CK Free Sport

A cool looking bottle – condemned by p*ss poor performance. For the hour or two that this lasts, I pick up a faint smell that is like a bog-standard bracing eau de cologne or something reminiscent of a (very) poor man's VC&A Tsar – so poor in fact that it smells totally generic with virtually no projection. Won't even make a footnote in the history of fragrances. Utterly forgettable. UPDATE: Ok, having used it several times recently as my gym fragrance, it's not quite as poor as I described it above. It does grow on you due to its fresh and undemanding nature, making it an exceptionally good dumb reach fragrance. The woody creamy drydown is nice, especially on clothes many hours later. You can also get 4 or so hours of soft projection out of this in cool weather, but the projection is almost non existent in warm weather. UPDATE 2: In a stunning volte face, I actually now like it and enjoy using it, and will definitely miss it when my bottle is finished!

I have used CK Free Sports. Its mediocre type summery fragrance and don't have something new. It has noticeable sea notes as well as Lily and Jasmine. The middle notes are too much empowering flowery smell which is not the nicer part of this men's fragrance and dominates towards powdery feminine smell. The top notes were gone just with in minutes. I won't buy another bottle.

This is the perfect cologne to leave out for guests in the restroom of your home. It will smell better than what they've produced near the toilet. Serviceable AAT best...but not memorable.

Pros: - Sweet smelling - Reminds me of Drifter - True Religon - Very light Cons: - Generic smell - Lasts maybe 30 minutes even if you poured it all over your body (I did) - Nobody can smell it unless intimately close (within those 30 minutes) - Nothing special This smells like Drifter - True Religon so just buy that instead as it lasts longer and smells better. It has potential but it fails due to its non-existant longevity and its sillage. Very generic nothing special. I keep it in one of my coat pockets in the off event I forget to wear a proper cologne before I leave the house. Its my last choice and last resort. Most of the reviews last longer than CK Free.

Yes, because CK Free and CK Free Blue, and CK Free Willy, oh wait, got carried away, as I was saying, you know, because the Free line has been so ultra successful, we think we'll add to that perfumery art with a CK Free Sport fragrance because those always do immensley well also? For my taste only, there are about 200 designer "sport" frags, and the only ones that I will give a nod to: 1. Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme 2. Armani Code Sport 3. Allure Homme Sport 4. Dior Homme Sport - not as great as it's hyped, but better than 95% of them. I can tell you right now without ever even looking at the bottle in person, it will be watery, citrusy, and will last about 30 minutes before fading into the same dimention that Free and Free Blue still reside. Worst things Calvin Klein EVER did was SELL OUT a minor league company like Coty.

I bought this 2 months ago. The longevity is only good for the first 30 minutes maximum to an hour. The sillage is really weak. People have never complimented on me. I would not mind the smell it is pretty fresh and good for people who are against sweet smelling scents. but it lacks the good ingredients that a scent requires for being outstanding and unique.

Has there been any breakthrough fragrance Calvin Klein released ever since it sold out to Coty (maker of Charlie perfume). The answer is NO. They have just been churning out generic, forgettable fragrances using the brand's successful line like Eternity.

@blaisepascal87: Well they have the Summers, the aquas, the darks, the intenses, the freshes, the pops, the blues, the shocks, the heats, the electrics, the grafittis, the nights, etc, etc... It was just a matter of time! Good data though!

Today I was at the gym and saw a promotional bottle sitting in the men's locker for people to test out. It does smell 'sporty'- citrus and marine, just like the other million similar releases. It is BORING.

Smelt this the other day. It smells almost identical to CK Crave. Practically a repackaging! It's a cologney fragrance. Light, fresh, non-invasive. Great for the gym, but I'd rather wear Davidoff Champion
