Sounds link a strange combination but it has that oceanic earthy vibe blue musk aura of Morning Glory. If I could find the Morning Glory lotion, I would also get the spray and the intense version.

This is an impressive fragrance!!! For the price, the lasting power is phenomenal. It lasts all day long. It's so clean, as others have said - a lovely just out of the shower fresh smell. This is one drugstore find that is well worth the money, one that I will buy over and over again. It's my favorite of all the Calgon line and is better than many name brand perfumes I own.

Great everyday fragrance, reminds me of some freesia body mists. smells very clean a watery. draws compliments. after it dries it has a scent that is a little woody with a peppery Freesia overtone. Lovely. I almost could kick myself for not buying the perfume version back in 2006 when I saw it in a local drugstorefor 12.99 ... The body mist will always be in my collection.

I love this fragrance as a quick go to during the summer - I get lots of compliments and it smells so good!

I have the body mist. I LOVE IT! It's a very fresh and clean, powdery floral. A great uplifting scent.

childhood memories in a bottle!

I bought a bottle of the Morning Glory body spray at CVS during a recent BOGO sale, more out of curiosity than anything else, but I actually like it very much. This is a skin scent (hence the "like" rather than "love" rating), but there is a time and a place for skin scents. I got the impression of a garden filled with blue and purple flowers, near a small stream, in the early morning when it's cool outside and a little breezy. This is a clean, refreshing fragrance which would be stronger combined with the bath oil and other matching products (or in the perfume form) .However, I think this tends to the lighter end of the scent scale anyways. It lasts longer than I expected, too.

I wore this body spray for many many years in my 20s! (I actually had no idea there was a perfume version until just now). Absolutely adored it, and it's SO cheap for a bottle. People would always say I smelled like I just stepped out of the shower. Wonderful summer fragrance! Very light. Kept me feeling fresh in the intense heat where I live. I could spray it all over my body and it would never be overwhelming, and works really well in 100+ degree temps. In fact, I'm wondering why I don't use this stuff anymore as I'm writing this. :)

I still smell this in my mind's nose! My mom bought this for my birthday or a Christmas once (at any rate, I remember being happy opening it). A simple, whimsical fragrance suitable for absolutely anyone. It's as if water was powered and blended with soft, breathable florals atop a bed of plush freesia musk. I'd know it anywhere and miss it dearly. Maybe I'll re-aquire this someday 💙 It matches the bottle's color perfectly, a powdery blue.

I have the body spray of this one, and like others have already said, it does smell clean and soapy like you are shower fresh. It's a perfect casual fragrance, especially in hot weather. For an $8 body spray I am pretty darn impressed with this. It smells better than a lot of more costly perfumes and it lasts all day long, especially when sprayed on clothing.

Fresh blue aquatic with a clean shower vibe. I think I get a little apple but it's not sweet, just crisp. This has a laundry vibe like a milder version of Jil Sander Style Pastels Green. Low sillage but reasonable longevity for a lower cost scent. It's good in the hot and humid weather as it has a cool feel to it without any citrus notes.

Wow, there are a lot of notes listed here for a simple floral aquatic. I am getting the jasmine, orchid and apple the most. Water doesn't really have a smell, but this falls into the aquatic category for me. This smells soapy and clean, but not necessarily perfumey. Its as if you just stepped out of the shower. A very fresh scent.

I remember wearing this in middle school and thinking it smelled very much like the ocean, very watery. I loved it. Its perfect for putting on after a shower, totally inoffensive and fresh. Great for young teens or people who dont like strong scents but still want to smell good.

I'm thinking about picking up a bottle of this for the summer as I used to wear it a lot when I was in the Navy 2001-2003. Its a great clean, fresh, floral aquatic. Non offensive and long lasting for a body spray. I always got compliments and it is non offensive.

This was the only perfume (body spray) I could afford years ago and I still love it! It’s so nostalgic and takes me back to my teens. Refreshing, fresh, crisp & slightly floral. Gives me expensive shampoo vibes. LOVE IT

Nice, light smell and very affordable. It’s only sold as a body spray currently though so don’t expect the strength of a perfume. Perfect to apply after getting out of a shower.

I first smelled this when it was just a body splash but this really is a very fresh scent. It is inexpensive and whenever I would wear it I always received compliments.

I think I had this when I was a young teenager as a body mist. I find this scent refreshing, captivating, and uplifting.

This item is well worth the money! Reminds me of the perfumes from Clean! Smells clean and "out of the shower"-fresh!

Reminds me of Versace pour femme dylan blue

This fragrance makes me feel so fresh. It's like a breath of fresh air. The best out of the shower fragrance.

BODY MIST: Never seen this as a perfume, but I have been using the body mist since the 90's. This was one of the first fragrances I ever owned and I still love it to this day! I'm not a body mist girl but I will gladly continue to purchase this as long as it is available from Calgon. Very FRESH and pretty out of the shower scent. I reach for this EVERY spring and summer. A must have in my collection at all times. It has good longevity and decent sillage for a body mist. Love it. I will have to keep my eye open for the perfume version! :) Side Note: Now if only Calgon would bring back the "water lilies" scent! It has long been discontinued but it was a close 2nd place to "morning glory" for me back in the day. :)

DISCLAIMER: I have never smelled the EDP, only the body mist. I used to use the body mist when I smoked to try to cover up the smoke smell a bit at work (although I probably just smelled like cigarettes + body mist, oh well). I was about 22-23 then, and I do think this is a scent that would appeal to younger people. It is fresh, neutral, and clean smelling, and the aquatic notes balance the floral notes keeping this from being overly flowery. It reminds me of a nice smelling shampoo or other hair product. My tastes have since changed, but I wouldn't mind sitting next to someone who is wearing the body spray.

Just a little review to share Morning Glory smells very similar to Bath and Body Works Freesia. It's certainly, a fresh, clean, breezy, out of the shower scent. That said, I did detect a slight hint of a "damp laundry" accord, the same one that I get from from BBW Freesia, which is a little off-putting to me - but that's just my own personal experience, and I'm sure it smells a bit different on everyone!

This body mist smells so good, and lasts quite a while to be a body mist, especially when you layer it with the matching lotion. This smells like straight up fresh and clean flowers, and kind of reminds of the Bath and Body Works shower gel called Freesia.

This is a very nice scent that I like to wear on any regular day where I just want something not too loud on me. To me it smells more like laundry or bar soap rather than floral.

A nice first-date fragrance, I've always thought. Fresh, pleasant, complex enough to be interesting, but not trying too hard. :)

This is a beautiful shampoo scent. It reminds me of Boum Savon by Jean Arthes; and Dylan blue (Versace).

How to describe this perfume in one sentence: it's 2003 and you just stepped out of the shower.

omg I didnt even know they had eau de parfum! buying it! the mist sold at walmart is so yummy!
