Tahitian Orchid

To my surprise (because I'm typically not a big fan of Calgon fragrances), I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the Taihitian Orchid fragrance mist by Calgon!! I happily discovered this beautiful fragrance at CVS while I was there looking for something else. It's a very innocent; light and airy floral fragrance that just reminds me of being showered with beautiful Orchid petals. Quite honestly, I've noticed this stays on me for about 2 or 3 hours, so I usually reapply a few more spritzes throughout the day. There's nothing off-putting about this. Nothing complicated. Just a pure and straightforward scent of beautiful orchids that just lifts your spirits and makes you feel happy! I ordered 2 more bottles on the CVS website, and found another bottle at Walgreens, as locating this has been hit or miss locally, and I want a continuous supply! Don't let the inexpensive price fool you. It definitely delivers, and you get a nice sized 8 fl oz bottle! This may not be a fragrance for everyone, however. But for me it is a gem of a fragrance that I not only recommend for Spring and Summer, but just anytime during the year that you desire a lovely blast of delicate orchids!

Love this! My favourite mist from Calgon. Immediately after spraying it smells like a floral version of Ralph (Ralph Lauren), then dries down into a fruitier version of Curious (Britney Spears). It’s very shampooy and clean! I feel like overspraying on a hot day could turn cloying and give me a headache - so just a couple sprays suits me well :)

Powdery, Aquatic & Faintly Creamy White-Orchid... The orchid here is not the deep purple, fruity kind found in Euphoria Calvin Klein, or Black Orchid Tom Ford, but it's more of a powdery, aquatic pale-purple. Opens with a burst of powdery, watery florals that deepens into a sweet, powdery & succulent orchid heart,resting on a musky vanilla-wood base. Overall there is an aquatic & sweet floral vibe with shampoo & tea in the background. Above average performance for a body spray. Contrast to Ralph Ralph Lauren: These are different, but there is a similar light fruity floral vibe. Ralph leans fruitier with superior performance, although TO has above average performance for a body spray. Contrast to Paris Hilton Paris Hilton: These are different, but there is a similar light fruity floral vibe. Paris Hilton is fruitier, and has oakmoss and superior performance. Contrast to Catherine Malandrino Violet Gem: These are different, but there is a similar light fruity floral vibe. This is the closest to Tahitian Orchid I've smelt, but CMV has superior performance, although TO has above average performance for a body spray. Overall: Above average performance for a body spray, with a beautiful scent profile. Enjoy!

This has the SAME gingery note that I can't stand in Marc Jacobs Dot - I think it's the pitahaya/dragon fruit (there's no orchid listed in the notes for Dot). It's a little brighter and more fruity than Dot, but that's all it has going for it.

I lightly fresh, sweet floral scent. Nice and classic body mist type smell
