Calvin Klein Women Eau de Parfum Intense

I'm low-key in love with the smell of CK Women EDP Intense. I love the mix of olibanum/frankincense, orange blossom, and cardamom... it just smells so sophisticated to me. Even though the scents are by no means twins, Women Intense and YSL Libre have a similar profile, to me, with their clean but rich orange blossom and citrus, and herbal/spice thing thrown in -- cardamom in Women Intense and lavender in Libre. So, if you love Libre, you may very well love CK Women Intense, too. Both read as smart and grown up, very much scents for women (or whomsoever!) to be reckoned with. The only minor negative with Women Intense (unlike with Libre) is that its longevity is not great on my skin; but that problem seems to be solved by spraying some on my clothes, too.

This is my signature perfume and I get lots of compliments when I wear it. I like how the scent can fill the room and everyone from my family and friends recognize my smell.

When I had an inexperienced nose, I didn't like this. It leaned very masculine on me. However, I've really grown to appreciate citrus scents over time. I use it sporadically so I don't know if I would buy another bottle of this once I finish mine but it is quite nice. I don't really have anything like this in my collection so I enjoy it in the moment. Really enjoy the top notes of Bergamot & Lemon. The violet is so prominent; it reminds me of Love Spell by Victoria Secret, but more refined with a woody base. update: This is absolutely perfect as an office scent or for professional settings. It’s a blast of citrus and quite spicy in the opening but it settles down to a quiet powdery violet with sandalwood. It’s not loud at all but I feel put together whenever I wear this. I also think it’s light enough as an everyday scent. I even wear it to the gym and ive gotten compliments when I’ve gotten my hair down. Really hidden gem. I dont know what I’ll do when she’s empty.

This is very bracing at first, with a hint of the eucalyptus note from the regular EDP and a bit cologne-like around the edges. I can imagine a Victorian-era woman carrying a vial of this around with her in case of a fainting spell. (But a man could definitely wear this too and would possibly wear it better). It feels positively antiseptic. It’s well-blended and fairly linear. At times I catch a whiff of salty driftwood and something honeyed, which reminds me of Hermes’ Eau de Merveilles line; I guess it’s mainly the olibanum giving that impression. I’m feeling quite warm at the moment and with only one spray split between both wrists this is radiating persistently and medicinally. A good palette-cleansing cheapie.

I picked this up recently because I was looking for a fresh scent for the hotter months. It smells to me like a grown up citrus bomb - sophisticated and clean, almost unisex upon the first spritz, but then the beautiful floral notes begin to shine through. Not sure if I’m smitten enough to grab anything more than the 50ml, but I’m looking forward to wearing it out this summer.

To me, it has minimal to no difference from the original Women. A little more potent, but the general outcome is... generic. First impression: zesty with some light spiciness to it. Quite a simple and linear fragrance that is rather boring. However if you are a ride-or-die fan of the original, you will appreciate that this EDP intense has stronger projection and longevity (6hrs now and still counting). EDIT: >10hrs of wear and it’s finally growing on me: sandalwood and patchouli notes come to the forefront and it’s beautiful!

I think I got a bad batch. I initially smelt this a year ago at an airport, liked it but not enough to buy: pretty, powdery, floral but playful and not too mature. Then last month when I saw it on sale at another airport, I just grabbed it and OH NO! First of all, the lid is so annoying, reminds me of a protractor from maths class days 🤣 The scent (well the poor batch I got) smells nothing like masterpieces Libre or Light Blue. This smells like damp, forgotten laundry. Like you did the laundry Friday but only remembered to take it out of the machine on Monday night. You can smell the musty, decaying remnants of soap and the hints of cleanliness that once was, cut through by the muskiness of damp clothes that will need a hot rinse and a rewash. Unfortunately, it’s not a store on the high street I could return to so to the bin it is.

I tried it at Shoppers , walked around, then came back to try it again...I was very tempted to buy it...it smells very feminine, a mix of warm notes, very nice...what kept me is that it isn't like out of this world, but it is pretty, interesting, and in my view with more character than the original, which was a bit soft and non descriptive for my taste..I might buy it if I see it at a discount..because I liked it, it smelled good to my nose, which is what a perfume should do.. UPDATE: I decided not to buy it, it is a bit too forgettable and too soft

Very nice fragrance. Spicy and fresh. Nothig "waw-extraordinary" but very nice and somehow different. Its on the safe side and probably designed as everyday fragrance. For a good price i would be happy to have this fragrance.

This scent is absolutely gorgeous. Soft, feminine and clean. Perfect for office and everyday wear. I adore this. Though it does not last forever. I get 4 hours before it becomes a sin scent.

So pleasent scent of a women, her skin, body, hair, cosmetic. Soft, not too sweet, powdery, sensual. Neutral beauty.Very good staying power.
